¹ Balaam said to Balak:Build for me in this place seven altars and prepare for me in this place seven young bulls and seven rams. ² Balak did just as Balaam had spoken. Balak and Balaam offered up a young bull and a ram on each altar. ³ Then Balaam said to Balak:Station yourself at your ascent offering and let me go. Perhaps Yahweh shall happen to meet me; then whatever word He shall show me I will tell you. So he went off to the ridge. ⁴ Elohim met Balaam, and he said to Him:The seven altars have I arranged, and I offered up a young bull and a ram on each altar. ⁵ Yahweh placed a word in the mouth of Balaam and said:Return to Balak and thus shall you speak. ⁶ So he returned to him and behold, he and all the chiefs of Moab were stationed at his ascent offering. ⁷ He took up his discourse and said:From Syria Balak gave me guidance, the king of Moab from the mountains of the east:Come now and curse Jacob for me! And come now and menace Israel. ⁸ How should I revile when El has not reviled him? How should I menace when Yahweh has not menaced? ⁹ For from the summit of the rocks I am seeing him, and from the hills I am regarding him. Behold, the people is tabernacling by itself alone, and among the nations it is not reckoning itself. ¹⁰ Who counts the soil-drift of Jacob? And who numbers the dust cloud of Israel? May my soul die the death of the upright, and may my hereafter be just as his!" ¹¹ Then Balak said to Balaam:What have you done to me? To revile my enemies I took you, yet behold, you bless, yea bless them!" ¹² Yet he answered and said:What Yahweh places in my mouth, is it not it that I should observe to speak? ¹³ Balak said to him:Go, I pray, with me to another place from where you may see it. Only its outmost part shall you see; all of it you shall not see. Revile it for me from there. ¹⁴ So he took him to the field of the Watchmen, to the summit of the Pisgah ridge. He built seven altars and offered up a young bull and a ram on each altar. ¹⁵ Then he said to Balak:Station yourself thus at your ascent offering while I meet Him thus. ¹⁶ Yahweh met with Balaam and placed the word in his mouth and said:Return to Balak and thus shall you speak. ¹⁷ So he came to him, and behold, he was stationed at his ascent offering, and the chiefs of Moab with him. Balak said to him:What has Yahweh spoken? ¹⁸ He took up his discourse and said:Arise, Balak, and hear! Give ear unto me, son of Zippor!" ¹⁹ El is not a man that He should lie. Nor a son of humanity that He should feel regret. Does He say it and then not do it? Or speak and then not carry it out? ²⁰ Behold, I undertake to bless; He blesses and I shall not reverse it. ²¹ He does not look for sorrow in Jacob, nor does He see toil in Israel. Yahweh their Elohim is with him, and the shout of their king is with him. ²² El, Who brought them forth from Egypt, was to him like a wild bull's cornuted strength. ²³ For there is no augury against Jacob nor divination against Israel; at the right time it is spoken to Jacob and to Israel:What has El contrived! ²⁴ Behold, the people arise like a parent lion, and like a lion lifts himself. He shall not lie down until he devours the prey and drinks the blood of those wounded to death. ²⁵ Balak said to Balaam:If you shall not revile, yea revile him at all, you should also not bless, yea bless him at all!" ²⁶ Balaam responded and said to Balak:Did not I speak to you, saying:All that Yahweh shall speak, it I shall do? ²⁷ Balak said to Balaam:Come now, I pray. I shall take you to another place; perhaps it may be upright in the eyes of the One, Elohim, that you revile him for me from there. ²⁸ So Balak took Balaam to the summit of Peor, the one gazing over the surface of the desolation. ²⁹ Then Balaam said to Balak:Build for me in this place seven altars, and prepare for me in this place seven young bulls and seven rams. ³⁰ Balak did just as Balaam had said and offered up a young bull and a ram on each altar.

²⁴ An altar of ground soil shall you make for Me, and you will sacrifice on it your ascent offerings and your peace offerings, your flock and your herd. In every place where I shall record My name I shall come to you and will bless you.

¹ You will make the altar of acacia boards, five cubits the length and five cubits the width. The altar shall come to be square, and its rise shall be three cubits. ² You will make its horns on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it; and you will overlay it with copper. ³ You will make its pots for its greasy ash, and its shovels, its sprinkling bowls, its flesh-hooks, and its fire-pans; all its furnishings shall you make of copper. ⁴ You will make it for a grate, a handiwork of copper net, and make on the net four rings of copper on its four ends. ⁵ You will put it beneath the encompassment of the altar from below so that the net comes as far as halfway up the altar. ⁶ You will make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with copper. ⁷ Then you will insert its poles in the rings, and the poles will come to be on the two angle walls of the altar when carrying it. ⁸ Hollow, of planks, shall you make it; just as one shows you on the mount, so shall they do.

²⁹ Then Balaam said to Balak:Build for me in this place seven altars, and prepare for me in this place seven young bulls and seven rams.

³² On the seventh day:seven young bulls, two rams, fourteen flawless year-old he-lambs,

²² And Samuel said, `Has Yahweh had delight in burnt-offerings and sacrifices as [in] hearkening to the voice of Yahweh? lo, hearkening than sacrifice is better; to give attention than fat of rams;"

²² `And when you say unto me, Unto Yahweh our Elohim we have trusted, is it not He whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has turned aside, and said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Before this altar do you bow yourselves in Jerusalem?

²⁶ and it comes to pass, in Elohim's helping the Levites bearing the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, that they sacrifice seven bullocks and seven rams.

²¹ and they bring in seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven young he-goats, for a sin-offering for the kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for Judah; and he said to sons of Aaron, the priests, to cause [them] to ascend on the altar of Yahweh.

⁸ Now take for yourselves seven bullocks and seven rams. Go to my servant Job, and offer up an ascent offering on behalf of yourselves. And Job, my servant, he shall pray for you. For then I shall lift up his face by not inflicting on you any disgrace. For you did not speak concerning Me what is rightly so as My servant Job has done.

⁸ Not for your sacrifices shall I reprove you Or for your ascent offerings in front of Me continually. ⁹ I shall not take a young bull from your household, Or he-goats from your folds."

⁸ The sacrifice of the wicked is an abhorrence to Yahweh, Yet the prayer of the upright is acceptable to Him."

¹¹ Why, to Me, your many sacrifices?saying is Yahweh. "I am surfeited with ascent approaches of rams, and the fat of fatlings, and in the blood of young bulls and he-lambs and he-goats I do not delight." ¹² In case you are coming to appear before Me--Who seeks this from your hand, to tramp My courts? ¹³ Do not continue to bring a futile approach present. Incense--it is an abhorrence to Me! The new moon and the sabbath, the calling of a meeting--! I cannot bear a fast and a day of restraint!" ¹⁴ Your new moons and your appointments are hated by My soul. They become an encumbrance to Me. I am tired of bearing them. ¹⁵ And when you spread your palms to Me, I will obscure My eyes from you. Moreover, in case you are increasing your prayers, there is no hearing by Me. Your hands are full of blood. Amidst your fingers extrudes lawlessness."

³¹ And they come in unto you as the coming in of a people, And they sit before you--My people, And have heard your words, and they do them not, For doting loves with their mouth they are making, After their dishonest gain their heart is going."

²³ And the seven days of the feast he prepares a burnt-offering to Yahweh, seven bullocks, and seven rams, perfect ones, daily seven days, and a sin-offering, a kid of the goats, daily."

¹³ Now woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you are locking the kingdom of the heavens in front of men. For you are not entering, neither are you letting those entering to enter."

¹¹ Woe to them! for they went in the way of Cain, and in the deception of Balaam's wages were they poured out, and in the contradiction of Korah they perished."

¹⁴ So he took him to the field of the Watchmen, to the summit of the Pisgah ridge. He built seven altars and offered up a young bull and a ram on each altar.

³⁰ Balak did just as Balaam had said and offered up a young bull and a ram on each altar.

²⁰ And building is Noah an altar to Yahweh Elohim, and taking is he of every clean beast, and of every clean flyer, and is offering up ascent offerings on the altar.

² And saying is He, "Take, pray, your son, your only one, whom you love, Isaac, and go you to the land of Moriah, and offer him up there for an ascent offering on one of the mountains of which I will apprize you.

⁷ And speaking is Isaac to Abraham, his father, and saying, "My father!"And saying is he, "Behold me, my son.And saying is he, "Behold the fire and the wood, yet where is the flockling for the ascent offering? ⁸ And saying is Abraham, "The Elohim will see for Himself as to the flockling for the ascent offering, my son.

¹³ And lifting is Abraham his eyes and seeing, and behold! One ram is behind him, held in a thicket by its horns. And going is Abraham and taking the ram, and offering it up for an ascent offering instead of Isaac, his son.

¹² Then Jethro, the father-in-law of Moses, took an ascent offering along with sacrifices for Elohim, and Aaron and all the elders of Israel came to eat bread with the father-in-law of Moses, before the One, Elohim.

¹ He called to Moses, and Yahweh spoke to him from the tent of appointment, saying,

⁸ He said to them:Lodge here for the night, and I will bring back word to you just as Yahweh shall speak to me. So the chiefs of Moab dwelt with Balaam. ⁹ Now Elohim came to Balaam and said:Who are these men with you?

³¹ Yahweh exposed the eyes of Balaam so that he saw the messenger of Yahweh stationed in the road with his drawn sword in his hand. So he bowed his head and bowed himself down, with his nostrils to the ground. ³² The messenger of Yahweh said to him:On what grounds did you smite your jenny these three times? Behold, I myself came forth as your adversary, for your way in front of me is precipitant. ³³ The jenny saw me and turned aside from before me these three times. Unless she had turned aside from before me surely just now I would have killed you, and I would have preserved her alive. ³⁴ Then Balaam said to the messenger of Yahweh:I was at fault, for I did not realize that you were stationed to meet me on the road. And now, if it is evil in your eyes let me return to mine. ³⁵ The messenger of Yahweh said to Balaam:Go with the men, yet only the word which I speak to you may you speak to him. So Balaam went with the chiefs of Balak.

¹⁵ Then he said to Balak:Station yourself thus at your ascent offering while I meet Him thus.

¹ Balaam saw that it was good in the eyes of Yahweh to bless Israel so he did not go out, as he had done time upon time, to meet auguries, yet set his face toward the wilderness.

⁹ Now Elohim came to Balaam and said:Who are these men with you?

²⁰ Elohim came to Balaam at night and said to him:Since the men have come to call for you, rise, go with them. Yet only the word that I speak to you, only it shall you use.

¹ Balaam said to Balak:Build for me in this place seven altars and prepare for me in this place seven young bulls and seven rams.

¹⁶ Yahweh met with Balaam and placed the word in his mouth and said:Return to Balak and thus shall you speak.

³ Why do we fast, yet You do not see? We humble our souls, yet You are not knowing?Behold! In the day of your fast you are finding delight, and all your grievous labors are you exacting of others." ⁴ Behold! For contention and strife are you fasting, and to smite with the fist of wickedness. Not to Me are you fasting, as of today, to announce in the height with your voice."

¹² saying, 'These last do one hour, and you make them equal to us who bear the burden of the day and the scorching heat.'"

¹² I am fasting twice of a sabbath. I am taking tithes from all whatever I am acquiring.'

² for they will be putting you out of the synagogues; but coming is the hour that everyone who is killing you should suppose he is offering divine service to God.

²⁷ Where, then, is boasting? It is debarred! Through what law?

⁹ not of works, lest anyone should be boasting."

³⁵ The messenger of Yahweh said to Balaam:Go with the men, yet only the word which I speak to you may you speak to him. So Balaam went with the chiefs of Balak.

¹⁸ A Prophet shall I raise up to them from among their brothers, like you, and I will put My words in His mouth, and He will speak to them all that I shall instruct Him.

¹ To humanity belong the arrangements of the heart, Yet from Yahweh comes the answer of the tongue."

⁹ A man's heart devises his way, Yet Yahweh establishes his steps."

¹⁶ And I will place My words in your mouth, and by the shadow of My hand I cover you, to stretch out the heavens, and to found the earth, and to say to Zion, "My people are you."

²¹ And I--this is My covenant with them,says Yahweh. "My spirit, which is on you, and My word, which I place in your mouth, shall not remove from your mouth, or from the mouth of your seed, or from the mouth of your seed's seed,says Yahweh, "Henceforth and till the eon."

⁹ And Yahweh puts forth His hand, and strikes against my mouth, and Yahweh said unto me, `Lo, I have put my words in your mouth."

¹² for the holy spirit will be teaching you in the same hour what you must be saying."

⁵¹ Now this he said, not from himself, but, being the chief priest of that year, he prophesies that Jesus was about to be dying for the sake of the nation,

²² The sons of Shem: Elam and Ashur, and Arphaxad and Lud and Aram and Cainan.

² Rise, go to Padan, Syria, the home of Bethuel, your mother's father and take for yourself thence a wife, from the daughters of Laban, the brother of your mother.

⁷ and that Jacob is hearkening to his father and to his mother, and is going to Padan, Syria.

⁵ sent messengers to Balaam son of Beor at Pethor (which is on the Stream in the land of the sons of his people) to call for him, saying:Behold, a people has come forth from Egypt. Behold, they cover the eye of the land, and they are dwelling at my forefront. ⁶ Now come, I pray, curse this people for me, for they are more substantial than I. Perhaps I shall prevail, so that we may smite them and I may drive them out from the land, for I know that whomever you bless is being blessed and whomever you curse is accursed.

¹¹ Behold, the people coming forth from Egypt are covering the eye of the land! Now go, revile him for me. Perhaps I shall be able to fight him, and I will drive him out.

¹⁷ for I shall glorify, yea glorify you exceedingly, and all that you may say to me I shall do. So come now I pray, revile this people for me.

¹⁸ He took up his discourse and said:Arise, Balak, and hear! Give ear unto me, son of Zippor!"

³ He took up his discourse and said:The averring of Balaam son of Beor, and the averring of the master with his eye obstructed;"

²¹ When he saw the Kenite, he took up his discourse and said:Perennial is your dwelling, and set high in a crag is your nest.

²³ Then he took up his discourse and said:Woe! Who shall live when El lays it down?

⁴ on the score that they did not succor you with bread and with water along the main road when you came forth from Egypt and that they hired against you Balaam son of Beor, from Pethor, Aram-naharayim, to maledict you.

¹⁰ And the Philistine said, `I have reproached the ranks of Israel this day; give to me a man, and we fight together..

²⁵ And the men of Israel say, `Have you seen this man who is coming up? for, to reproach Israel he is coming up, and it has been--the man who smites him, the king does enrich him with great riches, and his daughter he does give to him, and his father's house does make free in Israel.. <sup>26</sup> And David speaks unto the men who are standing by him, saying, `What is done to the man who smites this Philistine, and has turned aside reproach from Israel? for who [is] this uncircumcised Philistine that he has reproached the ranks of the living Elohim?.

³⁶ Both the lion and the bear has your servant smitten, and this uncircumcised Philistine has been as one of them, for he has reproached the ranks of the living Elohim..

⁴⁵ And David said unto the Philistine, `You are coming unto me with sword, and with spear, and with buckler, and I am coming unto you in the name of Yahweh of Hosts, Elohim of the ranks of Israel, which you have reproached.

²¹ and he reproaches Israel, and smite him does Jonathan son of Shimeah, brother of David;"

⁹ And after him [is] Eleazar son of Dodo, son of Ahohi, of the three mighty men with David; in their exposing themselves among the Philistines--they have been gathered there to battle, and the men of Israel go up-.

⁴⁹ And I say, `Ah, Lord Yahweh, They are saying of me, Is he not using similes?

⁴ In that day a proverb will be lifted concerning you, and it shall plaint a plaint, plaintively, saying:We are utterly devastated. He is changing the portion of my people. How is He removing what is for me? He is apportioning our fields to the backslider."

⁶ Shall not these, all of them, take up a proverb against him, and mocking problems for him? And they will say:Woe to the one increasing what is not his! Till when? And to him making heavy his yoke with security!"

³³ Another parable He speaks to them, saying, "Like is the kingdom of the heavens to leaven which a woman, getting, hides in three seahs of meal, till the whole was leavened."

³⁵ so that fulfilled may be that which is declared through the prophet saying, I shall be opening My mouth in parables, I shall be emitting what is hid from the disruption."

¹² And they sought to hold Him, and they were afraid of the throng, for they know that He spoke the parable to them. And, leaving Him, they came away."

¹² Then Elohim said to Balaam:You shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people, for it is blessed.

²⁰ Behold, I undertake to bless; He blesses and I shall not reverse it.

²³ For there is no augury against Jacob nor divination against Israel; at the right time it is spoken to Jacob and to Israel:What has El contrived!

²⁵ Annulling the signs of the inventors of deception, and making the diviners bluster, causing the wise to return backward, and making their knowledge silly,

¹² Then stand, pray, by your magic charms, and by your many enchantments, with which you were acquainted from your youth until today. Perhaps you can benefit! Perhaps you will be staunch!" ¹³ You are tired with your many counsels. Standing, pray, are they, and saving you are the astrologers, the seers of visions in the stars, the informers for new moons, from the things which are coming on you?

⁵ Now, if you shall hearken, yea hearken to My voice and observe My covenant then you will become Mine, a special possession, above all the peoples, for Mine is all the earth. ⁶ As for you, you shall become Mine, a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak to the sons of Israel.

¹⁶ Whereby shall it be known, indeed, that I find grace in Your eyes, I and Your people? Is it not by Your going with us that we may be distinguished, I and Your people, from all the peoples who are on the surface of the ground?

⁸ When the Supreme gave the nations allotments, when He parted the sons of Adam, He stationed the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the sons of El.

²⁸ So Israel shall tabernacle in trust; solitary is the spring of Jacob in a land of grain and grape juice. Indeed, his heavens shall trickle the night mist.

² For they have taken up some of their daughters for themselves and for their sons, so that the holy seed has become mixed with the peoples of these countries. And the hand of the chiefs and the prefects has been first in this offense.

⁸ Then Haman said to king Xerxes:There is a certain people dispersed and parted among the peoples in all the provinces of your kingdom; and their edicts are diverse from any other people. They are not obeying the king's edicts, and for the king it is not appropriate to tolerate them.

²⁸ You, you do not fear, My servant Jacob, An affirmation of Yahweh--for with you I [am], For I make an end of all the nations Whither I have driven you, And of you I do not make an end, And I have reproved you in judgment, And do not entirely acquit you!'"

⁹ For behold! I am instructing, and I will jerk the house of Israel to and fro, among all nations, just as grain in a sieve is jerked to and fro, yet a pouch-full shall not fall to the earth."

⁸ For I am saying that Christ has become the Servant of the Circumcision, for the sake of the truth of God, to confirm the patriarchal promises." ⁹ Yet the nations are to glorify God for His mercy, according as it is written, "Therefore I shall be acclaiming Thee among the nations,And to Thy name shall I be playing music." ¹⁰ And again he is saying, "Be merry, ye nations, with His people!"

¹⁷ Wherefore, Come out of their midst and be severed, the Lord is saying. And touch not the unclean, and I will admit you,

¹² that you were, in that era, apart from Christ, being alienated from the citizenship of Israel, and guests of the promise covenants, having no expectation, and without God in the world." ¹³ Yet now, in Christ Jesus, you, who once are far off, are become near by the blood of Christ." ¹⁴ For He is our Peace, Who makes both one, and razes the central wall of the barrier"

¹⁴ Who gives Himself for us, that He should be redeeming us from all lawlessness and be cleansing for Himself a people to be about Him, zealous for ideal acts."

⁹ Yet you are a chosen race, a "royal priesthood,a "holy nation,a procured people, so that you should be recounting the virtues of Him Who calls you out of darkness into His marvelous light,

¹⁶ And I make your seed as the soil of the land. Could a man count the soil of the land, moreover, then your seed shall be counted.

¹⁷ that, blessing, yea, blessing you am I, and increasing, yea, increasing your seed am I as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the sea shore. And your seed shall tenant the gateway of its enemies,

¹⁴ And become shall your seed as the soil of the land. And breach forth will you seaward and eastward and northward and toward the south-rim. And blessed, in you, are all the families of the ground, and in your seed.

⁹ All the ones being mustered of the camp of Judah are a hundred eighty-six thousand four hundred, by their militia hosts. As the first shall they journey.

²⁴ All the ones being mustered of the camp of Ephraim are a hundred eight thousand one hundred, by their militia hosts. As third ones shall they journey.

³¹ All the ones being mustered of the camp of Dan are a hundred fifty seven thousand six hundred. As the last shall they journey under their standards.

³⁷ Observe the flawless, and see the upright, That there is a hereafter for the man of peace."

¹⁵ Precious in the eyes of Yahweh Is the death of His benign ones.

³² The wicked man is tripped up by his evil, Yet the righteous one takes refuge in his integrity."

¹ And the righteous one perishes, and no man is laying it to heart, and kind mortals are being gathered, yet no one is understanding. For, in view of the evil, gathered are the righteous, ² and entering into peace, and resting on their beds, and going in correctness."

²⁹ Now art Thou dismissing Thy slave, O Owner, According to Thy declaration, in peace, ³⁰ For my eyes perceived Thy Salvation,

²¹ So that, let no one be boasting in men, for all is yours, ²² whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or the present, or that which is impending - all is yours,

⁵³ For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal put on immortality." ⁵⁴ Now, whenever this corruptible should be putting on incorruption and this mortal should be putting on immortality, then shall come to pass the word which is written, Swallowed up was Death by Victory." ⁵⁵ Where, O Death, is your victory? Where, O Death, is your sting? ⁵⁶ Now the sting of Death is sin, yet the power of sin is the law." ⁵⁷ Now thanks be to God, Who is giving us the victory, through our Lord Jesus Christ."

¹ For we are aware that, if our terrestrial tabernacle house should be demolished, we have a building of God, a house not made by hands, eonian, in the heavens."

²¹ For to me to be living is Christ, and to be dying, gain." ²² Now if it is to be living in flesh, this to me means fruit from work, and what I shall be preferring I am not making known." ²³ (Yet I am being pressed out of the two, having a yearning for the solution and to be together with Christ, for it, rather, is much better.)"

⁶ For I am already a libation, and the period of my dissolution is imminent." ⁷ I have contended the ideal contest. I have finished my career. I have kept the faith. ⁸ Furthermore, there is reserved for me the wreath of righteousness, which the Lord, the just Judge, will be paying to me in that day; yet not to me only, but also to all who love His advent."

¹³ Now I am deeming it just, for as much time as I am in this tabernacle, to be rousing you by a reminder, ¹⁴ being aware that my tabernacle is to be put off swiftly according as our Lord, Jesus Christ, also makes evident to me." ¹⁵ Yet I shall endeavor to have you, after my exodus, to make mention of these things, ever and anon, also."

¹³ And I hear a voice out of heaven, saying, "Write: 'Happy are the dead who are dying in the Lord henceforth! Yea, the spirit is saying that they will be resting from their toil, for their acts are following with them.'"

⁷ He took up his discourse and said:From Syria Balak gave me guidance, the king of Moab from the mountains of the east:Come now and curse Jacob for me! And come now and menace Israel. ⁸ How should I revile when El has not reviled him? How should I menace when Yahweh has not menaced?

¹⁰ Now Balak's anger grew hot against Balaam, and he slapped his palms together. Balak said to Balaam:To revile my enemies I called you, and behold, you have blessed, yea blessed them these three times!"

² because they have not come before the sons of Israel with bread and with water, and hire against them Balaam to revile them, and our Elohim turns the reviling into a blessing.

¹⁷ He loved malediction; may it come back on him. He has not delighted in blessing; may it stay far from him. ¹⁸ He clothed himself with malediction as his coat; May it enter within him like water, And like oil into his bones." ¹⁹ May it be upon him like a cloak with which he is muffled, And like a cordon that he girds about him continually." ²⁰ May this be the wage for my adversaries from Yahweh, And for those speaking evil against my soul."

³⁸ And Balaam said to Balak:Behold, I have come to you now. Can I prevail to speak anything freely? The word that Elohim places in my mouth, it shall I speak.

²⁶ Balaam responded and said to Balak:Did not I speak to you, saying:All that Yahweh shall speak, it I shall do?

¹³ If Balak were giving to me the fullness of his house in silver and gold, I could not cross the bidding of Yahweh to do what is good or evil out of my own heart. Whatever Yahweh shall speak, it shall I speak.

²⁵ When his voice sounds generous, do not believe him, For seven abhorrences are in his heart."

¹⁸ for such for our Lord Christ are not slaving, but for their own bowels, and through compliments and adulation are deluding the hearts of the innocent."

¹⁶ They are avowing an acquaintance with God, yet by their acts are denying it, being abominable and stubborn, and disqualified for every good act."

⁴¹ It came to be in the morning that Balak took Balaam and brought him up to the fane heights of Baal that he might see from there the outmost part of the people.

⁹ `And Balak son of Zippor, king of Moab, rises and fights against Israel, and sends and calls for Balaam son of Beor, to revile you,

²³ And the servants of the king of Aram said unto him, `Elohims of hills [are] their elohims, therefore they were stronger than we; and yet, we fight with them in the plain--are we not stronger than they?

²⁸ And there comes nigh a man of Elohim, and speaks unto the king of Israel, and said, `Thus said Yahweh, Because that the Arameans have said, Elohim of hills [is] Yahweh, and He [is] not Elohim of valleys--I have given the whole of this great multitude into your hand, and you have known that I [am] Yahweh..

¹⁷ He loved malediction; may it come back on him. He has not delighted in blessing; may it stay far from him.

⁵ My people, remember, I pray, what Balak, king of Moab, counseled, and what Balaam, son of Beor, answered him, from Shittim unto Gilgal, that you may know the righteousness of Yahweh."

⁹ With it we are blessing the Lord and Father, and with it we are cursing men who have come to be in accord with God's likeness." ¹⁰ Out of the same mouth is coming forth blessing and cursing. There is no need, my brethren, for this to become thus."

²⁰ and from Bamoth to the ravine which is in the field of Moab, the summit of the Pisgah ridge that gazes over the surface of the desolation.

¹ Balaam said to Balak:Build for me in this place seven altars and prepare for me in this place seven young bulls and seven rams. ² Balak did just as Balaam had spoken. Balak and Balaam offered up a young bull and a ram on each altar.

²⁷ Ascend to the summit of the Pisgah ridge, and lift up your eyes westward and northward and southward and eastward and see with your eyes, for you shall not cross over this Jordan.

⁴⁹ and all the Transjordan Aravah toward the sunrise and as far as the sea of the Aravah below the slopes of the Pisgah ridge.

¹ Then Moses ascended from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, the summit of the Pisgah ridge, which is overlooking Jericho. And Yahweh showed him all the land:Gilead as far as Dan;"

¹⁰ Hear the word of Yahweh, captains of Sodom! Give ear to the law of Elohim, you people of Gomorrah!" ¹¹ Why, to Me, your many sacrifices?saying is Yahweh. "I am surfeited with ascent approaches of rams, and the fat of fatlings, and in the blood of young bulls and he-lambs and he-goats I do not delight."

⁶ Squanderers of gold from a purse, and silver, with reed scales will they weigh. They will hire a refiner and he will make of it an el. And they will fall on their knees and face. Indeed, they will worship!"

¹¹ Should Gilead have lawlessness, yea, they shall become futility. In Gilgal they sacrifice bulls; moreover, their altars are as mounds on the furrows of a field."

⁸ He said to them:Lodge here for the night, and I will bring back word to you just as Yahweh shall speak to me. So the chiefs of Moab dwelt with Balaam.

³ Then Balaam said to Balak:Station yourself at your ascent offering and let me go. Perhaps Yahweh shall happen to meet me; then whatever word He shall show me I will tell you. So he went off to the ridge.

⁵ Yahweh placed a word in the mouth of Balaam and said:Return to Balak and thus shall you speak.

¹⁷ And he said, `What [is] the word which He has spoken unto you? I pray you, hide it not from me; so does Elohim do to you, and so does He add, if you hide from me a word of all the words that He has spoken unto you..

¹⁷ and the king Zedekiah sends, and takes him, and the king asks him in his house in secret, and said, `Is there a word from Yahweh?' And Jeremiah said, `There is,' and he said, `Into the hand of the king of Babylon you are given.'"

²⁰ And Ehud has come unto him, and he is sitting in the upper chamber of the wall which he has for himself, and Ehud said, `A word of Elohim I have unto you;' and he rises from off the throne;"

²⁹ and also, the Pre-eminence of Israel does not lie nor repent, for He [is] not a man to be penitent..

¹⁷ And this is small in Your eyes, O Elohim, and You speak concerning the house of your servant afar off, and have seen me as a type of the man who is on high, O Yahweh Elohim!"

³⁵ Once for all have I sworn by My holiness; I shall assuredly not lie to David:

⁹ I will not execute the heat of My anger; I will not return to ruin Ephraim, for the El am I, and not a man, the Holy One in your midst, and I will not enter into the city."

²⁰ You wilt render the truth to Jacob, the kindness to Abraham, which You swear to our forefathers from days aforetime."

³ For the vision is yet for an appointed time; and it will bud at the end, and will not lie dormant. If it be dallying, tarry for it, for it will surely come, and it will not delay."

⁶ For I, Yahweh your Elohim, do not alter; and you, sons of Jacob, are not finished."

³³ Heaven and earth shall be passing by, yet My words shall by no means be passing by."

²⁹ For unregretted are the graces and the calling of God.

² in expectation of life eonian, which God, Who does not lie, promises before times eonian,

¹⁸ that by two immutable matters, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong consolation, who are fleeing for refuge to lay hold of the expectation lying before us,

¹⁷ All good giving and every perfect gratuity is from above, descending from the Father of lights, in Whom there is no mutation or shadow from revolving motion."

² And make you will I into a great nation, and bless you will I and make your name great, and become must you a blessing.

¹⁸ Yet Balaam answered and said to the servants of Balak:If Balak were giving to me the fullness of his house in silver and gold I could not cross the bidding of Yahweh my Elohim to do what is small or great.

¹³ Moreover, from the eon I am He, and there is no rescuing from My hand. I will contrive, and who will reverse it?

²⁷ My sheep are hearing My voice, and I know them, and they are following Me." ²⁸ And I am giving them life eonian, and they should by no means be perishing for the eon, and no one shall be snatching them out of My hand." ²⁹ My Father, Who has given them to Me, is greater than all, and no one is able to be snatching them out of My Father's hand."

³⁸ For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor messengers, nor sovereignties, nor the present, nor what is impending, nor powers, ³⁹ nor height, nor depth, nor any other creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, our Lord."

⁵ who are garrisoned by the power of God, through faith, for salvation ready to be revealed in the last era,

²¹ then Yahweh was going before them by day in a column of cloud to guide them along the way, and by night in a column of fire, to give light for them to go by day and night.

⁴⁵ I will tabernacle in the midst of the sons of Israel and will become their Elohim. ⁴⁶ Then they will realize that I am Yahweh their Elohim Who brought them forth from the land of Egypt that I may tabernacle in their midst. I am Yahweh their Elohim.

¹⁴ And He said: My presence, shall it go that I may give rest to you? ¹⁵ So he said to him: If Your presence is not going, do not bring us up hence!" ¹⁶ Whereby shall it be known, indeed, that I find grace in Your eyes, I and Your people? Is it not by Your going with us that we may be distinguished, I and Your people, from all the peoples who are on the surface of the ground?

⁹ and said: I pray, if I find grace in Your eyes, my Lord, I pray, let my Lord go among us, for they are a stiff-necked people, and You will pardon our depravity and our sins, and You will gain us an allotment.

⁵ So He became king in Yeshurun when the heads of the people gathered themselves together with the tribes of Israel.

¹³ And Gideon said unto him, `O, my lord--and Yahweh is with us! --and why has all this found us? and where [are] all His wonders which our fathers recounted to us, saying, Has not Yahweh brought us up out of Egypt? and now Yahweh has left us, and does give us into the hand of Midian..

¹² `And lo, with us--at [our] head--[is] Elohim, and His priests and trumpets of shouting to shout against you; O sons of Israel, do not fight with Yahweh, Elohim of your fathers, for you do not prosper..

⁴ Even though I should walk in the ravine of blackest shadow, I shall not fear evil, For You are with me; Your club and Your staff, they are comforting me."

² Happy is the human to whom Yahweh is not reckoning depravity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit!"

⁵ I am now acknowledging my sin to You, And I do not cover over my depravity. I said, I shall confess against myself my transgressions to Yahweh, And You, You lift away the depravity of my sin. {Interlude{ "

¹⁵ Happy are the people who know the joyful shouting; O Yahweh, they shall walk in the light of Your presence." ¹⁶ In Your Name shall they exult the entire day, And in Your righteousness shall they be exalted." ¹⁷ For You are the beauty of their strength, And by Your benevolence shall our horn be exalted." ¹⁸ For our shield is of Yahweh, And our king is of the Holy One of Israel."

¹ Yahweh reigns; let the earth exult; Let the many coastlands rejoice.

¹² As far as the east is from the west, So He removes our transgressions far from us."

¹⁵ The sound of jubilant song and salvation Comes from the tents of the righteous:Yahweh's right hand does valiantly;

¹⁸ Go, pray and it shall be corrected,saying is Yahweh. "If your sins are coming to be as double dipped scarlet, as snow shall they be white. If they are reddened as crimson, as wool shall they become."

¹⁰ Counsel with counsel, yet it shall be annulled! Speak the word, yet it shall not be confirmed! For with us is El!"

⁶ Make a noise and be jubilant, dweller of Zion, for great within you is the Holy One of Israel!"

²² For Yahweh is our Judge, and Yahweh is our Statute Maker, and Yahweh is our King; He will save us!"

¹⁷ Behold! For welfare there is bitterness to me; very great bitterness. Yet You are attached to my soul, to keep it from the ruin of decay, for You do fling behind Your body all my sins."

¹⁰ You must not fear, for I am with you, and you must not take heed for yourself, for I am your Elohim. I make you resolute; indeed, I help you. Indeed, I uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.'"

²⁰ In those days, and at that time, An affirmation of Yahweh, Sought is the iniquity of Israel, and it is not, And the sin of Judah, and it is not found, For I am propitious to those whom I leave!"

³⁵ Round about [is] eighteen thousand, and the renown of the city [is] from the day Yahweh [is] there.'"

² Take words with you and return to Yahweh, your Elohim; say to Him:Wilt You bear away all the depravity? Take the good, and we will repay with the fruit of our lips." ³ Assyria will not save us; we will not ride on the horse. Nor shall we still say, Our elohim, to the work of our hands. For in You, the orphan is being shown compassion." ⁴ I will heal their backsliding; I will love them willingly, for My anger is reversed from him."

¹⁸ Who is an El as You are, bearing with depravity, and passing over transgression, for the remnant of His allotment? He does not hold fast His anger for the future. For He delights in kindness." ¹⁹ He will return, having compassion on us. He will subdue our depravities. And You wilt fling into the shadowy depths of the sea all our sins." ²⁰ You wilt render the truth to Jacob, the kindness to Abraham, which You swear to our forefathers from days aforetime."

²³ "Lo! The virgin shall be pregnant
And shall be bringing forth a Son,
And they shall be calling His name 'Emmanuel,'
which is, being construed, "God with us."

³⁷ Now at His already drawing near to the descent of the mount of Olives, the entire multitude of the disciples begins rejoicing, praising God with a loud voice concerning all the powerful deeds which they perceived, ³⁸ saying, "Blessed be the King coming in the name of the Lord! In heaven peace, and glory among the highest!"

⁷ Happy they whose lawlessnesses were pardoned and whose sins were covered over! ⁸ Happy the man to whom the Lord by no means should be reckoning sin!

¹⁴ For Sin shall not be lording it over you, for you are not under law, but under grace."

¹ Nothing, consequently, is now condemnation to those in Christ Jesus. Not according to flesh are they walking, but according to spirit,

¹⁴ Now thanks be to God, Who always gives us a triumph in Christ, and is manifesting the odor of His knowledge through us in every place,

¹⁹ how that God was in Christ, conciliating the world to Himself, not reckoning their offenses to them, and placing in us the word of the conciliation."

¹⁶ Now what concurrence has a temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God, according as God said, that I will be making My home and will be walking in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

¹⁶ Howbeit, for this sake I keep you standing, in order to make you see My vigor, and that My name may be related in the entire earth.

¹⁸ Then the Egyptians will know that I am Yahweh when I am glorified over Pharaoh, over his chariots and over his horsemen.

² I am Yahweh your Elohim Who brought you forth from the land of Egypt, from the house of servants.

⁵ sent messengers to Balaam son of Beor at Pethor (which is on the Stream in the land of the sons of his people) to call for him, saying:Behold, a people has come forth from Egypt. Behold, they cover the eye of the land, and they are dwelling at my forefront.

⁸ El Who brought him forth from Egypt is to him as a wild bull's cornuted strength. He shall devour the nations, his foes, and pick their bones clean; His arrow shall transfix the enemy.

¹⁷ as the firstborn of his kine brings honor to him, and his horns are the horns of the wild bull. With them he shall gore the peoples altogether, to the limits of the earth. Those are the myriads of Ephraim, and those are the thousands of Manasseh.

⁹ Is the wild bull willing to serve you? Would he lodge all night at your crib? ¹⁰ Can you tie the wild bull with curb and rope? Would he harrow the vales after you? ¹¹ Would you put trust in Him because his vigor is great, And would you leave your labor to him?

²¹ Save me from the mouth of the lion And from the horns of the wild bulls-- You have answered me!

³⁵ Fear inspiring is Elohim from His grand sanctuary; The El of Israel, He gives strength and staunchness to His people. Blessed be Elohim! {Permanent{ {Concerning Elations {Anemones{{ "

¹⁰ Yet You shall exalt my horn like that of a wild bull; You will empower me with flourishing oil.

¹⁵ And enmity am I setting between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He shall hurt your head and you shall hurt his heel.

⁶ Now come, I pray, curse this people for me, for they are more substantial than I. Perhaps I shall prevail, so that we may smite them and I may drive them out from the land, for I know that whomever you bless is being blessed and whomever you curse is accursed. ⁷ The elders of Moab and the elders of Midian went with the pay for divinations in their hands. They came to Balaam and spoke to him the words of Balak.

²² And Balaam, son of Beor, the diviner, have the sons of Israel slain with the sword, among their wounded ones.

¹⁹ How great is Your goodness Which You have stored up for those fearing You, And have effected for those seeking refuge in You In front of the sons of humanity."

¹ {For the Sons of Korah, Contemplating{ O Elohim, with our ears we have heard; Our fathers, they recounted it to us:The deed You effected in their days, in the days aforetime." ² You, by Your hand, You evicted the nations, And You planted them there. You brought evil to the national groups, And You sent them in." ³ For neither by their sword did they tenant the land, Nor did their arm bring salvation for them. But it was Your right hand and Your arm of power and the light of Your countenance, For You held them dear."

⁹ And every human shall fear. Then they shall tell of Elohim's deeds And will contemplate His handiwork.

² Then our mouth was filled with mirth And our tongue with jubilant song. Then they said among the nations, Yahweh has done great things in His dealings with these people." ³ Yahweh did do great things in His dealings with us; We were a rejoicing people.

¹³ To the One severing the Sea of Weeds into severed parts, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹⁴ And Who caused Israel to pass through its midst, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹⁵ And Who shook off Pharaoh and his army into the Sea of Weeds, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹⁶ To the One conducting His people through the wilderness, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹⁷ To the One smiting great kings, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹⁸ And Who killed prestigious kings, For His benignity is eonian;" ¹⁹ Sihon king of the Amorite, For His benignity is eonian;" ²⁰ And Og king of Bashan, For His benignity is eonian;"

⁴ Who contrives and does these things, calling generations from the beginning? I, Yahweh, the First, and to the last times I am He!"

⁹ in all their distress He is not a foe, not an agent or a messenger, but His presence saved them. In His love, and by His sparing, He, He redeems them, and He will transport and assist them all the days of the eon." ¹⁰ Yet they rebelled and grieved His holy spirit, and He is turning into their enemy, and He fights against them." ¹¹ Yet He will remember the days of the eon of Moses and His people. Where is He Who brought them up from the sea with the shepherd of His flock? Where is He Who placed within them His holy spirit, ¹² conducting them by the right hand of Moses, His glorious arm rending the water before them, to make for Himself a name eonian,

¹⁵ And now, my Lord our Elohim, Who brought Thy people forth from the land of Egypt with a steadfast hand, and art making for Thyself a name as at this day; we sin, we are wicked."

⁴ For I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and from the house of servants I ransomed you. And I am sending before you Moses, Aaron and Miriam." ⁵ My people, remember, I pray, what Balak, king of Moab, counseled, and what Balaam, son of Beor, answered him, from Shittim unto Gilgal, that you may know the righteousness of Yahweh."

¹⁵ As the days of your faring forth from the land of Egypt, will I show marvels to them."

²⁵ Now, having perceived their sentiments, He said to them, "Every kingdom parted against itself is being desolated, and every city or house parted against itself shall not stand."

²⁷ And if I, by Beezeboul, am casting out demons, by whom are your sons casting them out? Therefore they shall be your judges."

¹⁸ Now I, also, am saying to you that you are Peter, and on this rock will I be building My ecclesia, and the gates of the unseen shall not be prevailing against it."

¹⁸ Yet He said to them, "I beheld Satan, as lightning, falling out of heaven." ¹⁹ Lo! I have given you authority to be treading upon serpents and scorpions and over the entire power of the enemy, and nothing shall be injuring you under any circumstances."

⁴⁷ The chief priests and the Pharisees, then, gathered a Sanhedrin and said, "What are we doing, seeing that this man is doing many signs?

¹⁶ saying, "What should we be doing to these men? For, indeed, that a known sign has occurred through them is apparent to all who are dwelling at Jerusalem, and we can not deny it."

¹² Now through the hands of the apostles many signs and miracles occurred among the people. And they were all, with one accord, in the portico of Solomon."

¹⁴ yet, rather, there were added of those believing the Lord, multitudes of both men and women,

³⁸ Jesus from Nazareth, as God anoints Him with holy spirit and power, Who passed through as a benefactor and healer of all those who are tyrannized over by the Adversary, for God was with Him."

¹² Now the entire multitude hushes, and they heard Barnabas and Paul unfolding whatever signs and miracles God does among the nations through them."

²⁰ Now the God of peace will be crushing Satan under your feet swiftly. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you!

²³ Yet only they were hearing that "He who once was persecuting us, now is evangelizing the faith which once he ravaged." ²⁴ And they glorified God in me.

⁸ For from you has been sounded forth the word of the Lord, not only in Macedonia and in Achaia, but in every place your faith toward God has come out, so that we have no need to be speaking of anything, ⁹ for they are reporting concerning us, what kind of an entrance we have had to you, and how you turn back to God from idols, to be slaving for the living and true God,

⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, the ancient serpent called Adversary and Satan, who is deceiving the whole inhabited earth. It was cast into the earth, and its messengers were cast with it."

⁹ The whelp of a lion is Judah. From the prey, my son, bow will he, recline as a lion. And as a parent lion, who will make him rise?

²⁷ Benjamin is a wolf, tearing to pieces. In the morning he'll devour further, and in the evening he'll apportion the loot.

⁸ El Who brought him forth from Egypt is to him as a wild bull's cornuted strength. He shall devour the nations, his foes, and pick their bones clean; His arrow shall transfix the enemy. ⁹ He crouches and lies down like a lion, and like a parent lion; who shall make him rise? Whoever is blessing you is blessed and whoever is cursing you is cursed.

¹⁷ I see him yet not now, I regard him yet not near. A star will tread forth from Jacob; a scepter will arise from Israel, and he will transfix both edges of Moab, and the scalp of all the sons of tumult.

²⁰ About Gad he said:Blessed be the One widening the space for Gad. As a parent lion he tabernacles and preys upon arm or scalp.

¹² His likeness is like a lion that longs to tear prey, And like a sheltered lion sitting in concealment."

³⁰ The long-maned lion is masterful among the beasts And does not turn back from the face of anyone;

⁴ For thus says Yahweh to me, "As snarling is the lion and the sheltered lion over its prey, when calling against it are a full number of graziers, by their voice it is not being dismayed, and by their throng it is not being humbled, so will Yahweh of hosts descend to muster on mount Zion, and on its hill."

⁴⁴ In their days, that is, of these kings, the Eloah of the heavens will set up a kingdom that for the eons shall not come to harm. His kingdom shall not be left to another people. It will pulverize and terminate all these kingdoms, and it shall be confirmed for the eons."

⁸ The lion roars--who will not fear? My Lord Yahweh speaks--who will not prophesy?

⁸ And the remnant of Jacob shall come to be among the nations, within many peoples, as a lion among the beasts of the wildwood, and as a sheltered lion among the droves of the flock, which, if it passes, then it tramps, and it tears to pieces, and there is no rescue." ⁹ Your hand shall be high over your foes, and all your enemies shall be cut off."

¹¹ Where is the habitation of the lions, and the feeding place, that of the sheltered lions, where the lion goes, the parent lion, and the whelp of the lioness, and nothing causes them to tremble?

⁴ From him is the cornerstone, from Him is the peg, from Him is the battle bow, from Him shall every exactor fare forth together." ⁵ And they shall become as masters, trampling in the mud of the streets, in the battle, and they shall fight, for Yahweh is with them, and the riders of horses shall be ashamed."

⁶ In that day I will make the mentors of Judah as a chafing pan of fire among sticks, and as a torch of fire in a sheaf, and they devour all the peoples round about, on the right and on the left. Jerusalem shall still dwell under herself, in Jerusalem."

⁵ And one of the elders is saying to me, "Do not lament! Lo! He conquers! The Lion out of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, is to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals!"

¹¹ And I perceived heaven open, and lo! a white horse. And He Who is sitting on it is called "Faithful and True,and in righteousness is He judging and battling." ¹² Now His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems, having names written of which no one except Himself is aware, ¹³ and He is clothed in a cloak dipped in blood, and His name is called "The Word of God." ¹⁴ And the armies in heaven, dressed in cambric, white and clean, followed Him on white horses." ¹⁵ And out of His mouth a sharp blade is issuing, that with it He should be smiting the nations. And He will be shepherding them with an iron club. And He is treading the wine trough of the fury of the indignation of God, the Almighty." ¹⁶ And on His cloak and on His thigh He has a name written: "King of kings and Lord of lords." ¹⁷ And I perceived another messenger, standing in the sun. And he cries with a loud voice, saying to all the birds which are flying in mid-heaven, "Hither! Be gathered for the great dinner of God, ¹⁸ that you may be eating the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of the strong, and the flesh of horses and of those sitting on them, and the flesh of all freemen as well as slaves, and of small and of great." ¹⁹ And I perceived the wild beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, gathered to do battle with Him Who is sitting on the horse and with His army." ²⁰ And the wild beast is arrested, and with it the false prophet who does the signs in its sight, by which he deceives those getting the emblem of the wild beast, and those worshiping its image.
