¹ Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy the brother, to Philemon the beloved and our fellow-worker, ² and to Apphia the beloved, and to Archippus our fellow-soldier, and to the church in your house: ³ Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. ⁴ I thank my God always making mention of you in my prayers, ⁵ hearing of your love and faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all the saints, ⁶ so that the fellowship of your faith may operate in a full knowledge of every good thing in you for Jesus Christ. ⁷ For we have much joy and encouragement over your love, in that the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother. ⁸ Because of this, having much boldness in Christ to enjoin you to do what is becoming, ⁹ rather because of love I entreat, being such a one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ; ¹⁰ I entreat you concerning my child Onesimus, whom I fathered in my bonds, ¹¹ the one once worthless to you, but now useful to you and to me; whom I sent back to you. ¹² Even receive him, that is, my heart; ¹³ Whom I resolved to hold with myself, that for you he minister to me in the bonds of the gospel. ¹⁴ But I was willing to do nothing without your consent, that your good might not be by way of necessity, but by way of willingness. ¹⁵ For perhaps for this he was separated for an hour, that you might receive him eternally; ¹⁶ no longer as a slave, but beyond a slave, a beloved brother, especially to me, and how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord. ¹⁷ Then if you have me as a partner, receive him as me. ¹⁸ And if he wronged you in anything, or owes, reckon this to me. ¹⁹ I, Paul, wrote with my hand; I will repay (that I not say to you that you even owe yourself to me also). ²⁰ Yes, brother, that I may have your help in the Lord, refresh my heart in the Lord. ²¹ Trusting to your obedience, I wrote to you, knowing that you will do even beyond what I say. ²² But at once prepare lodging for me; for I hope that through your prayers I shall be given to you. ²³ Epaphras, my fellow-captive in Christ Jesus, greets you, ²⁴ also my fellow-workers Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke. ²⁵ The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

⁹ For we are fellow workers of God, a field of God, and you are a building of God.

¹ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, through the will of God, and Timothy the brother, to the church of God being in Corinth, with all the saints being in all Achaia,

¹ For this reason, I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you, the nations,

¹ Then I, the prisoner in the Lord, exhort you to walk worthily of the calling in which you were called,

²⁰ for which I am an ambassador in a chain, that in it I may speak boldly as it is right for me to speak.

²⁵ But I thought it needful to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow-worker, and my fellow soldier, and your messenger and minister of my need,

³ And I also ask you, true yoke-fellow, help those who struggled along with me and with Clement in the gospel, and the rest, fellow-workers with me, whose names are in the Scroll of Life.

¹ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Timothy the brother,

¹¹ And Jesus, the one being called Justus, those being of the circumcision, greet you, these only fellow workers for the kingdom of God, who became a comfort to me.

² and sent Timothy, our brother and minister of God, and our fellow worker in the gospel of Christ, in order to establish you and to encourage you concerning your faith,

¹ Paul and Silvanus and Timothy to the church of Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:

⁸ Then do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me, His prisoner. But suffer hardship with the gospel, according to the power of God, ⁹ rather because of love I entreat, being such a one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ;

²⁴ also my fellow-workers Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke.

⁵ And greet the church at their house, and my beloved Epenetus, who is a firstfruit of Achaia for Christ.

¹⁹ The churches of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla much greet you in the Lord, with the church in their house.

¹⁵ Greet the brothers in Laodicea, and Nymphas and the church in his house.

¹⁷ And say to Archippus, Look to the ministry which you received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.

³ Then you suffer hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. ⁴ No one serving as a soldier entangles himself with the affairs of this life, so that he might please the one enlisting him .

⁷ to all those who are in Rome, beloved of God, called-out saints, Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

⁸ First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of in all the world.

¹⁶ I also do not cease giving thanks on your behalf, making mention of you in my prayers,

³ I thank my God on all the remembrance of you,

³ We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying continually about you,

² We give thanks to God always concerning you all, making mention of you on our prayers, ³ Brothers, we are bound to give thanks to God always concerning you, even as it is right, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each one of you multiplies toward one another,

³ I have thanks to God, whom I worship from my forebears in a pure conscience, how unceasingly I have remembrance concerning you in my petitions night and day,

³ As for the saints in the earth, they are the excellent ones; all my delight is in them.

³⁹ And rising up Peter went with them, and having arrived they led to the upper room. And all the widows stood by him, weeping and showing tunics and garments such as Dorcas made while being with them. ⁴⁰ And putting all out, placing the knees Peter prayed. And turning to the body he said, Tabitha, Arise! And she opened her eyes. And seeing Peter she sat up. ⁴¹ And giving her a hand he raised her up. And calling the saints and the widows he presented her living.

¹³ imparting to the needs of the saints, pursuing hospitality.

²⁵ But now I am going to Jerusalem, doing service to the saints. ²⁶ For Macedonia and Achaia thought it good to make certain gifts to the poor of the saints in Jerusalem.

¹ And about the collection for the saints, as I charged the churches of Galatia, so also you do.

⁶ For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any strength, but faith working through love.

¹⁵ Because of this, hearing of your faith in the Lord Jesus and love toward all the saints,

⁴ hearing of your faith in Christ Jesus and the love toward all the saints,

⁷ For we have much joy and encouragement over your love, in that the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.

²³ And this is His commandment, that we should believe the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as He gave command to us.

¹ Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God. And everyone who loves Him who begets also loves the one who has been born of Him. ² By this we know that we love the children of God: when we love God and keep His commandments.

¹⁶ So let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works, and may glorify your Father in Heaven.

²⁵ And so the secrets of his heart become revealed; and so, falling on his face, he will worship God, declaring that God is truly among you.

¹² Because the ministry of this service is not only making up the things lacking of the saints, but also multiplying through many thanksgivings to God, ¹³ through the proof of this service, they glorifying God by your freely expressed submission to the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of the fellowship toward them and toward all; ¹⁴ and in their prayer for you, a longing after you, because of the overflowing grace of God on you.

⁹ And this I pray, that your love may yet abound more and more in full knowledge and all perception, ¹⁰ for you to distinguish the things that differ, that you may be sincere and without blame for the day of Christ, ¹¹ being filled with the fruits of righteousness through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

⁸ For the rest, brothers, whatever is true, whatever honorable, whatever is right, whatever pure, whatever lovely, whatever of good report, if of any virtue, and if of any praise, think on these things.

⁹ For this cause also, from the day in which we heard, we do not cease praying on your behalf, and asking that you may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

¹⁴ And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they may not be without fruit.

¹⁰ For God is not unjust, to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed to His name, ministering to the saints, and now are ministering.

¹⁴ My brothers, what is the gain if anyone says he has faith, but he does not have works? Is faith able to save him?

¹⁷ So also faith, if it does not have works, is dead being by itself.

⁵ by the power of God, having been guarded through faith to a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time; ⁶ in which you exult; yet a little while, if need be, grieving in manifold trials, ⁷ so that the proving of your faith, much more precious than perishing gold, but having been proved through fire, may be found to praise and honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ; ⁸ whom having not seen, you love; in whom not yet seeing, but believing, you exult with unspeakable and having been glorified,

¹² having your behavior good among the nations, in that which they speak against you as evildoers; by observing your good works, they may glorify God in a day of visitation.

¹ Likewise, wives, submitting yourselves to your own husbands, that even if any disobey the word, through the behavior of the wives, without a word they will be won,

¹⁶ having a good conscience, that while they speak against you as evildoers, they may be shamed, those falsely accusing your good behavior in Christ.

⁸ For these things being in you, and abounding, they will make you not idle, not unfruitful in the full knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁴ My boldness toward you is great. My boasting on your behalf is much. I have been filled with comfort; I overflow with joy on all our trouble.

¹³ For this reason we have been comforted in your comfort, and we rather rejoice more abundantly over the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by all of you.

³ remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love, and the patience of hope of our Lord Jesus Christ before our God and Father,

¹³ And because of this we give thanks to God without ceasing, that having received the Word of hearing from us, you welcomed it as of God, not as a word of men, but as it is, truly the Word of God, which also works in you, the ones believing.

¹⁹ For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of glorying? Are you not even to be before our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?

⁹ For what thanks are we able to return to God concerning you, over all the joy with which we rejoice because of you before our God,

¹⁶ May the Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me, and he was not ashamed of my chain,

²⁰ Yes, brother, that I may have your help in the Lord, refresh my heart in the Lord.

⁴ I rejoiced greatly because I found your children walking in truth, as we received command from the Father.

³ For I rejoiced greatly at the coming of the brothers, also bearing witness of you in the truth, as you walk in truth. ⁴ I have no greater joy than these things, that I hear my children are walking in truth. ⁵ Beloved, you do faithfully whatever you work for the brothers and for the strangers, ⁶ who in love bore witness of you before the church, whom you will do well to send forward worthily of God.

¹² Then having such hope, we use much boldness.

¹ And I myself, Paul, call on you through the meekness and gentleness of Christ (I, who indeed to look upon am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you); ² but I ask, not being present, that I may be bold with the confidence which I think to be daring against some, those having thought of us as walking according to flesh.

⁸ For even if I also somewhat more fully should boast about our authority (which the Lord gave us for building up and not for pulling you down), I will not be put to shame;

²¹ I speak according to dishonor, as if we have been weak. But in whatever anyone dares (I say it in foolishness), I also dare.

⁴ also baseness, and foolish talking, or joking (the things not becoming), but rather thanksgiving.

² But also suffering before and being insulted in Philippi, as you know, we were bold in our God to speak the gospel of God to you in much agony.

⁶ nor seeking glory from men, neither from you, nor from others, having been able to be so with the weight of glory as apostles of Christ.

⁹ Do not cast me off now at the time of my old age. Do not forsake me when my strength fails.

¹⁸ And now that I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not leave me until I have manifested Your strength to the generation, Your power to everyone who is to come.

³¹ The gray head is a crown of glory; it is found in the way of righteousness.

⁴ Even to old age I am He; and I will bear to gray hair; I made, and I will carry; and I will bear and deliver.

¹ Therefore, brothers, I call on you through the compassions of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.

²⁰ Then on behalf of Christ, we are ambassadors, as God is exhorting through us, we beseech on behalf of Christ, Be reconciled to God.

¹ But working together, we also call on you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

¹⁹ But I much more urge you to do this that I may sooner be restored to you.

¹¹ Beloved, I exhort you as temporary residents and pilgrims to abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul;

¹ And David said, Is there yet any left to the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness because of Jonathan? ² And the house of Saul had a servant, and his name was Ziba. And they called him to David. And the king said to him, Are you Ziba? And he said, Your servant! ³ And the king said, Is there not yet a man to the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God to him? And Ziba said to the king, There is yet a son to Jonathan, lame in both feet. ⁴ And the king said to him, Where is he? And Ziba said to the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel in Lodebar. ⁵ And king David sent and took him out of the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, of Lodebar. ⁶ And Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan the son of Saul came to David and fell on his face, and prostrated himself. And David said, Mephibosheth! And he said, Behold, your servant. ⁷ And David said to him, Do not be afraid, for I will certainly show kindness to you because of your father Jonathan. And I will give back to you all the land of your father Saul. And you shall eat bread at my table continually.

⁵ And the king commanded Joab, and Abishai, and Ittai, saying, For my sake deal gently with the young man, with Absalom. And all the people heard as the king commanded the commanders concerning Absalom.

³⁷ Please let your servant return, and I shall die in my own city, near the burying place of my father and my mother. And, behold your servant Chimham! Let him cross over with my lord the king, and you do to him the good in your eyes. ³⁸ And the king said, Chimham shall go over with me, and I shall do to him that which is good in your eyes. Yea, all that you shall choose of me I will do for you.

¹⁷ And one answered out of the crowd, saying, Teacher, I brought my son to You, having a dumb spirit.

¹⁵ For if you should have myriads of teachers in Christ, yet not many fathers; for I fathered you in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

¹⁹ My children, for whom I again travail until Christ should be formed to you,

⁹ with Onesimus the faithful and beloved brother, who is of you. They will make known to you all the things here.

² to Timothy, a true child in the faith: Grace, mercy, peace from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁴ to Titus, a true child according to our common faith. Grace, mercy, peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.

¹ But now the younger ones laugh at me; those whose fathers I would have refused to set with the dogs of my flock. ² Also, what profit for me was the strength of their hands; for full vigor had perished from them?

³⁰ And throw the worthless slave out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of the teeth.

²⁴ for this son of mine was dead, and lived again, and was lost, and was found. And they began to be merry.

³² But to be merry and to rejoice was right, for this brother of yours was dead, and lived again; and being lost, also he was found.

¹⁰ So also when you have done all things commanded you, you say, We are unprofitable slaves, for we have done what we ought to do.

¹² All turned away, they became worthless together, not one is doing goodness, not so much as one!" LXX-Psa. 13:1 -3

¹¹ Only Luke is with me. Taking Mark, bring him with you, for he is useful to me for ministry.

¹⁰ you who then were "not a people, but now are the people" of God; "the one not pitied then but now pitied." Hos. 1:6, 9 2:1, 23

⁶ If your brother, your mother's son, or your son, or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own soul, shall entice you secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which you have not known, you and your fathers,

¹¹ And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son who came out of my loins is seeking my life, and surely now also the Benjamite. Leave him alone, and let him curse, for Jehovah has spoken to him.

²⁰ Is Ephraim My dear son? Or is he a delightful child? For as often as I spoke against him, I earnestly remember him still. So My bowels groan for him; I will surely have pity on him, declares Jehovah.

¹⁴ For if you forgive men their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. ¹⁵ But if you will not forgive men their offenses, neither will your Father forgive your offenses.

²¹ Then coming up to Him, Peter said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times? ²² Jesus said to him, I do not say to you, Until seven times, but, Until seventy times seven. ²³ For this reason the kingdom of Heaven has been compared to a man, a king, who decided to take account with his slaves. ²⁴ And when he began to reckon, one debtor of ten thousand talents was brought near to him. ²⁵ But he not having any to pay, the lord commanded him to be sold, also his wife and children, and all things, as much as he had, even to pay back. ²⁶ Then falling down, the slave bowed the knee to him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay all to you. ²⁷ And being filled with pity, the lord of that slave released him and forgave him the loan. ²⁸ But going out, that slave found one of his fellow slaves who owed him a hundred denarii. And seizing him, he choked him, saying, Pay me whatever you owe. ²⁹ Then falling down at his feet, his fellow slave begged him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay all to you. ³⁰ But he would not, but going away he threw him into prison until he pay back the amount owing. ³¹ But his fellow slaves, seeing the things happening, they were greatly grieved. And coming they reported to their lord all the things happening. ³² Then calling him near, his lord said to him, Wicked slave! I forgave you all that debt, since you begged me. ³³ Ought you not also to favor your fellow slave, as I also favored you? ³⁴ And being angry, his lord delivered him up to the tormentors until he pay back all that debt to him. ³⁵ So also My heavenly Father will do to you unless each of you from your hearts forgive his brother their trespasses.

²⁵ And when you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive it, so that your Father in Heaven may also forgive your sins.

²⁰ And rising up, he came to his father. But he yet being far away, his father saw him and was moved with pity. And running, he fell on his neck and fervently kissed him.

³² And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, having forgiven one another, even as also God forgave you in Christ.

¹⁷ And I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas, and of Fortunatus and Achaicus, because these supplied your lack.

⁷ as it is righteous for me to think this of you all because you have me in your heart, both in my bonds and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you are all sharers of the grace with me.

³⁰ that through the work of Christ he drew near to death, having disregarded his life, that he may fill up your lack of service toward me.

¹ Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy the brother, to Philemon the beloved and our fellow-worker,

¹⁷ And I know, my God, that You try the heart and are pleased with uprightness; I, in the uprightness of my heart, have offered willingly all these things; and now I have watched with joy Your people who are present here offering willingly to You.

³ Your people shall be willing in the day of Your power; in holy adornment from the womb of the dawn, to You is the dew of Your youth.

⁷ Who serves as a soldier at his own wages at any time? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat of its fruit? Or who shepherds a flock and does not eat of the milk of the flock?

¹⁷ For if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if unwillingly, I am entrusted with a stewardship.

²⁴ Not that we rule over your faith, but we are fellow-workers of your joy. For by faith you stand.

¹² For if the eagerness is present, it is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.

⁵ Therefore, I thought it necessary to exhort the brothers, that they go forward to you and arrange beforehand your promised blessing, this to be ready, thus as a blessing and not as greediness.

⁷ Each one as he purposes in his heart, not out of grief or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver. Prov. 22:8

⁸ Because of this, having much boldness in Christ to enjoin you to do what is becoming, ⁹ rather because of love I entreat, being such a one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ;

² Shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight, not by compulsion, but willingly; nor eagerly for base gain, but readily; ³ nor as exercising lordship over the ones allotted to you, but becoming examples of the flock.

⁵ And now do not be grieved, and let no anger be in your eyes because you sold me here for God sent me before you to save life. ⁶ For the famine has been in the midst of the land for two years. And there are still five years in which no plowing and harvest will be . ⁷ And God sent me before you to put a remnant in the land for you, and to keep alive for you a great deliverance. ⁸ And now you did not send me here, but God. And He has placed me for a father to Pharaoh, and for a lord in all his house, and a ruler in all the land of Egypt.

²⁰ And you, you intended evil against me, but God meant it for good, in order to make it as it is this day, to keep a great many people alive.

¹⁰ For the wraths of man thank You; You encircle Yourself with the wraths left over.

⁶ And he who lives in this coast shall say in that day, Behold, this has become of our hope to which we fled for help there, to be delivered from before the king of Assyria; and, How shall we escape?

²⁸ to do whatever Your hand and Your counsel before-determined to be done.

⁸ But do not you be called Rabbi, for One is your Leader, the Christ, and you are all brothers.

¹⁷ And Ananias went away and entered into the house. And putting hands on him he said, Brother Saul, the Lord has sent me, Jesus, the One who appeared to you in the highway on which you came, that you may see and be filled of the Holy Spirit.

²² For the one called a slave in the Lord is a freed man of the Lord. And likewise, the one called a free man is a slave of Christ.

²⁸ But, brothers, we are children of promise according to Isaac. ²⁹ But then, even as he born according to flesh persecuted the one according to Spirit, so also now.

⁵ Slaves, obey your lords according to flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ; ⁶ not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ doing the will of God from the soul, ⁷ serving as slaves with good will to the Lord, and not as to men,

²² Slaves, obey the lords according to flesh in all respects, not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing God.

² And those having believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brothers, but rather let them serve as slaves, because they are believing and beloved ones, those receiving of the good service in return. Teach and exhort these things.

¹ For this reason, holy brothers, called to be partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus,

²² Having purified your souls in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to unpretended brotherly love, love one another fervently out of a pure heart, ²³ having been born again, not by corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through the living word of God, and remaining forever.

¹ Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God. And everyone who loves Him who begets also loves the one who has been born of Him.

⁴⁰ The one receiving you receives Me, and the one receiving Me receives Him who sent Me.

⁴⁸ But answering, He said to the one speaking to Him, Who is My mother? And who are My brothers? ⁴⁹ And stretching out His hand to His disciples, He said, Behold, My mother and My brothers. ⁵⁰ For whoever shall do the will of My Father in Heaven, that one is My brother and sister and mother.

⁵ And whoever will receive one such little child in My name receives Me.

⁴⁰ And answering, the King will say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it to one of these, the least of My brothers, you did it to Me.

¹⁵ And as she and her household were baptized, she entreated Paul, saying, If you have judged me to be believing in the Lord, entering into my house, remain. And she strongly urged us.

²³ If any asks about Titus, he is my partner and a fellow worker for you; or about our brothers, they are messengers of the churches, the glory of Christ.

⁶ for the nations to be joint-heirs, and a joint-body and joint-sharers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,

¹⁰ I entreat you concerning my child Onesimus, whom I fathered in my bonds,

¹² Even receive him, that is, my heart;

¹⁴ For we have become partakers of Christ, if truly we hold the beginning of the assurance firm to the end;

⁵ Hear, my beloved brothers, did not God choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to the ones loving Him?

¹ I, a fellow elder, exhort the elders among you, I being also witness of the sufferings of Christ, and being sharer of the glory about to be revealed:

³ We announce to you what we have seen, and what we have heard, that you also may have fellowship with us. And truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.

⁴ Surely He has borne our sicknesses, and He carried our pain; yet we esteemed Him plagued, smitten by God, and afflicted. ⁵ But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His wounds we ourselves are healed. ⁶ All we like sheep have gone astray; we have each one turned to his own way; and Jehovah made meet in Him the iniquity of all of us. ⁷ He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, but He did not open His mouth. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a ewe before her shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth.

¹ Am I not an apostle? Am I not free? Have I not seen our Lord Jesus Christ? Are you not my work in the Lord? ² If I am not an apostle to others, yet I am indeed to you; for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.

²¹ The greeting with my hand, Paul. ²² If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be a curse. The Lord comes!

² You are our letter, having been inscribed in our hearts, being known and being read by all men,

² Behold, I, Paul, say to you that if you are circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing.

¹¹ See in what large letters I write to you with my hand.

¹⁹ If anyone among you goes astray from the truth, brothers, and anyone turns him back, ²⁰ know that the one turning a sinner from the error of his way will save the soul from death, and will hide a multitude of sins.

² For if I grieved you, who yet will be making me glad, if not the one being grieved by me?

⁴ My boldness toward you is great. My boasting on your behalf is much. I have been filled with comfort; I overflow with joy on all our trouble. ⁵ For, indeed, we coming into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but being troubled in every way, with fightings on the outside and fears on the inside. ⁶ But He who comforts the lowly comforted us by the presence of Titus. ⁷ And not only by his presence, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted over you, telling us your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me, so as for me to rejoice more.

⁸ For God is my witness how I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

¹ Then if there is any comfort in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tendernesses and compassions, ² fulfill my joy, that you think the same, having the same love, one in soul, minding the one thing,

¹ So as, my brothers, ones loved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand firm in the Lord, beloved ones.

¹⁹ For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of glorying? Are you not even to be before our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming? ²⁰ For you are our glory and joy.

⁷ Because of this we were comforted over you, brothers, on all our affliction and distress through your faith, ⁸ for now we live, if you should stand fast in the Lord. ⁹ For what thanks are we able to return to God concerning you, over all the joy with which we rejoice because of you before our God,

¹⁷ Yield to those taking the lead of you, and submit, for they watch for your souls, giving an account, that they may do this with joy, and not with groaning; for this would be no profit to you.

¹⁷ Whoever has the means of life of the world, and sees his brother having need, and shuts up his bowels from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

⁴ I have no greater joy than these things, that I hear my children are walking in truth.

³ And I wrote this same thing to you, lest coming I might have grief from those of whom I ought to rejoice, trusting in you all that my joy is the joy of all of you.

¹⁶ Therefore, I rejoice, that in everything I am fully assured in you.

²² And we sent with them our brother whom we often proved in many things to be earnest, and now much more earnest by the great assurance which I have toward you.

¹⁰ I trust as to you in the Lord that you will think nothing else, but that the one troubling you shall bear the judgment, whoever he may be.

⁴ But we are persuaded in the Lord as to you, that whatever things we have commanded you, you both do and you will do.

²³ And having appointed him a day, more came to him in the lodging, to whom he expounded, earnestly testifying the kingdom of God and persuading them the things concerning Jesus, both from the law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning until evening.

²⁴ whenever I may go into Spain, I will come to you; for I hope in traveling through to see you and to be set forward there by you, if first I may be filled of you in part.

³⁰ But I exhort you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf, ³¹ that I be delivered from the disobedient ones in Judea, and that my ministry, which is to Jerusalem, may be acceptable to the saints, ³² that I may come to you in joy through the will of God, and that I may be refreshed with you.

¹¹ you also laboring together for us in prayer, that the gracious gift by many persons be the cause of thanksgiving through many for us.

¹⁹ For I know that this will result in deliverance to me through your petition and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, Job 13:16

²⁵ And being persuaded of this, I know that I will remain and will continue with you all for your advancement and joy of faith, ²⁶ so that your glorying may abound in Christ Jesus in me through my presence with you again.

²⁴ But I trust in the Lord that I myself also will come soon.

²³ You know the brother, Timothy, having been freed, with whom if I come sooner, I will see you.

¹⁶ Confess faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous one has great strength, having been made effective.

¹² Having many things to write to you, I do not intend to speak by means of paper and ink, but I am hoping to come to you, and to speak mouth to mouth, that our joy may be full.

⁷ Greet Andronicus and Junias, my kinsmen and fellow prisoners, noted among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.

⁷ even as you also learned from Epaphras our beloved fellow-slave, who is a faithful minister of Christ for you,

¹⁰ Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, greets you, also Mark the cousin of Barnabas, about whom you received orders. If he comes to you, receive him.

¹² Epaphras greets you, he of you, a slave of Christ, always striving for you in prayers, that you may stand full-grown and being complete in every will of God.

¹² And considering, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, the one being surnamed Mark, where many were gathered together, and praying.

²⁵ And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, having fulfilled the service, and having taken with them the one surnamed Mark.

¹³ And putting out from Paphos with those around him, Paul came to Perga of Pamphylia. And separating from them, John returned to Jerusalem.

³⁷ But Barnabas purposed to take John with them, the one having been called Mark. ³⁸ But Paul thought it well not to take that one with them, he having withdrawn from them from Pamphylia, and not going with them to the work. ³⁹ Then there was sharp feeling, so as to separate them from each other. And taking Mark, Barnabas sailed away to Cyprus.

²⁹ And all the city was filled with confusion. And they rushed with one passion into the theater, keeping a firm grip on Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians, traveling companions of Paul.

² And boarding a ship of Adramyttium which was about to sail alongside Asian places, we set sail, Aristarchus a Macedonian of Thessalonica being with us.

¹⁴ Luke the beloved physician greets you, also Demas.

¹⁰ For Demas deserted me, loving the present age, and he went to Thessalonica. Crescens went to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. ¹¹ Only Luke is with me. Taking Mark, bring him with you, for he is useful to me for ministry.

¹ Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy the brother, to Philemon the beloved and our fellow-worker, ² and to Apphia the beloved, and to Archippus our fellow-soldier, and to the church in your house:

⁸ Therefore, we ought to entertain such men, that we may become co-workers in the truth.

²⁰ And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

²³ Gaius, the host of all the church and me, greets you. Erastus, the steward of the city, and Quartus the brother, greet you.
