² Therefore He said to them, Indeed the harvest is much, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest, that He send out workers into His harvest.

¹⁷ And I shall come down and speak with you there; and I will take of the spirit which is upon you, and will put it on them; and they will bear the burden of the people with you, that you may not bear it yourself alone.

²⁹ And Moses said to him, Are you jealous for my sake? Oh that all Jehovah's people were prophets, that Jehovah would put His spirit on them!

²² Then Elijah said to the people, I, I alone, remain a prophet of Jehovah; but the prophets of Baal are four hundred and fifty men.

⁶ And the king of Israel gathered the prophets, about four hundred men, and said to them, Shall I go to battle against Ramoth-gilead, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up, that the Lord may give it into the hand of the king. ⁷ And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of Jehovah besides, that we might inquire of him? ⁸ And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Yet one man, to seek Jehovah by him. But I hate him, for he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil, Micaiah the son of Imlah. And Jehoshaphat said, let not the king say so.

¹¹ Jehovah gave the word; the bearers of it were a great army.

⁹ All beasts of the field come to devour, all beasts in the forest! ¹⁰ His watchmen are blind; they all do not know; they are all dumb dogs; they cannot bark, dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber; ¹¹ yea, dogs greedy of soul; they do not know satisfaction. And they are shepherds; they know not discernment; they all look to their own way, each one for his own gain, from his own end, saying: ¹² Come, and let me bring wine, and let us gulp down fermented drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day, great, exceedingly abundant.

¹⁵ And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.

² Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy and say to them, to the shepherds, So says the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who are feeding themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flock? ³ You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool, you sacrifice the fat ones, and you do not feed the flock. ⁴ You have not made the weak strong; and you have not healed the sick, and you have not bound up the broken. And the banished have not been brought back, and you have not sought the lost, but you rule them with force and with harshness. ⁵ And they were scattered for lack of a shepherd. And they became food to all the beasts of the field when they were scattered. ⁶ My sheep strayed through all the mountains and on every high hill. And My sheep were scattered on all the face of the earth, and none searched, and none sought for them .

⁵ Those who buy them kill them and are not held guilty. And those who sell them say, Blessed be Jehovah, for I am rich. And their shepherds do not pity them.

¹⁷ Woe to the worthless shepherd who abandons the flock! The sword shall be against his arm and against his right eye. His arm shall be completely withered, and his right eye shall be totally darkened.

³⁶ And seeing the crowds, He was moved with pity for them, because they were tired and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. ³⁷ Then He said to His disciples, The harvest truly is great, but the workers few. ³⁸ Pray then that the Lord of the harvest may send out workers into His harvest.

¹ For the kingdom of Heaven is like a man, a housemaster, who went out when it was early to hire workers into his vineyard.

³⁴ As a man going away, leaving his house, and giving his slaves authority, and to each his work (and he commanded the doorkeeper, that he watch),

¹⁵ And He said to them, Going into all the world, preach the gospel to all the creation.

²⁰ And going out, they preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word by the signs following. Amen.

¹ And having called together His twelve disciples, He gave them power and authority over all the demons, and to heal diseases.

³⁵ Do you do not say, It is yet four months and the harvest comes? Behold, I say to you, Lift up your eyes and behold the fields, for they are already white to harvest. ³⁶ And the one reaping receives reward, and gathers fruit to everlasting life, so that both the one sowing and the one reaping may rejoice together. ³⁷ For in this the word is true, that another is the one sowing, and another the one reaping. ³⁸ I sent you to reap what you have not labored over. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.

⁴ Then, indeed, the ones who had been scattered passed through, preaching the gospel, the Word.

¹⁹ Then, indeed, they who were scattered by the oppression taking place over Stephen passed through to Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the Word to no one except only to Jews.

² And while they were doing service to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, So then separate both Barnabas and Saul to Me, for the work to which I have called them.

⁴ Then these indeed sent out by the Holy Spirit went down to Seleucia, and from there sailed away to Cyprus.

⁹ And a vision appeared to Paul during the night: a certain man of Macedonia was standing, entreating him and saying, Passing over into Macedonia, help us! ¹⁰ And when he saw the vision, we immediately sought to go forth into Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to announce the gospel to them.

²⁸ Then take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit placed you as overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased through His own blood.

²¹ And He said to me, Go, for I will send you to the nations afar off.

¹⁵ And I said, Who are you, Sir? And He said, I am Jesus whom you persecute; ¹⁶ but rise up and stand on your feet, for it is for this reason I appeared to you, to appoint you a servant and a witness both of what you saw, and in what I shall appear to you, ¹⁷ having delivered you from the people and the nations, to whom I now send you, ¹⁸ to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, in order that they may receive remission of sins, and an inheritance among those being sanctified by faith in Me.

⁶ I planted, Apollos watered, but God made to grow. ⁷ So as neither he planting is anything, nor he watering, but God making to grow. ⁸ So he planting and he watering are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. ⁹ For we are fellow workers of God, a field of God, and you are a building of God.

²⁸ And God placed some in the church: firstly apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then works of power; then gifts of healing, helps, governings, kinds of languages.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace which was toward me has not been without fruit, but I labored more abundantly than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

¹ But working together, we also call on you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

⁷ But to each one of us was given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. ⁸ Because of this, He says, "Having gone up on high, He led captivity captive," and gave "gifts to men." Psa. 68:18 ⁹ But that He went up, what is it except that He also first came down into the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰ He that came down is the same who also went up above all the heavens, that He might fill all things. ¹¹ And indeed He gave some to be apostles; and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some pastors and teachers; ¹² with a view to the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ,

²¹ For all seek their own things, not the things of Christ Jesus.

²⁵ But I thought it needful to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow-worker, and my fellow soldier, and your messenger and minister of my need,

³⁰ that through the work of Christ he drew near to death, having disregarded his life, that he may fill up your lack of service toward me.

²⁹ for which also I labor, struggling according to the working of Him who works in me in power.

¹² Epaphras greets you, he of you, a slave of Christ, always striving for you in prayers, that you may stand full-grown and being complete in every will of God.

⁹ For, brothers, you remember our labor and toil, night and day, working in order not to put a burden on any one of you, we proclaimed to you the gospel of God.

¹² But, brothers, we entreat you to know those laboring among you, and taking the lead of you in the Lord, and warning you,

¹ For the rest, brothers, pray concerning us, that the Word of the Lord may run and be glorified, even as also it has with you,

¹² And I have thanks to Him empowering me, our Lord Jesus Christ, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, ¹³ the one who before was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and insolent; but I received mercy, because being ignorant I did it in unbelief. ¹⁴ But the grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love in Christ Jesus.

¹⁰ for to this we also labor and are reproached, because we hope on the living God, who is deliverer of all men, especially of believers.

¹⁵ Give care to these things; be in these things in order that your progress may be plain in all. ¹⁶ Give attention to yourself and to the doctrine; continue in them, for doing this, you will both deliver yourself and those hearing you.

¹⁷ Let the elders who take the lead well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those laboring in word and teaching. ¹⁸ For the Scripture says, "You shall not muzzle an ox treading out grain," and, the laborer is worthy of his pay. Deut. 25:4

³ Then you suffer hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. ⁴ No one serving as a soldier entangles himself with the affairs of this life, so that he might please the one enlisting him . ⁵ And also if anyone competes, he is not crowned unless he competes lawfully. ⁶ It is right the laboring farmer to partake first of the fruits.

⁵ But you be clear-minded in all, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fully carry out your ministry.

¹ Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy the brother, to Philemon the beloved and our fellow-worker,

⁶ but Christ as Son over His house, whose house we are, if truly we hold fast the boldness and rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

¹ To the angel of the Ephesian church, write: These things says the One holding the seven stars in His right hand, He walking in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:

² And cast aside the outside court of the temple, and do not measure it. For it was given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city forty two months. ³ And I will give to My two witnesses, and they will prophesy a thousand, two hundred and sixty days, dressed in sackcloth.
