¹ Praise Jehovah. Praise the name of Jehovah. Praise, O you* servants of Jehovah,

⁶ And Jehovah passed by before him and proclaimed, Jehovah, Jehovah, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness and truth, ⁷ keeping loving kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin and who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons and upon the sons' sons, upon the third and upon the fourth generation.

⁵ Then the Levites, Jeshua and Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said, Stand up and praise Jehovah your* God from everlasting to everlasting. And praise your glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.

¹⁷ I will give thanks to Jehovah according to his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of Jehovah Most High.

¹ Rejoice in Jehovah, O you* righteous ones. Praise is becoming for the upright. ² Give thanks to Jehovah with the harp. Sing praises to him with the psaltery of ten strings.

¹ O sing to Jehovah a new song. Sing to Jehovah, all the earth. ² Sing to Jehovah, bless his name. Show forth his salvation from day to day. ³ Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples.
⁴ Because great is Jehovah and greatly to be praised. He is to be feared above all gods.

²¹ that men may declare the name of Jehovah in Zion and his praise in Jerusalem,

¹ Praise Jehovah. O give thanks to Jehovah, because he is good, because his loving kindness is everlasting.

⁸ O that men would praise Jehovah for his loving kindness and for his wonderful works to the sons of men!

¹ Praise Jehovah. I will give thanks to Jehovah with my whole heart, in the council of the upright and in the congregation.

¹ Praise Jehovah. The man is fortunate who fears Jehovah, who delights greatly in his commandments.

¹ O praise Jehovah, all you* Gentiles, laud him, all you* peoples.
² Because his loving kindness is great toward us and the truth of Jehovah is everlasting.

¹³ Let them praise the name of Jehovah, because his name alone is exalted. His glory is above the earth and the heavens.

Sing to Jehovah a new song and his praise in the assembly of the holy ones. ² Let Israel rejoice in him who made him. Let the sons of Zion be joyful in their King. ³ Let them praise his name in the dance. Let them sing praises to him with timbrel and harp.

⁶ Let everything that has breath praise Jehovah.
