¹ Then sang Deborah, and Barak the sonne of Abinoam the same day, saying, ² Praise ye the Lord for the auenging of Israel, and for the people that offred themselues willingly.

¹ And Hannah prayed, and said, Mine heart reioyceth in the Lord, mine horne is exalted in the Lord: my mouth is enlarged ouer mine enemies, because I reioyce in thy saluation. ² There is none holy as the Lord: yea, there is none besides thee, and there is no god like our God. ³ Speake no more presumptuously: let not arrogancie come out of your mouth: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him enterprises are established. ⁴ The bow and the mightie men are broken, and the weake haue girded themselues with strength. ⁵ They that were full, are hired foorth for bread, and the hungrie are no more hired, so that the barren hath borne seuen: and shee that had many children, is feeble. ⁶ The Lord killeth and maketh aliue: bringeth downe to the graue and raiseth vp. ⁷ The Lord maketh poore and maketh rich: bringeth lowe, and exalteth. ⁸ He raiseth vp ye poore out of the dust, and lifteth vp the begger from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherite the seate of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lordes, and he hath set the world vpon them. ⁹ Hee will keepe the feete of his Saintes, and the wicked shall keepe silence in darkenes: for in his owne might shall no man be strong. ¹⁰ The Lordes aduersaries shall be destroyed, and out of heauen shall he thunder vpon them: the Lord shall iudge the endes of the worlde, and shall giue power vnto his King, and exalt the horne of his Anoynted.

¹⁷ And Mattaniah, the sonne of Micha, the sonne of Zabdi, the sonne of Asaph was the chiefe to begin the thankesgiuing and prayer: and Bakbukiah the second of his brethren, and Abda, the sonne of Shammua, the sonne of Galal, the sonne of Ieduthun.

¹⁴ That I may shewe all thy praises within the gates of the daughter of Zion, and reioyce in thy saluation.

⁵ But I trust in thy mercie: mine heart shall reioyce in thy saluation: I will sing to the Lord, because he hath delt louingly with me.

² The Lord is my rocke, and my fortresse, and he that deliuereth me, my God and my strength: in him will I trust, my shield, the horne also of my saluation, and my refuge.

⁵ That we may reioyce in thy saluation, and set vp the banner in the Name of our God, when the Lord shall performe all thy petitions.

⁹ Then my soule shalbe ioyfull in the Lord: it shall reioyce in his saluation.

¹⁵ Open thou my lippes, O Lord, and my mouth shall shewe foorth thy praise.

⁸ Let my mouth be filled with thy praise, and with thy glory euery day.

¹⁰ All the hornes of the wicked also will I breake: but the hornes of the righteous shalbe exalted.

¹⁷ For thou art the glory of their strength, and by thy fauour our hornes shall be exalted.

²⁴ My trueth also and my mercie shall be with him, and in my Name shall his horne be exalted.

¹⁰ But thou shalt exalt mine horne, like the vnicornes, and I shalbe anoynted with fresh oyle.

⁸ His heart is stablished: therefore he will not feare, vntill he see his desire vpon his enemies. ⁹ He hath distributed and giuen to ye poore: his righteousnesse remaineth for euer: his horne shalbe exalted with glory.

¹⁴ The Lord is my strength and song: for he hath beene my deliuerance.

² Beholde, God is my saluation: I will trust, and will not feare: for ye Lord God is my strength and song: he also is become my saluation. ³ Therefore with ioy shall ye drawe waters out of the welles of saluation.

¹⁸ But I will reioyce in the Lord: I will ioy in the God of my saluation.

⁴⁶ Then Marie sayde, My soule magnifieth the Lord, ⁴⁷ And my spirite reioyceth in God my Sauiour. ⁴⁸ For hee hath looked on the poore degree of his seruaunt: for beholde, from henceforth shall all ages call me blessed, ⁴⁹ Because hee that is mightie, hath done for me great things, and holy is his Name. ⁵⁰ And his mercie is from generation to generation on them that feare him. ⁵¹ Hee hath shewed strength with his arme: hee hath scattered the proude in the imagination of their hearts. ⁵² Hee hath put downe the mighty from their seates, and exalted them of lowe degree. ⁵³ Hee hath filled the hungrie with good things, and sent away the rich emptie. ⁵⁴ Hee hath vpholden Israel his seruaunt to be mindefull of his mercie ⁵⁵ (As hee hath spoken to our fathers, to wit, to Abraham, and his seede) for euer. ⁵⁶ And Marie abode with her about three moneths: after, shee returned to her owne house.

⁶⁹ And hath raised vp the horne of saluation vnto vs, in the house of his seruant Dauid,

¹¹ And not onely so, but we also reioyce in God through our Lord Iesus Christ, by whom we haue nowe receiued the atonement.

³ For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirite, and reioyce in Christ Iesus, and haue no confidence in the flesh:

⁴ Reioyce in the Lord alway, againe I say, reioyce.

⁶ Be nothing carefull, but in all thinges let your requestes be shewed vnto God in praier, and supplication with giuing of thankes.

⁸ Whome yee haue not seene, and yet loue him, in whome nowe, though yee see him not, yet doe you beleeue, and reioyce with ioy vnspeakeable and glorious,

²⁰ O heauen, reioyce of her, and ye holy Apostles and Prophets: for God hath punished her to be reuenged on her for your sakes.
