² And he called him and said to him, What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your stewardship, for you may no longer be steward.

⁹ And Jehovah God called to Adam and said to him, Where are you? ¹⁰ And he said, I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I am naked, and I hid myself. ¹¹ And He said, Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree which I commanded you that you should not eat?

⁹ And Jehovah said unto Cain, Where is your brother Abel? And he said, I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper? ¹⁰ And He said, What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries to Me from the ground.

²⁰ And Jehovah said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous, ²¹ I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which has come to Me. And if not, I will know.

²³ And he said to them, Why do you do such things? For I hear of your evil dealings by all the people. ²⁴ No, my sons, for it is no good report that I hear. You make Jehovah's people to transgress.

⁹ Rejoice, in your youth, young man; and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth, and walk in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes; but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment. ¹⁰ Therefore remove vexation from your heart, and put away evil from your flesh; for childhood and prime of life are vanity.

¹⁴ For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it is good, or whether evil.

³⁶ But I say to you that every idle word, whatever men may speak, they shall give account of it in the day of judgment.

²⁰ But God said to him, Fool! This night your soul shall be required of you, then whose shall be those things which you have prepared?

⁴² And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward whom his lord shall set over his houseservants, to give them their portion of food in season?

²¹ For I feared you, because you are a harsh man. You take up what you did not lay down, and you reap what you did not sow. ²² And he said to him, I will judge you out of your own mouth, wicked servant! You knew that I was a harsh man, taking up what I had not laid down and reaping what I did not sow. ²³ And why did you not give my silver on the bank table, and coming I might have exacted it with interest? ²⁴ And he said to those who stood by, Take the mina from him and give it to him who has ten minas. ²⁵ And they said to him, Lord, he has ten minas. ²⁶ For I say to you that to everyone who has, more will be given. And from him who has not, even that which he has will be taken from him.

¹² So then each one of us will give account concerning himself to God.

¹¹ For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brothers, by those of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

² And the rest, it is sought among stewards that one be found faithful.

⁵ Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts. And then shall each one have praise of God.

¹⁰ For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive the things done through the body, according to that which he has done, whether good or bad.

¹⁴ Do not neglect the gift in you, which was given you by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the body of elders.

²⁴ Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment. And some they also follow after.

⁵ But they shall give account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

¹⁰ each one as he received a gift, ministering it to yourselves as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

¹² And I saw the dead, the small and the great, stand before God. And books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
