¹ And it happened that the crowd was pressing on Him to hear the Word of God. And He was standing by Lake Gennesaret. ² And He saw two boats standing by the lake, but the fishermen had left them and were washing the nets. ³ And entering into one of the boats, which was Simon's, He asked him to put out a little from the land. And sitting down, He taught the crowd from the boat. ⁴ And as He quit speaking, He said to Simon, Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a haul. ⁵ And answering, Simon said to Him, Master, laboring all through the night we took nothing. But at Your word I will let down the net. ⁶ And doing this, they netted a great multitude of fish; and their net was being torn. ⁷ And they signaled the partners, those in the other boat, to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they were sinking. ⁸ And seeing, Simon Peter fell at the knees of Jesus, saying, Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord. ⁹ For astonishment took hold of him, and all those with him, at the haul of fish which they took; ¹⁰ and in the same way also, James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, Do not fear. From now on you will be taking men alive. ¹¹ And bringing the boats down onto the land, forsaking all things, they followed Him. ¹² And it happened, in His being in one of the cities, even behold, a man full of leprosy! And seeing Jesus, falling on his face, he begged Him, saying, Lord, if You choose, You are able to cleanse me. ¹³ And stretching out the hand, He touched him, saying, I will! Be cleansed! And instantly the leprosy departed from him. ¹⁴ And He charged him to tell no one. But going away, show yourself to the priest and offer concerning your cleansing, as Moses commanded, for a testimony to them. ¹⁵ But the word about Him spread even more. And large crowds were coming to hear and to be healed from their infirmities by Him. ¹⁶ But He was drawing back in a deserted place, and praying. ¹⁷ And it happened on one of the days, even He was teaching. And Pharisees and teachers of the Law were sitting by, who were coming out of every village of Galilee and Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was there, for the curing of them. ¹⁸ And, behold, men carrying on a cot a man who was paralyzed. And they sought to bring him in, and to lay him before Him. ¹⁹ And not finding a way through which they might bring him in through the crowd, going up on the housetop, they let him down through the tiles with the cot, into the midst, in front of Jesus. ²⁰ And seeing their faith, He said to him, Man, your sins have been forgiven you. ²¹ And the scribes and Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who is able to forgive sins except God alone? ²² But knowing their thoughts, answering Jesus said to them, Why do you reason in your hearts? ²³ Which is easier, to say, Your sins have been forgiven you, or to say, Rise up and walk? ²⁴ But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on the earth to forgive sins, He said to the paralytic, I say to you, Rise up, and take your cot and go to your house. ²⁵ And rising up at once before them, taking up that on which he was lying, he went to his house glorifying God. ²⁶ And amazement seized all, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We saw wonderful things today. ²⁷ And after these things, He went out and saw a tax collector named Levi, sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, Follow Me! ²⁸ And leaving all, rising up he followed Him. ²⁹ And Levi made a great feast for Him in his house. And there was a crowd of many tax collectors reclining, and of others who were with them. ³⁰ And their scribes and the Pharisees murmured at His disciples, saying, Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners? ³¹ And answering, Jesus said to them, Those who are sound have no need of a physician, but those who have illness. ³² I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. ³³ But they said to Him, Why do John's disciples fast often, and make prayers, and likewise those of the Pharisees, but those close to You eat and drink? ³⁴ But He said to them, You are not able to make the sons of the bridechamber fast while the bridegroom is with them. ³⁵ But days will come, even when the bridegroom is taken away from them, then in those days they will fast. ³⁶ And He also told a parable to them: No one puts a piece of a new garment on an old garment; otherwise both the new will tear, and the old does not match the piece from the new. ³⁷ And no one puts new wine into old skins; otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be poured out, and the skins will perish. ³⁸ But new wine is to be put into new skins, and both are preserved together. ³⁹ And no one drinking old wine immediately desires new; for he says, The old is better.

¹¹ And the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down and shall reach on the shoulder of the Sea of Chinnereth eastward.

¹⁷ and the Arabah, the Jordan and its border, from Chinnereth even to the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, under the Slopes of Pisgah eastward.

³ and from the Arabah to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and to the sea of the Arabah, even the Salt Sea, eastward, the way to Beth-jeshimoth; and on the south under the Slopes of Pisgah;

¹⁸ And walking beside the sea of Galilee, Jesus saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew casting a net into the sea; for they were fishers. ¹⁹ And He says to them, Come after Me, and I will make you fishers of men. ²⁰ And leaving the nets, they immediately followed Him. ²¹ And going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and his brother John in the boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets. And He called them. ²² And at once leaving the boat and their father, they followed Him.

¹² But from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent seize it.

³⁴ And having passed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret.

¹⁶ And walking along beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a small net in the sea; for they were fishers. ¹⁷ And Jesus said to them, Come after Me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. ¹⁸ And leaving their nets, they immediately followed Him. ¹⁹ And going forward from there a little, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. And they were in the boat mending the nets. ²⁰ And at once He called them. And leaving their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, they went after Him.

⁹ And He spoke to His disciples that a small boat should stay near to Him because of the crowd, that they might not press upon Him.

²⁴ And He went with him. And a large crowd followed Him and pressed on Him.

⁵³ And crossing over, they came into the land of Gennesaret and drew to shore.

⁴⁵ And Jesus said, Who was touching Me? And all having denied, Peter and those with Him said, Master, the crowds press on You and jostle. And do You say, Who was touching Me?

¹ At which time the myriads of the crowd being gathered together, so as to trample on one another, He began to say to His disciples first, Take heed to yourselves of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

²¹ And going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and his brother John in the boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets. And He called them.

¹⁹ And going forward from there a little, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. And they were in the boat mending the nets.

¹⁸ And walking beside the sea of Galilee, Jesus saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew casting a net into the sea; for they were fishers.

¹ And going out from the house in that day, Jesus sat down by the sea. ² And great crowds were gathered to Him, so that boarding the boat, He sat down. And all the crowd stood on the shore.

¹ And again He began to teach by the sea. And a large crowd was gathered to Him, so that He entered into the boat in order to sit in the sea. And all the crowd were on the land toward the sea. ² And He taught them many things in parables, and said to them in His teaching:

⁴¹ This one first found his own brother Simon and tells him, We have found the Messiah (which being translated is, the Christ). ⁴² And he led him to Jesus. And looking at him, Jesus said, You are Simon the son of Jonah; you shall be called Cephas (which translated is Peter).

² And at dawn, He again arrived into the temple; and all the people came to Him. And sitting down, He taught them.

²⁷ But that we may not offend them, going to the sea, throw in a hook and take the first fish coming up. And opening its mouth, you will find a stater. Taking that, give to them for you and Me.

⁶ And He said to them, Cast the net into the right side of the boat and you will find.

¹⁰ And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, Go, and you shall wash seven times in the Jordan. And your flesh shall return to you, and you shall he clean. ¹¹ And Naaman was angry, and went on, and said, Behold, I said, He will certainly come out to me and will stand and call on the name of Jehovah his God, and will wave his hand over the place, and recover the leper. ¹² Are not Abanah and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Shall I not wash in them and he clean? And he turned and went on in fury. ¹³ And his servants came near and spoke to him, and said, My father, if the prophet had spoken a great thing to you would you not do it ? How much rather then when he says to you, Wash, and be clean? ¹⁴ And he went down and dipped in the Jordan seven times, according to the word of the man of God. And his flesh returned like the flesh of a little boy, and he was clean.

¹ A Song of Ascents, for Solomon. If Jehovah does not build the house, they who build it labor in vain; if Jehovah does not keep the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. ² It is in vain for you to rise early, sit up late, to eat the bread of toils; for so He gives His beloved sleep.

⁴ And He said to me, Prophesy to these bones and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of Jehovah: ⁵ So says the Lord Jehovah to these bones: Behold, I cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live,; ⁶ and I will put on you sinews and will bring flesh on you and spread skin over you and put breath in you, and you shall live. And you shall know that I am Jehovah. ⁷ So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a noise. And, behold, a shaking! And the bones drew near, a bone to its bone.

¹¹ Then He said to me, Son of man, these bones are all the house of Israel. Behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is perished; we are cut off to ourselves. ¹² So prophesy and say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, O My people, and I will bring you to the land of Israel.

⁴⁶ And why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and do not do what I say? ⁴⁷ Everyone coming to Me and hearing My words, and doing them, I will show you to whom he is like: ⁴⁸ He is like a man building a house, who dug and deepened, and laid a foundation on the rock. And a flood having occurred, the stream burst against that house and could not shake it, for it had been founded on the rock.

²⁴ And coming up they awakened Him, saying, Master! Master! We are perishing! And being aroused, He rebuked the wind and the roughness of the water; and they ceased, and there was a calm.

³³ And it happened in their parting from Him, Peter said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here. And, Let us make three tents, one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah, not knowing what he said.

⁴⁹ And answering, John said, Master, we saw someone casting out demons on Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow with us.

¹³ And they lifted their voice, saying, Jesus, Master, pity us.

⁵ His mother said to the servants, Whatever He says to you, do.

¹⁴ You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.

³ Simon Peter said to them, I am going out to fish. They said to him, We also are coming with you. They went and entered into the boat at once. And in that night, they caught nothing.

³ And he said, Go, beg vessels for yourself from outside, from your neighbors, empty vessels. Do not let them be few. ⁴ And you shall go in and shut the door on you, and on your sons, and shall pour out into all these vessels. And you shall set aside the full ones. ⁵ And she left him, and shut the door on her and on her sons. They carried to her, and she poured out. ⁶ And it happened when the vessels were full, she said to her son, Bring another vessel to me. And he said to her, There is no other vessel; and the oil stopped. ⁷ And she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and repay your loan. And you and your sons shall live from the rest.

⁶ Sow your seed in the morning, and do not rest your hand until evening; for you do not know what shall be blessed, this or that; or whether they both shall be good as one.

⁶ And He said to them, Cast the net into the right side of the boat and you will find. ⁷ Then they cast, and they no longer had the strength to draw, from the multitude of the fish. Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, It is the Lord. Then hearing that it is the Lord, Simon Peter girded on his coat (for he was naked) and threw himself into the sea. ⁸ And the other disciples came in the little boat, for they were not far from the land, only about two hundred cubits, dragging the net of the fish. ⁹ Then when they went up on the land, they saw a coal fire lying, and a fish lying on it, and bread. ¹⁰ Jesus said to them, Bring from the little fish which you caught now. ¹¹ Simon Peter went up and dragged the net onto the land, full of big fish, a hundred and fifty three. And though being so many, the net was not torn.

⁴¹ Then those who gladly welcomed his words were baptized. And about three thousand souls were added that day.

⁴ But many of those hearing the Word believed; and the number of the men became about five thousand.

⁵⁸ So that, my beloved brothers, you be firm, immovable, abounding in the work of the Lord always, knowing that your labor is not without fruit in the Lord.

⁹ But we should not weaken in doing good, for in due time we shall reap, if we do not faint.

⁵ When you see the ass of one who hates you crouching under its burden, you shall refrain from leaving it to him; you shall surely loose it from him.

²⁴ A man of friends may be broken up, but there is a Lover who sticks closer than a brother.

²⁵ And Barnabas went out to Tarsus to seek Saul.

² that you may receive her in the Lord, as is worthy of the saints, and may assist her in whatever thing she may need of you. For she also became a helper of many, and of myself. ³ Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus, ⁴ who laid down their neck for my soul, to whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the nations.

² Bear one another's burdens, and so you will fulfill the law of Christ.

³ And I also ask you, true yoke-fellow, help those who struggled along with me and with Clement in the gospel, and the rest, fellow-workers with me, whose names are in the Scroll of Life.

¹⁹ And they said to Moses, You speak with us, and we will hear. And let us not speak with God, that we not die.

²² And Manoah said to his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God.

²⁰ And the men of Beth-shemesh said, Who is able to stand before Jehovah, this holy God? And to whom shall He go up from us?

⁹ And David feared Jehovah on that day, and said, How shall the ark of Jehovah come to me?

¹⁸ And she said to Elijah, What have I to do with you, O man of God? Have you come to me to cause my iniquity to be remembered, and to put my son to death?

⁴ Behold, I am vile! What shall I answer You? I will put my hand to my mouth.

⁵ I have heard of You by hearing of the ear, but now my eye has seen You; ⁶ Therefore, I despise myself, and I have repented on dust and ashes.

⁵ Then I said, Woe is me! For I am cut off; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I live amongst a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, Jehovah of Hosts.

¹⁶ And, behold, one in form as the sons of men touched my lips. And I opened my mouth and spoke and said to him who stood before me, O lord, my pangs have come over me because of the vision, and I have no strength left. ¹⁷ For how can the servant of my lord speak this with this my lord? For as for me, there is no power left in me; yea, there is no breath left in me.

¹¹ And having come into the house, they saw the child with His mother Mary. And falling down, they worshiped Him. And opening their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold and frankincense and myrrh.

⁸ And answering, the centurion said, Lord, I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof, but only speak a word and my boy will be healed.

⁶ And hearing, the disciples fell on their face and were greatly terrified.

³² Then Mary, when she came where Jesus was, seeing Him, she fell at His feet, saying to Him, Lord, if You were here, my brother would not have died.

²⁵ And as Peter was coming in, meeting him, Cornelius fell at his feet and worshiped. ²⁶ But Peter lifted him up, saying, Stand up! I myself am also a man.

¹² For now we see through a mirror in dimness, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will fully know even as I also was fully known.

¹⁷ And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet, as dead. And He put His right hand on me, saying to me, Do not fear. I am the First and the Last,

⁸ And I, John, was the one seeing and hearing these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel showing me these things. ⁹ And he said to me, Behold! Stop! For I am your fellow-slave, and of your brothers the prophets, and of the ones keeping the words of this Book. Do worship to God.

⁶ You made him rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all under his feet,

⁸ the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, all that pass through the sea.

⁶ For he did not know what to say, for they were very fearful.

³² And they were astonished at His doctrine, because His word was with authority.

³⁶ And astonishment came on all. And they spoke with one another, saying, What word is this, that He commands the unclean spirits with authority and power, and they come out?

⁹ And it shall be, every soul that lives, which swarms in every place, there where the two torrents go, that soul shall live. And there shall be very many fish, because these waters shall come there. And they shall be healed. And all shall live there where the torrent goes. ¹⁰ And it will be, the fishermen shall stand on it; from En-gedi even to En-eglaim, a spreading place for nets shall be there; their fish shall be by its kind, like the fish of the Great Sea, very many.

¹⁹ And He says to them, Come after Me, and I will make you fishers of men.

⁴⁷ Again, the kingdom of Heaven is compared to a drag net thrown into the sea, and gathering together of every kind;

²⁷ But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, Be comforted! I AM! Do not fear.

²⁰ Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came near to Him, along with her sons, worshipping, and asking something from Him.

¹⁷ And Jesus said to them, Come after Me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

⁷ And they signaled the partners, those in the other boat, to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they were sinking.

¹⁴ Simon, whom He also named Peter; and his brother Andrew; James and John; Philip and Bartholomew;

⁴ And they were all filled of the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave ability to them to speak.

²³ If any asks about Titus, he is my partner and a fellow worker for you; or about our brothers, they are messengers of the churches, the glory of Christ.

²⁰ And leaving the nets, they immediately followed Him.

³⁷ He that loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he that loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.

²⁷ Then answering, Peter said to Him, Behold, we left all things and followed You. What then shall be to us?

¹⁸ And leaving their nets, they immediately followed Him. ¹⁹ And going forward from there a little, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. And they were in the boat mending the nets. ²⁰ And at once He called them. And leaving their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, they went after Him. ²¹ And they passed along into Capernaum. And entering into the synagogue, at once He taught on the sabbaths. ²² And they were astonished at His doctrine, for He was teaching them as having authority, and not as the scribes. ²³ And a man with an unclean spirit was in their synagogue. And he cried out, ²⁴ saying, What is to us and to You, Jesus, Nazarene? Have You come to destroy us? I know You, who You are, the Holy One of God. ²⁵ And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Be quiet, and come out of him.

²¹ And looking at him, Jesus loved him, and said to him, One thing is lacking to you. Go, sell what things you have, and give to the poor. And you will have treasure in Heaven. And come, follow Me, taking up the cross.

²⁹ But answering, Jesus said, Truly I say to you, There is no one who forsook house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for My sake and the gospel, ³⁰ that will not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the coming age, eternal life.

²⁸ And leaving all, rising up he followed Him.

²⁸ And Peter said, Behold, we left all and followed You. ²⁹ And He said to them, Truly I say to you, There is no one who has left house, or parents, or brothers, or wife, or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, ³⁰ who shall not receive many times more in this time, and in the age that is coming, everlasting life.

⁷ But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss because of Christ. ⁸ But, nay, rather I also count all things to be loss because of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them to be trash, that I might gain Christ

¹⁴ Is anything too difficult for Jehovah? At the appointed time I will return to you, at the time of life, and there will be a son to Sarah.

⁶ And Jehovah said to him again, Now put your hand into your bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom, and he brought it out, and, behold, his hand was leprous like snow.

²⁴ And fire came out from before Jehovah and consumed the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. And all the people saw, and cried aloud, and fell on their faces.

¹ And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, ² When a man has a rising in the skin of his flesh, or a scab, or a bright spot, and it shall become in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy, then he shall be brought in to Aaron the priest, or to one of his sons the priests. ³ And the priest shall look upon the plague in the skin of the flesh; and if the hair in the plague has turned white, and the appearance of the plague is deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy, and the priest shall look upon him and shall pronounce him unclean. ⁴ And if the bright spot is white in the skin of his flesh, and its appearance is not deeper than the skin, and its hair has not turned white, then the priest shall shut up the plague seven days. ⁵ And he priest shall look on him on the seventh day, and, behold, if the plague stays in its appearance, and the plague has not spread in the skin, then the priest shall shut him up seven more days. ⁶ And the priest shall look upon him again the seventh day; and, behold, if the plague has become dim, and the plague has not spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; it is a scab, and he shall wash his garments and shall be clean. ⁷ But if the scab spreads greatly in the skin, after he has been seen by the priest for his cleansing, then he shall be seen a second time by the priest. ⁸ And the priest shall look, and, behold, if the scab has spread in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is leprosy. ⁹ When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought in to the priest. ¹⁰ And the priest shall look, and, behold, if a white rising is in the skin, and it has turned the hair white, and a living flesh is in the swelling, ¹¹ it is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean; he shall not shut him up, for he is unclean. ¹² And if the leprosy breaks out greatly on the skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of the one who has the plague, from his head even to his feet, to all that appears to the priest's eyes, ¹³ then the priest shall look, and behold, if the leprosy has covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce the plagued one clean; it has all turned white; he is clean. ¹⁴ And in the day living flesh is seen in him, he is unclean.

¹⁰ And the cloud turned away from the tent. And, behold Miriam was leprous as snow! And Aaron turned toward Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous! ¹¹ And Aaron said to Moses, Oh my lord, I beg you, do not lay sin upon us, by which we have done foolishly, and by which we have sinned. ¹² I beg you, do not let her be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother's womb.

⁸ Be on guard in the plague of leprosy, that you watch closely and do according to all that the Levitical priests shall teach you. As I commanded them, so you shall be careful to do.

¹⁴ And He said, No, for I now come as the Commander of the army of Jehovah. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped. And he said to Him, What does my Lord speak to His slave?

³⁹ And all the people saw, and fell on their faces, and said, Jehovah, He is the God; Jehovah, He is the God!

¹ And Naaman the commander of the army of the king of Syria was a great and exalted man before his lord, for Jehovah had given deliverance to Syria by him. And he was a brave warrior, but leprous.

²⁷ Yea, the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you, and to your seed forever. And he went out from him as leprous as snow.

³ And four men, lepers, were at the gate entrance. And they said to one another, Why should we sit here until we die?

¹⁶ And David lifted up his eyes and saw the angel of Jehovah standing between the earth and the heavens, and his sword drawn in his hand, stretched out over Jerusalem; and David and the elders fell on their faces, covered with sackcloth.

¹⁹ And Uzziah was angry, and in his hand was a censer to burn incense; and when he was angry with the priests, the leprosy rose in his forehead, before the priests, in the house of Jehovah, beside the altar of incense. ²⁰ And Azariah the head priest and all the priests turned toward him, and behold, he was leprous in his forehead. And they hurried him from there, and he also himself hurried to leave, for Jehovah had touched him.

¹⁵ And call on Me in the day of distress; and I will save you; and you shall glorify Me.

¹⁵ He shall call on Me and I will answer Him; I will be with Him in distress; I will rescue Him and honor Him.

² And behold, coming up, a leper worshiped Him, saying, Lord, If You will, You are able to cleanse me. ³ And stretching out His hand, Jesus touched him, saying, I will! Be cleansed! And instantly his leprosy was cleansed. ⁴ And Jesus said to him, See that you tell no one, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift which Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.

²⁸ And coming into the house, the blind ones came near to Him. And Jesus said to them, Do you believe that I am able to do this? And they said to Him, Yes, Lord.

⁶ And Jesus being in Bethany, in Simon the leper's house,

⁴⁰ And a leper came to Him, begging Him, and falling on his knees to Him, and saying to Him, If You will, You are able to make me clean. ⁴¹ And being moved with pity, reaching out the hand, Jesus touched him, and said to him, I am willing. Be made clean! ⁴² And He having spoken, instantly the leprosy departed from him, and he was made clean. ⁴³ And strictly warning him, He at once put him out, ⁴⁴ and said to him, See, tell no one a thing, but go show yourself to the priest, and offer what Moses directed concerning your cleansing, for a testimony to them. ⁴⁵ But going out he began to proclaim much, and to spread about the matter, so that He no longer could openly enter into a city. But He was outside in deserted places. And they came to Him from every quarter.

²³ And he begged Him very much, saying, My daughter is at the last end. I pray that You will come and lay hands on her, that she may be cured and live.

²² And often it threw him both into fire and into water, that it might destroy him. But if You are able to do anything, help us, having pity on us. ²³ And Jesus said to him, If you are able to believe, all things are possible to those believing. ²⁴ And immediately crying out, the father of the child said with tears, Lord, I believe! Help my unbelief!

¹² And He entering into a certain village, ten leprous men met Him, who stood afar off. ¹³ And they lifted their voice, saying, Jesus, Master, pity us.

¹⁶ And he fell on his face at His feet, thanking Him. And he was a Samaritan.

²⁵ From this also He is able to save to perfection those who come to God through Him, ever living to intercede on their behalf.

³ then God said, Let light be! And there was light.

⁹ And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be collected to one place, and let the dry land appear. And it was so.

¹⁰ And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, Go, and you shall wash seven times in the Jordan. And your flesh shall return to you, and you shall he clean.

¹⁴ And he went down and dipped in the Jordan seven times, according to the word of the man of God. And his flesh returned like the flesh of a little boy, and he was clean.

⁹ For He spoke, and it came into being; He commanded, and it stood fast.

²⁵ Then I will sprinkle clean waters on you, and you shall be clean. I will cleanse you from all your defilement and from all your idols. ²⁶ And I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give to you a heart of flesh. ²⁷ And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you shall keep My judgments and do them .

²⁹ I will also save you from all your defilements, and I will call for grain and increase it, and I will not put a famine on you.

⁴ I will heal their backslidings; I will love them freely; for My anger has turned away from him.

²⁹ Then He touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith let it be to you. ³⁰ And their eyes were opened. And Jesus strictly ordered them, saying, See, let no one know.

³⁹ And standing over her, He rebuked the fever; and it left her. And rising up instantly, she served them.

⁵⁴ But putting all outside, and taking hold of her hand, He called out, saying, Child, rise up! ⁵⁵ And her spirit returned, and she rose up immediately. And He ordered something to eat be given to her.

⁵⁰ Jesus said to him, Go! Your son lives. And the man believed the word which Jesus said to him, and went away. ⁵¹ But already, as he was going down, his slaves met him and reported, saying, Your child lives. ⁵² He then asked from them the hour in which he had gotten better. And they said to him, Yesterday, at the seventh hour, the fever left him. ⁵³ Then the father knew that it was at that hour in which Jesus said to him, Your son lives. And he himself, and his whole household, believed.

² When a man has a rising in the skin of his flesh, or a scab, or a bright spot, and it shall become in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy, then he shall be brought in to Aaron the priest, or to one of his sons the priests.

² This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing, that he shall be brought to the priest. ³ And the priest shall go out to the outside of the camp. And the priest shall look; and, behold, if the plague of leprosy is healed in the leper, ⁴ then the priest shall command, and he shall take for him who is to be cleansed two clean living birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop. ⁵ And the priest shall command, and he shall kill the one bird on an earthen vessel, over running water; ⁶ he shall take the living bird, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the slain bird, over the running water. ⁷ And he shall sprinkle on him who is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean. And he shall send out the living bird into the open field. ⁸ And he who is to be cleansed shall wash his garments, and shall shave all his hair, and shall bathe with water, and shall be clean. And afterwards he shall come into the camp, and shall live on the outside of his tent seven days. ⁹ And it shall be on the seventh day, he shall shave all his hair, his head, and his beard, and his eyebrows; he shall even shave all his hair. And he shall wash his garments, and shall bathe his flesh with water, and shall be clean. ¹⁰ And on the eighth day he shall take two male lambs, perfect ones, and one ewe lamb, daughter of a year, a perfect one, and three tenth parts of flour for a food offering, mixed with oil, and one log of oil. ¹¹ And the priest who is cleansing, and the man who is to be cleansed, shall stand with them before Jehovah, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. ¹² And the priest shall take the one male lamb and shall bring it near for a guilt offering, and the log of oil, and shall wave them as a wave offering before Jehovah. ¹³ And he shall kill the lamb in the place where he killed the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place. For like the sin offering, the guilt offering belongs to the priest; it is most holy. ¹⁴ And the priest shall take of the blood of the guilt offering; and the priest shall put on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot. ¹⁵ And the priest shall take of the log of oil and shall pour on the left palm of the priest. ¹⁶ And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil on his left palm and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before Jehovah. ¹⁷ And of the rest of the oil on his palm, the priest shall put on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the blood of the guilt offering; ¹⁸ and the rest of the oil on the palm of the priest, he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed. And the priest shall make atonement for him before Jehovah. ¹⁹ And the priest shall make a sin offering, and shall atone for him who is to be cleansed from his uncleanness. And afterwards he shall slaughter the burnt offering; ²⁰ and the priest shall offer the burnt offering, and the food offering, on the altar; and the priest shall make atonement for him; and he shall be clean. ²¹ And if he is poor, and his hand is not able to reach these things, then he shall take one lamb as a guilt offering, for a wave offering, to atone for himself, and one tenth part of flour mixed with oil for a food offering, and a log of oil, ²² and two turtledoves, or two young doves, which his hand can reach; and one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering. ²³ And he shall bring them in to the priest on the eighth day for his cleansing, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before Jehovah. ²⁴ And the priest shall take the lamb of the guilt offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them as a wave offering before Jehovah; ²⁵ and he shall kill the lamb of the guilt offering; and the priest shall take of the blood of the guilt offering, and he shall put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot. ²⁶ And the priest shall pour the oil on the left palm of the priest; ²⁷ and the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger of the oil on his palm, seven times before Jehovah. ²⁸ And the priest shall put of the oil on his palm on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of the right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the guilt offering. ²⁹ And the rest of the oil on the priest's palm he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, to atone for him, before Jehovah. ³⁰ And he shall offer one of the turtledoves, or of the young doves, from that which he is able to reach; ³¹ that which his hand has reached out to, the one a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering, besides the food offering. And the priest shall make atonement for him who is to be cleansed before Jehovah. ³² This is the law of him in whom is a plague of leprosy whose hand could not reach to his cleansing.

⁴ And Jesus said to him, See that you tell no one, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift which Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.

³⁰ And their eyes were opened. And Jesus strictly ordered them, saying, See, let no one know.

¹⁸ And also you will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations.

¹⁶ and warned them that they should not make Him manifest.

⁴⁴ and said to him, See, tell no one a thing, but go show yourself to the priest, and offer what Moses directed concerning your cleansing, for a testimony to them.

¹¹ And as many as will not receive you, nor hear from you, having gone out from there, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony to them. Truly I say to you, it will be more bearable for Sodom or Gomorrah in Judgment Day than for that city.

⁵ And as many as may not receive you, going out from that city even shake off the dust from your feet, for a testimony against them.

¹⁴ And seeing them, He said to them, Going, show yourselves to the priests. And it happened in their going they were cleansed.

³³ The fear of Jehovah is instruction in wisdom, and before honor is humility.

²³ And Jesus went around all Galilee teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every one of the illnesses among the people. ²⁴ And the report of Him went out into all Syria. And they brought to Him all the ones having illness, suffering various diseases and torments, also those having been demon-possessed, and those having been moonstruck, and paralytics; and He healed them. ²⁵ And many crowds followed Him from Galilee and Decapolis, and Jerusalem, and Judea, and beyond the Jordan.

²⁶ And this report went out into all that land.

³⁰ And great crowds came to Him, having with them lame ones, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others. And they flung them down at the feet of Jesus. And He healed them; ³¹ so that the crowds marveled, seeing the dumb speaking, the maimed sound, the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they glorified the God of Israel.

²⁸ And His fame went out at once into all the Galilean neighborhood.

⁴⁵ But going out he began to proclaim much, and to spread about the matter, so that He no longer could openly enter into a city. But He was outside in deserted places. And they came to Him from every quarter.

⁷ And Jesus withdrew to the sea with His disciples; and a great multitude from Galilee and from Judea followed Him,

²⁵ And great crowds came together to Him. And turning, He said to them,

² And a great crowd followed Him, for they saw His miracles which He did on the sick ones.

²⁵ Likewise, also the good works are plain beforehand, and those otherwise cannot be hidden.

²³ And having dismissed the crowds, He went up into the mountain alone to pray. And evening coming on, He was there alone.

³⁵ And rising up quite early in the night, He went out and went away into a deserted place. And He was praying there. ³⁶ And Simon and those with him searched for Him.

⁴⁶ And taking leave of them, He went away to the mountain to pray.

¹² And it happened in these days, He went out into the mountain to pray. And He was spending the night in prayer to God.

¹⁵ Then knowing that they were about to come and seize Him, that they might make Him king, Jesus withdrew again to the mountain alone by Himself.

⁵ The blind receive sight, and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear; the dead are raised, and the poor are given the gospel. Isa. 61:1

¹ Then the scribes and Pharisees came to Jesus from Jerusalem, saying,

²² And coming down from Jerusalem, the scribes said, He has Beelzebub; and he casts out demons by the ruler of the demons.

³⁰ And knowing instantly within Himself that power had gone forth out of Him, turning in the crowd, Jesus said, Who touched My garments?

¹ And the Pharisees were assembled to Him, also some of the scribes, coming from Jerusalem.

¹⁸ they will take up snakes; and if they drink anything deadly, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will be well.

⁴⁶ And it happened after three days they found Him in the temple sitting in the midst of the teachers, even hearing them and questioning them.

²¹ And the scribes and Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who is able to forgive sins except God alone?

³⁰ And their scribes and the Pharisees murmured at His disciples, saying, Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?

¹⁹ And all the crowd sought to touch Him, because power went out from Him and healed all.

³⁰ But the Pharisees and the lawyers set aside God's counsel as to themselves, not being baptized by him.

⁴⁶ But Jesus said, Someone touched Me, for I knew power had gone out from Me.

⁵² Woe to you, lawyers! Because you took the key of knowledge; you yourselves did not enter, and you kept out the ones entering. ⁵³ And as He was saying these things to them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to be terribly angry, and to draw Him out concerning many things, ⁵⁴ lying in ambush for Him, and seeking to catch something out of His mouth that they might accuse Him.

² And the Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, This one receives sinners and eats with them.

²¹ But the one doing the truth comes to the Light, that his works may be revealed, that they exist, having been worked in God.

³⁰ in the extending of Your hand for healing and miracles and wonders to happen through the name of Your holy child Jesus.

¹¹ And God did uncommon works of power through the hands of Paul,

² And, behold! They were bringing a paralytic lying on a cot to Him. And seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, Be comforted, child. Your sins have been forgiven you. ³ And, behold, some of the scribes said within themselves, This one blasphemes. ⁴ And seeing their thoughts, Jesus said, Why do you think evil in your hearts? ⁵ For what is easier, to say, Your sins have been forgiven you; or to say, Rise up and walk? ⁶ But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins, then He said to the paralytic, Rising up, lift up your cot and go to your house. ⁷ And rising up, he went away to his house. ⁸ And seeing, the crowds marveled, and they glorified God who gave such authority to men.

³ And they came to Him carrying a paralytic, being borne by four. ⁴ And not being able to draw near to Him, due to the crowd, they unroofed the roof where He was. And digging through, they lowered the cot on which the paralytic was lying. ⁵ And seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, Child, your sins are forgiven to you. ⁶ But some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, ⁷ Why does this one speak blasphemies this way? Who is able to forgive sins, except One, God? ⁸ And instantly knowing in His spirit that they reasoned this way within themselves, Jesus said to them, Why do you reason these things in your hearts? ⁹ Which is easier? To say to the paralytic, Your sins are forgiven to you, or to say, Rise up and take your cot and walk? ¹⁰ But that you may know that the Son of man has authority to forgive sins on the earth, He said to the paralytic, ¹¹ I say to you, Rise up and take up your cot and go to your house. ¹² And at once he rose up. And taking his cot, he went out before all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, Never did we see it this way.

⁵ But a certain man was there, being in infirmity thirty eight years. ⁶ Seeing him lying, and knowing that he had already spent much time, Jesus said to him, Do you desire to become well?

³³ And he found there a certain man named Aeneas who had been lying on a mattress eight years, who was paralyzed.

⁸ When you build a new house, then you shall make a guard rail for your roof, so that you do not put blood on your house if someone falls from it.

² And it happened at evening time, David rose up from his bed and walked up and down on the roof of the king's house. And he saw from the roof a woman bathing. And the woman was very good of form.

¹³ And the houses of Jerusalem and the houses of the kings of Judah shall be defiled as the place of Tophet, because of all the roofs of the houses on which they have burned incense to all the host of the heavens, and have poured out drink offerings to other gods.

²⁷ What I say to you in the darkness, speak in the light. And what you hear in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.

¹⁷ the one on the housetop, let him not come down to take anything out of his house;

⁴ And not being able to draw near to Him, due to the crowd, they unroofed the roof where He was. And digging through, they lowered the cot on which the paralytic was lying.

¹² And He said, Do not lay your hand on the boy, nor do anything to him. For now I know that you are a God-fearer, and you have not withheld your son, your only one, from Me.

⁷ For we are consumed by Your anger, and we are troubled by Your wrath. ⁸ You have set our iniquities before You, our secret sins in the light of Your face.

¹⁷ Fools are afflicted from the way of their rebellion, and from their iniquities; ¹⁸ their soul hates every food; and they touch the gates of death;

¹⁷ Behold, for peace was bitter to me, most bitter; but You loved my soul from the pit of destruction; You have cast all my sins behind Your back.

² And, behold! They were bringing a paralytic lying on a cot to Him. And seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, Be comforted, child. Your sins have been forgiven you.

⁵ And seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, Child, your sins are forgiven to you.

⁴⁸ And He said to her, Your sins are forgiven.

²⁵ and because He had no need that anyone should witness concerning man, for He knew what was in man.

¹⁴ After these things, Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, Behold, you have become well, sin no more that a worse thing not happen to you.

²³ who having come, and seeing the grace of God, rejoiced. And he exhorted all with purpose of heart to abide near the Lord.

⁹ This one heard Paul speaking, who, looking intently at him, and seeing that he had faith to be cured,

¹⁰ But to whom you forgive anything, I also. For also if I have forgiven anything, of whom I have forgiven it, it is for you, in Christ's person,

¹³ bearing with one another and forgiving yourselves, if anyone has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also you should forgive .

¹⁸ But someone will say, You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith out of my works.

¹⁴ Is any among you sick? Let him call the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. ¹⁵ And the prayer of faith will cure those being sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he may have committed sin, it will be forgiven him.

⁶ And Jehovah passed by before his face and called out: Jehovah! Jehovah God! Merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and great in goodness and truth, ⁷ keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and not leaving entirely unpunished, visiting the iniquity of fathers on sons, and on sons of sons, to the third and to the fourth generation.

¹⁶ And he who blasphemes the name of Jehovah shall certainly be put to death. All the congregation shall certainly cast stones at him. As to the alien, so to a native, when he blasphemes the Name, he is to be put to death.

¹⁰ And set two men, sons of worthlessness, across from him; and they shall testify of him, saying, You have cursed God and the king. And they shall bring him out and stone him; and he shall die. ¹¹ And the men of his city, the elders and the nobles who lived in his city, did as Jezebel had sent to them, as was written in the letters that she sent to them. ¹² They proclaimed a fast, and made Naboth to sit at the head of the people. ¹³ And two men, sons of worthlessness, came in and sat across from him. And the men of worthlessness testified of him before the people, even Naboth, saying, Naboth has cursed God and the king. And they took him out to the outside of the city, and stoned him with stones. And he died. ¹⁴ And they sent to Jezebel, saying, Naboth has been stoned and is dead.

⁵ I confessed my sin to You, and I have not hidden my iniquity; I said, I will confess over my transgression to Jehovah; and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

⁵ Let them be as chaff before the wind, and the Angel of Jehovah driving away.

³ who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases;

⁴ But forgiveness is with You that You may be feared.

¹⁸ Come now and let us reason together, says Jehovah: Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red as the crimson, they shall be like wool.

²⁵ I, even I, am He who blots out your trespasses for My sake; and I will not remember your sins.

²² I have blotted out your transgressions like a thick cloud; and your sins like a cloud. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.

⁹ To the Lord our God belong mercies and pardons, for we have rebelled against Him.

¹⁹ O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and act! Do not delay, for Your own sake, O my God. For Your name is called on Your city and on Your people.

¹⁹ He will return to show us compassion; He will trample our iniquities. Yea, You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

³ And, behold, some of the scribes said within themselves, This one blasphemes.

⁶⁵ Then the high priest tore his garments, saying, He blasphemed! Why do we have any more need of witnesses? Behold, now you have heard his blasphemy.

⁶ But some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, ⁷ Why does this one speak blasphemies this way? Who is able to forgive sins, except One, God?

¹⁷ And it happened on one of the days, even He was teaching. And Pharisees and teachers of the Law were sitting by, who were coming out of every village of Galilee and Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was there, for the curing of them.

⁴⁹ And those reclining with Him began to say within themselves, Who is this who even forgives sins?

³³ The Jews answered Him, saying, We do not stone you concerning a good work, but concerning blasphemy; and because you, being a man, make yourself God.

¹¹ Then they induced some men to be saying, We have heard him speaking blasphemous words against Moses and God! ¹² And they stirred up the people and the elders and the scribes. And coming on, they together seized him and led him into the sanhedrin. ¹³ And they stood up false witnesses, who were saying, This man does not cease speaking blasphemous words against this holy place and the Law;

³³ Who will bring any charge against God's elect? God is the One justifying!

⁹ And you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a perfect heart, and with a willing mind. For Jehovah searches out all hearts, and He understands every imagination of thoughts. If you shall seek Him, He shall be found by you. But if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.

² You know my sitting down, and my rising up; You understand my thought from afar off.

²⁶ The thoughts of the wicked are very hateful to Jehovah, but the words of pleasantness are pure.

¹⁸ For I know their works and their thoughts; it comes to gather all the nations and the tongues; and they shall come and see My glory.

¹⁰ So says the Lord Jehovah: And it shall be in that day, words shall come up into your heart, and you shall devise an evil plan.

⁴ And seeing their thoughts, Jesus said, Why do you think evil in your hearts?

²⁵ But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, He said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to ruin. And every city or house divided against itself will not stand.

¹⁷ And knowing, Jesus said to them, Why do you reason because you have no loaves? Do you not yet perceive nor realize? Have you still hardened your heart?

³⁸ And He said to them, Why are you troubled? And why do reasonings come up in your hearts.

³ But Peter said, Ananias, why did Satan fill your heart for you to lie to the Holy Spirit and to secretly keep back from the price of the land?

¹² For the word of God is living, and powerfully working, and sharper than every two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of both soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge of the thoughts and intentions of the heart;

²³ And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches will know that I am the One searching the inner parts and hearts. And I will give to each of you according to your works.

⁵ For what is easier, to say, Your sins have been forgiven you; or to say, Rise up and walk?

⁹ Which is easier? To say to the paralytic, Your sins are forgiven to you, or to say, Rise up and take your cot and walk?

¹¹ He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul; He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify for many, and He shall bear their iniquities.

¹³ I was looking in the night visions. And behold! One like the Son of Man came with the clouds of the heavens. And He came to the Ancient of Days. And they brought Him near before Him.

⁶ But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins, then He said to the paralytic, Rising up, lift up your cot and go to your house.

¹³ And coming into the parts of Caesarea of Philip, Jesus questioned His disciples, saying, Whom do men say Me the Son of Man to be?

³¹ But when the Son of man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.

⁶⁴ Jesus said to him, You said it . I tell you more. From this time you shall see the Son of man sitting off the right hand of power, and coming on the clouds of the heavens. Psa. 110:1; LXX-Dan. 7:13

¹⁸ And coming up Jesus talked with them, saying, All authority in Heaven and on earth was given to Me.

¹³ And stretching out the hand, He touched him, saying, I will! Be cleansed! And instantly the leprosy departed from him.

¹⁴ And coming up, He touched the coffin; and those carrying it stood still. And He said, Young man, I say to you, Arise!

⁵⁴ But putting all outside, and taking hold of her hand, He called out, saying, Child, rise up!

¹³ And no one has gone up into Heaven, except He having come down out of Heaven, the Son of Man who is in Heaven.

⁸ Jesus said to him, Rise up, Take up your cot and walk! ⁹ And instantly the man became well, and took up his cot and walked. And it was a sabbath that day. ¹⁰ Then the Jews said to the one having been healed, It is a sabbath. It is not lawful for you to lift up the cot. ¹¹ He answered them, The One making me well, that One said to me, Lift up your cot and walk. ¹² Then they asked him, Who is the man who told you, Lift up your cot and walk?

²² For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, ²³ so that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. The one not honoring the Son does not honor the Father who has sent Him.

²⁷ And He also gave authority to Him to execute judgment, for He is the Son of man.

⁴³ And saying these things, He cried out with a loud voice, Lazarus! Here! Outside!

² as You gave to Him authority over all flesh, so that to all which You gave to Him, He may give to them everlasting life.

²² And saying this, He breathed on them and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit. ²³ Of whomever you forgive the sins, they are forgiven to them. Or whomever you may retain, they are retained.

⁶ But Peter said, There is no silver and gold to me, but what I have, this I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazaraean, rise up and walk! ⁷ And taking him by the right hand, he raised him up. And immediately his feet and ankle-bones were made firm. ⁸ And leaping up, he stood and walked, and went with them into the temple, walking and leaping, and praising God.

³¹ This One God has exalted as a Ruler and Savior to His right hand, to give to Israel repentance and remission of sins.

³⁴ And Peter said to him, Aeneas! Jesus the Christ heals you; rise up and spread for yourself. And instantly he rose up.

⁴⁰ And putting all out, placing the knees Peter prayed. And turning to the body he said, Tabitha, Arise! And she opened her eyes. And seeing Peter she sat up.

¹⁰ he said with a loud voice, Stand upright on your feet! And he leaped up and walked about.

¹³ And having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of man, having been clothed to the feet, and having been girded with a golden girdle at the breasts.

²³ Whoever offers thanks glorifies Me; and he who prepares a way, I will show the salvation of God to him.

¹ Of David. Bless Jehovah, O my soul; and all within me, bless His holy name. ² Bless Jehovah, O my soul, and forget not all His rewards; ³ who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases;

²⁰ He sent His word and healed them; and delivered them from all their pitfalls. ²¹ Let them thank Jehovah for His mercy, and His wonders to the sons of man. ²² And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and recount His works with rejoicing.

¹³ And He laid hands on her. And instantly she was made erect and glorified God.

¹⁵ And one of them, seeing that he was cured, returned glorifying God with a loud voice. ¹⁶ And he fell on his face at His feet, thanking Him. And he was a Samaritan. ¹⁷ And answering, Jesus said, Were not the ten cleansed? But where are the nine? ¹⁸ Were not any found returning to give glory to God except this foreigner?

⁴³ And instantly he saw again. And he followed Him, glorifying God. And seeing, all the people gave praise to God.

²⁴ Then a second time they called the man who was blind, and they said to him, Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner.

⁹ And it shall be a name of joy to Me, a praise and a glory to all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do for them. And they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the peace that I do for it.

⁵ Afterward the sons of Israel shall return and seek Jehovah their God and David their king. And they shall fear Jehovah and His goodness in the ends of the days.

⁸ And seeing, the crowds marveled, and they glorified God who gave such authority to men.

²³ And all the crowds were amazed, and said, Is this not the son of David?

⁸ And going away from the tomb quickly, with fear and great joy, they ran to report to His disciples.

¹² And at once he rose up. And taking his cot, he went out before all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, Never did we see it this way.

⁸ And seeing, Simon Peter fell at the knees of Jesus, saying, Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord.

¹⁶ And fear took hold of all; and they glorified God, saying, A great prophet has risen up among us; and, God has visited His people.

³⁷ And all the multitude of the neighborhood of the Gadarenes were seized with a great fear. And they asked Him to depart from them. And entering into the boat, He returned.

²¹ But having threatened them again, they released them, finding nothing as to how they might punish them, on account of the people, because all glorified God on the thing happening.

¹¹ And great fear came on all the church and on all those hearing these things. ¹² And many miracles and wonders among the people took place through the hands of the apostles. And they were all with one passion in Solomon's Porch. ¹³ And of the rest, no one dared to be joined to them, but the people greatly magnified them.

²⁴ and they glorified God in me.

¹⁹ And He says to them, Come after Me, and I will make you fishers of men. ²⁰ And leaving the nets, they immediately followed Him. ²¹ And going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and his brother John in the boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets. And He called them.

²² But Jesus said to him, Follow Me, and allow the dead to bury their own dead.

⁹ And passing from there, Jesus saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, Follow Me. And rising up, he followed Him. ¹⁰ And it happened as He reclined in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners having come, these were reclining with Jesus and His disciples. ¹¹ And seeing, the Pharisees said to His disciples, Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners? ¹² But Jesus hearing, He said to them, The ones who are strong have no need of a physician, but the ones who are sick. ¹³ But going, learn what this is, "I desire mercy and not sacrifice." For I did not come to call righteous ones, but sinners to repentance. Hos. 6:6 ¹⁴ Then the disciples of John came to Him, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast much, and Your disciples do not fast? ¹⁵ And Jesus said to them, Can the sons of the bridechamber mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will have been taken from them, and then they will fast. ¹⁶ But no one puts a piece of new cloth onto an old garment. For its filling up takes away from the garment, and a worse tear takes its place. ¹⁷ Nor do they put new wine into old skins; otherwise, the skins are burst, and the wine pours out, and the skins will be ruined. But they put new wine into fresh skins, and both are preserved together.

³ Philip, and Bartholomew, Thomas, and Matthew the tax-collector, James the son of Alpheus, and Lebbaeus, whose last name was Thaddaeus,

²⁴ Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and let him bear his cross, and let him follow Me.

And they followed Him. ¹⁶ And the scribes and Pharisees seeing Him eating with tax collectors and sinners, they said to His disciples, Why is it that He eats and drinks with the tax collectors and sinners? ¹⁷ And hearing, Jesus said to them, Those who are strong have no need of a physician, but those who have illness. I did not come to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners. ¹⁸ And John's disciples, and those of the Pharisees, were fasting. And they came and said to Him, Why do John's disciples and those of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast? ¹⁹ And Jesus said to them, Can the sons of the bridechamber fast while the groom is with them? What time they have the groom with them, they cannot fast. ²⁰ But the days will come when the groom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast in those days. ²¹ And no one sews a patch of unmilled cloth on an old garment, else it takes away its fullness, the new from the old, and a worse tear occurs. ²² And no one puts new wine into old skins, else the new wine will burst the skins, and the wine pours out, and the skins will be destroyed. But new wine is put into fresh skins.

¹⁸ Also He appointed Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alpheus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,

²² And hearing these things, Jesus said to him, Yet one thing is lacking to you: sell all, as much as you have, and give to the poor; and you will have treasure in Heaven. And come, follow Me.

⁴³ And on the morrow, Jesus desired to go out into Galilee. And He found Philip, and says to him, Follow me!

²⁶ If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will also be. And if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

¹⁹ But He said this signifying by what death he would glorify God. And having said this, He told him, Follow Me. ²⁰ But turning, Peter saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them, who also leaned on His breast at the Supper, and said, Lord, who is the one betraying You? ²¹ Seeing him, Peter said to Jesus, Lord, and what of this one? ²² Jesus said to him, If I desire him to remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.

¹⁹ And he left there and found Elisha the son of Shaphat; and he was plowing; twelve pairs were before him, and he was with the twelfth. And Elijah passed over to him, and threw his mantle upon him. ²⁰ And he left the oxen and ran after Elijah, and said, Please let me kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you. And he said to him, Go back; for what have I done to you? ²¹ And he returned from following him, and took the pair of oxen, and sacrificed them, and boiled their flesh with the yoke of the oxen, and gave to the people, and they ate. Then he arose and went after Elijah and ministered to him. ²² But hearing the word, being grieved, the young man went away, for he had many possessions. ²³ And Jesus said to His disciples, Truly I say to you that a rich man will with great difficulty enter into the kingdom of Heaven. ²⁴ And again I say to you, It is easier for a camel to pass through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. ²⁵ And His disciples were exceedingly astonished when they heard this, saying, Who then can be saved? ²⁶ But looking on them, Jesus said to them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. ²⁷ Then answering, Peter said to Him, Behold, we left all things and followed You. What then shall be to us?

¹¹ And bringing the boats down onto the land, forsaking all things, they followed Him.

⁵⁹ And He said to another, Follow Me. But he said, Lord, allow me to go first to bury my father. ⁶⁰ But Jesus said to him, Leave the dead to bury their dead, but going out, you announce the kingdom of God. ⁶¹ And also another said, I will follow You, Lord, but first allow me to take leave of those in my house. ⁶² But Jesus said to him, No one putting his hand on the plow, and looking at the things behind, is fit for the kingdom of God.

¹⁰ And it happened as He reclined in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners having come, these were reclining with Jesus and His disciples.

¹⁵ And it happened as He reclined in his house, even many tax collectors and sinners reclined with Jesus and His disciples, for they were many. And they followed Him.

¹ And all the tax collectors and sinners were coming near to Him, to hear Him.

² Then they made Him a supper there, and Martha served. But Lazarus was one of those reclining with Him.

⁹ I wrote to you in the letter not to associate with fornicators; ¹⁰ and not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or with plunderers, or with idolaters, since then you must go out of the world. ¹¹ But now I wrote to you not to associate intimately; if anyone is called a brother and is either a fornicator, or a covetous one, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a plunderer, with such a one not to eat.

²⁷ And if any of the unbelievers invite you, and you desire to go, eat everything set before you, examining nothing because of conscience.

⁵ who say, Keep to yourself! Do not come near me, for I am holier than you! These are a smoke in My nose, a fire burning all the day.

²⁸ But what do you think? A man had two children, and coming to the first he said, Child, go today; work in my vineyard. ²⁹ And answering, he said, I will not. But afterward, feeling sorry, he went. ³⁰ And coming to the second, he said the same. And answering, he said, I go, sir; but he did not leave. ³¹ Which of the two did the will of the father? They said to Him, The first. Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, the tax collectors and the harlots go before you into the kingdom of God. ³² For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him. But the tax-collectors and the harlots believed him. And seeing, you did not repent afterwards to believe him.

³ For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they immerse the hands with the fist, holding the tradition of the elders.

²⁹ And all the people and the tax collectors hearing, they justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John. ³⁰ But the Pharisees and the lawyers set aside God's counsel as to themselves, not being baptized by him.

³⁴ The Son of man has come eating and drinking, and you say, Behold, a man, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.

³⁹ But seeing, the Pharisee who invited Him spoke within himself, saying, This one, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what the woman who touches him is; for she is a sinner.

¹ And all the tax collectors and sinners were coming near to Him, to hear Him. ² And the Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, This one receives sinners and eats with them.

¹¹ The Pharisee was standing, praying these things to himself: God, I thank You that I am not as the rest of men, rapacious, unrighteous, adulterers, or even as this tax collector.

⁷ And seeing, all murmured, saying, He has gone in to stay with a sinful man.

⁹ And there was a great cry. And the scribes of the part of the Pharisees rising up, they were contending, saying, We find nothing evil in this man. And, If a spirit spoke to him, or an angel, let us not fight against God.

²² Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no healer there? Why then has the healing of the daughter of My people not come?

¹² But Jesus hearing, He said to them, The ones who are strong have no need of a physician, but the ones who are sick. ¹³ But going, learn what this is, "I desire mercy and not sacrifice." For I did not come to call righteous ones, but sinners to repentance. Hos. 6:6

¹⁷ And hearing, Jesus said to them, Those who are strong have no need of a physician, but those who have illness. I did not come to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners.

⁶ Seek Jehovah while He may be found; call on Him while He is near. ⁷ Let the wicked forsake his way and the vain man his thoughts; and let him return to Jehovah, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

¹⁵ For so says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, and His name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, even with the contrite and humble of spirit; to make live the spirit of the humble and to make live the heart of the contrite ones.

¹⁰ See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that their angels in Heaven continually look on the face of My Father in Heaven.

⁷ And there was one called Barabbas, having been bound with the insurgents, who in the insurrection had committed murder.

¹⁰ For he knew that the chief priests had delivered Him up through envy.

¹⁸ " The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me. Because of this He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me" to heal the brokenhearted, "to preach remission to captives and new sight to the blind," to send away the ones having been crushed in deliverance, ¹⁹ "to preach an acceptable year of the Lord." Isa. 61:1, 2

⁷ I say to you that so is joy in Heaven over one sinner repenting, than over ninety nine righteous ones who have no need of repentance.

¹⁰ I say to you, so there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner repenting.

¹⁰ Two men went up into the temple to pray, the one a Pharisee, and the other a tax collector. ¹¹ The Pharisee was standing, praying these things to himself: God, I thank You that I am not as the rest of men, rapacious, unrighteous, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. ¹² I fast twice in the week; I tithe all things, as many as I get. ¹³ And standing at a distance, the tax collector would not even lift up his eyes to Heaven, but smote on his breast, saying, God, be merciful to me, the sinner! ¹⁴ I say to you, this one went down to his house having been justified, rather than that one. For everyone exalting himself will be humbled. And the one humbling himself will be exalted.

¹⁰ For the Son of man came to seek and to save the one being lost.

⁴⁷ And repentance and remission of sins must be preached on His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

³⁸ And Peter said to them, Repent and be baptized, each of you on the name of Jesus Christ to remission of sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

¹⁹ Therefore, repent, and convert, for the blotting out of your sins, so that times of refreshing may come from the face of the Lord,

²⁶ Having raised up His child Jesus, God sent Him first to you, blessing you in turning away each one from your iniquities.

³⁰ Truly, then, God overlooking the times of ignorance, now strictly commands all men everywhere to repent,

²¹ earnestly testifying both to Jews and to Greeks repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁸ to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, in order that they may receive remission of sins, and an inheritance among those being sanctified by faith in Me. ¹⁹ Upon this, king Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, ²⁰ but to those first in Damascus, and Jerusalem, and to all the country of Judea, and to the nations, I announced the command to repent and to turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.

⁹ Or do you not know that unjust ones will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be led astray, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor abusers, nor homosexuals, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor covetous ones, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor plunderers shall inherit the kingdom of God. ¹¹ And some were these things, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

¹⁵ Faithful is the Word and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. ¹⁶ But for this reason I received mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all long-suffering, for an example to those being about to believe on Him to everlasting life.

²⁵ in meekness teaching those who have opposed, if perhaps God may give them repentance for a full knowledge of the truth, ²⁶ and they may awake out of the snare of the Devil, having been taken captive by him, so as to do the will of that one.

⁹ The Lord of the promise is not slow, as some deem slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not having purposed any of us to perish, but all of us to come to repentance.

⁹ Whoever turns aside his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.

¹⁵ And when you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you. Yea, when you multiply prayer, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.

³ They say, Why have we fasted, and You did not see? We have afflicted our soul, and You did not acknowledge. Behold, on the day of your fast you find pleasure; and you drive all your laborers hard. ⁴ Look! You fast for strife, and for debate, and to strike with the fist of wickedness. Do not fast as today, to sound your voice in the high place. ⁵ Is this like the fast I will choose, a day for a man to afflict his soul? To bow his head down like a bulrush, and he spreads sackcloth and ashes? Will you call to this as a fast and a day of delight to Jehovah? ⁶ Is this not the fast I have chosen: to open bands of wickedness, to undo thongs of the yoke, and to let the oppressed ones go free; even that you pull off every yoke?

⁶ And when you ate, and when you drank, was it not for those eating, and for those drinking?

⁵ And when you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the open streets so that they may be seen of men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward. ⁶ But you, when you pray, enter into your room and shutting your door, pray to your Father in secret. And your Father seeing in secret will repay you in the open.

¹³ But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of Heaven before men; for you do not enter, nor do you allow those entering to go in.

⁴⁰ those devouring the houses of widows, and for a pretense praying at length. These will receive more abundant judgment.

³⁴ The Son of man has come eating and drinking, and you say, Behold, a man, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners. ³⁵ But wisdom was justified from all her children.

¹ And it happened as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, one of His disciples said to Him, Lord teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

¹² I fast twice in the week; I tithe all things, as many as I get.

⁴⁷ who devour the houses of the widows, and under pretense pray long. These will receive a more severe judgment.

³⁵ Again on the morrow, John and two from his disciples stood.

²⁵ Then a question from John's disciples arose with the Jews about purifying.

¹¹ And the Lord said to him, Rising up pass along on the street being called Straight and seek a Tarsian, Saul by name, in the house of Judas. For, behold, he is praying.

² For I testify to them that they have zeal to God, but not according to knowledge. ³ For being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.

¹⁰ And his father went down to the woman, and Samson made a feast there, for so the young men usually did. ¹¹ And it happened when they saw him, they took thirty companions, and they were with him.

¹⁰ Listen, O daughter, and look, and incline your ear, and forget your people and your father's house. ¹¹ And the King will desire your beauty, for He is your Lord, and you shall worship Him. ¹² And the daughter of Tyre will stroke Your face with a gift, the rich among the peoples. ¹³ The king's daughter is all glorious within, her clothing braided gold. ¹⁴ She shall be led to the King in embroidered work; her companions, the virgins, shall be brought to You after her. ¹⁵ They shall be led with gladness and rejoicing; they shall go in to the King's palace. ¹⁶ Your sons shall be in the place of your fathers; You will make them for rulers in all the earth.

⁶ His left hand is under my head, and His right hand embraces me. ⁷ I adjure you by the gazelles, and by the does of the field, O daughters of Jerusalem, that you do not stir up and do not awaken the Beloved until it pleases.

¹⁰ He made its poles of silver; its back of gold; its seat of purple; its middle was paved with love by the daughters of Jerusalem. ¹¹ Go forth, O daughters of Zion, and see king Solomon with the crown with which his mother crowned him on his wedding day, even on the day of the gladness of his heart.

⁸ I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if you find my Beloved, what do you tell Him? That I am sick with love.

¹ Where has your Beloved gone, most beautiful among women? Where has your Beloved turned? For we seek Him along with you.

⁵ For your Maker is your husband; Jehovah of Hosts is His name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of all the earth.

⁵ For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you. And as a bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so your God shall rejoice over you.

¹⁷ Jehovah your God is mighty in your midst; He will save. He will rejoice over you with joy; He is silent in His love. He rejoices over you with a joyful shout.

² The kingdom of Heaven is compared to a man, a king, who made a wedding feast for his son.

¹ Then the kingdom of Heaven shall be compared to ten virgins who taking their lamps, went out to a meeting of the bridegroom. ² And five of them were wise, and five foolish. ³ Those being foolish, taking their lamps, did not take oil with them. ⁴ But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. ⁵ But the bridegroom delaying, all nodded and slept. ⁶ And at midnight, a cry occurred: Behold, the bridegroom comes! Go out to meet him. ⁷ Then all those virgins arose and prepared their lamps. ⁸ And the foolish said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out. ⁹ But the wise answered, saying, No, lest there not be enough for us and you. But rather, go to those who sell and buy for yourselves. ¹⁰ But they going away to buy, the bridegroom came. And those ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was shut.

²⁹ The one having the bride is the bridegroom. But the friend of the bridegroom, standing and hearing him, rejoices with joy because of the bridegroom's voice. Then this my joy has been fulfilled.

² For I am jealous over you with a jealousy of God. For I have promised you to one Man, to present you a pure virgin to Christ.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up on its behalf, ²⁶ that He might sanctify it, cleansing it by the washing of the water in the Word, ²⁷ that He might present it to Himself as the glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such things, but that it be holy and without blemish.

⁷ Let us rejoice and let us exult, and we will give glory to Him, because the marriage of the Lamb came, and His wife prepared herself. ⁸ And it was given to her that she be clothed in fine linen, pure and bright; for the fine linen is the righteousnesses of the saints. ⁹ And he says to me, Write: Blessed are the ones having been called to the supper of the marriage of the Lamb. And he says to me, These words of God are true.

¹² And in that day the Lord Jehovah of Hosts called to weeping and mourning; and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth.

²⁶ And after sixty two weeks, Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself. And the people of a coming prince shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end shall be with the flood, and ruins are determined, and war shall be until the end.

⁷ O sword, awake against My Shepherd, and against the Man who is My companion, says Jehovah of hosts. Strike the Shepherd and the sheep will be scattered. And I will turn My hand against the little ones.

¹⁷ But you in fasting, anoint your head and wash your face, ¹⁸ so as not to appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father in secret. And your Father seeing in secret will repay you in the open.

²² And He said to the disciples, Days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of man, and will not see.

¹⁷ And He said to them, What words are these which you exchange with each other while walking, and are sad of face? ¹⁸ And answering, one of them whose name was Cleopas, said to Him, Are you only one who resides in Jerusalem and do not know the things happening in it in these days? ¹⁹ And He said to them, What things? And they said to Him, The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who was a man, a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people; ²⁰ and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to the judgment of death, and crucified Him . ²¹ But we were hoping that He is the One going to redeem Israel. But then with all these things, this third day comes today since these things happened.

⁸ For you always have the poor with you, but you do not always have Me.

³³ Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You will seek Me; and, as I said to the Jews, Where I go, you are not able to come; I also say to you now.

³ And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will receive you to Myself, that where I am you may be also. ⁴ And where I go you know, and the way you know.

⁴ But I have spoken these things to you so that when the hour comes you may recall them, that I told you these things. But I did not say these things to you from the beginning because I was with you. ⁵ But now I am going to Him who sent Me. And not one of you asks Me, Where are you going? ⁶ But because I have said these things to you, grief has filled your heart. ⁷ But I tell you the truth, it is advantageous for you that I should go; for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you. But if I go, I will send Him to you.

¹⁶ A little while and you do not see Me. And again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go away to the Father. ¹⁷ Then His disciples said to one another, What is this which He says to us, A little while, and you do not see me; and again, A little and you will see Me? And, Because I go away to the Father? ¹⁸ Then they said, What is this that He says, The little? We do not know what He says. ¹⁹ Then Jesus knew that they desired to ask Him. And He said to them, Do you seek answers with one another concerning this, because I said, A little while, and you do not see Me; and again a little and you will see Me? ²⁰ Truly, truly, I say to you that you will weep and will lament, but the world will rejoice. And you will be grieved, but your grief will become joy. ²¹ The woman has grief when she bears, because her hour came, but when she brings forth the child, she no longer remembers the distress, because of the joy that a man was born into the world. ²² And you, then, truly have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one takes your joy from you.

²⁸ I came out from the Father and have come into the world; I leave the world again and go to the Father.

¹¹ And no longer I am in the world, yet these are in the world; and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, those whom You gave to Me, that they may be one as We are . ¹² While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name; I guarded those whom You gave to Me, and not one of them was lost, except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. ¹³ And now I come to You, and I speak these things in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in them.

⁹ And saying these things, as they looked on, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him from their eyes.

²¹ whom Heaven truly needs to receive until the times of restoration of all things, of which God spoke through the mouth of all His holy prophets from the age past.

² And while they were doing service to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, So then separate both Barnabas and Saul to Me, for the work to which I have called them. ³ Then, having fasted and prayed, and placing hands on them, they let them go.

²³ And having handpicked elders for them in every church, having prayed with fastings, they committed them to the Lord into whom they had believed.

⁵ Do not deprive one another, unless by agreement for a time, that you may be free for fasting and prayer. And come together again on the same place, that Satan may not tempt you through your incontinence.

²⁷ in hardship and toil, often in watchings, in hunger and thirst, often in fastings, in cold and nakedness,

¹⁹ You shall keep my statutes; you shall not cause your livestock to breed with different kinds; you shall not sow two kinds in your field; and you shall not allow a garment mixed of linen and wool to come upon you.

¹¹ You shall not wear a garment of different kinds, of wool and linen together.

¹⁶ And what agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God, even as God said, "I will" dwell in them and "walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." Lev. 26:12; Ezek. 37:27

⁴ And they acted slyly, and they went and acted like envoys, and took old sacks for their asses, and old wineskins, even torn and bound up;

¹³ And these are the wineskins which we filled new; and, behold, they have torn. And these garments of ours, and our sandals, have become old because of the exceeding greatness of the way.

⁸³ For I am like a wineskin in the smoke; I do not forget Your statutes.

²⁶ And I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give to you a heart of flesh.

¹⁷ So that if anyone is in Christ, that one is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new!

⁴ But it was because of those false brothers stealing in, who stole in to spy on our freedom which we have in Christ Jesus, they desiring to enslave us,

¹² For before some came from James, he ate with the nations. But when they came, he drew back and separated himself, being afraid of those of the circumcision. ¹³ And also the rest of the Jews dissembled with him, so as even Barnabas was led away with their dissembling. ¹⁴ But when I saw that they did not walk uprightly with the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before all, If you being a Jew, live as a non-Jew and not as the Jews, why do you compel the nations to Judaize?

⁹ But now, knowing God, but rather being known by God, how do you turn again to the weak and poor elements to which you desire again to slave anew? ¹⁰ You observe days and months and seasons and years. ¹¹ I fear for you, lest somehow I have labored among you in vain.

¹ Then stand firm in the freedom with which Christ made us free and do not be held again with a yoke of slavery. ² Behold, I, Paul, say to you that if you are circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. ³ And I testify again to every man being circumcised, that he is a debtor to do all the Law, ⁴ you who are justified by law are deprived of all effect from Christ, you fell from grace. ⁵ For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness out of faith. ⁶ For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any strength, but faith working through love.

¹³ For they themselves having been circumcised do not even keep the Law, but they desire you to be circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh. ¹⁴ But may it never be for me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

⁵ in circumcision, the eighth day, of the race of Israel, the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; according to Law, a Pharisee; ⁶ according to zeal, persecuting the church; according to righteousness in Law, being blameless. ⁷ But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss because of Christ.

¹⁹ and not holding fast the Head, from whom all the body having been supplied through the joints and bands, and having been joined together, will grow with the growth of God. ²⁰ If, then, you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why are you under its decrees, as living in the world? ²¹ Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch, ²² These things are all to rot away in the using, according to the "injunctions and teachings of men." Isa. 29:13 ²³ Which things indeed have a reputation of wisdom in self-imposed worship and humility, and unsparing severity of the body, not in any honor with respect to gratification of the flesh.

⁸ For bodily exercise is profitable to a little, but godliness is profitable to all things, having promise of the present life and of that coming.

⁸ For finding fault, He said to them, "Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and I will make an end on the house of Israel and on the house of Judah; a new covenant shall be, ⁹ not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day of My taking hold of their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I did not regard them, says the Lord. ¹⁰ Because this is the covenant which I will covenant with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, giving My laws into their mind, and I will write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." ¹¹ "And they shall no more teach each one his neighbor, and each one his brother, saying, Know the Lord; because all shall know Me, from the least of them to their great ones. ¹² For I will be merciful to their unrighteousnesses, and I will not at all remember their sins and their lawless deeds." LXX-Jer. 38:31-34; MT-Jer. 31:31-34 ¹³ In the saying, New, He has made the first old. And the thing having been made old and growing aged is near disappearing.

⁹ Do not be carried away by various and strange doctrine; for it is good that the heart be confirmed by grace, not by foods, in which those walking in them were not profited. ¹⁰ We have an altar of which those serving the tabernacle have no authority to eat.

⁵ And the One sitting on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He says to me, Write, because these words are faithful and true.

¹⁶ So says Jehovah, Stand by the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; and you shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk in it .

⁷ and in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men." Isa. 29:13 ⁸ For forsaking the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men: dippings of utensils and cups, and many other such like things you do. ⁹ And He said to them, Do you do well to set aside the commandment of God so that you may keep your tradition? ¹⁰ For Moses said, "Honor your father and your mother;" Ex. 20:12; Deut. 5:16 and, "The one speaking evil of father or mother, let him expire by death." Ex. 21:17 ¹¹ But you say, If a man says to his father or mother, Corban, (which is, A gift!) whatever you may profit by me. ¹² And you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or mother, ¹³ making the Word of God of no effect by your tradition which you delivered. And many such like things you do.

¹¹ And he received a sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness of faith while in uncircumcision, for him to be a father of those believing through uncircumcision, for righteousness to be counted to them also, ¹² and a father of circumcision to those not of circumcision only, but also to those walking in the steps of the faith of our father Abraham during uncircumcision.

¹ Now faith is the substantiation of things having been hoped, the evidence of things not having been seen. ² For by this the elders obtained witness.

³⁹ And having obtained witness through the faith, these all did not obtain the promise,
