¹ Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said: ² Is it to El that a master is profitable? Rather the intelligent one is profitable to himself. ³ Is it delight to Him Who Suffices that you should be righteous? And should it be His gain that your ways become flawless? ⁴ Is it because of your pious fear that He is correcting you, That He is entering into judgment with you? ⁵ Is it not because your evil is great, And there is no end to your depravities? ⁶ For you have taken pledge from your brothers gratuitously, And you have stripped the garments of the naked. ⁷ No water have you given the faint to drink, And from the hungry have you withheld bread. ⁸ The man of the arm of power, he has the land, And he of repute is dwelling in it. ⁹ Widows you have sent away empty, And the arms of orphans you have crushed. ¹⁰ Therefore, snares are round about you, And sudden alarm fills you with panic;" ¹¹ Light has become darkness so you cannot see, And a concourse of water is covering you. ¹² Is not Eloah in the loftiness of the heavens? See the topmost stars, how high they are. ¹³ Yet you say, What does El know? Can He judge through murkiness? ¹⁴ Thick clouds are a concealment for Him, so that He cannot see, And He walks about the circle of the heavens. ¹⁵ Are you keeping the path of the eon of old That the men of lawlessness tread, ¹⁶ Who were arrested when not yet their time, When a stream was poured over their foundation, ¹⁷ Who were saying to El, Withdraw from us, And, What can He Who Suffices effect for us? ¹⁸ Yet He Himself had filled their houses with good; (Still the counsel of the wicked is far from me.) ¹⁹ The righteous see it and rejoice, And the innocent one derides them, saying. ²⁰ Assuredly whoever rose against us is suppressed, And fire has devoured their surplus. ²¹ Be careful, I pray, toward Him, and fare well, By these means good shall come to you. ²² Take hold, I pray, to the law from His mouth, And place His sayings in your heart. ²³ If you return unto Him Who Suffices and you submit, If you put iniquity far from your ten. ²⁴ And set aside your gold ore upon the soil, And wealth of Ophir among the rocks of the watercourses, ²⁵ Then He Who Suffices will become your gold ore And refined silver for you. ²⁶ For then you shall find pleasure for yourself in Him Who Suffices, And you shall lift your face to Eloah. ²⁷ You shall entreat Him, and He shall hear you, And you shall pay your vows. ²⁸ When you prescribe a matter, it shall be confirmed to you, And light will brighten your ways. ²⁹ When they abase, then you may claim pride, For He shall save the downcast of eyes. ³⁰ He shall give escape to the innocent man, And you shall escape by the purity of your palms.

⁵ And seeing is Yahweh Elohim that much is the evil of humanity in the earth, and every form of the devices of its heart is but evil all its days.

¹¹ And being ruined is the earth before the Elohim, and being filled is the earth with wrong. ¹² And seeing is Yahweh Elohim the earth, and behold! Ruined is it, for ruining is all flesh its way on the earth. ¹³ And saying is the Elohim to Noah, "The era of the end of all human flesh is come before Me, for full is the earth with wrong because of their presence. Now behold Me ruining them with the earth.

And covered are all the lofty mountains which are under the entire heavens. ²⁰ Fifteen cubits above has the water the mastery, and covered are all the mountains. ²¹ And expiring is all flesh moving on the earth, of flyer, and of beast, and of living animal, and of every roaming animal roaming on the earth, and every human. ²² Everyone which has the breath of the spirit of the living in his nostrils, of all that were in the drained area, dies. ²³ And wiped off is every risen thing which was on the surface of all the ground, from human to beast, from moving animal to the flyer of the heavens. And being wiped are they from the earth. Yea, only Noah is remaining, and what is with him in the ark. ²⁴ And lofty are the waters on the earth a hundred and fifty days.

Perhaps will be found there ten.And saying is He, "Not ruin it will I, for the sake of the ten.

²⁴ And Yahweh rains on Sodom and on Gomorrah sulphur and fire from Yahweh, from the heavens.

²¹ As for the sojourner, you shall not tyrannize nor oppress him, for you came to be sojourners in the land of Egypt. ²² Any widow or orphan you shall not humiliate. ²³ If you humiliate, yea humiliate him, in case he should cry, yea cry to Me, I shall hear, yea hear his cry, ²⁴ and My anger will grow hot, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives will become widows and your sons orphans.

²⁶ If you take in pledge, yea in pledge the raiment of your associate, previous to sunset you shall restore it to him,

¹ Now, Israel, hearken to the statutes and to the judgments that I am teaching you today, to obey them, that you may live and may enter and tenant the land that Yahweh Elohim of your fathers is giving to you. ² You shall neither add to the word that I am enjoining on you, nor shall you subtract from it, but observe the instructions of Yahweh your Elohim that I am enjoining on you.

⁶ These words which I am instructing you today will come to be in your heart. ⁷ Repeat them to your sons, and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down and when you arise. ⁸ Tie them for a sign on your hand, and they will come to be for the brow bands between your eyes;" ⁹ Write them on the jambs of your house and on your gates.

¹³ to observe the instructions of Yahweh your Elohim and His statutes that I am enjoining on you today for your good?

⁷ In case there should be among you a needy person, one of your brothers within one of your gates in your land that Yahweh your Elohim is giving to you, you shall neither make your heart rigid nor shut your hand from your needy brother. ⁸ Rather you shall open, yea open your hand to him and let him give security, yea security sufficient for his lack that is lacking to him. ⁹ Guard yourself lest there should be in your heart the decadent word, saying:The seventh year is near, the year of the release, so that your eye is evil toward your needy brother, and you give him nothing. Then he may call out to Yahweh concerning you, and it will be held as a sin against you. ¹⁰ You shall give, yea give to him, and your heart shall not feel bad at your giving to him. For owing to this matter Yahweh your Elohim shall bless you in all your work and in every undertaking of your hand. ¹¹ Since the needy shall not leave off from being within the land, therefore I am instructing you, saying:You shall open, yea open your hand to your brother, to your humble and to your needy in your land.

⁶ No one shall take both millstones or just the rider in pledge, for he would be taking the soul in pledge.

¹⁰ In case you should lend your associate a loan of anything, you shall not enter his house to secure his pawn. ¹¹ You shall stand outside, and the man to whom you are lending shall bring forth the pawn to you outside. ¹² And should he be a humble man, you shall not lie down in his pawn of garment. ¹³ You shall restore, yea restore to him the pawn when the sun sets, that he may lie down in his restored garment, and he will bless you, and it shall become for you an act of righteousness before Yahweh your Elohim. ¹⁴ You shall not extort from a humble and needy hireling, whether from your brothers or from your sojourner who is in your land, within your gates. ¹⁵ On his day you shall give him his hire, and the sun shall not set on it ( for he is humble, and to it he is lifting his soul) that he may not call against you to Yahweh, and it would become a sin on your part. ¹⁶ Fathers shall not be put to death on account of their sons' sins, nor shall sons be put to death on account of their fathers' sins. Each man shall be put to death for his own sin. ¹⁷ You shall not turn aside the judgment of the sojourner or orphan; and you shall not take the garment of a widow as a pledge. ¹⁸ Remember that you had become a servant in Egypt, and Yahweh your Elohim ransomed you from there; therefore I am instructing you to obey this word.

¹⁹ Cursed be the one turning aside the judgment of the sojourner, the orphan or the widow. Then all the people will say:Amen!"

¹³ `Rise, sanctify the people, and you have said, Sanctify yourselves for to-morrow; for thus said Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, A devoted thing [is] in your midst, O Israel, you are not able to stand before your enemies till your turning aside of the devoted thing out of your midst;" ¹⁴ and you have been brought near in the morning by your tribes, and it has been, the tribe which Yahweh does capture does draw near by families, and the family which Yahweh does capture does draw near by households, and the household which Yahweh does capture does draw near by men;" ¹⁵ and it has been, he who is captured with the devoted thing is burnt with fire, he and all that he has, because he has transgressed the covenant of Yahweh, and because he has done folly in Israel.. ¹⁶ And Joshua rises early in the morning, and brings Israel near by its tribes, and the tribe of Judah is captured;"

⁹ `And you, Solomon, my son, know the Elohim of your father, and serve Him with a perfect heart, and with a willing mind, for all hearts is Yahweh seeking, and every imagination of the thoughts He is understanding; if you do seek Him, He is found of you, and if you do forsake Him, He casts you off for ever.

¹⁷ `And I have known, my Elohim, that You are trying the heart, and uprightness do desire; I, in the uprightness of my heart, have willingly offered all these:and now, Your people who are found here I have seen with joy to offer willingly to You.

¹⁹ In six distresses He shall rescue you, And in seven, evil shall not touch you. ²⁰ In famine, He will ransom you from death, And in battle from the hands of the sword. ²¹ From scourge of tongue shall you be hidden, And you shall not fear devastation when it comes. ²² Devastation and starvation shall you ridicule, And you shall certainly not fear the wild animal of the earth. ²³ For you will have a covenant with the stones of the field, And the wild animal of the field will be at peace with you. ²⁴ You will know that your tent lies in peace, And you will check over your homestead and shall not miss anything. ²⁵ You will know also that your seed will be abundant, And your offspring like the herbage of the earth. ²⁶ You shall come to the tomb in mature age, Like a shock of grain that ascends in its season. ²⁷ Behold this, we have investigated it; it is so; Do hear it; and you, get to know it for yourself.

⁴ For the arrows of Him Who Suffices are in me; Their venom is what my spirit has been drinking; Frightenings from Eloah are arrayed against me.

¹² Am I the sea or the monster That You should place a guard over me?

³ Does El distort judgment, And should He Who Suffices distort justice? ⁴ If your sons sin against Him, Then He shall cast them out into the grip of their transgression. ⁵ Yet if you yourself seek early for El, And to Him Who Suffices you supplicate, ⁶ If you are purged and upright, Even now He would rouse Himself over you, And He would bring peace to your righteous homestead.

¹⁹ As for vigor, behold the Resolute One, And as for judgment, who can issue an appointment to Him?

²³ If a scourge brings death suddenly, He derides the trial of the innocent.

³² For He is not a man like me that I should assert to Him:Let us come together for judgment.

⁶ Then He would tell you obscured secrets of wisdom, For reality has double sides; Hence know this:that Eloah is granting you oblivion of some of your depravity.

⁸ These are loftier than the heavens; what can you contrive? Deeper than the unseen; what can you know?

¹³ If you yourself prepare your heart, And you spread out your palms to Him, ¹⁴ If lawlessness is in your hand, put it far away, And do not allow iniquity to tabernacle in your tents,

⁶ The tents of devastators are at ease, And for those disturbing El there is serenity, For him who brings along an eloah in his hand.

³ Indeed, it is on one like this that You focus Your eyes, And You bring me into judgment before You.

⁵ For your depravity trains your mouth, And you choose the tongue of the crafty. ⁶ Your own mouth condemns you, not I, And your lips answer against you.

³⁰ He shall not be taken away from darkness; The blaze shall dry up his young shoot, And his bud shall be taken away by the wind. ³¹ No one may rely upon such futility; He shall be led astray, For futility shall become his remuneration. ³² When not yet its day, his palm tree shall be snipped off, And its fronds shall not be flourishing.

¹⁸ They shall thrust him from light into darkness, And they shall chase him from the habitance.

⁶ Know indeed that Eloah Himself has overturned me, And He has entrapped me with His weir.

⁶ If you sin, what effect do you have on Him, And if your transgressions are many, what do you do to Him? ⁷ If you are righteous, what do you give to Him? Or what does He take from your hand? ⁸ Your wickedness affects a man like yourself, And your righteousness a son of humanity.

³⁴ Can you raise up your voice to the thick clouds That the accumulation of water may cover you?

⁷ It came to pass after Yahweh had spoken these words to Job that Yahweh said to Eliphaz the Temanite:My anger is hot against you and your two associates because you did not speak concerning Me what is rightly so as My servant Job has done. ⁸ Now take for yourselves seven bullocks and seven rams. Go to my servant Job, and offer up an ascent offering on behalf of yourselves. And Job, my servant, he shall pray for you. For then I shall lift up his face by not inflicting on you any disgrace. For you did not speak concerning Me what is rightly so as My servant Job has done.

¹ Happy is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Who neither stands in the way of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of mockers.

⁶ Many are saying, Shall anyone show us good? Lift up the light of Your countenance over us, O Yahweh.

³ When I see Your heavens, the works of Your fingers, The moon and stars which You have established, ⁴ What is a mortal that You are mindful of him, Or a son of mankind that You are visiting him?

² I will rejoice and be glad in You; I will make melody to Your Name, O Supreme. ³ When my enemies are reversed backward, They shall stumble and perish from Your presence,

¹¹ He says in his heart, El has forgotten; He has concealed His face; He will not see at all, permanently.

¹⁵ Break the arm of the wicked and evil one; May You inquire into his wickedness until You find no more.

⁶ Let Him rain coals of fire and sulfur on the wicked, And let a simoon wind be the assigned portion of their cup.

¹⁴ From such men by Your hand, O Yahweh, From such men of transience; Their portion is in this life, And You fill their belly with what You have stored up; They are satisfied with sons, And they leave their surplus to their descendants."

² O Yahweh, my Crag and my Fastness and my Deliverance! My El, my Rock! I take refuge in Him, My Shield and the Horn of my salvation, my Impregnable Retreat!"

²⁰ Yahweh requited me according to my righteousness; According to the purity of my hands He recompensed me.

¹² Who can detect inadvertent errors? From those concealed to me, hold me innocent."

⁴ May He give to you according to your heart, And all your counsel, may He fulfill."

⁴ The innocent of palms and pure of heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to mere idols, And has not sworn by what is deceitful."

¹⁰ The sheltered lions, they are destitute, and they famish, But those seeking after Yahweh shall not lack any good."

⁴ Find pleasure in Yahweh, And He shall give you the requests of your heart."

¹⁷ For the arms of the wicked, they shall be broken, Yet Yahweh is supporting the righteous."

¹² For evils have enveloped about me until there is no numbering; My depravities have overtaken me so that I am not able to see. They are more plentiful than the hairs of my head, And my heart, it has forsaken me."

⁷ Abyss to abyss is calling in the sound of Your cataracts; All Your breakers and Your billows, they pass over me."

⁹ Daughters of kings are among Your precious ones; The consort is stationed at Your right hand with certified gold of Ophir.

¹¹ Mount Zion shall rejoice, The daughters of Judah shall exult, On account of Your judgments, O Yahweh."

¹⁴ Sacrifice to Elohim acclamation, And pay to the Supreme your vows." ¹⁵ And call upon Me in the day of distress; I shall liberate you, and you shall glorify Me."

⁶ Then the righteous shall see and fear, And they shall ridicule him and say:"

²³ And You, O Elohim, You shall bring them down to the well of ruin, These mortals of bloodshed and deceit, Who shall not live half their days; As for me, I am trusting in You. {Permanent{ {Concerning the Mute Dove Afar{ "

¹² O Elohim, I am under vows to You; I shall pay acclamation offerings to You."

¹⁰ The righteous one shall rejoice when he perceives the vengeance; He shall bathe his footsteps in the blood of the wicked one.

⁷ Behold, they are uttering growls with their mouth; Swords are on their lips, Saying, Who is hearing?

⁵ They are encouraging themselves in an evil matter; They are recounting plans to bury traps; They say, Who shall see us?

¹³ I shall come to Your House with ascent offerings. I shall pay my vows to You, ¹⁴ Concerning which my lips opened wide, And my mouth spoke in my distress."

¹⁷ To Him I call with my mouth, And He is exalted with my tongue." ¹⁸ If I had regarded lawlessness in my heart, Yahweh would not hear." ¹⁹ But Elohim surely hears And attends to the sound of my prayer. ²⁰ Blessed be Elohim, Who neither takes away my prayer Nor withholds His benignity from me. {Permanent, With Accompaniments{ "

¹ {Davidic{ Save me, O Elohim, for waters come unto my soul!" ² I sink in the mire of a swamp, and there is no standing ground. I come into deep waters, and the surge engulfs me."

¹¹ And they say, How can El know? And is there knowledge in the Supreme?

⁶ At Your rebuke, O Elohim of Jacob, Stupefied are both rider and horse."

¹⁶ It is burned with fire, obliterated; At the rebuke of Your countenance they are perishing."

¹¹ For Sun and Shield is Yahweh Elohim; Grace and glory does Yahweh bestow; He does not withhold good from those walking with integrity.

⁴ Rejoice the soul of Your servant, For to You, O Yahweh, am I lifting up my soul."

¹⁷ Let the pleasantness of Yahweh our Elohim be over us; Do establish the work of our hands for us; Yea, the work of our hands, do establish it."

¹⁴ Because he is attached to Me, I shall deliver him; I shall make him impregnable, for he knows My Name." ¹⁵ He shall call on Me, and I shall answer him; I am with him in distress; I shall liberate him and glorify him."

⁶ They kill the widow and the sojourner, And they murder the orphans." ⁷ They say, Yah is not seeing, And the Elohim of Jacob is not understanding." ⁸ Understand, you irrational ones among the people! And you stupid ones, when shall you act intelligently? ⁹ The One Who planted the ear, shall He not hear? Or the One Who formed the eye, shall He not look?

² Cloud and murkiness are around Him; Righteousness and right judgment are the basis of His throne.

⁸ Zion hears and is rejoicing, And the daughters of Judah are exulting On account of Your right judgments, O Yahweh."

¹¹ Light radiates on the righteous, And rejoicing on the upright of heart."

²⁴ I am saying, O my El, do not take me away at the half of my days! Your years continue through generation after generations."

⁴² The upright see it, and they rejoice, Yet all iniquity, it will shut its mouth."

⁴ In the darkness he radiates as a light for the upright ones; He is gracious, compassionate and righteous."

⁹ He disperses; he gives to the needy; His righteousness is standing into the future; His horn shall be exalted in glory.

³ Indeed our Elohim is in the heavens; All that He desires, He does."

¹⁶ The heavens are Yahweh's heavens, Yet He has given the earth to the sons of humanity."

¹ I love Him because Yahweh has heard My voice, my supplications;"

¹⁴ I shall pay my vows to Yahweh Straight in front of all His people.

³ Indeed, they do not contrive iniquity; In His ways they walk." ⁴ You Yourself have enjoined that Your precepts Are to be kept very faithfully. ⁵ O that my ways should be established To keep Your statutes. ⁶ Then I should not be ashamed When I look to all Your instructions.

¹¹ In my heart have I stored up Your promise, That I may not sin against You."

⁵⁹ I have taken account of my ways; So let me turn back my feet to Your testimonies.

⁴ Then the waters, they would have engulfed us, The torrent, it would have passed over our soul;" ⁵ Then there would have passed over our soul The rampaging waters.

³ If You should keep account of depravities, O Yah, O Yahweh, who should stand? ⁴ For with You is pardon That You may be devoutly feared.

⁶ Though Yahweh is exalted, yet He discerns the lowly, And He knows the haughty one from afar."

¹¹ If I said, Surely darkness, it snuffed me up, And night is belted about me, ¹² Even darkness, it is not darkening to You, And the night, as the day, is giving light; Darkness is as light."

² O do not enter into judgment with Your servant, For no living one at all can be righteous before You."

⁸ Let me hear of Your benignity in each morning, For I trust in You; Let me know that way I should go, For I lift up my soul to You."

¹⁰ Not in the horse's mastery is He delighting; Not in the legs of a man is He placing approval; ¹¹ Yahweh is placing approval in those fearing Him, In those waiting for His benignity."

²⁷ When alarm comes upon you like a tumult, And calamity, it arrives upon you like a sweeping whirlwind, When distress and constraint come upon you."

¹ My son, if you take my words And store up my instructions within you, ² Attending with your ear to wisdom, And you stretch out your heart to comprehension, ³ Indeed if you call out for understanding, And you lift up your voice for comprehension, ⁴ If you seek it as for silver And search for it as for buried treasures, ⁵ Then you shall understand the fear of Yahweh, And you shall find the knowledge of God." ⁶ For Yahweh Himself gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and comprehension; ⁷ He stores up sagacity for the upright, A shield for those walking with integrity, ⁸ So as to preserve the paths of judgment, And so He may guard the way of His benign ones." ⁹ Then you shall understand righteousness and right judgment, And you shall be upright in every good route;"

¹³ Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains hold of comprehension, ¹⁴ For her merchandise is better than merchandise of silver, And her income than fine gold." ¹⁵ She is more precious than rubies, So that all your desires are not equal to her." ¹⁶ Length of days are in her right hand, And in her left hand are riches and glory." ¹⁷ Her ways are ways of pleasantness, And all her tracks are peace." ¹⁸ She is a tree of life to those holding fast to her, And those upholding her will be happy."

²⁵ You shall certainly not fear sudden alarm Or the ruination of the wicked that is coming; ²⁶ For Yahweh Himself shall be your confidence, And He will keep your foot from seizure."

⁴ He directed me and said to me:May your heart uphold my word; Keep my instruction and live;

⁷ The principal thing is wisdom; acquire wisdom, And with all your acquisition, acquire understanding;" ⁸ Highly regard her, and she shall raise you up; She shall bring you glory as you embrace her;" ⁹ She shall bestow a wreath of grace on your head; A crown of beauty shall she award to you.

¹⁸ While the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn's brightness, Advancing and becoming resplendent until the day is established, ¹⁹ The way of the wicked is like gloom; They do not know at what they stumble.

²¹ Let them not steal away from before your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart;

¹² If you are wise, you are wise to your gain, And if you mock, you shall bear the results by yourself alone."

¹ Deceitful scales are an abhorrence to Yahweh, Yet an equitable standard weight is acceptable to Him."

¹⁰ In the welfare of the righteous the town is glad, And in the destruction of the wicked there is jubilation."

²⁰ An abhorrence to Yahweh are those who are perverse of heart, Yet His benevolence is with those flawless of way."

²⁴ There is one who disperses yet is enhanced more, And another who keeps back more than what is upright yet ends only with a lack." ²⁵ The soul who gives a blessing is conferred with richness, And he who waters, he himself shall be watered also."

²² False lips are an abhorrence to Yahweh, Yet those who hold to truth enjoy His benevolence."

⁸ The sacrifice of the wicked is an abhorrence to Yahweh, Yet the prayer of the upright is acceptable to Him."

¹⁷ He who is gracious to a poor man obligates Yahweh, And He shall pay his requital to him."

²³ A man's pride abases him, Yet he who is lowly of spirit shall take firm hold of glory."

² Do not be rash with your mouth, And your heart must not hasten to bring forth speech before the One, Elohim; For the One, Elohim, is in the heavens, And you are on the earth; Therefore, let your words become few."

⁴ When you vow a vow to Elohim, do not delay to pay it, For there is no delight in those who are stupid; That which you vow, pay."

¹¹ Wisdom is good with an allotment And an advantage to those seeing the sun. ¹² For in the shadow of wisdom it is as in the shadow of silver, And the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom keeps alive those possessing it."

¹⁷ Do not be abundantly wicked, and do not be frivolous; Why should you die when it is not your time?

¹⁴ For the One, Elohim, shall bring every deed into judgment concerning all that is obscured, Whether good or whether evil."

³ Like an apricot tree among the trees of the wildwood, So is my darling among the sons; In his shadow I covet that I may sit, And his fruit is sweet to my palate."

¹⁵ And when you spread your palms to Me, I will obscure My eyes from you. Moreover, in case you are increasing your prayers, there is no hearing by Me. Your hands are full of blood. Amidst your fingers extrudes lawlessness."

¹⁷ Leave off the evil! Learn to be good! Inquire for judgment! Make happy the wronged! Judge the orphan! Contend for the widow!

²³ Your chiefs are stubborn, and partners of thieves. Everyone loves a bribe, and pursues payments. The orphan they are not judging. And the contention of the widow is not coming to them."

³ the chief of fifty, and the reputable, and the counselor and the wise, the artificers and the one who understands charm whistling."

¹⁴ Yahweh is entering into judgment, with the elders of His people and its chiefs, "And you it is who consume My vineyard, and the pillage of the humble is in your houses." ¹⁵ What is it to you that you are crushing My people, and the faces of the humble are grinding?Averring is my Lord, Yahweh of hosts."

²² and beneath to the earth it will look, then behold! Distress and darkness, faintness of constraint, and the gloom of expulsion!"

¹⁵ The elder and reputable, he is the head, and a prophet directing with falsehood, he is the tail."

² to turn the poor aside from adjudication, and to pillage in judgment the humble of My people, for widows to become their loot, and orphans are they plundering."

¹² More precious am I making the remaining mortal than glittering gold. And a human than certified African gold.

²² And Yahweh struck Egypt with a great stroke, yet, heal, yea He will heal them. And they return unto Yahweh. And He is entreated for them and heals them."

⁵ Or will he hold fast in My strength, making repayment to Me? Will he make repayment to Me?

¹⁵ Woe to those digging deep, to conceal counsel from Yahweh, and it comes that their doings are in darkness. And saying are they, `Who sees us?' And `Who knows us?'"

¹¹ Withdraw from the way, turn aside from the path. Eradicate from our face the Holy One of Israel."

²¹ and your ears shall hear a word from behind you saying, "This is the way, go in it,in case you shall go right, and in case you shall go left."

⁶ Return to Him Who deepens counsel, you stubborn sons of Israel!"

⁶ It comes to be the faithfulness of your eras. The safeguard of salvation is wisdom and knowledge. The fear of Yahweh, it is its treasure."

¹⁵ He who goes in righteousness, and speaks equities, who rejects the gain of extortions, who shakes his palms from upholding a bribe, who contracts his ear from hearkening to blood plans, and restrains his eyes from seeing evil--"

¹⁰ You must not fear, for I am with you, and you must not take heed for yourself, for I am your Elohim. I make you resolute; indeed, I help you. Indeed, I uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.'"

⁶ Inquire for Yahweh while He is to be found; call Him while He comes to be near. ⁷ Forsake shall the wicked one his way, and the lawless man his devices, and he shall return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him, and to our Elohim, for he will increasingly pardon your sins."

¹⁵ For thus says Yahweh, high and lifted up, who tabernacles the future, and holy is His name:"In the high and holy place am I tabernacling, and with the crushed and lowly spirit, to preserve alive the spirit of the lowly, and to preserve alive the heart of the crushed."

¹⁹ Creator of the produce of the lips, welfare, welfare to the far and to the near,says Yahweh, "and I heal him." ²⁰ Yet the wicked are as the disgorging sea, for quiet it cannot be, and disgorging are its waters foulness and mud." ²¹ No peace,says Yahweh, my Elohim, "is there for the wicked."

⁷ Is it not to share your bread with the famishing, and the humble, brought down, shall you bring home? In case you are seeing the naked, then you cover him with a cloak? And from your own flesh you are not obscuring yourself?

⁹ Then you will call, and Yahweh will answer, you will implore, and He will say, "Behold Me!You should take away from your midst the slider bar, and the pointing of the finger and speaking lawlessness, ¹⁰ and promote for the famishing the bread for your soul, and the humbled soul shall you satisfy. Then radiant will be your light in the darkness, and your gloom as the noon."

¹² And built by you shall be places deserted for the eon. The foundations of generation after generation shall you raise. And you shall be called, "Diker of the breach, restorer of tracks you ceased to use."

¹⁴ then you shall enjoy deliciousness in Yahweh, and I will cause you to ride on the fane heights of the land, and I will feed you from the allotment of Jacob, your forefather,for the mouth of Yahweh speaks."

¹ Thus says Yahweh, "The heavens are My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Where is this house which you are building for Me? And where is this place of My rest? ² Yet all these were made by My hand, and all these are coming to be Mine,averring is Yahweh. "Yet to this one will I look:to the humble and smitten spirit, and he who trembles at My word."

¹ Go to and fro in streets of Jerusalem, And see, I pray you, and know, And seek in her broad places, if you find a man, If there be one doing judgment, seeking stedfastness--Then am I propitious to her."

² You have planted them, yea, they have taken root, They go on, yea, they have made fruit, Near [are] You in their mouth, And far off from their reins."

¹⁶ Your words have been found, and I eat them, And Your word is to me for a joy, And for the rejoicing of my heart, For Your name is called on me, O Yahweh, Elohim of Hosts."

²⁴ Is any one hidden in secret places, And I see him not? an affirmation of Yahweh, Do not I fill the heavens and the earth? An affirmation of Yahweh."

⁴ Again do I build you, And you have been built, O virgin of Israel, Again you put on your tabrets, And have gone out in the chorus of the playful."

² He leads me and makes me walk in darkness and not light;

³⁷ Who is this who speaks and it comes about if Yahweh does not determine it?

⁵⁴ Waters float over my head; I say:I am severed;

¹² And He said unto me, `Have you seen, son of man, that which elders of the house of Israel are doing in darkness, each in the inner chambers of his imagery, for they are saying, Yahweh is not seeing us, Yahweh has forsaken the land?'"

⁹ And He said unto me, `The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah [is] very very great, and the land is full of blood, and the city has been full of perverseness, for they have said:Yahweh has forsaken the land, and Yahweh is not seeing."

⁷ A man--he does not oppress, His pledge to the debtor he does return, Plunder he does not take away, His bread to the hungry he does give, And the naked does cover with a garment,

¹² The afflicted and needy he has oppressed, Plunder he has taken violently away, A pledge he does not return, And unto the idols he has lifted up his eyes, Abomination he has done!"

¹⁶ A man--he has not oppressed, A pledge he has not bound, And plunder he has not taken away, His bread to the hungry he has given, And the naked he covered with a garment,

²⁶ Thus said the Lord Yahweh:Turn aside the mitre, and bear away the crown, This--not this--the low make high, And the high make low." ²⁷ An overturn, overturn, overturn, I make it, Also this has not been till the coming of Him, Whose [is] the judgment, and I have given it."

⁷ Father and mother made light of in you, To a sojourner they dealt oppressively in your midst, Fatherless and widow they oppressed in you."

²² Therefore, thus said the Lord Yahweh:Lo, I [am] against Pharaoh, king of Egypt, And I have broken his arms, The strong one and the broken one, And have caused the sword to fall out of his hand,

¹ Return, O Israel, unto Yahweh, your Elohim, for you stumble in your depravity." ² Take words with you and return to Yahweh, your Elohim; say to Him:Wilt You bear away all the depravity? Take the good, and we will repay with the fruit of our lips."

² A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of cloud and murkiness, as the dawn spread on the mountains. A people numerous and staunch:Like it, it has not occurred from the eon, and after it, it shall not be again, unto years of generation after generation." ³ Before it a fire devours, and behind it is a blaze flaming. As a luxuriant garden is the land before it, yet behind it is a wilderness desolation. And, moreover, a deliverance comes not to it."

⁸ On pledged garments are they stretching out beside every altar, and the wine of those fined are they drinking in the house of their elohim."

³ And You are flinging me into the shadowy depth, into the heart of the seas, and the stream is surrounding me; all Your breakers and Your billows pass over me."

⁹ Yet let me, with the voice of praise and acclamation, sacrifice to You; let me repay to You that which I vowed. Salvation is of Yahweh."

³ Both palms are set upon the evil to do it thoroughly:The chief is asking, also the judge, for a repayment, and the great one, he is speaking the woe of his soul. And they are entwining it."

¹² It comes at that season I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and I visit evil on the mortals who are curdled on their lees, those saying in their heart, Yahweh will not do good, nor will He do evil."

³ Now you shall say to them, Thus says Yahweh of hosts:Return to Me, (averring is Yahweh of hosts), and I will return to you, says Yahweh of hosts."

³ And he is saying to me, This is the execration which is faring forth over the surface of the entire land, for every thief, henceforth as death doomed shall be visited with vengeance, and every swearer, henceforth as death doomed shall be visited with vengeance." ⁴ I will bring it forth, (averring is Yahweh of hosts), and it enters into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears in My name falsely, and it lodges in the midst of his house, and it consumes it and its timbers and its stones."

⁹ And now, beseech, I pray, the face of your El, that He may be gracious to us. From your hand has this come; would He lift our faces because of you? says Yahweh of hosts."

¹⁷ You weary Yahweh Elohim with your words. Yet you say, In what way do we weary Him? When you say, All doing evil are good in the eyes of Yahweh, and in them He delights, or, Where is the Elohim of judgment?

⁵ Then I will come near to you for judgment, and become a hastening witness against the enchanters and against the adulterers, and against those who are swearing in My name to falsehood, and against those extorting the hire of the hireling, and those tyrannizing over the widow and taunting the orphan, and turning aside the sojourner, and do not fear Me, says Yahweh of hosts."

¹⁴ You say, It is futility to serve Elohim. And what gain is it that we keep His charge, and that we go somberly in view of Yahweh of hosts?

² Yet the Sun of righteousness shall radiate to you who fear My name, and healing is in its wings. And you shall come forth, and you prance as calves of the stall."

²⁵ You be humoring your plaintiff quickly while you are with him on the way, lest at some time the plaintiff may be giving you up to the judge, and the judge to the deputy, and you should be cast into jail.

²⁹ Now, if your right eye is snaring you, wrench it out and cast it from you, for it is expedient for you that one of your members should perish and not your whole body be cast into Gehenna.

²⁶ And everyone who is hearing these sayings of Mine and not doing them shall be likened to a stupid man who builds his house on sand." ²⁷ And the rain descended, and the rivers came, and the winds blow and they dash against that house, and it falls: and the fall of it was great."

¹² yet the sons of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness. There shall be lamentation and gnashing of teeth."

²⁹ And lo! they cry, saying, "What is it to us and to Thee, Son of God! Didst Thou come here to torment us before the season?

³⁴ And lo! the entire city came out to meet with Jesus, and, perceiving Him, they entreat that He may be proceeding from their boundaries."

³⁵ The good man out of his good treasure is extracting good things; and the wicked man out of his wicked treasure is extracting wicked things.

⁵² Now He said to them, "Therefore every scribe made a disciple in the kingdom of the heavens is like a man, a householder, who is extracting out of his treasure things new and old."

¹⁹ Then the disciples, coming to Jesus privately, said, "Wherefore could we not cast it out? ²⁰ Now He is saying to them, "Because of your scant faith. For verily I am saying to you, If you should have faith as a kernel of mustard, you shall be declaring to this mountain, 'Proceed hence-there!' and it will be proceeding. And nothing will be impossible for you."

²² And all, whatsoever you should be requesting in prayer, believing, you shall be getting."

¹² Yet anyone who shall be exalting himself shall be humbled, and anyone who shall be humbling himself shall be exalted."

³⁷ For even as the days of Noah, thus shall be the presence of the Son of Mankind." ³⁸ For as they were in those days before the deluge, masticating and drinking and marrying and taking in marriage until the day on which Noah entered into the ark, ³⁹ and did not know till the deluge came and takes them all away, thus shall be the presence of the Son of Mankind."

⁴² For I hunger and you do not give Me to eat; I thirst and you do not give Me drink;

⁵² He pulls down potentates from thrones, And exalts the humble."

¹⁹ Now Miriam preserved all these declarations, parleying them in her heart."

⁵¹ And He descended with them and came into Nazareth, and was subject to them. And His mother carefully kept all these declarations, parleying them in her own heart."

² Now nothing is covered up which shall not be revealed, and hidden which shall not be known, ³ because whatever you say in the darkness shall be heard in the light, and what you speak in the ear in the storerooms shall be heralded on the housetops."

¹ Now there were some present, on the same occasion, reporting to Him concerning the Galileans whose blood Pilate mixes with their sacrifices." ² And, answering, Jesus said to them, "Are you supposing that these Galileans came to be sinners beyond all the Galileans, seeing that they have suffered such things? ³ No, I am saying to you. But if you should not be repenting, you all shall likewise be perishing." ⁴ Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam falls and kills them, are you supposing that they came to be debtors beyond all the men dwelling in Jerusalem? ⁵ No, I am saying to you. But if ever you should not be repenting, all of you similarly shall be perishing."

¹¹ For everyone exalting himself shall be humbled, and humbling himself shall be exalted."

¹⁰ Thus, you also, whenever you should be doing all these things that are prescribed you, be saying that 'Useless slaves are we. What we ought to do we have done.'"

²⁶ And according as it occurred in the days of Noah, thus will it be in the days of the Son of Mankind also." ²⁷ They ate, they drank, they married, they took out in marriage, until the day on which Noah entered into the ark, and the deluge came and destroys them all."

²⁹ Yet on the day in which Lot came out from Sodom, fire and sulphur rains from heaven and destroys them all." ³⁰ In accord with these will it be on the day in which the Son of Mankind is unveiled.

³ Now there was a widow in that city, and she came to him, saying, 'Avenge me from my plaintiff.'" ⁴ And for a time he would not. Yet, after this, he said in himself, 'Even if I am not fearing God nor respecting man, ⁵ surely, because of the weariness this widow is affording me, I shall be avenging her, lest she, coming, may belabor me into a consummation.'"

⁹ Now He said, also, to some who have confidence in themselves that they are just, and are scorning the rest, this parable:" ¹⁰ Two men went up into the sanctuary to pray, the one a Pharisee, and the other a tribute collector." ¹¹ The Pharisee, standing, prayed this to himself: 'God, I am thanking you that I am not even as the rest of men, rapacious, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tribute collector." ¹² I am fasting twice of a sabbath. I am taking tithes from all whatever I am acquiring.' ¹³ Now the tribute collector, standing afar off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his chest, saying, 'God, make a propitiatory shelter for me, the sinner!' " ¹⁴ I am saying to you, this man descended to his home justified, rather than that one, for everyone who is exalting himself shall be humbled, yet he who is humbling himself shall be exalted."

¹² Again, then, Jesus speaks to them, saying, "I am the Light of the world. He who is following Me should under no circumstances be walking in darkness, but will be having the light of life."

³ Now it is eonian life that they may know Thee, the only true God, and Him Whom Thou dost commission, Jesus Christ."

³⁶ Of the word He dispatches to the sons of Israel, bringing the evangel of peace through Jesus Christ (He is Lord of all),

¹⁷ although He leaves Himself not without the testimony of good acts, giving showers from heaven and fruitbearing seasons, filling our hearts with nourishment and gladness."

¹⁶ After these things I will turn back, 'And I will rebuild the tabernacle of David which has fallen... And its overturned structure will I rebuild, And I will re-erect it... "

¹⁵ Yet answering, the wicked spirit said to them, "Jesus, indeed, I know, and in Paul am I versed, yet who are you? ¹⁶ And leaping on them, the man in whom the wicked spirit was, getting the mastery of both, is too strong for them, so that, naked and wounded, they are escaping out of that house."

¹⁶ In this, I am exerting myself also, to have a conscience which is no stumbling block toward God and men, continually."

²⁰ but first to those in Damascus, besides in Jerusalem also, besides to the entire province of Judea, and to the nations, I reported that they are to be repenting and turning back to God, engaging acts worthy of repentance."

²⁴ saying,'Fear not, Paul! Before Caesar you must stand. And lo! graciously has God granted you all those who are sailing with you.'"

²⁸ And according as they do not test God, to have Him in recognition, God gives them over to a disqualified mind, to do that which is not befitting,

²² For I am gratified with the law of God as to the man within,

³¹ What then, shall we declare to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

²⁰ But "If your enemy should be hungering, give him the morsel; if he should be thirsting, give him to drink, for in doing this you will be heaping embers of fire on his head."

⁶ for the God Who says that, out of darkness light shall be shining, is He Who shines in our hearts, with a view to the illumination of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

²⁰ For Christ, then, are we ambassadors, as of God entreating through us. We are beseeching for Christ's sake, "Be conciliated to God!"

¹⁰ as sorrowing, yet ever rejoicing, as poor, yet enriching many, as having nothing, and retaining all."

¹ Having, then, these promises, beloved, we should be cleansing ourselves from every pollution of flesh and spirit, completing holiness in the fear of God."

⁷ Be not decived, God is not to be sneered at, for whatsoever a man may be sowing, this shall he be reaping also, ⁸ for he who is sowing for his own flesh, from the flesh shall be reaping corruption, yet he who is sowing for the spirit, from the spirit shall be reaping life eonian."

¹⁴ For He is our Peace, Who makes both one, and razes the central wall of the barrier" ¹⁵ (the enmity in His flesh), nullifying the law of precepts in decrees, that He should be creating the two, in Himself, into one new humanity, making peace;" ¹⁶ and should be reconciling both in one body to God through the cross, killing the enmity in it." ¹⁷ And, coming, He brings the evangel of peace to you, those afar, and peace to those near,

⁷ and the peace of God, that is superior to every frame of mind, shall be garrisoning your hearts and your apprehensions in Christ Jesus."

¹⁸ Now I am collecting all, and am superabounding. I have been filled full, receiving from Epaphroditus the things from you, an odor fragrant, a sacrifice acceptable, well pleasing to God."

⁷ having been rooted and being built up in Him, and being confirmed in the faith according as you were taught, superabounding in it with thanksgiving."

¹ For the rest, then, brethren, we are asking you and entreating in the Lord Jesus, that, according as you accepted from us how you must be walking and pleasing God (according as you are walking also), that you may be superabounding yet more, ² for you are aware what charges we give to you through the Lord Jesus.

³ Now whenever they may be saying "Peace and security,then extermination is standing by them unawares, even as a pang over the pregnant, and they may by no means escape."

⁸ I am intending, then, that men pray in every place, lifting up benign hands, apart from anger and reasoning."

¹⁹ Howbeit, the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: The Lord knew those who are His, and, Let everyone who is naming the name of the Lord withdraw from injustice. "

⁵ Hear, my beloved brethren! Does not God choose the poor in the world, rich in faith and enjoyers of the allotment of the kingdom which He promises to those who are loving Him?

⁶ Yet greater is the grace He is giving. Wherefore He is saying, God "the proud is resisting, yet to the humble He is giving grace."

¹⁵ instead of your saying, "If the Lord should ever be willing, and we shall be living, we also shall be doing this or that."

¹⁵ And the vow of faith will be saving the faltering and the Lord will be rousing him up, and, if he should have done sins, it will be forgiven him." ¹⁶ Then confess sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The operative petition of the just is availing much."

¹⁹ in which, being gone to the spirits in jail also, ²⁰ He heralds to those once stubborn, when the patience of God awaited in the days of Noah while the ark was being constructed, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were brought safely through water,

⁵ Likewise, younger men may be subject to the elder, yet all wear the servile apron of humility with one another, for God "is resisting the proud, yet is giving grace to the humble."

⁵ and spares not the ancient world, but guards Noah, an eighth, a herald of righteousness, bringing a deluge on the world of the irreverent;" ⁶ and condemns the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, reducing them to cinders by an overthrow, having placed them as an example for those about to be irreverent:" ⁷ and rescues the just man, Lot, harried by the behavior of the dissolute in their wantonness"

²⁰ seeing that, if our heart should be censuring us, God is greater than our heart, and He knows all." ²¹ Beloved, if our heart should not be censuring us, we have boldness toward God,

¹⁴ And this is the boldness which we have toward Him, that if we should be requesting anything according to his will, He is hearing us." ¹⁵ And if ever we are aware that He is hearing us, whatever we may be requesting, we are aware that we have the requests which we have requested from Him."

²⁰ Now you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith, praying in holy spirit,

¹⁹ '"Whosoever I may be fond of, I am exposing and disciplining. Be zealous, then, and repent!"

²⁰ Make merry over her, O heaven, and ye saints and apostles and prophets, seeing that God judges by passing your sentence upon her."

¹ After these things I hear as it were the loud voice of a vast throng in heaven, saying, "Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power is of our God, ² for true and just is His judging, for He judges the great prostitute who corrupts the earth with her prostitution, and avenges the blood of His slaves at her hand." ³ And a second time have they declared, "Hallelujah!And her smoke is ascending for the eons of the eons."
