²⁰ He that has a crooked heart finds no good: and he that has a perverse tongue falls into calamity.

²⁶ With the pure you will show yourself pure; and with the devious you will show yourself shrewd.

³² For the perverse is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous.

¹² A worthless person, a wicked man, walks with a perverse mouth. ¹³ He winks with his eyes, he signals with his feet, he motions with his fingers; ¹⁴ Perversity is in his heart, he devises evil continually; he sows discord. ¹⁵ Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.

¹³ The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogance, and the evil way, and the perverse mouth, do I hate.

¹⁰ He that winks with the eye causes trouble: but a prating fool shall fall.

¹⁴ Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.

³¹ The mouth of the just brings forth wisdom: but the perverse tongue shall be cut out.
