¹³ They are among rebellers against light; they do not recognize His ways, nor do they stay in His paths.

¹¹ My foot has held fast in His steps; I have kept His way and have not turned; ¹² nor have I departed from the command of His lips; I treasured the words of His mouth more than my portion.

¹⁹ The way of the wicked is as darkness; they do not know at what they stumble.

⁴⁷ But that slave knowing the will of his Lord, and not preparing, nor doing according to His will, will be beaten with many stripes . ⁴⁸ But he not knowing, and doing things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few. And everyone given much, much will be demanded from him. And to whom much was deposited, more exceedingly they will ask of him.

¹⁹ And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness more than the Light, for their works were evil. ²⁰ For everyone practicing wickedness hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, that his works may not be exposed.

³¹ Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in Him, If you continue in My Word, you are truly My disciples.

⁴⁴ You are of the Devil as father, and the lusts of your father you desire to do. That one was a murderer from the beginning, and he has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own, because he is a liar, and the father of it.

³⁹ And Jesus said, I came into this world for judgment, that the ones who do not see may see, and they who see may become blind. ⁴⁰ And those of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these things, and said to Him, Are we also blind? ⁴¹ Jesus said to them, If you were blind, you would have no sin. But now you say, We see; therefore, your sin remains.

³⁵ Then Jesus said to them, Yet a little while the Light is with you. Walk while you have the Light, that darkness not overtake you. And the one walking in the darkness does not know where he is going.

⁴⁰ "He has blinded their eyes" and "has hardened their heart," "that they might not see with the eyes" and "understand with the heart," "and be converted," "and I should heal them." Isa. 6:10

⁶ Unless one remains in Me, he is cast out as the branch and is dried up; and they gather and throw them into a fire, and they are burned.

²² If I had not come and had not spoken to them, they had no sin. But now they do not have excuse as to their sin. ²³ The one hating Me also hates My Father. ²⁴ If I did not do the works among them which no other did, they had no sin. But now they both have seen and also have hated Me and My Father.

³² who knowing the righteous order of God, that those practicing such things are worthy of death, not only do them, but also applaud those practicing them .

¹⁷ Behold, you are called a Jew, and rest in the Law, and boast in God, ¹⁸ and know the will, and approve the things excelling, being instructed out of the Law, ¹⁹ and persuading yourself to be a guide of blind ones, a light to those in darkness, ²⁰ an instructor of foolish ones, a teacher of infants, having the form of knowledge and of the truth in the Law. ²¹ Then the one teaching another, do you not teach yourself? The one preaching not to steal, do you steal? ²² The one saying not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? The one detesting the idols, do you rob temples? ²³ You who boast in Law, do you dishonor God through transgression of the Law? ²⁴ For the name of God is blasphemed among the nations through you, even as it has been written: Isa. 52:5

¹¹ There is none that understands, there is "not one that seeks after God. ¹² All turned away, they became worthless together, not one is doing goodness, not so much as one!" LXX-Psa. 13:1 -3 ¹³ "Their throat is an opened grave;" "they used deceit with their tongues; the poison of asps is under their lips; ¹⁴ whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness. ¹⁵ Their feet are swift to shed blood; ¹⁶ ruin and misery are in their way; ¹⁷ and they did not know a way of peace;

¹⁰ and in all deceit of unrighteousness in those being lost, because they did not receive the love of the truth in order for them to be saved. ¹¹ And because of this, God will send to them a working of error, for them to believe the lie, ¹² that all may be judged, those not believing the truth, but who have delighted in unrighteousness.

¹⁷ Therefore, to anyone knowing to do good, and not doing it, it is sin to him.

²⁰ For if by a full knowledge of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, they have escaped the defilements of the world, and again being entangled they have been overcome by these, then their last things have become worse than the first. ²¹ For it was better for them not to have fully known the way of righteousness, than fully knowing to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. ²² But the word of the true proverb has happened to them: " The dog turning to his own vomit;" also, the washed sow to wallowing in mud. Prov. 26:11

¹⁹ They went out from us, but they were not of us. For if they were of us, they would have remained with us; but they left so that it might be revealed that they all are not of us.

⁶ And those angels not having kept their first place, but having deserted their dwelling-place, He has kept in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of a great Day;
