¹⁶ and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and filled," and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?

⁹ Let love be genuine. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

⁸ I am not speaking this as a command, but I want to test the sincerity of your love by comparing it with the earnestness of others.
