²⁰ Jehovah rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands, He has repaid me.

¹¹ And my father, behold! Yes, see the skirt of your robe in my hand. For in that I cut off the skirt of your robe, and did not kill you, know and see that there is neither evil nor transgression in my hand, and I have not sinned against you. Yet you are hunting my soul, to take it. ¹² Jehovah shall judge between you and me, and Jehovah shall avenge me of you. But my hand shall not be on you. ¹³ As the proverb of the ancients says, Wickedness proceeds from the wicked. But my hand shall not be on you.

¹⁷ And he said to David, You are more righteous than I. For you have done good to me, and I have rewarded you with evil.

¹⁹ For if a man finds his enemy, will he let him go on his way well? And Jehovah will repay you good for that which you have done to me today. ²⁰ And now, behold, I know that you shall certainly reign, and the kingdom of Israel shall be established in your hand.

³⁰ He shall deliver one not innocent and will deliver by the cleanness of your hands.

³ O Jehovah, my God, if I have done this, if there is iniquity in my hands:

⁸ Jehovah will judge the people. O Jehovah, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity on me.

²⁴ And Jehovah has returned to me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands before His eyes.

⁴ He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to guile, and has not sworn in deceit.

⁶ I will wash my hands in innocency; so I will go around Your altar, O Jehovah,

¹¹ And man will say, Truly, a fruit is to the righteous; truly, there is a God judging in the earth.

¹⁸ The wicked makes a deceitful wage, but one sowing righteousness has a reward of truth.

⁴ Then I said, I have labored in vain; I have spent My strength for nothing, and in vain; yet surely My judgment is with Jehovah, and My work with My God.

¹¹ Behold, Jehovah has made it to be heard to the end of the earth; Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold! Your salvation comes! Behold! His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.

⁴ so that your merciful deeds may be in secret. And your Father seeing in secret Himself will repay you in the open.

⁸ So he planting and he watering are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

²⁶ For such a High Priest was fitting for us: holy, harmless, undefiled, and separated from sinners, and having become higher than the heavens;
