DAVID ANOINTED
And he sends and brings him in: and he is ruddy and of beautiful eyes and goodly to see. And Yah Veh says, Rise! Anoint him! For this is he. ¹³ Then Shemu El takes the horn of oil, and anoints him midst his brothers: and the Spirit of Yah Veh prospers on David from that day onward. - and Shemu El rises and goes to Ramah. ¹⁴
AN EVIL SPIRIT FROM YAH VEH
The Spirit of Yah Veh turns aside from Shaul and an evil spirit from Yah Veh frightens him. ¹⁵ And Shaul's servants say to him, Behold now, an evil spirit from Elohim frightens you. ¹⁶ Have our adoni say to your servants at your face to seek out a man - a knowing strummer on a harp: and so be it, when the evil spirit from Elohim is on you, that he strum with his hand and it is good. ¹⁷ And Shaul says to his servants, See for me a man well-prepared and a good strummer and bring him to me. ¹⁸ And one of the lads answers and says, Behold, I saw a son of Yishay the Beth Lechemiy - a knowledgeable strummer and mighty valiant and a man of war - discerning in words and a man of form and Yah Veh is with him. ¹⁹ And Shaul sends angels to Yishay and says, Send me David your son, who is with the flock. ²⁰ And Yishay takes a he burro with bread and a skin of wine and one doe goat and sends them by the hand of David his son to Shaul: ²¹ and David comes to Shaul and stands at his face; and he loves him mightily: and he becomes his instrument bearer. ²² And Shaul sends to Yishay, saying, O that David, I beseech you, stand at my face; for he finds charism in my eyes. ²³ And so be it, the spirit from Elohim is on Shaul, and David takes a harp and strums with his hand: so that Shaul respires and is good; and the evil spirit turns aside from him.

THE TORAH ON SOVEREIGNS When you come to the land Yah Veh your Elohim gives you, and possess it and settle therein; and you say, I set a sovereign over me, as all the goyim all around me! ¹⁵ - in setting, set him sovereign over you, whom Yah Veh your Elohim chooses: set one from among your brothers sovereign over you: you cannot give a man - a stranger over you, who is not your brother.

⁵ after that, come to the hill of Elohim where the station of the Peleshethiy is: and so be it, when you come to the city, you meet a line of prophets descending from the bamah with a bagpipe and a tambourine and a flute and a harp at their face; and they prophesy: ⁶ and the Spirit of Yah Veh prospers on you and you prophesy with them and turn into another man. ⁷ And so be it, when these signs come to you, work as your hand finds; for Elohim is with you:

And Yah Veh says to me, Though Mosheh and Shemu El stand at my face, yet my soul is not toward this people: send them from my face, and go.

IMPURE SPIRITS
Whenever the impure spirit comes from a human he passes through waterless places, seeks rest, and finds none. ⁴⁴ Then he words, I return to my house whence I come. - and when he comes he finds it empty, swept and adorned. ⁴⁵ Then he goes and takes seven other spirits with him - more evil than himself; and they enter and settle there: and the final state of that human becomes worse than the first. Even so be it also to this evil generation.

coming to him, a living stone; disapproved indeed by humanity but with Elohim, select, honorable;

⁴ but that secret human of the heart in what is incorruptible - of a meek and quiet spirit which is vastly precious in the sight of Elohim.

¹⁶ Whenever anyone sees his brother sin a sin not to death, have him ask; and he gives him life for them who sin not to death. There is a sin to death: I word not that he ask for it.

²³ and I slaughter her children in death: so that all the ecclesiae knows that I AM: who searches the reins and hearts: and I give to each of you according to your works.
