¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ O Yahweh, hear my prayer; Do give ear to my supplications; In Your faithfulness answer me, in Your righteousness." ² O do not enter into judgment with Your servant, For no living one at all can be righteous before You." ³ For the enemy has persecuted my soul; He has crushed my life to the earth; He has made me sit in utter darkness like the eonian dead. ⁴ My spirit is drooping within me; In my midst my heart is dejected. ⁵ Yet I remember the days aforetime; I soliloquize upon all Your deeds; Upon the works of Your hands am I meditating. ⁶ I spread forth my hands to You; My soul looks to You like a fainting land. {Interlude{ ⁷ Quickly answer me, O Yahweh; my spirit is exhausted; O do not conceal Your face from me, Or I would become comparable with descenders to the crypt." ⁸ Let me hear of Your benignity in each morning, For I trust in You; Let me know that way I should go, For I lift up my soul to You." ⁹ Rescue me from my enemies, O Yahweh; To You I look for cover." ¹⁰ Teach me to do what is acceptable to You, For You are my Elohim; May You guide me with Your good spirit in an upright land." ¹¹ For Your Name's sake, O Yahweh, may You revive me; In Your righteousness, may You bring my soul forth from distress." ¹² In Your benignity may You efface my enemies; And You will destroy all the foes of my soul, For I am Your servant."

²⁴ And left is Jacob alone. And wrestling is a Man with him till the ascending of the dawn. ²⁵ And seeing is he that he does not prevail against Him. Yet touching is He the palm of his thighbone. And strained is the palm of Jacob's thighbone in his wrestling with Him. ²⁶ And saying is He to him, "Send Me away, for the dawn ascends.And saying is he, "Not letting You go am I save You bless me. ²⁷ And saying is He to him, "What is your name?And saying is he, "Jacob. ²⁸ And saying is He to him, "Not Jacob shall your name be called longer, but rather Israel is your name. For upright are you with the Elohim and with mortals, and are prevailing. ²⁹ And asking is Jacob and saying, "Tell me, pray, your name.And saying is He, "Why is this that you are asking for My name?And blessing him is He there.

⁷ preserving kindness to thousands, bearing with depravity, transgression and sin, yet He is not immediately making innocent in order to make innocent, but visiting the depravity of the fathers on the sons and on the sons' sons, on the third and on the fourth generation.

² And remember all the way which Yahweh your Elohim caused you to go these forty years in the wilderness, that He might make you humble, to probe you so as to know what is in your heart, whether or not you shall observe His instructions. ³ So He made you humble and let you hunger; then He fed you with the manna which neither you had known, nor had your fathers known, that He might make you realize that not on bread alone shall the human live, for by every utterance from the mouth of Yahweh shall the human live.

³⁴ And David said unto Saul, `A shepherd has your servant been to his father among the sheep, and the lion has come--and the bear--and has taken away a sheep out of the drove, <sup>35</sup> and I have gone out after him, and smitten him, and delivered out of his mouth, and he rises against me, and I have taken hold on his beard, and smitten him, and put him to death. <sup>36</sup> Both the lion and the bear has your servant smitten, and this uncircumcised Philistine has been as one of them, for he has reproached the ranks of the living Elohim.. <sup>37</sup> And David said, `Yahweh, who delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, He does deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.' And Saul said unto David, `Go, and Yahweh is with you..

⁴⁵ And David said unto the Philistine, `You are coming unto me with sword, and with spear, and with buckler, and I am coming unto you in the name of Yahweh of Hosts, Elohim of the ranks of Israel, which you have reproached. ⁴⁶ This day does Yahweh shut you up into my hand--and I have smitten you, and turned aside your head from off you, and given the carcase of the camp of the Philistines this day to the fowl of the heavens, and to the beast of the earth, and all the earth do know that Elohim is for Israel. ⁴⁷ and all this assembly do know that not by sword and by spear does Yahweh save, that the battle [is] Yahweh's, and He has given you into our hand.. ⁴⁸ And it has come to pass, that the Philistine has risen, and goes, and draws near to meet David, and David hastes and runs to the rank to meet the Philistine, ⁴⁹ and David puts forth his hand unto the vessel, and takes thence a stone, and slings, and smites the Philistine on his forehead, and the stone sinks into his forehead, and he falls on his face to the earth. ⁵⁰ And David is stronger than the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smites the Philistine, and puts him to death, and there is no sword in the hand of David,

¹² `Yahweh does judge between me and you, and Yahweh has avenged me of you, and my hand is not on you;" <sup>13</sup> as said the simile of the ancients, From the wicked goes out wickedness, and my hand is not on you. <sup>14</sup> `After whom has the king of Israel come out? after whom are you pursuing? --after a dead dog! after one flea! ¹⁵ And Yahweh has been for judge, and has judged between me and you, yea, he sees and pleads my cause, and does deliver me out of your hand..

²⁹ And man rises to pursue you and to seek your soul, and the soul of my lord has been bound in the bundle of life with Yahweh your Elohim; as to the soul of your enemies, He does sling them out in the midst of the hollow of the sling.

¹⁰ And David said, `Yahweh lives; except Yahweh does smite him, or his day come that he has died, or into battle he go down, and has been consumed-.

²² And Abner adds again, saying unto Asahel, `Turn you aside from after me, why do I smite you to the earth? and how do I lift up my face unto Joab your brother?.

²⁵ `And now, Yahweh Elohim, the word which You have spoken concerning Your servant, and concerning his house, establish unto the eon, and do as You have spoken;"

¹¹ And Joab said to the man who is declaring [it] to him, `And lo, you have seen--and wherefore did you not smite him there to the earth--and on me to give to you ten silverlings and one girdle?.

⁴⁶ `When they sin against You (for there is not a man who sins not), and You have been angry with them, and have given them up before an enemy, and they have taken captive their captivity unto the land of the enemy far off or near;"

²⁰ `And Your good Spirit You have given, to cause them to act wisely; and Your manna You have not withheld from their mouth, and water You have given to them for their thirst,

¹⁷ Is a mortal more righteous than Eloah? Or is a master more pure than His Maker?

²⁷ Indeed, you would cast lots for the orphan, And you would barter over your associate.

² Truly I know that this is so, Yet how can a mortal be righteous before El? ³ If he desires to contend with Him, He shall not answer him one time out of a thousand.

¹³ If you yourself prepare your heart, And you spread out your palms to Him,

³ Indeed, it is on one like this that You focus Your eyes, And You bring me into judgment before You.

¹⁴ What is a mortal that he should be purged, Or that one born of a woman should be justified?

⁴ How then can a mortal be righteous before El, And how can one born of woman be pure?

⁸ O Yahweh, guide me in Your righteousness on account of those who lie in wait for me. Straighten Your way before me.

¹ {Davidic{ {Which he sang unto Yahweh concerning the words of Cush, a Benjamite.{ O Yahweh my Elohim, I take refuge in You; Save me from all those pursuing me, and rescue me!" ² Lest he should tear my soul to pieces like a lion, Tearing it off while there is no rescuer.

⁵ May the enemy pursue my soul and overtake it, May he tramp my life into the earth, And may he cause my glory to tabernacle in the soil. {Interlude{ "

⁷ Yet Yahweh, He shall sit enthroned for the eon; He will establish His throne for judgment, ⁸ And He shall judge the habitance with justice; He shall adjudicate the national groups with equity.

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ How long, O Yahweh? Shall You forget me permanently? How long shall You conceal Your face from me? ² How long shall I set griefs in my soul, With affliction in my heart by day and night? How long shall my enemy be exalted over me? ³ Do look! Answer me, O Yahweh my Elohim; Do enlighten my eyes lest I should sleep in death, ⁴ Lest my enemy should say, I have prevailed over him, Lest my foes should exult when I slip.

⁹ From the face of the wicked, those who devastate me; My enemies against my soul encompass about me." ¹⁰ They have closed their calloused heart; Their mouths have spoken in pride. ¹¹ They surround me now in my progress; They are setting their eyes to turn me aside to the earth. ¹² His likeness is like a lion that longs to tear prey, And like a sheltered lion sitting in concealment." ¹³ O Yahweh, do arise; do confront him to his face; Make him bow down. Do deliver my soul from the wicked one by Your sword,

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ My El! My El! Why have You forsaken me? Far from my salvation are these words of my roaring.

²⁴ For He has neither despised Nor abominated the humiliation of the humbled, And He has not concealed His face from him. But when he implored to Him, He hearkened."

³ He is restoring my soul; He is guiding me in the routes of righteousness, on account of His Name."

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ To You, O Yahweh, am I lifting up my soul;" ² In You, my Elohim, have I trusted. Do not let me be ashamed; Do not let my enemies be glad over me."

⁴ Acquaint me with Your ways, O Yahweh; Teach me Your paths." ⁵ Cause me to tread in Your truth, and teach me, For You are the Elohim of my salvation, And I expect You the entire day."

⁸ Good and upright is Yahweh; Therefore, He shall direct sinners in the way;" ⁹ He shall cause the humble to tread in right judgment, And He shall teach the humble His way."

¹¹ On account of Your Name, O Yahweh, Thus pardon my depravity, though it be great." ¹² Whatever man this is who is fearing Yahweh, He shall direct him in the way he should choose;"

¹⁶ Turn toward me, and be gracious to me, For I am lonely and humbled;" ¹⁷ In the distresses of my heart make a wideness for me, And bring me forth from my constraints."

⁹ O do not conceal Your face from me, O do not turn aside Your servant in anger, You Who have become my Help! O do not abandon me, And do not forsake me, O Elohim of my salvation."

¹¹ Direct me, O Yahweh, in Your way, And guide me in a straight path on account of those lying in wait for me."

¹ {Davidic{ To You, O Yahweh, am I calling out; My Rock, O do not turn from me in silence. Lest, if You should hush to me, I would become comparable with descenders to the crypt."

⁵ For there is only a moment under His anger But a lifetime under His benevolence. In the evening, lamentation may lodge, But in the morning there is jubilant song."

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ In You, O Yahweh, have I taken refuge; Do not let me be ashamed for the eon; In Your righteousness deliver me."

¹² I was forgotten, like a dead man, out of heart; I became like a lost vessel." ¹³ For I heard the muttering of many; Shrinking fear was round about; In their deliberation together against me, They schemed to take away my soul." ¹⁴ Yet I, I trusted in You, O Yahweh; I said, My Elohim are You;" ¹⁵ In Your hand are my seasons; Rescue me from the hand of my enemies And from those pursuing me.

⁸ You said, I shall make you contemplate, And direct you in the way that you should go; I will give counsel with My eye upon you."

² In Yahweh my soul boasts; The humbled ones hear and rejoice. ³ Magnify Yahweh with me, And let us exalt His Name together." ⁴ I have sought after Yahweh, and He has answered me, And from all my shrinking fear He has rescued me."

¹⁹ Many are the evils on the righteous one, But Yahweh shall rescue him from them all,

⁴ May they be ashamed, And may they be mortified, who are seeking my soul; May they be turned away, And may they be abashed, who are devising evil against me."

³⁹ The salvation of the righteous is from Yahweh, Their Stronghold in a season of distress." ⁴⁰ And Yahweh shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked and save them, For they took refuge in Him."

¹² For evils have enveloped about me until there is no numbering; My depravities have overtaken me so that I am not able to see. They are more plentiful than the hairs of my head, And my heart, it has forsaken me." ¹³ Be pleased, O Yahweh, to rescue me; O Yahweh, do hurry to my help!"

¹⁷ Yet I am humbled and needy; May Yahweh devise for me. My Help and my Deliverance are You; O my Elohim, do not delay. {Permanent{ "

¹ {SCROLL TWO{ {Contemplating, For the Sons of Korah{ As a deer is panting over the channels of water, So is my soul panting for You, O Elohim!" ² My soul thirsts for Elohim, for the living El; When shall I come and appear before Elohim?

⁶ My soul, it is prostrated within me; Therefore I am remembering You From the land of the Jordan And the peaks of Hermon, From the mount of Mizar."

⁸ By day Yahweh enjoins His benignity, And by night His song is with me, A prayer to the El of my life."

²⁰ If we had forgotten the Name of our Elohim And spread out our palms to an alien el,

⁵ Elohim is within it; it shall never slip; Elohim shall help it at the presence of the morning.

⁵ But El, He shall break you down permanently; He shall rake you up and tear you out from your tent, And He will root you out from the land of the living. {Interlude{ "

³ For aliens, they rise against me, And terrifiers, they seek my soul; They do not set Elohim in front of them. {Interlude{ "

⁵ Let evil turn back against those who lie in wait for me; By Your truth efface them.

⁵ Fear and quivering come over me, And shuddering covers me."

²³ And You, O Elohim, You shall bring them down to the well of ruin, These mortals of bloodshed and deceit, Who shall not live half their days; As for me, I am trusting in You. {Permanent{ {Concerning the Mute Dove Afar{ "

⁹ Then my enemies shall turn away in the day I call out; This I know:that Elohim is for me.

¹⁶ But as for me, I shall sing of Your strength And be jubilant each morning over Your benignity; For You are the Impregnable Retreat for me, And my Haven in the day of my distress."

² From the outmost part of the land am I calling to You while my heart droops; Guide me to a rock that is higher than I. ³ For You have become my Refuge, A strong Tower before the face of the enemy." ⁴ Let me sojourn in Your tent for the eons; Let me take refuge in the concealment of Your wings. {Interlude{

¹⁷ Do not conceal Your face from Your servant, For distress is mine; quickly answer me."

⁵ I took account of the days from aforetime, The years of the eons, saying, ⁶ Let me remember my soliloquy in the night; Let me meditate with my heart. So my spirit searched, saying,

¹⁰ Yet I am saying, This is the ground of my beseeching:The years of the right hand of the Supreme;" ¹¹ I shall remember all the activity of Yah; Indeed I shall remember Your marvelous works from aforetime. ¹² Thus I soliloquize on all Your deeds, And on all Your activity, let me meditate."

² My soul longs for and even consumes for the courts of Yahweh; My heart and my flesh, they are appealing to the living El."

⁶ Shall You Yourself not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You?

⁴ Rejoice the soul of Your servant, For to You, O Yahweh, am I lifting up my soul."

⁴ I am reckoned with descenders to the crypt; I become like a master who is without stamina, ⁵ With the dead set free, Like the slain who lie in a burying ground, Whom You do not remember any more, For they are severed from Your hand." ⁶ You have set me down in the nether crypt, In utter darkness, in shadowy depths;"

⁹ My eye, it pines away with humiliation; I call on You, O Yahweh, throughout every day; I spread out my palms to You." ¹⁰ Would You perform marvelous works for the dead? Or do Rephaim arise and acclaim You? {Interlude{ ¹¹ Is Your benignity recounted in the tomb, Your faithfulness in destruction?

¹ {Contemplating, For Ethan the Ezrahite{ Of the benignity of Yahweh will I sing for the eon; For generation after generation shall I make known Your faithfulness with my mouth." ² For I have said, Eonian benignity shall be built; You shall establish Your faithfulness in the heavens themselves."

¹⁴ Satisfy us in the morning with Your benignity, That we may be jubilant and rejoice through all our days."

¹⁵ He shall call on Me, and I shall answer him; I am with him in distress; I shall liberate him and glorify him." ¹⁶ With length of days shall I satisfy him, And I shall show him My salvation."

⁴ He has made His marvelous works memorable; Gracious and compassionate is Yahweh.

¹⁶ Oh Yahweh, seeing that I am Your servant, I am Your servant, son of Your maidservant, You have opened up my bonds;"

²⁸ You are my El, and I am acclaiming You; My Elohim, I am exalting You."

⁵ O that my ways should be established To keep Your statutes. ⁶ Then I should not be ashamed When I look to all Your instructions. ⁷ I shall acclaim You in uprightness of heart, While I learn Your righteous ordinances."

¹² Blessed be You, O Yahweh; Teach me Your statutes."

²⁵ My soul clings to the soil; Revive me according to Your word.

³⁴ Make me understand, and I will preserve Your law And keep it with all my heart." ³⁵ Cause me to tread in the track of Your instructions, For I delight in it."

³⁷ Avert my eyes from looking at futile things; Revive me in Your way.

⁴⁰ Behold, I ardently desire Your precepts; Revive me in Your righteousness."

⁷³ Your hands, they have made me and are establishing me; Give me understanding so I may learn Your instructions."

⁸¹ My soul is exhausted looking for Your salvation; I have set my hope in Your word. ⁸² My eyes are exhausted looking for Your promise, Asking, When shall You comfort me? ⁸³ Though I have become like an unused skin-bottle, hanging in smoke fumes, I have not forgotten Your statutes."

⁸⁸ Revive me according to Your benignity, And I will keep the testimony of Your mouth."

⁹⁴ I am Yours; save me, For I have sought after Your precepts."

¹⁰⁷ I am humbled utterly; O Yahweh, revive me according to Your word."

⁴ Then the waters, they would have engulfed us, The torrent, it would have passed over our soul;"

³ If You should keep account of depravities, O Yah, O Yahweh, who should stand?

¹⁵ And Who shook off Pharaoh and his army into the Sea of Weeds, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹⁶ To the One conducting His people through the wilderness, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹⁷ To the One smiting great kings, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹⁸ And Who killed prestigious kings, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹⁹ Sihon king of the Amorite, For His benignity is eonian;" ²⁰ And Og king of Bashan, For His benignity is eonian;"

⁷ If I walk within distress, You revive me; You send forth Your hand against the anger of my enemies, And You save me with Your right hand."

³ When my spirit droops within me, Then it is You Yourself Who knows my tracks; In the path that I am walking, They have buried a snare for me."

⁵ I cry out to You, O Yahweh; I say, You are my Refuge, My Portion in the land of the living." ⁶ Do attend to my appeal, For I am exceedingly impoverished; Rescue me from my persecutors, For they are tougher than I."

⁵ Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And do not lean to your own understanding." ⁶ In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He Himself shall straighten your paths."

¹⁰ The name of Yahweh is a strong tower; The righteous one runs to it and is made impregnable.

²⁰ For there is no righteous man in the earth Who does good and never sins.

¹⁷ I also tarry for Yahweh, the Concealer of His face from the house of Jacob, and my expectation is toward Him."

⁸ Indeed, in the path of Your judgments, Yahweh, we expect You. To Your name and to Your law is the yearning of our soul." ⁹ With my soul I yearn for You in the night. Indeed, with my spirit within me I will seek You early. For as a light are Your judgments to the earth, the dwellers of the habitance learn righteousness."

¹⁰ For Yahweh has libated on you a spirit of stupor. And He is restraining your eyes, that is, the prophets, and your heads, the vision seers, He covers."

²¹ and your ears shall hear a word from behind you saying, "This is the way, go in it,in case you shall go right, and in case you shall go left."

⁷ And the seared sink becomes a pond, and the thirsty land has fonts of water. In the homestead of jackals shall be a morass, an environ for reed and papyrus."

¹⁸ For the unseen is not acclaiming You, nor is death praising You, and those descending into a crypt are not looking forward to Your truth."

¹⁷ Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, "I, Yahweh, your Elohim, will teach you to benefit, causing you to tread in the way in which you shall go."

¹⁶ For not for the eon will I contend, nor will I be permanently wroth, in case the spirit from before Me shall droop, and all who have breath, that I made."

⁷ The kindnesses of Yahweh will I mention, the praises of Yahweh, according to all which Yahweh requites us, and the vast good to the house of Israel which He requites them, according to His compassions, and according to His many kindnesses." ⁸ And saying is He, "Yea, My people are they, sons who are not dealing falsely.And He is becoming their Saviour, ⁹ in all their distress He is not a foe, not an agent or a messenger, but His presence saved them. In His love, and by His sparing, He, He redeems them, and He will transport and assist them all the days of the eon." ¹⁰ Yet they rebelled and grieved His holy spirit, and He is turning into their enemy, and He fights against them." ¹¹ Yet He will remember the days of the eon of Moses and His people. Where is He Who brought them up from the sea with the shepherd of His flock? Where is He Who placed within them His holy spirit, ¹² conducting them by the right hand of Moses, His glorious arm rending the water before them, to make for Himself a name eonian, ¹³ conducting them in the submerged chaos? As a horse in the wilderness, they are not stumbling." ¹⁴ As a beast into a valley is descending, the spirit of Yahweh is guiding them to rest. So lead You Your people, to make for Yourself a name of beauty."

⁴¹ Let us lift up our heart with our palms to the El in the heavens:

¹¹ And He said unto me, `Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel; lo, they are saying:Dried up have our bones, And perished has our hope, We have been cut off by ourselves."

¹⁶ My Lord, according to all Thy righteousness, pray, let Thy anger and Thy fury turn away from Thy city Jerusalem, Thy holy mountain. Because of our sins and depravities--ours and our forefathers--Jerusalem and Thy people, Lord, are a reproach to all around us."

³ And we shall know--we shall pursue to know Yahweh; as the dawn is prepared we shall find Him, and He will come to us as a downpour, as the latter rain and the former rain of the land."

² And many nations go and say:Go, and we will ascend to the mount of Yahweh, and to the house of the Elohim of Jacob, and He will direct us in His ways, and we will go in His paths. For from Zion shall fare forth the law, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem."

⁵ My people, remember, I pray, what Balak, king of Moab, counseled, and what Balaam, son of Beor, answered him, from Shittim unto Gilgal, that you may know the righteousness of Yahweh."

² WITH A SONG Yahweh, I hear Your report, I fear, Yahweh, Your contrivance; within the years make it live; within the years are You informing. In the disturbance You are remembering compassion."

²⁰ teaching them to be keeping all, whatever I direct you. And lo! I am with you all the days till the conclusion of the eon! Amen!"

²⁶ Now the consoler, the holy spirit, which the Father will be sending in My name, that will be teaching you all, and reminding you of all that I said to you."

¹³ Yet whenever that may be coming - the spirit of truth -it will be guiding you into all the truth, for it will not be speaking from itself, but whatsoever it should be hearing will it be speaking, and of what is coming will it be informing you." ¹⁴ That will be glorifying Me, seeing that of Mine will it be getting, and informing you." ¹⁵ All, whatever the Father has, is Mine. Therefore I said to you that of Mine is it getting, and will be informing you."

²⁰ because, by works of law, no flesh at all shall be justified in His sight, for through law is the recognition of sin."

⁵ Now expectation is not mortifying, seeing that the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the holy spirit which is being given to us."

² for the spirit's law of life in Christ Jesus frees you from the law of sin and death.

¹⁴ For whoever are being led by God's spirit, these are sons of God." ¹⁵ For you did not get slavery's spirit to fear again, but you got the spirit of sonship, in which we are crying, "Abba, Father!" ¹⁶ The spirit itself is testifying together with our spirit that we are children of God.

²⁶ Now, similarly, the spirit also is aiding our infirmity, for what we should be praying for, to accord with what must be, we are not aware, but the spirit itself is pleading for us with inarticulate groanings."

¹³ Now may the God of expectation be filling you with all joy and peace in believing, for you to be super-abounding in expectation, in the power of holy spirit."

³⁰ Now I am entreating you, brethren, through our Lord Jesus Christ, and through the love of the spirit, to struggle together with me in prayers to God for me,

¹⁶ having perceived that a man is not being justified by works of law, except alone through the faith of Christ Jesus, we also believe in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by the faith of Christ and not by works of law, seeing that by works of law shall no flesh at all be justified."

²² Now the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ meekness, self-control: against such things there is no law."

⁴ yet God, being rich in mercy, because of His vast love with which He loves us" ⁵ (we also being dead to the offenses and the lusts), vivifies us together in Christ (in grace are you saved!)"

³⁰ And do not be causing sorrow to the holy spirit of God by which you are sealed for the day of deliverance.

⁹ As children of light be walking (for the fruit of the light is in all goodness and righteousness and truth),

⁹ Therefore we also, from the day on which we hear, do not cease praying for you and requesting that you may be filled full with the realization of His will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, ¹⁰ you to walk worthily of the Lord for all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing in the realization of God;"

¹ For the rest, then, brethren, we are asking you and entreating in the Lord Jesus, that, according as you accepted from us how you must be walking and pleasing God (according as you are walking also), that you may be superabounding yet more, ² for you are aware what charges we give to you through the Lord Jesus.

⁷ for God gives us, not a spirit of timidity, but of power and of love and of sanity."

¹⁸ that by two immutable matters, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong consolation, who are fleeing for refuge to lay hold of the expectation lying before us,

²¹ be adapting you to every good work to do His will, doing in us what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to Whom be glory for the eons of the eons. Amen!"

⁹ If we should be avowing our sins, He is faithful and just that He may be pardoning us our sins and should be cleansing us from all injustice." ¹⁰ If we should be saying that we have not sinned, we are making Him a liar, and His word is not in us."

²⁷ And the anointing which you obtained from Him is remaining in you, and you have no need that anyone may be teaching you, but as His anointing is teaching you concerning all, and is true, and is no lie, according as it teaches you also, remain in Him."

¹⁴ And I have declared to him: "My lord, you are aware.And he said to me, "These are those coming out of the great affliction. And they rinse their robes, and they whiten them in the blood of the Lambkin." ¹⁵ Therefore they are before the throne of God and are offering divine service to Him day and night in His temple. And He Who is sitting on the throne will be tabernacling over them. ¹⁶ They shall not be hungering longer, nor yet shall they be thirsting any longer; no, neither should the sun be falling on them, nor any heat, ¹⁷ seeing that the throne-centered Lambkin shall be shepherding them, and shall be guiding them to living springs of water, and every tear shall God be brushing away from their eyes."
