¹ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, ² to the saints and faithful brothers in Christ at Colosse. Grace to you, and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. ³ We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, ⁴ since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love you have to all the saints, ⁵ for the hope which is laid up for you in Heaven, of which you heard before in the Word of the truth of the gospel, ⁶ which has come to you as it has also in all the world, and it is bearing fruit, even also among you, since the day you heard and fully knew the grace of God in truth, ⁷ even as you learned from Epaphras our beloved fellow-servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ for you, ⁸ he also having shown your love in the Spirit to us. ⁹ For this cause we also, since the day we heard, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, ¹⁰ that you might walk worthy of the Lord to all pleasing, being fruitful in every work and increasing in the knowledge of God, ¹¹ being empowered with all power, according to the might of His glory, to all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness, ¹² giving thanks to the Father, who has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. ¹³ For He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son; ¹⁴ in whom we have redemption through His blood, the remission of sins. ¹⁵ who is the image of the invisible God, the First-born of all creation. ¹⁶ For all things were created in Him, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers, all things were created through Him and for Him. ¹⁷ And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. ¹⁸ And He is the Head of the body, the church, who is the Beginning, the First-born from the dead, that He may be pre-eminent in all things. ¹⁹ For it pleased the Father that in Him all fullness should dwell. ²⁰ And through Him having made peace through the blood of His cross, it pleased the Father to reconcile all things to Himself through Him, whether the things on earth or the things in Heaven. ²¹ And you, who were once alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled ²² in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish, and without charge in His sight, ²³ if indeed you continue in the faith grounded and settled, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard and which was proclaimed in all the creation under Heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister, ²⁴ who now rejoice in my sufferings on your behalf, and I fill up the things lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh, on behalf of His body, which is the church; ²⁵ of which I became a minister, according to the administration of God given to me for you, to fulfill the Word of God; ²⁶ the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. ²⁷ For to them God would make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the nations, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory, ²⁸ whom we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, so that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. ²⁹ For which I also labor, striving according to the working of Him who works in me in power.

⁶ Your right hand, O Jehovah, has become glorious in power. Your right hand, O Jehovah, has dashed the enemy in pieces.

¹⁰ And they saw the God of Israel. And there was under His feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as the essence of the heavens for clearness.

³⁰ And no sin offering, of which any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation for atonement in the sanctuary, shall be eaten. It shall be burned up in the fire.

⁷ Not so, My servant Moses. He is faithful in all My house. ⁸ I will speak with him mouth to mouth, even clearly, and not in dark speeches. And he shall behold the likeness of Jehovah. Why then were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?

²⁵ Today, I will begin to put your dread and your fear upon the nations under the whole heavens; who shall hear report of you, and shall tremble and be in anguish because of you.

⁵ Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as Jehovah my God commanded me, so that you should do so in the land where you go to possess it.

¹⁹ and lest you lift up your eyes to the heavens, and when you see the sun, and the moon, and the stars, all the host of heaven, lest you should be driven to worship them and serve them, which Jehovah your God has allotted to all nations under all the heavens.

³⁹ Therefore, know this day and consider within your heart, that Jehovah is God in Heaven above and on the earth beneath. There is no other.

⁸ He raises up the poor out of the dust; He lifts up the needy from the dunghill to set them among princes; yea, He causes them to inherit a throne of honor; for to Jehovah are the pillars of the earth; and He sets the habitable world on them.

²³ Also, I, far be it from me that I should sin against Jehovah from ceasing to pray for you. But I will teach you the good and the right way.

⁷ And when it was being built, the house was built of stone made ready beforehand. And there was not heard in the house a hammer or an axe, or any iron tool, while it was being built.

¹¹ O Jehovah, Yours is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty. For all in the heavens and in the earth is Yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Jehovah, and You lift up Yourself to all as Head.

²⁰ And David said to all the congregation, Now bless Jehovah your God! And all the congregation blessed Jehovah, the God of their fathers, and bowed and worshiped Jehovah, and bowed to the king.

¹⁵ Behold, He puts no trust in His saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in His sight.

⁵ Look even to the moon, and it shines not; yea, the stars are not pure in His sight;

⁶ Yea, I have set My king on My holy hill, on Zion. ⁷ I will declare the decree of Jehovah. He has said to Me, You are My Son; today I have begotten You.

³ As to the saints in the earth, they are the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

⁹ Therefore My heart is glad, and My glory rejoices; My flesh also shall rest in hope; ¹⁰ For You will not leave My soul in hell; You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption. ¹¹ You will make Me know the way of life; in Your presence is fullness of joys. At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

¹⁴ The secret of Jehovah is with those who fear Him; and He will show them His covenant.

¹⁹ How great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You; You have worked for those who trust in You before the sons of men!

¹ A Psalm of David. A Contemplation. Blessed is the man whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. ² Blessed is the man to whom Jehovah does not charge iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

⁹ For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we shall see light.

² You are the fairest of the sons of men; grace is poured into Your lips; therefore God has blessed You forever. ³ Gird Your sword on Your thigh, O mighty one, with Your glory and Your majesty. ⁴ And ride prosperously in Your majesty, because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and Your right hand shall teach You fearful things. ⁵ Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the King's enemies; peoples fall under You.

⁷ Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

¹³ Those that are planted in the house of Jehovah shall flourish in the courts of our God. ¹⁴ They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flowering;

¹¹ Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

³ He has remembered His mercy and His truth toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of Jehovah.

²⁵ Of old You have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the work of Your hands. ²⁶ They shall perish, but You shall endure; yea, all of them shall become old like a garment; like a robe You shall change them, and they shall be changed; ²⁷ but You are He, and Your years shall have no end.

²¹ Let them praise Jehovah for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the sons of man! ²² And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing!

³ Your people shall be willing in the day of Your power, in holy adornment from the womb of the morning: You have the dew of Your youth.

⁷ Return to your rest, O my soul; for Jehovah has dealt bountifully with you.

⁹⁹ I have more understanding than all my teachers; for Your testimonies are my prayer.

⁵ And those who turn aside to their crooked ways, Jehovah shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity; peace shall be on Israel.

⁴ But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared.

¹⁰ Teach me to do Your will; for You are my God; Your Spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

¹⁸ But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more to the perfect day.

⁵ O simple ones, understand wisdom; and, fools, be of an understanding heart.

²² Jehovah possessed me from the beginning of His way, before His works of old. ²³ I was anointed from everlasting, from the beginning, before the earth ever was.

²⁹ when He gave to the sea its limit that the waters should not pass His command; when He appointed the foundations of the earth; ³⁰ even I was a workman at His side; and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him; ³¹ rejoicing in the world, His earth; and my delight was with the sons of men.

¹ The ordering of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from Jehovah.

⁴ Jehovah has made all for His purpose; yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

⁷ When a man's ways please Jehovah, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

¹⁰ If you faint in the day of trial, your strength is small.

⁹ And more than that, the preacher was wise; he still taught the people knowledge. Yes, he listened, and looked, and set in order many proverbs.

¹⁰ My Beloved is bright and ruddy, standing out among ten thousand.

⁶ For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be on His shoulder; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. ⁷ There is no end of the increase of His government and peace on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it and to establish it with judgment and with justice from now on, even forever. The zeal of Jehovah of Hosts will do this.

⁹ Go up for yourself on the high mountain, bringer of good tidings to Zion. Lift up your voice with strength, O you who bring good tidings to Jerusalem; lift up, do not be afraid. Say to the cities of Judah, Behold your God! ¹⁰ Behold, the Lord Jehovah will come with a strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him. ¹¹ He shall feed His flock like a shepherd; He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those with young. ¹² Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and measured out the heavens with a span? And who has shut up the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?

¹ Behold My Servant, whom I uphold; My Elect, in whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit on Him; He shall bring out judgment to the nations.

¹¹ I, I am Jehovah; and there is none to save besides Me. ¹² I have declared, and have saved, and I have shown, when there was no strange god among you; therefore you are My witnesses, says Jehovah, that I am God. ¹³ Yea, before the day was, I am He; and no one delivers out of My hand; I will work, and who will reverse it?

²¹ This people that I formed for Myself; they shall declare My praise.

⁶ So says Jehovah, the King of Israel, and His redeemer Jehovah of Hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and besides Me there is no God.

²⁴ So says Jehovah, your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb, I am Jehovah who makes all things; who stretches out the heavens alone; who spreads out the earth; who was with Me?

²⁴ He says, Only in Jehovah do I have righteousness and strength; even to Him he comes. And they are ashamed, all who are angry with Him.

²⁴ Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? ²⁵ But so says Jehovah, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the fearful ones shall escape. For I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will save your sons.

¹³ Behold, My Servant shall rule well; He shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.

¹¹ He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul. He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify for many; and He shall bear their iniquities. ¹² Therefore I will divide to Him with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong; because He has poured out His soul to death; and He was counted among the transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for transgressors.

¹⁹ The sun will no more be your light by day; nor the brightness of the moon give light to you; but Jehovah will be to you for everlasting light, and your God your glory. ²⁰ Your sun will no more go down, nor your moon withdraw; for Jehovah will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning will be ended.

¹⁵ And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

¹⁰ To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? Behold, their ears are not circumcised, and they cannot listen. Behold, the Word of Jehovah is to them a reproach; they have no delight in it.

⁶⁶ Pursue and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of Jehovah.

²⁶ And from above the expanse that was over their heads was a likeness like a sapphire stone, the likeness of a throne. And on the likeness of the throne was a likeness looking like a man on it from above. ²⁷ And I saw Him looking like the color of polished bronze, looking like fire all around within it. From the likeness of His loins even upward, and from the likeness of His loins even downward, I saw Him, looking like fire, and it had brightness all around. ²⁸ As the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain looks, so the brightness all around looked. This was how the likeness of the glory of Jehovah looked. And I saw. And I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.

¹⁷ Son of man, I have made you a watchman to the house of Israel. Therefore hear the Word of My mouth, and give them warning from Me. ¹⁸ When I say to the wicked, You shall surely die; and you do not give him warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked one shall die in his iniquity; but I will require his blood at your hand. ¹⁹ Yet if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul. ²⁰ And when the righteous turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and when I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die. Because you have not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. ²¹ But if you warn the righteous so that the righteous does not sin, and if he does not sin, he shall surely live because he is warned; also you have delivered your soul.

¹⁰ Behold the day! Behold, it has come; the encirclement has gone out; the rod has blossomed; pride has budded.

²⁶ When a righteous one turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity and dies in them; for his iniquity that he has done, he shall die.

⁴ then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword does come and take him away, his blood shall be on his own head. ⁵ He heard the sound of the trumpet and did not take warning. His blood shall be on himself. But he who takes warning shall deliver his soul. ⁶ But if the watchman sees the sword coming, and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned; if the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity. But I will require his blood at the watchman's hand. ⁷ And you, son of man, I have set you a watchman to the house of Israel. Therefore you shall hear the Word from My mouth, and warn them from Me. ⁸ When I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die; if you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked one shall die in his iniquity; but I will require his blood at your hand. ⁹ But, if you warn the wicked of his way, to turn from it; if he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity, but you have delivered your soul.

¹⁷ And it shall be the ruler's part to give burnt offerings and food offerings and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all appointed feasts of the house of Israel. He shall prepare the sin offering and the food offering and the burnt offering and the peace offerings, to make atonement for the house of Israel. ¹⁸ So says the Lord Jehovah: In the first month, in the first of the month, you shall take a bull without blemish, a son of the herd, and cleanse the sanctuary. ¹⁹ And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering and put it on the doorposts of the house, and on the four corners of the ledge of the altar, and on the gateposts of the inner court. ²⁰ And so you shall do on the seventh of the month for each man who goes astray, and for the simple. So you shall atone for the house.

²³ I thank You, and praise You, O God of my fathers, who has given me wisdom and might, and have made known to me now what we asked of You. For You have now made known to us the king's matter.

¹³ I saw in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. ¹⁴ And dominion and glory was given Him, and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations and languages, should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

²⁴ Seventy weeks are decreed as to your people and as to your holy city, to finish the transgression and to make an end of sins, and to make atonement for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. ²⁵ Know therefore and understand, that from the going out of the command to restore and to build Jerusalem, to Messiah the Prince, shall be seven weeks, and sixty-two weeks. The street shall be built again, and the wall, even in times of affliction. ²⁶ And after sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself. And the people of the ruler who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. And the end of it shall be with the flood, and ruins are determined, until the end shall be war.

⁴ But you, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, even to the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

³ Then we shall know, if we follow on to know Jehovah. His going out is prepared as the morning; and He shall come to us as the rain, as the latter and former rain to the earth. ⁴ O Ephraim, what shall I do to you? O Judah, what shall I do to you? For your goodness is like a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goes away.

⁵ For all peoples will walk, each one in the name of his god; and we will walk in the name of Jehovah our God forever and ever.

² And you, Bethlehem Ephratah, you being least among the thousands of Judah, out of you He shall come forth to Me, to become Ruler in Israel, He whose goings forth have been from of old, from the days of eternity.

²⁹ Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house and spoil his goods, unless first he binds the strong one, and then he will plunder his house. ³⁰ The one who is not with Me is against Me, and the one who does not gather with Me scatters.

And, behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the world. Amen.

²¹ In that hour Jesus rejoiced in Spirit and said, I thank You, Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the sophisticated and cunning, and have revealed them to babes. Yes, Father, for so it was pleasing before You.

³³ Sell what you have and give alms. Make for yourselves purses which do not become old, an unfailing treasure in Heaven, where no thief comes nor moth corrupts.

²⁴ Strive to enter in at the narrow gate. For I say to you, many will seek to enter in and shall not be able.

Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is coming; and from the seven spirits which are before His throne; ⁵ even from Jesus Christ the faithful Witness, the First-born from the dead and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,

⁸ I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.

¹⁰ Do not at all fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the Devil will cast some of you into prison, so that you may be tried. And you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.

⁴ These are those who were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, as a firstfruit to God and to the Lamb.

¹² Here is the patience of the saints. Here are the ones who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

⁶ And He said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who thirsts I will give of the fountain of the Water of Life freely.
