³ By faith we understand the ages to have been framed by the word of God, so that the things seen should not come into being out of things that appear.

¹ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth;

¹ And the heavens and the earth were finished, and all their host.

⁶ Through Jehovah's word the heavens were made, and all their host by the breath of His mouth.

²⁶ Lift up your eyes on high and look: Who has created these? Who brings out their host by number? By greatness of vigor, and might of power, He calls them all by names; not one is lacking.

¹¹ So you shall say to them, The gods who have not made the heavens and the earth, they shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens.

¹⁶ The Portion of Jacob is not like these. For He is the Former of all things; and Israel is the tribe of His inheritance; Jehovah of Hosts is His name.

³ All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.

¹⁵ and saying, Men, why do you do these things? We also are men of like feelings to you, announcing the gospel to you to turn you from these vanities to the living God, who "made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all things in them," Ex. 20:11

²⁴ The God who made the world and all things in it, this One being Lord of Heaven and of earth, does not dwell in handmade temples,

¹⁹ because the thing known of God is clearly known within them, for God revealed it to them. ²⁰ for the unseen things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things made, both His eternal power and Godhead, for them to be without excuse. ²¹ Because knowing God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful. But they became vain in their reasonings, and their undiscerning heart was darkened.

¹⁷ according as it has been written, "I have appointed you a father of many nations;" before God, whom he believed, the One making the dead live, and calling the things that are not as if they were. Gen. 17:5

² in these last days He spoke to us in the Son, whom He appointed heir of all; through whom He indeed made the ages;

⁵ For this is hidden from them by their willing it so, that heavens were of old, and earth by water, and through water, being held together by the word of God,

¹¹ Lord, You are worthy to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because You created all things, and through Your will they exist and were created.
