1
YAAQOV BLESSES HIS SONS
And Yaaqov calls to his sons, and says, Gather and I tell you what confronts you in the final days. 2 Gather and hear, you sons of Yaaqov and hearken to Yisra El your father. 3 Reu Ben, my firstbirth: you - my force and the beginning of my strength; the remainder of exaltation and the remainder of strength: 4 frothy as water, you remain not, because you ascended to the bed of your father; then you profaned it: he ascended to my couch. 5 Shimon and Levi: brothers with instruments of violence in their swords: 6 come not into their secret, O my soul; to their congregation, unite not, O my honor: for in their wrath they slaughtered a man and in their pleasure they hamstrung oxen: 7 cursed be their wrath, for it is strong; and their fury, for it is hard: I allot them in Yaaqov and scatter them in Yisra El. 8 Yah Hudah: you to whom your brothers spread hands: your hand is on the neck of your enemies; the sons of your father prostrate to you: 9 Yah Hudah is a whelp of a lion: from the prey, my son, you ascend: he kneels; he crouches as a lion and as a roaring lion; who rouses him? 10 Neither turns the scion aside from Yah Hudah nor a statute setter from between his feet until Shiloh come; and the obedience of the people is his: 11 binding his foal to the vine and the son of his she burro to the choice; he launders his robes in wine and his veil in the blood of grapes: 12 his eyes flush with wine and his teeth whiten with milk. 13 Zebulun: he tabernacles at the haven of the sea: and he is for a haven of ships; and his flank is to Sidon. 14 Yissachar: a bony he burro crouching between the stalls: 15 and he sees that rest is good and that the land pleases; and bows his shoulder to bear and becomes to serve as a vassal. 16 Dan: he pleads the cause of his people, as one of the scions of Yisra El: 17 Dan becomes a serpent by the way - an adder in the path who bites the horse heels, so that his rider falls backward. 18 I await your salvation, O Yah Veh. 19 Gad: a troop troops against him: but he troops against the heel. cp Genesis 3:15 20 Asher: his bread fattens and he gives delicacies to the sovereign. 21 Naphtali: a hind sent away: he gives glorious sayings. 22 Yoseph: a fruitful son - a fruitful son by a fountain; whose daughters pace over the wall: 23 the masters of arrows embitter him and shoot and oppose him: 24 and his bow settles perennial and the arms of his hands solidify by the hands of the Almighty of Yaaqov - from there is he who tends, the stone of Yisra El: 25 by El of your father, who helps you; and by Shadday, who blesses you with blessings of the heavens most high - blessings of the abyss that crouch under - blessings of the breasts and of the womb: 26 the blessings of your father prevail mightily above the blessings of those whom I conceived to the limits of the eternal hills: they be on the head of Yoseph and on his scalp who is a Separatist of his brothers. 27 Ben Yamin: he tears as a wolf: in the morning he devours the prey and at evening he allots the loot. 28 All these: the twelve scions of Yisra El: and this is it what their father words to them; and he blesses them - every man according to his blessing he blesses them.

1
THE BLESSINGS OF MOSHEH ON THE SONS OF YISRA EL And this is the blessing, wherewith Mosheh the man of Elohim blessed the sons of Yisra El at the face of his death: 2 and he says, Yah Veh comes from Sinay and rises from Seir to them; he shines from mount Paran and he comes with myriads of holy: from his right goes a decree of fire for them. 3 Yes, he cherishes the people; all his holy are in your hand: and they camp at your feet; every one bears of your words. 4 Mosheh misvahs us a torah, even the possession of the congregation of Yaaqov: 5 and he is sovereign in Yeshurun, in the gathering of the heads of the people - the scions of Yisra El. 6 Reu Ben lives and dies not; and his men become numerous. 7 And this for Yah Hudah: and he says, Hear, O Yah Veh, the voice of Yah Hudah and bring him to his people: greaten his hands for him; and become his help from his tribulators. 8 And of Levi he says, Your Thummim and your Urim be with your men of mercy, whom you tested at Massah/Testing and with whom you strove at the waters of Meribah/Strife: 9 who says to his father and to his mother, I saw him not: he neither recognized his brothers nor knew his own sons: for they guarded your sayings and guarded your covenant. 10 They point out your judgments to Yaaqov and your torah to Yisra El: they put incense at your nostrils, totally on your sacrifice altar. 11 Yah Veh, bless his valour and be pleased in the deeds of his hands; strike the loins of them who rise against him and of them who hate him, from rising again. 12 And of Ben Yamin he says, The beloved of Yah Veh tabernacles confidently by him; and covers him all the day long and he tabernacles between his shoulders. 13 And of Yoseph he says, Blessed of Yah Veh be his land, for the preciousnesses of the heavens; for the dew and for the abyss that crouches beneath; 14 and for the preciousnesses produced by the sun; and for the preciousnesses thrust by the moon; 15 and for the tops of the ancient mountains; and for the preciousnesses of the eternal hills; 16 and for the preciousnesses of the earth and fulness thereof; and for the pleasure of him who tabernacles in the bush: it comes on the head of Yoseph and on the scalp of him who was a Separatist from his brothers. 17 His majesty is the firstling of his ox and his horns the horns of a reem: with them he butts the people together to the finality of the earth: and they are the myriads of Ephrayim and they are the thousands of Menash Sheh. 18 And of Zebulun he says, Cheer, Zebulun, in your going out; and, Yissachar, in your tents. 19 They call the people to the mountain; there they sacrifice sacrifices of justness: for they suck of the bounty of the seas and of those covered and buried in the sand. 20 And of Gad he says, Blessed by him who widens is Gad: he tabernacles as a lion and tears the arm - yes, the scalp: 21 and his eye is on the first for himself, because there, the allotment of the statute setter is covered; and he comes with the heads of the people: he works the justness of Yah Veh and his judgments with Yisra El. 22 And of Dan he says, Dan is the whelp of a lion: he leaps from Bashan. 23 And of Naphtali he says, O Naphtali, satisfied with pleasure and full of the blessing of Yah Veh: possess the seaward and the south. 24 And of Asher he says, Asher is blessed with sons; he becomes pleasing to his brothers and dips his foot in oil. 25 Your shoes are iron and copper; and as your days, thus your strength. 26 No one is like the El of Yeshurun, who rides on the heavens in your help and in his pomp on the vapour. 27 The ancient Elohim is your habitation and underneath are the eternal arms: and he expels the enemy from your face; and says, Desolate! 28 And Yisra El tabernacles confidently alone: the fountain/eye of Yaaqov is on a land of crop and juice; also his heavens drip dew. 29 Blithe - you, O Yisra El: who is like to you? A people saved by Yah Veh - the buckler of your help and the sword of your pomp! and your enemies emaciate in front of you; and you tread on their bamahs.

Joshua 2:9-11

9 and says to the men, I know Yah Veh gives you the land and that your terror befalls us; and that all the settlers of the land melt at your face: 10 for we hear how Yah Veh withered the water of the Reed sea at your face, in your going from Misrayim; and what you worked to the two sovereigns of the Emoriy on the other side Yarden - Sichon and Og, whom you devoted: 11 we hear and our hearts melt, and no more spirit/wind rises in any man at your face: for Yah Veh your Elohim is Elohim in the heavens above and on the earth below.

Joshua 5:1

1 And so be it, when all the sovereigns of the Emoriy on the seaward side of Yarden, and all the sovereigns of the Kenaaniy by the sea, hear that Yah Veh withered the waters of Yarden from the face of the sons of Yisra El until we pass over, their heart melts: there is no spirit/wind in them any more, at the face of the sons of Yisra El.

Joshua 6:1-21

1 In shutting, Yericho is shut from the face of the sons of Yisra El: no one going, and no one coming. 2 And Yah Veh says to Yah Shua, See, I give in your hand, Yericho and the sovereign and the mighty of valour: 3 surround the city, all you men of war, and go all around the city one time: work thus six days: 4 and seven priests at the face of the ark bear seven shophars of jubilee: and the seventh day surround the city seven times, and the priests blast with the shophars. 5 And so be it, when they draw on the jubilee horn, and when you hear the voice of the shophar, all the people shout a great shout; and the wall of the city falls under it, and the people ascend, each straight in front of him. 6 And Yah Shua the son of Nun calls the priests, and says to them, Lift the ark of the covenant. - and seven priests bear seven shophars of jubilee at the face of the ark of Yah Veh. 7 And he says to the people, Pass on, and surround the city, and he who is equipped pass on at the face of the ark of Yah Veh. 8 And so be it, when Yah Shua says to the people, the seven priests bearing the seven shophars of jubilee pass on at the face of Yah Veh, and blast with the shophars: and the ark of the covenant of Yah Veh walks after them; 9 and the equipped walk at the face of the priests who blast the shophars; and the gathering walks after the ark going on and blasting with the shophars. 10 And Yah Shua misvahs the people, saying, Neither shout, nor have your voice heard, nor any word go from your mouth, until the day I say, Shout! then, shout! 11 And the ark of Yah Veh surrounds the city, going around one time: and they come into the camp and stay overnight in the camp. 12 And Yah Shua starts early in the morning and the priests lift the ark of Yah Veh: 13 and seven priests bearing seven shophars of jubilee at the face of the ark of Yah Veh in walking, walk and blast with the shophars: and the equipped go at their face; and the gathering comes after the ark of Yah Veh - going and blasting with the shophars. 14 And the second day they surround the city one time, and return to the camp: thus they work six days. 15 And so be it, on the seventh day, they start early about the ascending of dawn, and surround the city after the same judgment seven times: except on that day they surround the city seven times. 16 And so be it, the seventh time, the priests blast the shophars, and Yah Shua says to the people, Shout! - for Yah Veh gives you the city! 17 And the city becomes devoted to Yah Veh - it and all therein: only, Rachab the whore lives - she and all with her in the house, because she hid the angels we sent. 18 And you, be on guard of the devoted, lest you become devoted when you take of the devotement; and set the camp of Yisra El a devotement, and trouble it. 19 But all the silver and gold and instruments of copper and iron, are holy to Yah Veh: they come into the treasury of Yah Veh. 20 So the people shout and blast with the shophars: and so be it, when the people hear the voice of the shophar and the people shout with a great shouting the wall falls flat; so that the people ascended into the city; and every man straight in front of him captures the city: 21 and they devote all that is in the city - both man and woman - from lad to old man and ox and lamb and he burro with the mouth of the sword.

Joshua 13:1-21

1
PELESHETH REMAINS TO BE CONQUERED And Yah Shua ages in days: and Yah Veh says to him, You have aged in days, and there survives a mighty abounding of land to possess. 2 This is the land surviving: all the region of the Peleshethiy and all Geshuriy 3 - from Shichor at the face of Misrayim to the borders of Eqron northward - fabricated to the Kenaaniy: five ringleaders of the Peleshethiy; the Azzahiy and the Ashdodiy the Ashqeloniy the Gittiy and the Eqroniy - also the Avviy; 4 southward: all the land of the Kenaaniy and the cave beside the Sidoniy to Apheq - to the borders of the Emoriy: 5 the land of the Gibliy and all Lebanon; from the rising sun - from Baal Gad under mount Hermon to the entering to Hamath: 6 all the settlers of the mountains from Lebanon to Misrephoth Mayim and all the Sidoniy I dispossess from the face of the sons of Yisra El: - fell it to the Yisra Eliy for an inheritance as I misvahed you. 7 Now allot this land for an inheritance to the nine scions and the half scion of Menash Sheh 8 - with whom the Reu Beniy and the Gadiy take their inheritance - which Mosheh gave them beyond Yarden from the rising; as Mosheh the servant of Yah Veh gave them; 9 from Aroer on the lip of the wadi Arnon and the city midst the wadi and all the plain of Medeba to Dibon; 10 and all the cities of Sichon sovereign of the Emoriy who reigns in Heshbon to the border of the sons of Ammon; 11 and Gilad and the border of the Geshuriy and Maachahiy and all mount Hermon and all Bashan to Salchah; 12 all the sovereigndom of Og in Bashan who reigns in Ashtaroth and in Edrei - who survives of the remnant of the Rephaim: for these Mosheh smote and dispossessed. 13 The sons of Yisra El expelled neither the Geshuriy nor the Maachahiy: but the Geshuriy and Maakaiy settle among the Yisra Eliy until this day. 14 Only, to the scion of Levi he gives no inheritance; the firings of Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El are their inheritance, as he worded. 15 And Mosheh gives to the rod of the sons of Reu Ben for their families: 16 and their border is from Aroer on the lip of the wadi Arnon and the city midst the wadi and all the plain by Medeba; 17 Heshbon and all her cities in the plain; Dibon and Bahmah Baal and Beth Baal Meon 18 and Yahsah and Qedemoth and Mephaat 19 and Kirjathaim and Sibmah and Sereth Hash Shachar in the mount of the valley; 20 and Beth Peor and Ashdoth Pisgah and Beth Ha Yeshimoth; 21 and all the cities of the plain and all the sovereigndom of Sichon: sovereign of the Emoriy who reigned in Heshbon whom Mosheh smote with the hierarchs of Midyan; Evi and Reqem and Sur and Hur and Reba - libates of Sichon settling in the land:

Joshua 14:12-15

12 and now, give me this mountain, whereof Yah Veh worded in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anaqiy were there and that the cities were great and cut off: if so be, Yah Veh be with me and I dispossessed them as Yah Veh worded. 13 And Yah Shua blesses him and gives Kaleb the son of Yephunneh Hebron for an inheritance. 14 So Hebron becomes the inheritance of Kaleb the son of Yephunneh the Qenaziy to this day, because he fully followed after Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El. 15 And the former name of Hebron was Qiryath Arba; - a great human among the Anaqiy. And the land rests from war.

Joshua 15:13

13 And he gives Kaleb the son of Yephunneh an allotment among the sons of Yah Hudah according to the mouth of Yah Veh to Yah Shua: Qiryath Arba the father of Anaq, which is Hebron.

Joshua 19:15

15 Qattath and Nahallal and Shimron and Yidalah and Beth Lechem; - twelve cities with their courts.

Joshua 21:11

11 and they give them Qiryath Arba the father of Anaq, which is Hebron, in the mountains of Yah Hudah with the suburbs thereof all around:

Joshua 23:7

7 that you not go among these goyim who survive among you; neither memorialize the name of their elohim nor oath by them nor serve them nor prostrate to them:

Joshua 24:2

2 And Yah Shua says to all the people, Thus says Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El: Your fathers originally settled beyond the river - Terach the father of Abraham the father of Nachor and they served other elohim:

Joshua 24:15

15 and if it vilify your eyes to serve Yah Veh, choose you this day whomever you serve - whether the elohim your fathers served beyond the river; or the elohim of the Emoriy in whose land you settle: but as for me and my house, we serve Yah Veh.

Joshua 24:20

20 When you forsake Yah Veh and serve strange elohim he turns and vilifies you and finishes you off after he has well-pleased you.

Joshua 24:23

23 And now, turn aside the strange elohim among you and spread your heart to Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El.

Joshua 24:25-26

25 And Yah Shua cuts a covenant with the people that day and sets them a statute and a judgment in Shechem: 26 and Yah Shua inscribes these words in the scroll of the torah of Elohim and takes a great stone and raises it there under an oak by the holies of Yah Veh.

And they spread a cloth and every man casts therein the noserings of his spoil: 26 and the weight of the golden noserings he asks is a thousand and seven hundred of gold - beside crescents and pendants and purple covering on the sovereigns of Midyaniy - beside the chokers around the necks of their camels. 27 And Gidon works an ephod thereof and places it in his city - in Ophrah: and all Yisra El whores after it: which becomes a snare to Gidon and to his house.

1 Samuel 1:1-28

1
THE WOMEN OF EL QANAH
And so be it, one man of Ramahayim Sophim of mount Ephrayim; and his name is El Qanah, the son of Yerocham the son of Eli Hu the son of Tochu the son of Suph - an Ephrathiy: 2 and he has two women; the name of the one is Hannah, and the name of the second Peninnah: and Peninnah has children but Hannah has no children. 3 And this man ascends from his city days by days to prostrate and to sacrifice to Yah Veh Sabaoth in Shiloh: and there are the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Pinechas, the priests of Yah Veh: 4 and so be it, the day El Qanah sacrifices, he gives portions to Peninnah his woman, and to all her sons and her daughters: 5 and he gives one double faced portion to Hannah; because he loves Hannah: and Yah Veh shut her womb; 6 and her tribulation also vexes her to vexation to irritate her; because Yah Veh shut her womb. 7 And thus he works year by year, as she ascends often enough to the house of Yah Veh, thus she is vexed; and she weeps, and eats not. 8 And El Qanah her man says to her, Hannah, why weep you? aAnd why eat you not? And why villify your heart? Am not I better to thee than ten sons? 9 - and Hannah rises in Shiloh after they eat and after they drink. Now Eli the priest settles on a throne by a post of the manse of Yah Veh: 10 and she is bitter of soul and prays to Yah Veh: and in weeping, she weeps; 11 and she vows a vow, and says, O Yah Veh Sabaoth, if in seeing, you see the humiliation of your maid, and remember me, and forget not your maid, but give your maid a man seed, then I give him to Yah Veh all the days of his life, and no razor ascends on his head. 12 And so be it, as she abounds to pray at the face of Yah Veh, that Eli guards her mouth. 13
THE VEXATION OF HANNAH
And Hannah words within her heart; only, her lips quiver, but her voice is not heard: so Eli fabricates she is intoxicated: 14 and Eli says unto her, Until when are you intoxicated? Turn aside from your wine. 15 And Hannah answers and says, No, my adoni, I am a woman, hard in spirit: I drink neither wine nor intoxicants, but pour out my soul at the face of Yah Veh: 16 Give not your maid as the face of a daughter of Beli Yaal: for I word from the abundance of my meditation and vexation. 17 Then Eli answers and says, Go in shalom: and may Elohim of Yisra El give the petition you ask of him. 18 And she says, O that your maid find charism in your eyes. - and the woman goes her way, and eats, and her face is no more. 19
THE BIRTH OF SHEMU EL
And they rise early in the morning and prostrate at the face of Yah Veh; and return and come to their house to Ramah: and El Qanah knows Hannah his woman; and Yah Veh remembers her. 20 And so be it, in the revolution of days after Hannah conceives, she births a son and calls his name Shemu El - because I asked him of Yah Veh. 21 And the man El Qanah, and all his house, ascend to sacrifice the sacrifice of days and his vow to Yah Veh. 22 And Hannah ascends not; for she says to her man, When the lad weans then I bring him to be seen at the face of Yah Veh and settle there eternally. 23 And El Qanah her man says to her, Work what seems good in your eyes; settle until you wean him; only, may Yah Veh raise his word. So the woman settles, and suckles her son until she weans him: 24 and she weans him and ascends him with her with three bullocks and one ephah of flour and a bag of wine; and brings him to the house of Yah Veh in Shiloh: and the lad is but a lad: 25 and they slaughter a bullock and bring the lad to Eli. 26 And she says, Oh my adoni, as your soul lives, my adoni, I am the woman who stationed here by you, praying unto Yah Veh: 27 - for this lad I prayed; and Yah Veh gives me the petition I asked of him: 28 and also I lend him to Yah Veh; all the days he lives he becomes lent to Yah Veh. - and he prostrates to Yah Veh there.

1 Samuel 4:19-21

19
THE BIRTH OF IY CHABOD
And his daughter in law, the woman of Pinechas, conceives, near to birth: and when she hears the report that they took the ark of Elohim and deathified her father in law and her man, she bows herself and births; for her pains turn on her. 20 And about the time she dies, the women stationed by her word to her, Awe not; you birth a son. But she neither answers, nor sets her heart: 21 and she calls the lad Iy Chabod, saying, The honor is exiled from Yisra El! - because they took the ark of Elohim and because of her father in law and her man.

1 Samuel 7:3

1
MONGRELS SEPARATED FROM YISRA EL
On that day, they call out in the scroll of Mosheh in the ears of the people; and they find inscribed therein that the Ammoniy and the Moabiy are not to come into the congregation of Elohim eternally; 2 because they anticipated not the sons of Yisra El with bread and with water; but hired Bilam against them to abase them: and our Elohim turns the abasement into a blessing. 3 And so be it, when they hear the torah, they separate all the mongrels from Yisra El: 4 and at the face of this, El Yashib the priest gives the oversight of the chamber of the house of our Elohim to one near to Tobi Yah: 5 and he works himself a great chamber where they formerly gave the offerings - the frankincense and the instruments and the tithes of the crop - the juice and the oil the misvah of the Leviym and the singers and the porters; and the exaltments of the priests. 6 And in all this, I am not at Yeru Shalem: for in the thirty-second year of Artach Shashta sovereign of Babel I come to the sovereign; and at the end of days I ask of the sovereign: 7 and I come to Yeru Shalem and discern the evil El Yashib works to Tobi Yah - in working him a chamber in the courts of the house of Elohim: 8 and it is mighty evil to me: and I cast out all the household instruments to Tobi Yah from the chamber. 9 Then I say - and they purify the chambers: and I bring again the instruments of the house of Elohim with the offering and the frankincense: 10 and I perceive that the allotments of the Leviym have not been given them: for the Leviym and the singers who work the work flee - each man to his field. 11 Then I contend with the prefects and say, Why is the house of Elohim forsaken? - and I gather them and stand them in their station. 12 And all Yah Hudah brings the tithe of the crop and the juice and the oil to the treasuries. 13 And treasurers over the treasuries: Shelem Yah the priest and Sadoq the scribe and Pedah Yah of the Leviym; and at their hand: Hanan the son of Zakkur the son of Mattan Yah; for they are fabricated as amenable and their office is to allot to their brothers. 14 Remember me, O my Elohim, concerning this; and wipe not out the mercies I worked for the house of my Elohim and for its underguard. 15 In those days in Yah Hudah I see them treading wine presses on the shabbath - and bringing in heaps and lading he burros and also wine, grapes and figs and all the burdens they bring into Yeru Shalem on the shabbath day: and I witness the day they sell hunt: 16 and the Soriy settle therein bringing fish and all manner of price and sell on the shabbath to the sons of Yah Hudah and in Yeru Shalem. 17 And I contend with the nobles of Yah Hudah and say to them, What evil word is this that you work and profane the shabbath day? 18 Worked not your fathers thus and brought not our Elohim all this evil on us and on this city? And you add fuming on Yisra El by profaning the shabbath. 19 And so be it, the portals of Yeru Shalem begin to overshadow at the face of the shabbath, and I say to shut the gates and say to not open until after the shabbath: and I stand my lads at the portals, that no burden is brought in on the shabbath day. 20 And the merchants and sellers of all sales stay overnight outside Yeru Shalem one time or twice. 21 And I witness against them and say to them, Why stay you overnight opposite the wall? If you repeat, I spread hands on you. - from that time they come not on the shabbath. 22 And I say to the Leviym to purify and to come and guard the portals to hallow the shabbath day. Remember me, O my Elohim, this also; and spare me according to the greatness of your mercy. 23 Also in those days I see that the Yah Hudiym settle with women of Ashdodiy, of Ammoniy and of Moabiy: 24 and their sons word half in the speech of Ashdod and recognize not to word in Yah Hudaic, but according to the language of people by people. 25 And I contend with them and abase them and smite men of them and balden them and have them oath by Elohim, saying, Neither give your daughters to their sons nor bear their daughters to your sons or for yourselves. 26 Shelomoh sovereign of Yisra El - sinned he not by these? Yet among many goyim there is no sovereign like him - beloved of his Elohim; and Elohim gave him sovereign over all Yisra El: and strange women caused even him to sin. 27 And hearken we to you to work all this great evil - to treason against our Elohim in settling with strange women? 28 And of the sons of Yah Yada, the son of El Yashib the great priest is son in law to Sanballat the Horoniy: and I flee him from me. 29 Remember them, O my Elohim, because they profane the priesthood and the covenant of the priesthood and of the Leviym. 30 Thus I purify them from all strangers and station the guards of the priests and the Leviym - each man in his work; 31 and for the qorban of timber, at times appointed, and for the firstlings. Remember me, O my Elohim, for good.

Job 1:5

5 And so be it, as the days of banqueting revolve, Iyob sends and hallows them; and starts early in the morning and holocausts holocausts according to their number; for Iyob says, Perhaps my sons have sinned, yet blessed Elohim in their hearts. - thus worked Iyob continually.

1
APPORTIONING THE LAND
These are the names of the scions. From the north end to the hand of the way of Hethlon, as one goes to Hamath, Hasar Enan, the border of Dammeseq northward, to the hand of Hamath; are his edges east and seaward; for Dan, one. 2 And by the border of Dan: from the east edge to the seaward edge; for Asher, one. 3 And by the border of Asher: from the east edge even to the seaward edge; for Naphtali, one. 4 And by the border of Naphtali: from the east edge to the seaward edge; for Menash Sheh, one. 5 And by the border of Menash Sheh: from the east edge to the seaward edge; for Ephrayim, one. 6 And by the border of Ephrayim: from the east edge even to the seaward edge; for Reu Ben, one. 7 And by the border of Reu Ben: from the east edge to the seaward edge; for Yah Hudah, one. 8
THE HALLOWED REFUGE
And by the border of Yah Hudah: from the east edge to the seaward edge, is the exaltment you lift - twenty-five thousand broad and long - as one of the allotments, from the east edge to the seaward edge; and the holies are in the midst thereof: 9 the exaltment you lift to Yah Veh, twenty-five thousand long, and ten thousand broad. 10 And of these, the holy exaltment for the priests: northward, twenty-five thousand; and seaward, ten thousand broad, and eastward, ten thousand broad, and southward, twenty-five thousand long: and the holies of Yah Veh is in the midst 11 - for the priests - the hallowed of the sons of Sadoq; who guarded my guard; who strayed not when the sons of Yisra El strayed as the Leviym strayed. 12 And this exaltment of the land that is from the exaltment is to them a holy of holies by the border of the Leviym. 13 And alongside the border of the priests, the Leviym: twenty-five thousand long, and ten thousand broad: all the length, twenty-five thousand and the breadth, ten thousand. 14 And they neither sell thereof nor exchange nor pass away the firstlings of the land: for it is holy to Yah Veh. 15
THE PROFANE
And the five thousand broad remaining at the face of the twenty-five thousand is profane; it is for the city, for sites, and for suburbs: and the city is in the midst. 16 And these are the measures: the north edge, four thousand and five hundred; and the south edge, four thousand and five hundred; and on the east edge, four thousand and five hundred; and the seaward edge, four thousand and five hundred. 17 And the suburbs of the city: northward, two hundred and fifty; and southward, two hundred and fifty; and eastward, two hundred and fifty; and seaward, two hundred and fifty. 18 And whatever remains in length alongside the exaltment of the holies - ten thousand eastward and ten thousand seaward - being alongside the exaltment of the holies; the produce is their bread who serve the city: 19 and they who serve the city serve from all the scions of Yisra El. 20 All the exaltment, twenty-five thousand by twenty-five thousand: lift a fourth of the holy exaltment with the possession of the city. 21
THE AREA OF THE HIERARCH
And whatever remains is for the hierarch - from here and from there of the holy exaltment and of the possession of the city at the face of the twenty-five thousand of the exaltment to the eastward border, and seaward, at the face of the twenty-five thousand to the seaward border, alongside the allotments is for the hierarch: being the holy exaltment; and the holies of the house in the midst. 22 Moreover from the possession of the Leviym, and from the possession of the city, midst that which is of the the hierarch, between the border of Yah Hudah and the border of Ben Yamin, is for the hierarch. 23 As for the rest of the scions: from the east edge to the west edge; Ben Yamin, one. 24 And by the border of Ben Yamin: from the east edge to the seaward edge; Shimon, one. 25 And by the border of Shimon: from the east edge to the seaward edge; Yissachar, one. 26 And by the border of Yissachar: from the east edge to the seaward edge; Zebulun, one. 27 And by the border of Zebulun: from the east edge to the seaward edge; Gad, one. 28 And by the border of Gad: at the south side edge southward, the border being from Tamar to Mayim Meribah in Qadesh and to the wadi toward the great sea. 29 This is the land you fell to the scions of Yisra El for inheritance, and these are their allotments - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh. 30
THE EXITS
And these are the exits of the city: on the north edge: four thousand and five hundred measures: 31 and the portals of the city as the names of the scions of Yisra El. Three portals northward: the portal of Reu Ben, one; the portal of Yah Hudah, one; the portal of Levi, one. 32 And at the east edge four thousand and five hundred with three portals: the portal of Yoseph, one; the portal of Ben Yamin, one; the portal of Dan, one. 33 And at the south edge four thousand and five hundred measures with three portals; the portal of Shimon, one; the portal of Yissachar, one; the portal of Zebulun, one. 34 At the seaward edge four thousand and five hundred with their three portals; the portal of Gad, one; the portal of Asher, one; the portal of Naphtali, one 35 - eighteen thousand all around.
