11 Then they induced some men to be saying, We have heard him speaking blasphemous words against Moses and God!
12 And they stirred up the people and the elders and the scribes. And coming on, they together seized him and led him into the sanhedrin.
13 And they stood up false witnesses, who were saying, This man does not cease speaking blasphemous words against this holy place and the Law;
14 for we have heard him saying that this Jesus the Nazarene will destroy this place and will change the customs which Moses delivered over to us.
15 And having looked intently at him, all those having sat in the sanhedrin, saw his face as if it were the face of an angel.

Acts 8:5-40
5 And going down to a city of Samaria, Philip proclaimed Christ to them.
6 And with one passion the crowds heeded that being said by Philip when they heard and saw the many miracles which he did.
7 For many came out from those having unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice. And many who had been paralyzed and lame were healed.
8 And great joy was in that city.
9 But a certain man named Simon had long been conjuring in the city and amazing the nation of Samaria, claiming himself to be some great one.
10 All were paying attention to him, from small to great, saying, This one is the power of God, which is great.
11 And they were paying attention to him because for a long time he had amazed them with his conjuring.
12 But when they believed Philip preaching the gospel, the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
13 And Simon himself also believed, and being baptized was continuing steadfastly with Philip. And seeing miracles and mighty works happening, he was amazed.
14 And the apostles in Jerusalem hearing that Samaria had received the Word of God, they sent Peter and John to them,
15 who going down prayed concerning them so that they may receive the Holy Spirit.
16 For He had not yet fallen on any one of them, but they were only being baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
17 Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
18 But Simon having seen that the Holy Spirit is given through the laying on of the hands of the apostles, he offered them money,
19 saying, Give to me also this authority that to whomever I may lay on the hands he may receive the Holy Spirit.
20 But Peter said to him, May your silver be with you into perdition, because you thought to get the gift of God through money.
21 There is neither part nor lot to you in this matter, for your heart is not upright before the face of God.
22 Repent, then, from this wickedness of yours, and petition God if perhaps you will be forgiven the thought of your heart.
23 For I see you being in the gall of bitterness and a bundle of unrighteousness.
24 And answering Simon said, You petition to the Lord for me, so that nothing of which you have spoken may come on me.
25 Then indeed having earnestly testified and having spoken the Word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, even having announced the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.
26 But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, Rise up and go along south on the highway going down to Jerusalem to Gaza. This is a deserted place .
27 And rising up he went. And, behold, an Ethiopian man, a eunuch, one in power with Candace the queen of Ethiopians, who was over all her treasure, who had come to Jerusalem to worship!
28 And he was returning. And sitting on his chariot he read the prophet Isaiah.
29 And the Spirit said to Philip, Go near and join yourself to this chariot.
30 And running near Philip heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, Indeed, do you know what you are reading?
31 But he said, How should I be able except someone shall guide me? And he called Philip near, to come up to sit with him.
32 And the content of the Scripture which he was reading was this: "He was led as a sheep to slaughter, and as a lamb voiceless before the one shearing it, so He does not open His mouth.
33 In His humiliation His judgment was taken away; and who will recount His generation? For His life is taken away from the earth." Isa. 53:7, 8
34 And answering the eunuch said to Philip, I ask you, about whom does the prophet say this? About himself, or about some other one?
35 And opening his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture, Philip announced the gospel to him, Jesus.
36 And as they were going along the highway they came on some water. And the eunuch said, Behold, water! What prevents me from being baptized?
37 And Philip said, If you believe from all the heart, it is lawful. And answering he said, I believe Jesus Christ to be the Son of God.
38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both went down into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
39 But when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip. And the eunuch did not see him any more; for he went his way rejoicing.
40 And Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through he preached the gospel to all the cities until he came to Caesarea.

3 you being most of all expert, knowing of all the customs and questions also among the Jews. Because of this, I beg you patiently to hear me.
Acts 28:17
17 And after three days, it happened that Paul called together those being chief of the Jews. And they coming together, he said to them, Men, brothers, I did nothing contrary to the people, or to the ancestral customs. I was delivered a prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans,
Galatians 3:19
19 Why the Law then? It was added because of transgressions, until the Seed should come, to whom it had been promised, being ordained through angels in a mediator's hand.
Galatians 3:23
23 But before the coming of faith, we were guarded under law, having been locked up to the faith being about to be revealed.
Galatians 4:3-5
3 So we also, when we were infants, we were under the elements of the world, being enslaved.
4 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, having come into being out of a woman, having come under Law,
5 that He might redeem the ones under law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
Hebrews 7:11-19
11 Truly, then, if perfection was through the Levitical priestly office (for the people had been given Law under it), why yet need for another priest to arise according to the order of Melchizedek and not to be called according to the order of Aaron?
12 For the priestly office having been changed, of necessity a change of law also occurs.
13 For the One of whom these things are said has partaken of another tribe, from which no one has given devotion at the altar.
14 For it is clear that our Lord has risen out of Judah, as to which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.
15 And it is still more abundantly clear that if another priest arises according to the likeness of Melchizedek,
16 who has not become so according to a law of a fleshly command, but according to the power of an indissoluble life.
17 For it is testified, "You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek." Psa. 110:4
18 For a voiding of the preceding command comes about because of its weakness and unprofitableness.
19 For the Law perfected nothing, but a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.
Hebrews 8:6-13
6 But now He has gotten a more excellent ministry, also by so much as He is a Mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises.
7 For if that first was faultless, place would not have been sought for a second.
8 For finding fault, He said to them, "Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and I will make an end on the house of Israel and on the house of Judah; a new covenant shall be,
9 not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day of My taking hold of their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I did not regard them, says the Lord.
10 Because this is the covenant which I will covenant with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, giving My laws into their mind, and I will write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."
11 "And they shall no more teach each one his neighbor, and each one his brother, saying, Know the Lord; because all shall know Me, from the least of them to their great ones.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousnesses, and I will not at all remember their sins and their lawless deeds." LXX-Jer. 38:31-34; MT-Jer. 31:31-34
13 In the saying, New, He has made the first old. And the thing having been made old and growing aged is near disappearing.
Hebrews 9:9-11
9 which was a parable for the present time, according to which both gifts and sacrifices are offered, but as regards conscience, not being able to perfect the one serving,
10 but only on foods and drinks, and various washings, and fleshly ordinances, until the time of setting things right has been imposed.
11 But Christ having appeared as a High Priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation,
Hebrews 10:1-18
1 For the Law had a shadow of the coming good things, not the image itself of those things. Appearing year by year with the same sacrifices, which they offer continually, they never are able to perfect the ones drawing near.
2 Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, because those serving did not still have conscience of sins, having once for all been cleansed?
3 But in these there is a remembrance of sins year by year,
4 for it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
5 For this reason, coming into the world, He says, "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but You prepared a body for Me.
6 You did not delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices concerning sins."
7 "Then I said, Lo, I come, in the heading of the Book, it was written concerning Me, to do Your will, O God." LXX-Psa. 39:7 -9; MT-Psa. 40:6 -8
8 Above, saying, "You did not desire nor were pleased with sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and sacrifices concerning sins," (which are offered according to the Law),
9 then He said, "Lo, I come to do Your will, O God." He takes away the first in order that He may set up the second;
10 by which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And indeed every priest stands day by day ministering, and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.
12 But He, offering but one sacrifice for sins, "sat down" in perpetuity " at the right hand " of God,
13 from then on expecting "until His enemies are placed as a footstool" of His feet. Psa. 110:1
14 For by one offering He has perfected in perpetuity the ones being sanctified.
15 And the Holy Spirit witnesses to us also. For after having said before,
16 "This is the covenant which I will covenant to them after those days, says the Lord: Giving My laws on their hearts, and I will write them on their minds;"
17 also He adds, "I will not at all still remember their sins" and their lawless deeds. LXX-Jer. 38:33, 34 MT-Jer. 31:33, 34
18 But where remission of these is, there is no longer offering concerning sins.
Hebrews 12:26-28
26 whose voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, "Yet once" "I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens." Hag. 2:6
27 Now the words "Yet once" make clear the removal of the things being shaken, as having been made, so that the things not being shaken may remain.
28 For this reason, receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us have grace, by which we may serve God pleasingly, with reverence and awe;
Exodus 34:29-35
29 And it happened as Moses was going down from Mount Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony being in Moses' hand as he went down from the mountain, Moses did not know that the skin of his face had become luminous through His speaking with him.
30 And Aaron and all the sons of Israel saw Moses. And, behold! The skin of his face had become luminous. And they were afraid to draw near to him.
31 And Moses called to them. And Aaron and all the leaders among the congregation turned back to him. And Moses spoke to them.
32 And afterwards all the sons of Israel drew near. And he commanded them all which Jehovah had spoken with him in Mount Sinai.
33 And Moses finished speaking with them, and he put a veil on his face.
34 And as Moses came in before Jehovah to speak with Him, he took off the veil until he went out. And he would go out and speak to the sons of Israel that which he was commanded.
35 And the sons of Israel would see the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face had become luminous. And Moses would put back the veil on his face until he went in to speak with Him.
Ecclesiastes 8:1
1 Who is as the wise? And who knows the meaning of a thing? A man's wisdom makes his face shine, and the strength of his face is changed.
Matthew 13:43
43 Then the righteous will shine out like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. The one having ears to hear, let him hear.
Matthew 17:2
2 And He was transfigured before them, and His face shone like the sun, and His clothing became white as the light.
2 Corinthians 3:7-8
2 Corinthians 3:18
18 But we all with our face having been unveiled, having beheld the glory of the Lord in a mirror, are being changed into the same image from glory to glory, as from the Lord Spirit.
