⁷ Excellent speech becomes not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.

³ The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spoke to me, He that rules over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.

¹² Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert justice.

¹⁶ But unto the wicked God says, What have you to do to declare my statutes, or that you should take my covenant in your mouth? ¹⁷ Seeing you hate instruction, and cast my words behind you.

³ I will set no wicked thing before my eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. ⁴ A perverse heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person. ⁵ Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him will I cut off: he that has a haughty look and a proud heart will I not endure.
