¹ (8:1) For the Leader; upon the Gittith. A Psalm of David. (8:2) O LORD, our Lord, how glorious is Thy name in all the earth! whose majesty is rehearsed above the heavens.

¹¹ Who is like unto Thee, O LORD, among the mighty? who is like unto Thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

⁵ And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. ⁶ And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed: 'The LORD, the LORD, God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth; ⁷ keeping mercy unto the thousandth generation, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and unto the fourth generation.'

⁵⁸ If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and awful Name, the LORD thy God;

²⁷ But will God in very truth dwell on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain Thee; how much less this house that I have builded!

⁹ (8:10) O LORD, our Lord, how glorious is Thy name in all the earth!

⁵ (36:6) Thy lovingkindness, O LORD, is in the heavens; Thy faithfulness reacheth unto the skies.

⁸ Yea indeed, therefore I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord; for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but refuse, that I may gain Christ,

²⁶ For such a high priest became us, holy, guileless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens,

⁶ And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunders, saying, Hallelujah; for our Lord God, the Almighty, reigneth.
