¹⁶ And he that pronounces the name of the LORD shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him; the same with the stranger as with the natural, if he pronounces the Name, he shall be put to death.

⁷ Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain for the LORD will not hold guiltless anyone that takes his name in vain.

¹⁰ and set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear witness against him, saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. ¹⁰ O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?

¹⁸ ¶ Remember this, that the enemy has spoken against the LORD and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.

²⁰ For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.

³¹ Therefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven unto men.

⁶⁶ What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.

²⁸ Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men and whatever blasphemies with which they shall blaspheme, ²⁹ but whosoever shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit shall never have forgiveness but is obligated to eternal judgment,
