² Oh that in weighing, my vexation were weighed and my calamity lifted in the balances together! ³ For now it is heavier than the sand of the sea; so I gulp my words; ⁴ for the arrows of Shadday are within me, whereof the poison drinks up my spirit; the terrors of Elohah line up against me.

¹¹ Also I - I spare not my mouth; I word in the tribulation of my spirit; I meditate in the bitterness of my soul.

¹⁶ I spurn; I live not eternally; let me decease; for my days are vanity.

²¹ I - integrious, yet I know not my soul; I spurn my life.

¹⁵ If I be wicked, woe to me; and if I be justified, yet I lift not my head. I satiate with abasement; you see my humiliation; ¹⁶ for it rises; you hunt me as a roaring lion; you turn back; you show yourself marvellous in me;

⁸ and so be it, when the sun rises, Elohim numbers a vehement east wind; and the sun smites on the head of Yonah so that he languishes; and asks of his soul to die, and says, It is better for me to die than to live.

You are just, O Yah Veh, O that I plead with you - word to you of judgments! Why prospers the way of the wicked? Why are all they serene - who in dealing covertly, deal covertly? ² You planted them; yes, they root: they grow; yes, they work fruit: you are near in their mouth and far from their reins. ³ And you, O Yah Veh, know me: you see me and proof my heart toward you: tear them as flock for the slaughter and hallow them for the day of slaughter.

⁸ But beloved, hide not from this: that one day with Yah Veh is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.

¹⁹ in the sweat of your nostrils, eat your bread, until you return to the soil; for thereof you were taken: for dust you are and to dust you return.

¹¹ Woe to the wicked - evil: for the dealing of his hands works to himself.

⁵ Then I say, Woe is me! for I am mute; because I am a man of foul lips and I settle midst a people of fouled lips: for my eyes see the Sovereign, Yah Veh Sabaoth.

⁵ You meet him who rejoices and works justness - who remembers you in your ways: behold, you enrage when we sin: in them is eternity and we are saved. ⁶ And we are all as foul - all of us and all our justnesses as menstrual clothes: and we wither as a leaf - all of us and our perversities, as the wind, bear us away:

²⁰ See, O Yah Veh, for I tribulate; my inwards foam; my heart turns within me; in rebelling, I rebelled: outwardly the sword bereaves; as death in the house:

THE FIFTH LAMENTATION
Remember, O Yah Veh, what becomes us; look and see our reproach: ² our inheritance is turned to strangers; our houses to strangers: ³ we are orphans and fatherless; our mothers as widows: ⁴ we drank our water for money; our timber comes at a price; ⁵ they pursue our necks; we labor and rest not: ⁶ we gave a hand to the Misrayim - to Ashshuriym, to satisfy with bread; ⁷ our fathers sinned and are not; and we bear their perversities: ⁸ servants reign over us; no one separates us from their hand: ⁹ we get our bread by our souls because of the sword of the wilderness: ¹⁰ our skin shrivels as an oven because of the raging famine. ¹¹ They humble the women in Siyon and the virgins in the cities of Yah Hudah; ¹² governors are hanged by their hand; the faces of elders are not esteemed: ¹³ they lift the young men to grind and the lads stumble under the timber: ¹⁴ the elders shabbathize from the portal - the young men from their strumming: ¹⁵ the joy of our heart shabbathizes; our round dance turns into mourning; ¹⁶ the crown is fallen from our head; woe to us, for we sinned! ¹⁷ For this our heart bleeds; for these our eyes darken. ¹⁸ For the mountain of Siyon is desolate; the foxes walk on it. ¹⁹ You, O Yah Veh, settle eternally; your throne from generation to generation. ²⁰ Why forget us in perpetuity? - forsake us for length of days of time? ²¹ Return us to you, O Yah Veh and we return; renew our days as of antiquity. ²² For in spurning, you spurn us; you enrage mightily against us.

¹⁸ and you return and see between the just and the wicked, between him who serves Elohim and between him who serves him not.

¹⁰ So likewise you, whenever you do all you are ordained, word, We are useless servants: we do what we are indebted to do.

⁸ but to the rivalrous who indeed distrust the truth but obey injustice, fury and wrath, ⁹ tribulation and distress upon every soul of humanity who works evil - both of the Yah Hudiy first and also of the Hellene;

²⁹ If these men die the common death of all humanity, or if they be visited after the visitation of all humanity; then Yah Veh has not sent me: ³⁰ but if Yah Veh creates a creation and the soil gapes her mouth and swallows them with all they have, and they descend alive into sheol; then understand that these men scorn Yah Veh.

⁵⁹ then Yah Veh makes your strokes marvelous and the strokes of your seed, great strokes and trustworthy; and evil sicknesses, trustworthy:

⁹ who works great - not to be probed; marvels without number;

¹³ I equate until morning; as a lion, thus he breaks all my bones: from day to night you shalam me.

¹⁰ he is to me as a bear lurking - a lion in coverts:

⁷ And I am to them as a roaring lion: as a leopard by the way I observe them: ⁸ I meet them as a bear bereaved and rip the treasure of their heart; and there I devour them as a roaring lion: as the wild live being of the field, split them.

⁸ The lion roars, who awes not? Adonay Yah Veh words, who prophesies not?

²¹ I go out full and Yah Veh turns me back. Why call me Noomiy, seeing Yah Veh answers against me and Shadday vilifies me?

⁸ you pluck me for a witness; my emaciation rises within me and answers to my face:

⁶ know now that Elohah twisted me and surrounded me with his lair. ⁷ Behold, I cry from violence, but no answer; I cry, but no judgment: ⁸ he walls in my way so I cannot pass; and sets darkness in my paths: ⁹ he strips me of my honor and turns aside the crown from my head: ¹⁰ he pulls me down all around, and I go; and he plucks my hope as a tree: ¹¹ He kindles his wrath against me and fabricates me as one of his tribulators.

¹⁹ El hears and answers them - he who settled from antiquity. Selah. He neither changes, nor awes Elohim;

¹¹ Moab relaxes from his youth and rests on his dregs - neither poured out from instrument to instrument nor gone into exile: so his taste stands within him and his scent changes not.

¹⁰ because it neither shut the doors of my belly, nor hide toil from my eyes. ¹¹ Why died I not from the womb? - expire when I came from the belly?

²⁰ And the eyes of the wicked finish off and flight destructs from them and their hope is as the expiration of the soul.

¹⁰ the mighty dies and decays; yes, humanity expires - and where is he?

¹⁰ Woe is me, my mother, that you birthed me - a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I neither lent on usury nor men lent to me on usury; every one of them abases me.

¹⁴ Curse the day I was birthed; bless not the day my mother birthed me. ¹⁵ Curse the man who evangelized to my father, saying, A male son is birthed to you; in cheering, cheer him: ¹⁶ so be that man, as the cities Yah Veh turned against and sighed not - to hear the cry in the morning, and the shout at noon time: ¹⁷ because he executed me not from the womb that my mother become my tomb and her womb eternally great. ¹⁸ Why came I forth from the womb - to see toil and grief? To finish off my days with shame?

²⁴ The Son of humanity indeed goes exactly as scribed concerning him: but woe to that human through whom the Son of humanity is betrayed! it had been good for that human if he had not been birthed.

⁸ as a snail dissolving, they pass away; as the miscarriage of a woman, they see not the sun.

⁶ my days are swifter than a weaver - finished off without hope. ⁷ O remember that my life is wind/spirit; my eye returns not to see good.

¹⁶ I spurn; I live not eternally; let me decease; for my days are vanity. ¹⁷ What is man, that you greaten him? - that you set your heart on him? ¹⁸ - that you visit him every morning? - and proof him every blink? ¹⁹ Until when look you not from me? - nor loose me until I swallow my spit? ²⁰ I sinned; what do I to you, O you guardian of humanity? Why set me as a target against you, so that I am a burden to myself? ²¹ And why lift you not my rebellion and pass away my perversity? for now I lie in the dust; and you seek me early - but I am not.

⁹ - for we are of yesterday and know naught, because our days on earth are a shadow.

²⁵ My days are swifter than a runner; they flee away; they see no good; ²⁶ they pass away as the ships of yearning - as the eagle pounces for food.

²¹ remove your palm far from me and let not your terror frighten me.

¹ Humanity, birthed of a woman, is short of days and satiated with commotion.

⁵ Behold, you give my days as a palm span; my transcience is as naught in front of you; verily all humanity is stationed in vanity. Selah.

¹³ O look on me, that I may relax, ere I go hence and am no more.

¹⁵ Man - his days are as grass - as a blossom of the field, thus he blossoms. ¹⁶ For the wind overpasses and is not; and recognizes the place no more:

²³ But now he died. Why fast I? Can I return him? I go to him, but he returns not to me.

¹⁴ for in dying, we die and are as water poured on the earth, which is not gathered; because Elohim takes not away a soul: yet he fabricates fabrications, that his expelled not be expelled from him:

⁵ that darkness and the shadow of death redeem it; that a cloudiness tabernacle on it; that the eclipses of the day frighten it;

¹³ For now I lie down and rest; had I slept, then had I been at rest,

⁸ The eye of him who sees me lurks not; your eyes are on me, and I am not. ⁹ the cloud finishes off and goes; thus he who descends to sheol ascends not again; ¹⁰ he neither returns to his house, nor his place recognizes him again.

¹⁰ the mighty dies and decays; yes, humanity expires - and where is he? ¹¹ The waters gad about from the sea and the flood parches and dries: ¹² thus man lies down and rises not; until the heavens be no more they waken not - waken not from their sleep. ¹³ Who gives, that you hide me in sheol? - that you secret me, until your wrath turns? - that you set me a statute and remember me? ¹⁴ If the mighty die, enlivens he? All the days of my hostility, I wait - until my change comes.

²² When years of number come, I go the way of no return.

⁴ Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I awe no evil; for you are with me; your scion and your crutch sigh over me:

⁶ You place me in the nethermost well - in darkness - in the deeps:

¹¹ Is your mercy scribed in the tomb? - your trustworthiness in Abaddon? ¹² - your marvels known in the dark? - your justness in the land of oblivion?

¹¹ I say, I see not Yah - Yah in the land of the living: I scan humanity no more with the settlers of the deceased.

⁶ And said not, Where is Yah Veh who ascended us from the land of Misrayim? Who carried us through the wilderness - a land of plains and of chasms - a land of parch and of the shadow of death - a land where no man passed through and where no human settled?

²² There is neither darkness nor shadow of death where the doers of mischief hide.

¹⁷ Expose you the portals of death? See you the portals of the shadow of death?

¹⁹ though you crushed us in the place of monsters and covered us with the shadow of death.

¹² - your marvels known in the dark? - your justness in the land of oblivion?

THE THREAT OF EXILE
Give honor to Yah Veh your Elohim ere he causes darkness; and ere your feet stub on the evening breeze of the mountains: and while you look for light, he sets it into the shadow of death and places dripping darkness:

²⁶ and beside all this, between us and you, a mega chasm is established: so that whoever wills neither can pass through from hence to you; nor can they pass through to us from there.
