JUDGMENT AND MERCY
Neither bear a vain report: nor put your hand with the wicked to become a witness of violence.

¹ And when another soul sins - and he hears or witnesses the voice of oathing - if he sees or knows thereof - and if he tells not he bears his perversity.

³ or finds what is lost and deceives concerning it and oaths falsely - in one of all these that a human works, sinning therein:

⁴² And the sovereign sends and calls for Shimi and says to him, Did I not oath you by Yah Veh and witness to you, saying, In knowing, know that on the day you go and walk any where, that in dying, you die. - and you said to me, The word I hear is good. ⁴³ Why then guarded you not the oath of Yah Veh and the misvah I misvahed you?

⁹ - lest I satiate and deny you and say, Who is Yah Veh? Or lest I become dispossessed and steal and take the name of my Elohim.

¹⁶ For humanity indeed oaths by the greater: and an oath establishes a finality of all controversy.
