¹ Now all the publicans and sinners were drawing near unto him for to hear him.

²⁷ Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.

¹⁰ And it came to pass, as he sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with Jesus and his disciples. ¹¹ And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with the publicans and sinners? ¹² But when he heard it, he said, They that are whole have no need of a physician, but they that are sick. ¹³ But go ye and learn what [this] meaneth, I desire mercy, and not sacrifice: for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.

²⁸ But what think ye? A man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work today in the vineyard. ²⁹ And he answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented himself, and went. ³⁰ And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I [go], sir: and went not. ³¹ Whether of the twain did the will of his father? They say, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, that the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

²⁹ And Levi made him a great feast in his house: and there was a great multitude of publicans and of others that were sitting at meat with them. ³⁰ And the Pharisees and their scribes murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with the publicans and sinners? ³¹ And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole have no need of a physician; but they that are sick. ³² I am not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.

²⁹ And all the people when they heard, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.

³⁰ And behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

²⁰ And the law came in beside, that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace did abound more exceedingly:
