¹² From the commandment of his lips, indeed* I have not departed; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily food.

¹⁰ But* it will still be my consolation, and I would recoil in _⌊unrelenting_⌋* pain, for I have not denied the words of the Holy One.

²² Please receive instruction from his mouth, and place his words in your heart.

⁹ The fear of Yahweh is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of Yahweh are true; they are righteous altogether, ¹⁰ more desirable than gold, even much fine gold; and sweeter than honey, even honey in the comb.

¹¹ In my heart I have hidden your word,* so that I may not sin against you.

¹⁰³ How smooth* are your words* to my palate, more than honey in my mouth.

¹²⁷ Therefore I love your commands more than gold, even fine gold.

¹⁶ Your words were found and I ate them, and your words became to me as jubilation, even as the joy of my heart, for your name is called on me, O Yahweh God of hosts.

⁴² And the Lord said, "Who then is the faithful wise manager whom the master will put in charge over his servants to give them* their* food allowance at the right time?

⁴⁶ the master of that slave will come on a day that he does not expect and at an hour that he does not know, and will cut him in two and assign his place with the unbelievers.

³² But he said to them, "I have food to eat that you do not know about."

³⁴ Jesus said to them, "My food is that I do the will of the one who sent me and complete his work.

⁶⁶ For this reason many of his disciples _⌊drew back_⌋* and were not walking with him any longer. ⁶⁷ So Jesus said to the twelve, "You do not want to go away also, do you?"* ⁶⁸ Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. ⁶⁹ And we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God."

³¹ Then Jesus said to those Jews who had believed him, "If you continue in my word you are truly my disciples,

²² strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them* to continue in the faith and saying,* "Through many persecutions* it is necessary for us to enter into the kingdom of God."

³⁸ But my righteous one will live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul is not well pleased with him."* ³⁹ But we are not among those who shrink back to destruction, but among those who have faith to the preservation of our souls.

² like newborn infants long for the unadulterated spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up to salvation,

¹⁹ They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us. But they went out*, in order that it might be shown that all of them are not of us.
