¹ And a Twig shall fare forth from the set slip of Jesse, and a Scion from his roots shall be fruitful." ² And the spirit of Yahweh shall rest on Him:A spirit of wisdom and understanding, a spirit of counsel and mastery, a spirit of knowledge and the fear of Yahweh." ³ And His scent is in the fear of Yahweh. And not by the sight of His eyes will He judge, and not by the hearing of His ears will He correct." ⁴ Yet He will judge with righteousness the poor, and correct with equity for the humble of the land. And He will smite the earth with the club of His mouth, and with the spirit of His lips will He put to death the wicked." ⁵ And it comes that righteousness is the belt of His waist, and faithfulness the band of His loins." ⁶ Then the wolf will sojourn with the he-lamb, and the leopard will recline with the kid. And the calf and the sheltered lion will graze together, and a small lad will lead among them." ⁷ And the young cow and the bear will graze together, and together they will recline their young. And the lion, as the beeve, will eat crushed straw." ⁸ And the sucking will revel over the hole of a cobra, and on the light-shaft of a yellow viper the weanling his hand obtrudes." ⁹ They will not do evil, nor will they ruin, in all My holy mountain, for full is the earth of the knowledge of Yahweh. As water for the sea floor is a covering." ¹⁰ And there comes, in that day, the Root of Jesse, Who will stand for a Banner of the peoples; of Him will the nations inquire, and His rest will come to be glorious." ¹¹ And it comes, in that day, Yahweh will proceed to lift up His hand, to be zealous for the remnant of His people which will remain, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Babylon, and from Pathros, and from Ethiopia, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from Arabia, and from the coastlands of the sea." ¹² And He lifts up a banner for the nations, and gathers the expelled of Israel, and the scattered of Judah is He convening from the four wings of the earth." ¹³ And He will withdraw the jealousy of Ephraim, and the distressers of Judah shall be cut off. Ephraim will not be jealous of Judah, and Judah will not distress Ephraim." ¹⁴ And they will fly on the shoulders of the Philistines, seaward. Together will they plunder the sons of the east. On Edom and Moab will they first send their hand, yet the sons of Ammon will be first to hearken to them." ¹⁵ Then Yahweh will drain the tongue of the sea of Egypt, and wave His hand over the stream with the vehemence of His wind, and smite it into seven watercourses, and one will tread it in sandals" ¹⁶ And there comes to be a highway for the remnant of His people, who will remain from Assyria, and in Egypt, as it came to be for Israel in the day they came up from the land of Egypt."

⁵ From these are parted the coastlanders of the nations among their lands, each man to his tongue, to their families, in their nations. ⁶ And the sons of Ham: Cush and Mizraim and Phut and Canaan. ⁷ And the sons of Cush: Sebah and Havilah and Sabtah and Raamah and Sabtechah. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.

¹⁰ And coming is the beginning of his kingdom to be Babel and Erech and Accad and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

²² The sons of Shem: Elam and Ashur, and Arphaxad and Lud and Aram and Cainan.

² And coming is it in their journey from the east, that they are finding a valley in the land of Shinar, and dwelling there are they.

¹ And coming is it in the days of the reign of Amraphel, king of Shinar, and Arioch, king of Ellasar, and Chedorlaomer, king of Elam, and Tidal, king of nations,

¹⁰ Not withdraw shall the sceptre from Judah, nor a statue-maker's staff from between his feet, till it be that ease shall come to him. And to it shall the expectation of the people be.

¹⁹ Then Yahweh said to Moses: Say to Aaron, Take your rod, and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt, over their streams, over their waterways, over their ponds and over every confluence of their waters that they may become blood. Thus there will come to be blood in all the land of Egypt and in wooden and in stone troughs. ²⁰ Moses and Aaron did so just as Yahweh had instructed; he raised the rod and smote the waters which were in the waterway before the eyes of Pharaoh and before the eyes of his servants. And all the waters which were in the waterway were turned to blood. ²¹ The fish which were in the waterway died, and the waterway stank so that the Egyptians were unable to drink the waters from the waterway. And the blood came to be in all the land of Egypt.

²¹ Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and, by a strong east wind all the night, Yahweh caused the sea to go. Thus He made in the sea a drained area when the waters were split apart.

²⁶ Yahweh said to Moses: Stretch out your hand over the sea that the waters may return on the Egyptians, on their chariots and on their horsemen. ²⁷ So Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea returned before morning to its perennial flow, while the Egyptians were fleeing to meet it. Thus Yahweh shook off the Egyptians, in the midst of the sea, ²⁸ for the waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen, all the army of Pharaoh which had been entering after them into the sea. Not even one of them remained. ²⁹ Yet the sons of Israel, they went on dry ground in the midst of the sea, and the waters were to them a wall on their right and on their left.

⁴⁰ If they will confess their depravity and the depravity of their fathers in their offense (when they had offended Me and, indeed, when they had gone contrary to M. ⁴¹ so that I Myself also went contrary to them and brought them into the land of their enemies), if then their uncircumcised heart should submit, and if then they should accept their depravity, ⁴² then I will remember My covenant with Jacob and also My covenant with Isaac; also My covenant with Abraham shall I remember, and the land shall I remember.

²⁵ Yahweh descended in a cloud and spoke to him. He caused some of the spirit which was on him to divert, and He put it on the seventy men, the elders. And it came to be as the spirit rested on them that they prophesied, yet they did not do so again. ²⁶ Yet two men remained in the camp; the name of the one was Eldad and the name of the second Medad. The spirit also rested on them. Now they had been among those listed but had not gone forth toward the tent; yet they prophesied in the camp.

¹⁷ I see him yet not now, I regard him yet not near. A star will tread forth from Jacob; a scepter will arise from Israel, and he will transfix both edges of Moab, and the scalp of all the sons of tumult.

²⁷ Yahweh will cause you to scatter among the peoples, and you will remain adult males of a small number among the nations where Yahweh shall lead you. ²⁸ And there you will serve other elohim, the work of human hands, of wood and stone which are neither seeing nor hearing, neither eating nor smelling. ²⁹ Yet from there you will seek Yahweh your Elohim and find Him when you inquire for Him with all your heart and with all your soul. ³⁰ In your distress, when all these things find you in the latter days, then you will return to Yahweh your Elohim and hearken to His voice. ³¹ For Yahweh your Elohim is a compassionate El. He shall neither neglect you nor bring ruin on you, nor shall He forget the covenant of your fathers about which He had sworn to them.

³ Then Yahweh your Elohim will turn back your captivity and show compassion to you; He will return and convene you from all the peoples where Yahweh your Elohim will have scattered you. ⁴ If it comes to be that you should be expelled to the end of the heavens, from there Yahweh your Elohim shall convene you, and from there He shall take you. ⁵ Then Yahweh your Elohim will bring you to the land that your fathers tenanted; you will tenant it, and He will bring you good and let you increase more than your fathers. ⁶ Yahweh your Elohim will circumcise your heart and the heart of your seed so as to love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may stay alive.

²⁶ I would say:I might blow them away, I might eradicate their remembrance from mortals,

⁹ Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had supported his hands on him. And the sons of Israel hearkened to him and did just as Yahweh had instructed Moses.

¹⁷ The neighborhood women called a name to him, saying, A son has been born to Naomi! And they called his name Obed. He was the father of Jesse, David's father.

⁷ And Yahweh said unto Samuel, `Look not unto his appearance, and unto the height of his stature, for I have rejected him; for [it is] not as man sees--for man looks at the eyes, and Yahweh looks at the heart..

⁵⁸ and Saul said unto him, `Whose son [are] you, O youth?' and David said, `Son of your servant Jesse, the Beth-Lehemite..

¹⁵ And David reigns over all Israel, and David is doing judgment and righteousness to all his people,

¹⁷ and your maid-servant said, Let, I pray you, the word of my lord the king be for ease; for as a messenger of Elohim so [is] my lord the king, to understand the good and the evil; and Yahweh your Elohim is with you..

² The Spirit of Yahweh has spoken by me, And His word [is] on my tongue. ³ He said--the Elohim of Israel--to me, He spoke--the Rock of Israel:He who is ruling over man [is] righteous, He is ruling in the fear of Elohim. ⁴ And as the light of morning he rises, A morning sun--no clouds! By the shining, by the rain, Tender grass of the earth!"

⁹ and You have given to Your servant an understanding heart, to judge Your people, to discern between good and evil; for who is able to judge this Your great people?.

²⁸ And all Israel hear of the judgment that the king has judged, and fear because of the king, for they have seen that the wisdom of Elohim [is] in his heart, to do judgment.

⁸ O the happiness of your men, O the happiness of your servants--these--who are standing before you continually, who are hearing your wisdom!" ⁹ Yahweh your Elohim is blessed who delighted in you, to put you on the throne of Israel; in Yahweh's loving Israel to the eon He does set you for king, to do judgment and righteousness.

⁹ By the breath of Eloah are they perishing, And by the spirit of His nostrils are they being finished.

²³ For you will have a covenant with the stones of the field, And the wild animal of the field will be at peace with you.

¹¹ Does not the ear test declarations As the palate tastes its food?

⁹ You shall smash them with a club of iron; Like a vessel of a potter, You shall shatter them.

⁸ Smoke ascended from His nostrils, And fire that devours from His mouth; Flashing embers blazed forth from Him."

²⁷ All the limits of the earth shall remember and return to Yahweh, And all the families of the nations shall bow down before Him." ²⁸ For Yahweh's is the kingdom, And He is the One ruling among the nations." ²⁹ Yea, to Him shall bow down All those about to be sleeping in the earth; Before Him shall crouch All those descending to the soil. And he who did not keep his soul alive--" ³⁰ His seed shall serve Him; It shall be recounted about Yahweh To the generation that is coming. ³¹ And they shall tell of His righteousness To a people about to be born. Declaring that He has done this.

⁶ Your throne, O Elohim, is for the eon and further; A scepter of equity is the scepter of Your kingdom." ⁷ You love righteousness and hate wickedness; Therefore Elohim Your Elohim has anointed You With the oil of elation beyond Your partners.

²² Yahweh has said, I shall restore from Bashan; I shall restore from the swamps of the sea,

¹ {Solomonic{ O Elohim, bestow Your right judgments on the king, And Your righteousness on the royal son." ² May he adjudicate Your people with righteousness, And Your humbled ones with redress." ³ May the mountains bear peace for the people, And the hills blossom with righteousness." ⁴ May he redress the humbled of the people; May he save the sons of the needy And crush the exploiter.

¹² For He shall rescue the needy one imploring, And the humbled one, when there is no helper for him." ¹³ He shall be a refuge for the poor and needy one, And the souls of the needy shall He save." ¹⁴ From fraud and from violence shall He redeem their soul, And their blood shall be precious in His eyes."

¹⁹ And blessed be His glorious Name for the eon! The entire earth shall be filled with His glory! {Amen and Amen.{

¹³ You Yourself partitioned the sea by Your strength; You broke the heads of the monsters in the waters. ¹⁴ You Yourself bruised the heads of the dragon; You gave it as food to a people, to desert-tribes." ¹⁵ You Yourself rent open spring and watercourse; You Yourself dried up the perennial streams.

² How long shall you judge with iniquity And lift up the faces of the wicked? {Interlude{ ³ Redress the poor and the orphan; To the humbled and destitute grant justice. ⁴ Deliver the poor and the needy; From the hand of the wicked, give rescue."

¹ He who is dwelling in the concealment of the Supreme Shall lodge in the shadow of Him Who-Suffices.

⁴ With His pinions shall He overshadow you, And under His wings shall you take refuge; A large shield and encircling-guard is His faithfulness."

¹ Yahweh reigns! With augustness is He clothed; Yahweh is clothed with strength; Thus has He belted Himself. Indeed, the habitance is established; It is immovable."

² Yahweh has made known His salvation; To the eyes of the nations He has revealed His righteousness. ³ He has remembered His benignity and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; All the limits of the earth have seen the salvation of our Elohim.

² The rod of Your strength shall Yahweh send from Zion; Sway among Your enemies.

⁷ Return to your rest, my soul, For Yahweh, He has dealt bountifully with you."

³ They whet their tongue like a serpent; The venom of an asp is under their lips. {Interlude{

² Yahweh is building up Jerusalem; He is collecting together the expelled of Israel,

⁵ May the benign ones be joyous in this glory; May they be jubilant upon their beds.

⁵ Then you shall understand the fear of Yahweh, And you shall find the knowledge of God."

⁹ Then you shall understand righteousness and right judgment, And you shall be upright in every good route;"

⁸ Open your mouth for the mute, For the adjudication of all the sons of insecurity;" ⁹ Open your mouth; judge righteously; And adjudicate the humble and needy one.

¹⁷ Leave off the evil! Learn to be good! Inquire for judgment! Make happy the wronged! Judge the orphan! Contend for the widow!

⁴ And He judges between the nations, and corrects many peoples. And they pound their swords into mattocks, and their spears into pruners. And nation is not lifting the sword against nation, nor learning still further to fight."

¹¹ The eyes of the haughty human are low, and prostrate is the highness of mortals, and Yahweh alone is impregnable in that day."

¹⁴ Yahweh is entering into judgment, with the elders of His people and its chiefs, "And you it is who consume My vineyard, and the pillage of the humble is in your houses."

² In that day the elegance of Yahweh is coming to be for stateliness, and for glory, and the face of the land for pomp and for beauty, for the delivered of Israel and Judah."

¹ And coming is it in the days of Ahaz, the son of Jotham, son of Uzziah, king of Judah, up goes Rezin, king of Syria, and Pekah, son of Remaliah, king of Israel, to Jerusalem to fight against it. Yet they cannot fight against it." ² And it is being told the house of David, saying, "Guided is Syria over Ephraim.And swaying is his heart, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wildwood sway from facing the wind." ³ And Yahweh is saying to Isaiah, "Fare forth, pray, to meet Ahaz, you and Shear-Jashub, your son, to the end of the trench of the uppermost reservoir, to the highway of the field of the launderer." ⁴ And say to him, `Beware! And be quiet! You must not fear, and your heart must not be tender, because of these two tails of the smoking wooden pokers, that are by the hot anger of Rezin and Syria, and Remaliah's son." ⁵ Forasmuch as Syria counsels evil against you, with Ephraim and Remaliah's son, saying, ⁶ We will go up into Judah and end it, and we will rend it to us, and we will cause a king to reign in its midst--the son of Tabeal;"'"

²⁰ In that day Yahweh will shave with a hired razor, with those across the stream, with the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet, and even the beard will it sweep off."

⁷ To the increase of the chieftainship, and to the welfare shall be no end. On the throne of David, and over his kingdom, to prepare it, and to brace it with judgment and with justice, henceforth and in the future eon. The zeal of Yahweh of hosts will do this."

²¹ Manasseh will eat Ephraim and Ephraim Manasseh, and together they will dine on Judah. And in all this His anger does not reverse, and his hand is outstretched still!"

⁹ Is not, as Carchemish, Calno? Should not, as Arphad, be Hamath? Should not, as Damascus, be Samaria?

²⁰ And it comes in that day, not continue further will the remnant of Israel, and the delivered of the house of Jacob, to lean on their smiter. Yet they will lean on Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel, in truth."

¹⁴ Yet now speaks Yahweh, saying, "In three years, as the years of a hireling, then slighted is the glory of Moab, in all the vast throng, and the remnant is but a little bit, and not abundant."

³ All dwellers of the habitance, and tabernaclers of the earth:As the lifting of a banner on the mountains, you shall see, and as the blowing of a trumpet, you shall hear."

⁵ And absorbed are the waters from the upper sea, and the stream shall be drained and be dry." ⁶ And the streams evaporate, and are impoverished, and the waterways of lower Egypt drain. The reeds and the weeds are withered." ⁷ Naked places are on the waterway, at the mouth of the waterway, and all that sown by the waterway is drying, and it is whisked away, and is not." ⁸ And the fishers complain, and mourn do all flingers of fishhooks into the waterway, and the spreaders of a dragnet on the surface of the waters are enfeebled." ⁹ And ashamed are the cultivators of yellow flax, and the weavers of pale cotton." ¹⁰ And its settlers become crushed. All workers for hire are marshy of soul.

¹⁶ In that day Egypt shall become as wives, and tremble, and be afraid in view of the wave of the hand of Yahweh of hosts, which He will wave over it."

²³ In that day a highway will come from Egypt to Assyria, and Assyria comes into Egypt, and Egypt goes into Assyria. And Egypt serves with Assyria."

¹ Yahweh, my Elohim are You! I will exalt You by acclaiming Your name! For You make a marvel, counsels from afar that are faithful. Amen!"

¹⁰ for the hand of Yahweh will rest in this mountain.And threshed is Moab under Him as crushed straw is threshed by a threshing sledge."

¹² And it comes, in that day, Yahweh will beat gleanings from the trail of the stream unto the watercourse of Egypt. And you, you shall be gleaned one by one, sons of Israel." ¹³ And it comes, in that day, blown shall be a great trumpet, and those perishing in the land of Assyria will come, and those expelled in the land of Egypt, and worship Yahweh in the holy mount in Jerusalem."

²⁶ And the light of the white moonshine comes to be as the light of the warm sunshine, and the light of the warm sunshine will become sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day when Yahweh will bind up the break of His people, and the transfixed of their smiting will He heal."

³³ for arranged since yesterday was the pyre. Moreover it is prepared, yea prepared, for the king, He deepens, He widens its abode for fire and much wood. The breath of Yahweh, as a watercourse of sulphur, is consuming in it."

¹ Behold! For justice, a king shall reign, and chiefs for judgment shall control."

¹⁷ And it comes that the yield of righteousness shall be welfare, and the service of righteousness, quietness and trust till the eon." ¹⁸ And My people shall dwell in a homestead of welfare, and in tabernacles of trust, and in tranquil resting places,

¹ Woe, you devastator, and you were not devastated! And you treacherous one, and they were not treacherous against you! As you come to an end with devastation, you shall be devastated. As you finish with treachery, they will be treacherous against you."

⁶ It comes to be the faithfulness of your eras. The safeguard of salvation is wisdom and knowledge. The fear of Yahweh, it is its treasure."

⁵ For soaked in the heavens shall be My sword. Behold! On Edom shall it descend, and on the people I doom for judgment." ⁶ The sword of Yahweh will be full of blood. It lubricates itself from the fat of lambs, and from the blood of butting rams and he-goats, from the fat of kidneys of rams. For there shall be a sacrifice to Yahweh in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom."

⁸ And there comes to be a highway and a clean one. And the holy way shall it be called. The unclean shall not pass there. And it shall be for those going that way, yet the dispersed shall not go astray on it, and the foolish shall not stray." ⁹ Nor shall a lion come there, and a breacher of living things will fail to ascend it. It shall not be found there. Yet the redeemed shall go into it,

³ The voice of one calling:"In the wilderness, surface the way of Yahweh! And straighten, in the gorge, a highway for our Elohim!" ⁴ Every ravine shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill shall be lowered. And all the crooked shall come to be straight, and the knobs a valley."

¹ Behold My Servant! I am upholding Him. My Chosen! Accepted by My soul! I bestow My spirit upon Him, and He shall bring forth judgment to the nations."

⁴ And He will not dim nor bruise till He shall place judgment in the earth. And the coastlanders will wait for His law."

¹⁰ Sing to Yahweh a new song, and his praise from the ends of the earth, those going down to the sea, and its fullness, the coastlands, and their dwellers."

¹² They shall give glory to Yahweh, and His praise in the coastlands shall they tell."

¹⁵ I will drain mountains and hills, and all their herbage will I dry up. And I convert streams into arid areas, and the marshes will I dry up." ¹⁶ And I will conduct the blind in a way they do not know, and in tracks they do not know will I cause them to tread. I will convert darkness before them into light, and the perverse into straightness. These things I do for them,

⁶ I will say to the north, `Give.' And to the south, `You must not detain.' Bring My sons from a land afar, and My daughters from the ends of the earth;"

⁶ That they may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is a limit apart from Me. I am Yahweh Elohim, and there is none else."

¹⁴ Thus says Yahweh of hosts, "The labor of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia, and the Sabeans, mortals of exceptional measure, shall pass over to you and become your servants. After you shall they go. In manacles shall they pass. And to you shall they prostrate, and to you shall they pray:`Yea, among you is the El, and no one else is the limit of the Elohim.'"

¹⁶ Draw near to me! Hear this! From the beginning, I did not speak in concealment, nor in a dark place of the earth. From the era of its coming, I was there, and now my Lord Yahweh sends me and His spirit."

With a voice of jubilation tell it, and announce this; bring it forth unto the ends of the earth:Say, `Yahweh has redeemed His servant Jacob.'" ²¹ And they were not thirsty in the deserts in which He conducted them. He caused water from a rock to exude for them. And rending was the rock, and gushing was the water, and My people drink."

⁶ And he is saying to me, "A slight thing is it for you to become My servant, to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and the dispersed of Israel to restore. Behold! I give you also for a light of the nations, to become My salvation unto the ends of the earth."

¹¹ And I make on all My mountains, and My highways are high." ¹² Behold! These from afar are coming, and, behold! These from the north and these from the sea, and these from the land of Sinim."

⁹ Rouse! Rouse! Clothe yourself with strength, arm of Yahweh! Rouse as in days aforetime, the generations of the eons! Are not You He, the Hewer of the audacious, the Wounder of the monster? ¹⁰ Are not you He, the Drainer of the sea, the waters of the vast submerged chaos? He Who places in the depths of the sea a way for the passing of the redeemed?

To take a great spoil? ¹⁴ Therefore, prophesy, son of man, and you have said to Gog:Thus said the Lord Yahweh:In that day, in the dwelling of My people Israel safely, Do you not know? ¹⁵ And you have come in out of your place, From the sides of the north, You and many peoples with you, Riding on horses--all of them, A great assembly, and a numerous force." ¹⁶ And you have come up against My people Israel, As a cloud to cover the land, In the latter end of the days it is, And I have brought you in against My land, In order that the nations may know Me, In My being sanctified in you before their eyes, O Gog." ¹⁷ Thus said the Lord Yahweh:Are you he of whom I spoke in former days, By the hand of My servants, prophets of Israel, Who are prophesying in those days--years, To bring you in against them? ¹⁸ And it has come to pass, in that day, In the day of the coming in of Gog against the land of Israel, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, Come up does My fury in My face, ¹⁹ And in My zeal, in the fire of My wrath, I have spoken:Is there not in that day a great rushing on the land of Israel? ²⁰ And rushed from My presence have fishes of the sea, And the fowl of the heavens, And the beast of the field, And every creeping thing that is creeping on the ground, And all men who [are] on the face of the ground, And thrown down have been the mountains, And fallen have the ascents, And every wall to the earth falls." ²¹ And I have called against him, to all My mountains a sword, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, The sword of each is against his brother." ²² And I have been judged with him, With pestilence and with blood, And an overflowing rain and hailstones, Fire and brimstone I rain on him, and on his bands, And on many peoples who [are] with him." ²³ And I have magnified Myself, and sanctified Myself, And I have been known before the eyes of many nations, And they have known that I [am] Yahweh!"

⁴ For many days shall the sons of Israel dwell without king and without chief, and without sacrifice and without altar, and without priesthood or thummim." ⁵ Afterward are the sons of Israel returning, and they seek Yahweh their Elohim, and David their king, and they come in awe to Yahweh and to His goodness, in the latter days."

¹¹ they shall tremble as a bird from Egypt, and as a dove from the land of Assyria. And I will cause them to dwell in their houses, (averring is Yahweh)."

¹ For, behold, in those days, and in that season, when I shall turn back the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, ² I will also convene all the nations and bring them down to the vale of Jehoshaphat. And I enter into judgment with them there concerning My people, and My allotment, Israel, whom they disperse among the nations, and My land which they apportion, ³ and they handle the lot for My people. They are giving the boy for prostitution, and the girl they sell for wine, and they are drinking it." ⁴ Moreover, what are you to Me, Tyre and Sidon, and all the circuit of Philistia? Are you repaying Me a requital? And, if you be requiting Me speedily, hastily will I reverse your requital on your head, ⁵ you who have taken My silver and My gold, and have brought My coveted good things to your temples." ⁶ And the sons of Judah and the sons of Jerusalem you sell to the sons of the Grecians, that you may put them far from their boundary." ⁷ Behold Me rousing them from the place where you sell them. I reverse your requital on your head, ⁸ and I sell your sons and your daughters, into the hands of the sons of Judah, and they sell them into captivity, to a nation afar, for Yahweh speaks." ⁹ Proclaim this among the nations! Hallow a war! Rouse the masters! All the mortals of war shall come close and ascend. ¹⁰ Pound your mattocks into swords and your pruning hooks into lances! The defeatist shall say, a master am I!" ¹¹ Mobilize and come, all nations from round about! And they are convened. There, Yahweh, settle Your masters!" ¹² All the nations shall rouse and ascend to the vale of Jehoshaphat. For there will I sit to judge all the nations from round about. ¹³ Send forth the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, tread, for the wine trough is full, the wine vats run over, for great is their evil." ¹⁴ Throngs, throngs in the vale of decision! For near is the day of Yahweh in the vale of decision!" ¹⁵ The sun and the moon are somber, and the stars gather in their brightness." ¹⁶ And Yahweh shall roar from Zion, and from Jerusalem shall He give forth His voice, and the heavens and the earth shall quake. Yet Yahweh is a refuge for His people, and a stronghold for the sons of Israel." ¹⁷ And you shall know that I am Yahweh, your Elohim, tabernacling in Zion, My holy mountain. And Jerusalem shall come to be a holy city, and aliens shall pass in her no longer." ¹⁸ And it shall come in that day, the mountains shall drop with juice, and the hills shall flow with milk. All the channels of Judah shall flow with water, and a spring from the house of Yahweh shall fare forth, and it irrigates the watercourse Shittim." ¹⁹ Egypt shall become a desolation, and Edom shall become a wilderness desolation because of wrong done to the sons of Judah--when they shed innocent blood in their land."

Says Yahweh, your Elohim, Him Who-Suffices."

And there shall not be a survivor for the house of Esau, for Yahweh speaks." ¹⁹ And they of the south rim shall tenant mount Esau, and they of the lowland, the Philistines, and they shall tenant the field of Ephraim, and the field of Samaria, and Benjamin shall tenant Gilead."

² And many nations go and say:Go, and we will ascend to the mount of Yahweh, and to the house of the Elohim of Jacob, and He will direct us in His ways, and we will go in His paths. For from Zion shall fare forth the law, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem." ³ And He judges between many peoples, and corrects staunch nations still afar, and they pound their swords into mattocks, and their spears into pruners; nation is not lifting the sword against nation, nor are they learning war any more." ⁴ And each man sits under his vine and under his fig tree, and no one is causing them to tremble. For the mouth of Yahweh of hosts has spoken,

¹² In that day also, unto you shall they come from Assyria and the cities of lower Egypt, and from Tyre and unto the stream, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain."

¹⁴ Shepherd Your people with Your club, the flock of Your allotment, tabernacling solitary in the wildwood in the midst of Carmel. They shall graze in Bashan and Gilead as in the days of the eon." ¹⁵ As the days of your faring forth from the land of Egypt, will I show marvels to them."

¹⁴ For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of Yahweh's glory, as the waters are covering over the sea."

³ Seek Yahweh, all the humble of the land, who have contrived His judgment; seek righteousness, seek humility. Perhaps you will be concealed in the day of Yahweh's anger."

⁵ Woe to the dwellers of the sea board, the sojourners of the Cherethites! The word of Yahweh is against you, Canaan, land of the Philistines! And I will destroy you, that there be no dweller."

¹¹ Yahweh will be fearful against them, for He will make all the elohim of the earth lean; and all the coastlands of the nations, each man from his place, shall worship Him."

¹⁰ From across the streams of Ethiopia, My entreaters, the daughter of My scattered ones, shall fetch My approach present."

⁹ Greater shall become the glory of this latter house than the former, says Yahweh of hosts. And in this place will I give peace, (averring is Yahweh of hosts)."

⁸ Hear, pray, Joshua, the great priest, you and your associates who are sitting before you, for mortals of a miracle are they, for behold Me bringing My servant, the Sprout."

¹¹ And he is saying to me, To build for her a house in the land of Shinar. And it shall be established and left there on its base."

¹² And you speak to him, saying, Thus speaks Yahweh of hosts, saying:Behold the man! Sprout is his name. And from under him shall it sprout. And he shall build the temple of Yahweh,

² And, moreover, Hamath is bounded in it, Tyre and Sidon, for they are exceedingly wise."

⁵ Ashkelon shall see it and fear, and Gaza also shall travail exceedingly, and Ekron--for her outlook shall be ashamed, and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be indwelt." ⁶ And a bastard shall dwell in Ashdod. And I will cut off the pomp of the Philistines. ⁷ And I will take away his blood from his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth. Yet he that remains, moreover, shall be for our Elohim; and he will come to be as a mentor in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite."

⁶ And I will give mastery to the house of Judah, and the house of Joseph will I save. And I will cause them to dwell, for I have compassion on them, and they shall come to be as if I had not cast them off; for I am Yahweh their Elohim, and I will respond to them."

⁸ I shall hiss for them and convene them, for I ransom them, and they increase just as they have increased." ⁹ And I will sow them among the peoples, yet in the far places shall they remember Me. And they shall live with their sons and return." ¹⁰ And I restore them from the land of Egypt, and from Assyria will I convene them. And to the land of Gilead and Lebanon will I bring them, yet no room will be found for them." ¹¹ And He passes in the sea of distress, and He smites the billows in the sea, and all the shadowy depths of the waterway shall be dried. Yet over the house of Judah will I unclose My eyes, and every horse of the peoples will I smite with blindness." ⁵ And the mentors of Judah will say in their heart, Resoluteness is with me! The dwellers of Jerusalem are in Yahweh of hosts, their Elohim." ⁶ In that day I will make the mentors of Judah as a chafing pan of fire among sticks, and as a torch of fire in a sheaf, and they devour all the peoples round about, on the right and on the left. Jerusalem shall still dwell under herself, in Jerusalem." ⁷ And Yahweh will save the tents of Judah as at first, that the beauty of the house of David, and the beauty of the dwellers of Jerusalem may not be magnified over Judah." ⁸ In that day Yahweh shall be a protection about the dwellers of Jerusalem, and the stumbler among them, in that day, shall become as David, and the house of David as the house of Elohim, as a messenger of Yahweh before them." ⁹ And it shall come to be in that day, I will seek to exterminate all the nations coming against Jerusalem." ¹⁰ Yet I pour out on the house of David, and on the dwellers of Jerusalem, a spirit of grace and supplications; and they look to Him Whom they stabbed, and they will wail over Him as the wailing over the only son, and they will be embittered over Him as the embittering over the firstborn." ¹¹ In that day the wailing will be great in Jerusalem, as the wailing of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon." ¹² And the land shall wail family by family alone, and their wives alone:The family of the house of David alone, and their wives alone; the family of the house of Nathan alone, and their wives alone;" ¹³ the family of the house of Levi alone, and their wives alone; the family of Shimei alone, and their wives alone;" ¹⁴ all the families that remain family by family alone, and their wives alone."

⁹ Then Yahweh shall come to be King over the entire earth. In that day Yahweh is coming to be one, and His name one."

⁶ And he shall restore the heart of the fathers to the sons and the heart of the sons to their fathers, lest I shall come and smite the earth to its doom."

Now David begets Solomon of the wife of Uriah; ⁷ now Solomon begets Rehoboam; now Rehoboam begets Abiah; now Abiah begets Asaph; ⁸ now Asaph begets Joshaphat; now Joshaphat begets Jehoram; now Jehoram begets Uzziah; ⁹ now Uzziah begets Jotham; now Jotham begets Ahaz; now Ahaz begets Hezekiah; ¹⁰ now Hezekiah begets Manasseh; now Manasseh begets Amos; now Amos begets Josiah; ¹¹ now Josiah begets Jeconiah and his brothers at the Babylonian exile. ¹² Now after the Babylonian exile Jeconiah begets Shalthiel; now Shalthiel begets Zerubbabel; ¹³ now Zerubbabel begets Abihud; now Abihud begets Eliakim; now Eliakim begets Azor; ¹⁴ now Azor begets Zadok; now Zadok begets Achim; now Achim begets Eliud; ¹⁵ now Eliud begets Eleazar; now Eleazar begets Matthan; now Matthan begets Jacob; ¹⁶ now Jacob begets Joseph, the husband of Mary of whom was born Jesus, Who is termed "Christ."

¹ Now, at Jesus' being born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, lo! magi from the East came along into Jerusalem, ² saying, "Where is He Who is brought forth King of the Jews? For we perceived His star in the East, and we came to worship Him."

¹⁶ Now, being baptized, Jesus straightway stepped up from the water, and lo! opened up to Him were the heavens, and He perceived the spirit of God descending as if a dove, and coming on Him.

⁵ "Happy are the meek, for they shall be enjoying the allotment of the land.

⁴⁴ Yet I am saying to you, Love your enemies, and pray for those who are persecuting you, ⁴⁵ so that you may become sons of your Father Who is in the heavens, for He causes His sun to rise on the wicked and the good, and makes it rain on the just and the unjust.

¹¹ Now I am saying to you that many from the east and the west shall be arriving and reclining with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of the heavens,

⁵ The blind are receiving sight, and the lame are walking; lepers are being cleansed, and the deaf are hearing, and the dead are being roused, and to the poor the evangel is being brought."

²⁸ Hither to Me, all who are toiling and laden, and I will be giving you rest." ²⁹ Lift My yoke upon you and be learning from Me, for meek am I and humble in heart, and you shall be finding rest in your souls, ³⁰ for My yoke is kindly and My load is light."

²¹ And on His name the nations will be relying.

²³ (according as it is written in the law of the Lord, that every male opening up the matrix shall be called holy to the Lord), ²⁴ and to give a sacrifice according to that which is declared in the law of the Lord, a pair of turtle doves or two squabs of the doves." ²⁵ And lo! there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name is Simeon. And this man is just and pious, anticipating the consolation of Israel, and holy spirit was on him." ²⁶ And he was apprised by the holy spirit that he would not be acquainted with death ere he should be acquainted with the Lord's Christ. ²⁷ And he came, in the spirit, into the sanctuary, and as the parents are bringing in the little Boy Jesus, for them to do according to the custom of the law concerning Him, ²⁸ he also receives Him, clasping Him in his arms. And he blesses God, and said, ²⁹ Now art Thou dismissing Thy slave, O Owner, According to Thy declaration, in peace, ³⁰ For my eyes perceived Thy Salvation, ³¹ Which Thou dost make ready suiting the face of all the peoples, ³² A Light for the revelation of nations, And the Glory of Thy people Israel."

³⁴ For He Whom God commissions is speaking God's declarations, for God is not giving the spirit by measure."

²⁴ Be not judging by the countenance, but be judging just judging."

³⁵ The Jews, then, said to themselves, "Where is he about to go, that we shall not find him? He is not about to go to the dispersion of the Greeks and teach the Greeks?

¹⁵ You are judging according to the flesh; I am not judging anyone. ¹⁶ And yet if ever I should be judging, My judging is true, for not alone am I, but I and the Father Who sends Me."

²⁰ Now there were some Greeks from among those going up that they should be worshiping in the festival. ²¹ These, then, came to Philip who is from Bethsaida of Galilee, and they asked him, saying, "Lord, we want to become acquainted with Jesus."

³² And I, if I should be exalted out of the earth, shall be drawing all to Myself."

¹⁷ 17 the spirit of truth, which the world can not get, for it is not beholding it, neither is knowing it. Yet you know it, for it is remaining with you and will be in you."

²⁶ Now, whenever the consoler which I shall be sending you from the Father may be coming, the spirit of truth which is going out from the Father, that will be testifying concerning Me."

¹³ Yet whenever that may be coming - the spirit of truth -it will be guiding you into all the truth, for it will not be speaking from itself, but whatsoever it should be hearing will it be speaking, and of what is coming will it be informing you."

⁴¹ Those indeed, then, who welcome his word, are baptized, and there were added in that day about three thousand souls." ⁴² Now they were persevering in the teaching of the apostles, and in fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in prayers." ⁴³ Now on every soul came fear, yet many miracles and signs occurred through the apostles in Jerusalem. Besides, great fear was on all." ⁴⁴ Now all those who believe also were in the same place and had all things in common. ⁴⁵ And they disposed of the acquisitions and the properties, and divided them to all, forasmuch as some would have had need." ⁴⁶ Besides persevering day by day with one accord in the sanctuary, besides breaking bread home by home, they partook of nourishment with exultation and simplicity of heart, ⁴⁷ praising God and having favor for the whole people. Now the Lord added those being saved day by day in the same place.

²⁹ And now, Lord, take notice of their threatenings, and be Thou endowing Thy slaves with all boldness to be speaking Thy word, ³⁰ by the stretching out of Thy hand for healing and signs and miracles to occur through the name of Thy holy Boy Jesus." ³¹ And at their beseeching, shaken was the place in which they were gathered, and they are all filled with the holy spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness." ³² Now the multitude of those who believe were of one heart and soul, and not even one said that any of his possessions are his own, but it was all theirs in common." ³³ And with great power the apostles rendered testimony to the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Lord. Besides, great grace was on them all, ³⁴ for neither was there any indigent among them, for whoever belonged to the acquirers of freeholds or of houses, selling these, they brought the price of that which is being disposed of, ³⁵ and placed it at the feet of the apostles. Now it was distributed to each, forasmuch as some would have had need."

¹ Now Saul, still breathing out threatening and murder against the disciples of the Lord, approaching the chief priest,

¹³ Yet Ananias answered, "Lord, I hear from many about this man, how much evil he does to Thy saints in Jerusalem." ¹⁴ And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who are invoking Thy name." ¹⁵ Yet the Lord said to him "Go, for he is a choice instrument of Mine, to bear My name before both the nations and kings, besides the sons of Israel, ¹⁶ for I shall be intimating to him how much he must be suffering for My name's sake." ¹⁷ Now Ananias came away and entered the house, and placing his hands on him, he said, "Saul! Brother! The Lord has commissioned me (Jesus, Who was seen by you on the road by which you came), so that you should be receiving sight and be filled with holy spirit." ¹⁸ And immediately fall from his eyes as if scales, and he receives sight. Besides, rising, also, he is baptized, ¹⁹ and obtaining nourishment, is strengthened. Now he came to be with the disciples in Damascus some days." ²⁰ And immediately, in the synagogues, he heralded Jesus, that He is the Son of God."

³⁸ Jesus from Nazareth, as God anoints Him with holy spirit and power, Who passed through as a benefactor and healer of all those who are tyrannized over by the Adversary, for God was with Him."

¹⁸ Now, on hearing these things, they are quiet, and glorify God, saying, "Consequently, to the nations also God gives repentance unto life!"

²² And, deposing him, He rouses David for their king, to whom He said also, in testifying, 'I found David, of Jesse, a man according to My heart, who will be doing all My will.'" ²³ From this one's seed, God, according to the promise, led to Israel a Saviour, Jesus. "

¹⁷ extricating you from the people and from the nations, to whom I am commissioning you, ¹⁸ to open their eyes, to turn them about from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God, for them to get a pardon of sins and an allotment among those who have been hallowed by faith that is in Me.'"

²⁸ Let it be known to you, then, that to the nations was dispatched this salvation of God, and they will hear."

¹⁵ For if their casting away is the conciliation of the world, what will the taking back be if not life from among the dead?

²⁵ For I am not willing for you to be ignorant of this secret, brethren, lest you may be passing for prudent among yourselves, that callousness, in part, on Israel has come, until the complement of the nations may be entering." ²⁶ And thus all Israel shall be saved, according as it is written, Arriving out of Zion shall be the Rescuer. He will be turning away irreverence from Jacob."

¹⁷ To no one render evil for evil, making ideal provision in the sight of all men, ¹⁸ if possible that which comes out from yourselves. Being at peace with all mankind, ¹⁹ you are not avenging yourselves, beloved, but be giving place to His indignation, for it is written, Mine is vengeance! I will repay! the Lord is saying. " ²⁰ But "If your enemy should be hungering, give him the morsel; if he should be thirsting, give him to drink, for in doing this you will be heaping embers of fire on his head." ²¹ Be not conquered by evil; but conquer evil with good.

¹⁷ for the kingdom of God is not food and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in holy spirit."

⁹ Yet the nations are to glorify God for His mercy, according as it is written, "Therefore I shall be acclaiming Thee among the nations,And to Thy name shall I be playing music." ¹⁰ And again he is saying, "Be merry, ye nations, with His people!" ¹¹ And again he is saying, "Praise the Lord, all the nations,And "let all the peoples laud Him." ¹² And again Isaiah is saying, there will be "the root of Jesse, And He Who is rising to Chief of the nations: On Him will the nations rely."

³⁰ Yet you, of Him, are in Christ Jesus, Who became to us wisdom from God, besides righteousness and holiness and deliverance,

¹³ which we are speaking also, not with words taught by human wisdom, but with those taught by the spirit, matching spiritual blessings with spiritual words." ¹⁴ Now the soulish man is not receiving those things which are of the spirit of God, for they are stupidity to him, and he is not able to know them, seeing that they are spiritually examined." ¹⁵ Now he who is spiritual is, indeed, examining all, yet he is being examined by no one."

³ Now to me it is the least trifle that I may be being examined by you or by man's day. But neither am I examining myself. ⁴ For of nothing am I conscious as to myself, but not by this am I justified. Now He Who is examining me is the Lord." ⁵ So that, be not judging anything before the season, till the Lord should be coming, Who will also illuminate the hidden things of darkness and manifest the counsels of the hearts. And then applause will be coming to each one from God."

⁹ Or are you not aware that the unjust shall not be enjoying the allotment of God's kingdom? Be not deceived. Neither paramours, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor catamites, nor sodomites, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards; no revilers, no extortioners shall be enjoying the allotment of God's kingdom." ¹¹ And some of you were these, but you are bathed off, but you are hallowed, but you were justified in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and by the spirit of our God."

¹⁴ For the love of Christ is constraining us, judging this, that, if One died for the sake of all, consequently all died." ¹⁵ And He died for the sake of all that those who are living should by no means still be living to themselves, but to the One dying and being roused for their sakes." ¹⁶ So that we, from now on, are acquainted with no one according to flesh. Yet even if we have known Christ according to flesh, nevertheless now we know Him so no longer." ¹⁷ So that, if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: the primitive passed by. Lo! there has come new!" ¹⁸ Yet all is of God, Who conciliates us to Himself through Christ, and is giving us the dispensation of the conciliation, ¹⁹ how that God was in Christ, conciliating the world to Himself, not reckoning their offenses to them, and placing in us the word of the conciliation." ²⁰ For Christ, then, are we ambassadors, as of God entreating through us. We are beseeching for Christ's sake, "Be conciliated to God!" ²¹ For the One not knowing sin, He makes to be a sin offering for our sakes that we may be becoming God's righteousness in Him."

⁷ in the word of truth, in the power of God, through the implements of righteousness of the right hand and of the left,

¹ Now I, Paul, myself am entreating you, through the meekness and leniency of Christ, who, as to personal appearance, indeed, am humble among you, yet, being absent, have courage toward you. "

²⁶ for you are all sons of God, through faith in Christ Jesus." ²⁷ For whoever are baptized into Christ, put on Christ,

²² Now the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ meekness, self-control: against such things there is no law."

¹⁷ that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may be giving you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the realization of Him, ¹⁸ the eyes of your heart having been enlightened, for you to perceive what is the expectation of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of the enjoyment of His allotment among the saints,

²² to put off from you, as regards your former behavior, the old humanity which is corrupted in accord with its seductive desires, ²³ yet to be rejuvenated in the spirit of your mind, ²⁴ and to put on the new humanity which, in accord with God, is being created in righteousness and benignity of the truth." ²⁵ Wherefore, putting off the false, let each be speaking the truth with his associate, for we are members of one another." ²⁶ Are you indignant, and not sinning? Do not let the sun be sinking on your vexation, ²⁷ nor yet be giving place to the Adversary. ²⁸ Let him who steals by no means still be stealing: yet rather let him be toiling, working with his hands at what is good, that he may have to share with one who has need." ²⁹ Let no tainted word at all be issuing out of your mouth, but if any is good toward needful edification, that it may be giving grace to those hearing." ³⁰ And do not be causing sorrow to the holy spirit of God by which you are sealed for the day of deliverance. ³¹ Let all bitterness and fury and anger and clamor and calumny be taken away from you with all malice, ³² yet become kind to one another, tenderly compassionate, dealing graciously among yourselves, according as God also, in Christ, deals graciously with you."

¹⁴ Stand, then, girded about your loins with truth, with the cuirass of righteousness put on."

⁹ And this I am praying, that your love may be superabounding still more and more in realization and all sensibility, ¹⁰ for you to be testing what things are of consequence, that you may be sincere and no stumbling block for the day of Christ,

¹⁴ All be doing without murmurings and reasonings, ¹⁵ that you may become blameless and artless, children of God, flawless, in the midst of a generation crooked and perverse among whom you are appearing as luminaries in the world,

⁸ who makes evident also to us your love in spirit. ⁹ Therefore we also, from the day on which we hear, do not cease praying for you and requesting that you may be filled full with the realization of His will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

² that their hearts may be consoled, being united in love, and to all the riches of the assurance of understanding, unto a realization of the secret of the God and Father, of Christ, ³ in Whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are concealed.

³ for you died, and your life is hid together with Christ in God." ⁴ Whenever Christ, our Life, should be manifested, then you also shall be manifested together with Him in glory." ⁵ Deaden, then, your members that are on the earth: prostitution, uncleanness, passion, evil desire and greed, which is idolatry, ⁶ because of which the indignation of God is coming on the sons of stubborness ⁷ among whom you also once walked, when you lived in these things." ⁸ Yet now you also be putting away all these: anger, fury, malice, calumny, obscenity out of your mouth."

¹⁵ See that no one may be rendering evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue that which is good for one another as well as for all."

⁷ and to you who are being afflicted, ease, with us, at the unveiling of the Lord Jesus from heaven with His powerful messengers, ⁸ in flaming fire, dealing out vengeance to those who are not acquainted with God and those who are not obeying the evangel of our Lord Jesus Christ" ⁹ who shall incur the justice of eonian extermination from the face of the Lord, and from the glory of His strength" ¹⁰ whenever He may be coming to be glorified in His saints and to be marveled at in all who believe (seeing that our testimony to you was believed) in that day. ¹¹ For which we are always praying also concerning you, that our God should be counting you worthy of the calling, and should be fulfilling every delight of goodness and work of faith in power, ¹² so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in Him, in accord with the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ."

⁸ then will be unveiled the lawless one (whom the Lord Jesus will despatch with the spirit of His mouth and will discard by the advent of His presence),

⁷ for God gives us, not a spirit of timidity, but of power and of love and of sanity."

² to be calumniating no one, to be pacific, lenient, displaying all meekness toward all humanity." ³ For we also were once foolish, stubborn, deceived, slaves of various desires and gratifications, leading a life in malice and envy, detestable, hating one another." ⁴ Yet when the kindness and fondness for humanity of our Saviour, God, made its advent, ⁵ not for works which are wrought in righteousness which we do, but according to His mercy, He saves us, through the bath of renascence and renewal of holy spirit,

⁹ because of love I am rather entreating, being such a one as Paul the aged, yet now a prisoner also of Christ Jesus." ¹⁰ I am entreating you concerning my child, whom I beget in my bonds, ¹¹ Onesimus, who once was useless to you, yet now is useful to you as well as to me, ¹² whom I send back to you. Him - this means my very compassions - take to yourself, ¹³ whom I intended to be retaining for myself that, for your sake, he may be serving me in the bonds of the evangel." ¹⁴ Yet apart from your opinion I want to do nothing, that your good may not be as of compulsion but voluntary." ¹⁵ For perhaps therefore is he separated for an hour, that you may be collecting him as an eonian repayment, ¹⁶ no longer as a slave, but above a slave, a brother beloved, especially to me, yet how much rather to you, in the flesh as well as in the Lord!"

¹⁷ Whence He ought, in all things, to be made like the brethren, that He may be becoming a merciful and faithful Chief Priest in that which is toward God, to make a propitiatory shelter for the sins of the people."

¹ We may be afraid then, lest at some time, a promise being left of entering into His stopping, anyone of you may be seeming to be deficient."

⁹ Consequently a sabbatism is left for the people of God. ¹⁰ For he who is entering into His stopping, he also stops from his works even as God from His own." ¹¹ We should be endeavoring, then, to be entering into that stopping, lest anyone should be falling into the same example of stubbornness." ¹² For the word of God is living and operative, and keen above any two-edged sword, and penetrating up to the parting of soul and spirit, both of the articulations and marrow, and is a judge of the sentiments and thoughts of the heart." ¹³ And there is not a creature which is not apparent in its sight. Now all is naked and bare to the eyes of Him to Whom we are accountable. ¹⁴ Having, then, a great Chief Priest, Who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, we may be holding to the avowal." ¹⁵ For we have not a Chief Priest not able to sympathize with our infirmities, but One Who has been tried in all respects like us, apart from sin." ¹⁶ We may be coming, then, with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may be obtaining mercy and finding grace for opportune help."

¹⁴ Now solid nourishment is for the mature, who, because of habit, have faculties exercised for discriminating between the ideal and the evil."

¹ James, a slave of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes in the dispersion. Rejoice!"

¹³ Who is wise and an adept among you? Let him show his works by an ideal behavior in meekness of wisdom.

¹⁷ Now the wisdom from above is first, indeed, pure, thereupon peaceable, lenient, compliant, bulging with mercy and good fruits, undiscriminating, unfeigned." ¹⁸ Now the fruit of righteousness is being sown in peace for those making peace.

⁷ that the testing of your faith, much more precious than gold which is perishing, yet, being tested by fire, may be found for applause and glory and honor at the unveiling of Jesus Christ, ⁸ Whom, not perceiving, you are loving; in Whom, not seeing at present, yet believing, you are exulting with joy unspeakable and glorious, ⁹ being requited with the consummation of your faith, the salvation of your souls."

¹ Christ, then, having suffered for our sakes in flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same thought, for he who is suffering in flesh has ceased his sins,

¹⁰ Now the God of all grace, Who calls you into His eonian glory in Christ, while briefly suffering, He will be adjusting, establishing, firming, founding you."

⁹ If we should be avowing our sins, He is faithful and just that He may be pardoning us our sins and should be cleansing us from all injustice."

¹³ and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like a son of mankind, dressed in a garment reaching to the feet, and girded about at the breasts with a golden girdle."

¹⁶ And He has in His right hand seven stars, and out of His mouth a sharp two-edged blade is issuing, and His countenance is as the sun appearing in its power."

¹⁶ Repent then! Yet if not, I am coming to you swiftly and shall be battling with them with the blade of My mouth."

¹⁴ And to the messenger of the ecclesia in Laodicea write: 'Now this is saying the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, and God's Creative Original:"

⁵ And one of the elders is saying to me, "Do not lament! Lo! He conquers! The Lion out of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, is to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals!"

⁹ And they are singing a new song, saying, "Worthy art Thou to be taking the scroll and to open its seals, For Thou wast slain and dost buy us for God by Thy blood. Out of every tribe and language and people and nation."

¹² And the sixth pours out his bowl on the great river Euphrates. And its water is dried up that the road of the kings from the orient may be made ready.

¹¹ And I perceived heaven open, and lo! a white horse. And He Who is sitting on it is called "Faithful and True,and in righteousness is He judging and battling."

¹⁵ And out of His mouth a sharp blade is issuing, that with it He should be smiting the nations. And He will be shepherding them with an iron club. And He is treading the wine trough of the fury of the indignation of God, the Almighty."

² And he lays hold of the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the Adversary and Satan, and binds him a thousand years." ³ And he casts him into the submerged chaos and locks it, and seals it over him (lest he should still be deceiving the nations) until the thousand years should be finished. After these things he must be loosed a little time." ⁴ And I perceived thrones, and they are seated on them, and judgment was granted to them. And the souls of those executed because of the testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who do not worship the wild beast or its image, and did not get the emblem on their forehead and on their hand- they also live and reign with Christ a thousand years." ⁵ (The rest of the dead do not live until the thousand years should be finished.) This is the former resurrection. ⁶ Happy and holy is he who is having part in the former resurrection! Over these the second death has no jurisdiction, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will be reigning with Him the thousand years."

²⁷ and under no circumstances may anything contaminating, or one who is making an abomination and a lie be entering into it, except those written in the Lambkin's scroll of life."

¹⁶ I, Jesus, send My messenger to testify these things to you in the ecclesias. I am the root and the race of David, the resplendent morning star."
