¹ After this I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightned with his glory.

²⁴ for as the lightning flashes from one extremity of the sky to the other, so shall the appearance of the son of man be.

⁸ and then the lawless will be discover'd, whom the Lord will extirpate by the spirit of his mouth, and at his glorious advent, will intirely abolish him,
