¹ Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man. ² For thou art the God of my strength; why hast thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? ³ O send out thy light and thy truth; let them lead me: let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles. ⁴ Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: and upon the harp will I praise thee, O God, my God. ⁵ Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, [who is] the health of my countenance, and my God.

¹⁵ The LORD therefore be judge, and give sentence between me and thee, and see, and plead my cause, and deliver me out of thine hand.

⁹ And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

⁷ The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart hath trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will praise him.

⁴ Pluck me out of the net that they have laid privily for me; for thou art my strong hold.

³¹ but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.

²⁴ Only in the LORD, shall one say unto me, is righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come, and all they that were incensed against him shall be ashamed.

¹² And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD.

⁴ Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. ⁵ Guide me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

⁹ For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

¹¹ Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

⁴ These things I remember, and pour out my soul within me, how I went with the throng, and led them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, a multitude keeping holyday.

⁴ There is a river, the streams whereof make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High.

³ He shall send from heaven, and save me, [when] he that would swallow me up reproacheth; Selah God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.

⁸ Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.

²⁰ Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, [and] the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

⁶ I will wash mine hands in innocency; so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:

² Give thanks unto the LORD with harp: sing praises unto him with the psaltery of ten strings.

⁶ O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore do I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and the Hermons, from the hill Mizar.

⁸ Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake right early.

²² I will also praise thee with the psaltery, [even] thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing praises with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel. ²³ My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing praises unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.

² Take up the psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.

¹⁰ I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with a garland, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

¹⁷ For though the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: ¹⁸ Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

¹¹ and not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

⁸ And when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having each one a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
