²⁸ Say not unto your neighbor, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when you have it with you.

¹³ You shall not defraud your neighbor, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with you all night until the morning.

¹² And if the man be poor, you shall not sleep with his pledge: ¹³ In any case you shall deliver him the pledge again when the sun goes down, that he may sleep in his own clothing, and bless you: and it shall be righteousness unto you before the LORD your God. ¹⁴ You shall not oppress a hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of your brethren, or of your strangers that are in your land within your gates: ¹⁵ Each day you shall give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and sets his heart upon it: lest he cry against you unto the LORD, and it be sin unto you.

¹ Boast not yourself of tomorrow; for you know not what a day may bring forth.

¹⁰ Whatsoever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, where you go.

⁶ In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening withhold not your hand: for you know not which shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both alike shall be good.

¹¹ Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which you have.

³ Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, you may be ready:
