Joseph is torn to pieces, yea, to pieces!" ³⁴ And tearing is Jacob his garments, and is placing sackcloth on his waist, and is mourning over his son many days. ³⁵ And rising are all his sons and all his daughters and they come to console him, yet refusing is he to be consoled and is saying that, "Descend will I to my son, to the unseen, mourning.And lamenting over him is his father. ³⁶ And the Midianites sell Joseph to Egypt, to Potiphar, a eunuch of Pharaoh, chief of the executioners.

He brings to us a man, a Hebrew to laugh at us. He comes to me saying, `Lie with me,' and calling am I with a loud voice. <sup>15</sup> And coming is it, as he hears that I raise high my voice and am calling, that he is leaving his cloak beside me and is fleeing and faring forth outside. <sup>16</sup> And leaving is she his cloak beside her till his lord comes to his house. <sup>17</sup> And speaking is she to him according to these words, saying, "There came to me the Hebrew servant whom you brought to us, to laugh at me, and said to me, `Lie with me.. ¹⁸ And coming is it, as I raise high my voice and am calling, that he is leaving his cloak beside me and is fleeing and is faring forth outside. ¹⁹ And coming is it, as his lord hears the words of his wife, which she speaks to him, saying, "According to these words does your servant to me,that hot is his anger. ²⁰ And Joseph's lord is taking him and is giving him over to the round-house, the place in which the king's prisoners are bound. And coming is he to be there in the round-house. ²¹ Yet coming is Yahweh to be with Joseph, and He is stretching out to him in kindness and is giving him grace in the eyes of the chief of the round-house. ²² And the chief of the round-house is giving into the hand of Joseph all the prisoners who are in the round-house. And all that is being done there, he comes to be the doer. ²³ Naught is the chief of the round-house prison seeing of all that is in his hand, in that Yahweh is with him, and all that he is doing Yahweh is prospering.

And giving am I the cup into Pharaoh's hand. ¹² And saying to him is Joseph, "This is its interpretation: The three intertwined branches, three days are they. ¹³ In further three days Pharaoh will lift up your head, and restore you to your post, and you shall give Pharaoh's cup into his hand, according to the former custom, by which you became his cupbearer. ¹⁴ For, remember me should you when it is well with you, then, pray, deal withal in kindness, and mention me to Pharaoh, and bring me forth from this house, ¹⁵ for verily, stolen was I from the land of the Hebrews, and moreover, here have I done naught that they should place me in this cistern. ¹⁶ And seeing is the chief of the bakers that he interprets well. And saying is he to Joseph. "Indeed, I dreamed in my dream and, behold! Three days of cereal food is on my head. ¹⁷ And in the uppermost tray are some of all food for Pharaoh, the king, made by baking. And the flyers of the heavens are eating them from the tray, off my head. ¹⁸ And answering is Joseph and saying to him, "This is its interpretation: The three trays, three days are they. ¹⁹ In further three days, lift will Pharaoh your head off of you, and hang you on a tree. And the flyers of the heavens shall eat your flesh off of you. ²⁰ And coming is it on the third day, the birthday of Pharaoh, that he is making a feast for all his servants. And lifting up is he the head of the chief of the cupbearers, and the head of the chief of the bakers in the midst of his servants. ²¹ And restoring is he the chief of the cupbearers to his cupbearing, and giving is he the cup into the hand of Pharaoh. ²² Yet the chief of the bakers he hangs, according as Joseph had interpreted to them. ²³ Yet the chief of the cupbearers did not remember Joseph, and forgetting him is he.

And, leaves he his father, he also will die.. ²³ Yet you said to your servants, `Should not your small brother come down with you, you shall not continue to see my face.. <sup>24</sup> And coming is it that we went up to your servant, our father, and we told him the words of my lord. <sup>25</sup> And saying is our father, `Return. Purchase for us a little food.. ²⁶ And said we, `We cannot go down. Should, forsooth, our small brother go down with us, then we will go down, for we cannot see the man's face if our small brother is not with us.. <sup>27</sup> And saying is your servant, our father, to us, `You know that two were borne for me by my wife.

Also the continual bread shall be on it. ⁸ Then they will spread over them a cloth of double-dipped crimson, and they will cover it with a cover of azure hide and put its poles in place. ⁹ They will take a blue cloth and cover the lampstand of the luminary, its lamps and its snuffers, its fire-pans and all its oil vessels with which they minister to it. ¹⁰ Then they will put it and all its furnishings into a cover of azure hide and put it on the slider bar. ¹¹ Also on the golden altar shall they spread a blue cloth, and they will cover it with a cover of azure hide and put its poles in place. ¹² They will take all the furnishings of the ministry with which they minister in the holy place and wrap them in a blue cloth and cover them with a cover of azure hide and put them on the slider bar. ¹³ Then they will degrease the copper altar, spread over it a purple clot. ¹⁴ and put on it all its furnishings with which they minister on it, the fire-pans, the forks and the shovels and the sprinkling bowls, all the furnishings of the altar; they will spread over it a cover of azure hide and put its poles in place. And they will take a purple cloth and cover the laver and its base and put them into a cover of azure hide and put them on the slider bar. ¹⁵ When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy things with all the furnishings of the holy things when the camp is to journey, then afterward the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it. Yet they shall not touch the holy things lest they die. And you will commit to them as a charge all of their load. ²⁸ This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonite in the tent of appointment. And their charge is in the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest. ²⁹ As for the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers' house you shall muster them. ³⁰ From thirty years old and upward unto fifty years old shall you muster them, everyone coming to the Levitical host to serve in the service of the tent of appointment. ³¹ This is the charge of their load for all their service in the tent of appointment:the hollow tapers of the tabernacle with its bars, its columns and its sockets, ³² the columns around the court with their sockets, their pegs and their cords with all their furnishings and with all their servicing. Then offer the one as a sin offering and the other as an ascent offering to Yahweh to make a propitiatory shelter over the Levites. ¹³ Have the Levites stand before Aaron and before his sons, and wave them as a wave offering before Yahweh. ¹⁴ Thus you will separate the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel, so that the Levites become Mine. ¹⁵ And afterward the Levites shall come to serve in the service of the tent of appointment when you have cleansed them and waved them as a wave offering. ¹⁶ For they are the ones being given, yea given to Me from the midst of the sons of Israel; instead of everyone opening up the womb, every firstborn of the sons of Israel, I have taken them for Myself;" ¹⁷ for Mine is every firstborn among the sons of Israel among human and among beast. On the day I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for Myself. ¹⁸ So I shall take the Levites instead of every firstborn among the sons of Israel, ¹⁹ and give the Levites from the midst of the sons of Israel as a gift to Aaron and to his sons to serve in the service on behalf of the sons of Israel in the tent of appointment and to make a separating shelter for the sons of Israel so that no stroke may come among the sons of Israel when the sons of Israel come close to the holy place. ²⁰ Moses, Aaron and the whole congregation of the sons of Israel dealt with the Levites according to all that Yahweh had instructed Moses as to the Levites. So the sons of Israel dealt with them. ²¹ The Levites purified themselves from sin and rinsed their garments, and Aaron waved them as a wave offering before Yahweh; then Aaron made a propitiatory shelter over them to cleanse them. ²² And afterward the Levites came to serve their service in the tent of appointment before Aaron and before his sons. Just as Yahweh had instructed Moses concerning the Levites, so they dealt with them. ²³ Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying. ²⁴ This is what applies to the Levites. From twenty-five years old and upward may one come to enlist with the Levitical host in the service of the tent of appointment. ²⁵ And from fifty years old shall one retire from the active service in the Levitical host and shall serve no longer; ²⁶ yet he may minister to his brothers in the tent of appointment, so as to keep guard, though in active service he shall not serve. Thus shall you deal with the Levites in regard to their charges.

When you blow the third blast then the camps encamping westward will journey. When you blow the fourth blast then the camps encamping northward will journey. Short blasts shall they blow for their decampings; ⁷ yet when the assembly is to assemble you shall blow long and not sound short blasts. ⁸ The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the bugles. And they will be to you as an eonian statute throughout your generations. ⁹ In case you enter a war in your land with the foe who is distressing you then you will blast on the bugles, and you will be remembered before Yahweh your Elohim, and you will be saved from your enemies. ¹⁰ And in the day of your rejoicing, in your appointments and at the beginnings of your months you will blow on bugles over your ascent offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they will be to you for a memorial before your Elohim. And they also over-against their brethren dwelt in Jerusalem with their brethren. ³³ And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi-Shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-Baal. ³⁴ And a son of Jonathan [is] Merib-Baal, and Merib-Baal begat Micah;" ³⁵ and sons of Micah:Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz. ³⁶ and Ahaz begat Jehoadah, and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza, ³⁷ and Moza begat Binea, Raphah [is] his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son. ³⁸ And to Azel [are] six sons, and these [are] their names:Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these [are] sons of Azel. ³⁹ And sons of Eshek his brother:Ulam his first-born, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third. ⁴⁰ And the sons of Ulam are men mighty in valor, treading bow, and multiplying sons and son's sons, a hundred and fifty. All these [are] of the sons of Benjamin.

³² And of the sons of Issachar, having understanding for the times, to know what Israel should do; their heads [are] two hundred, and all their brethren [are] at their command.

³⁴ And of Naphtali, a thousand heads, and with them, with target and spear, [are] thirty and seven thousand. ³⁵ And of the Danite, arranging battle, [are] twenty and eight thousand and six hundred.

¹ And David said, `This is the house of Yahweh Elohim, and this the altar for burnt-offering for Israel.. <sup>2</sup> And David said to gather the sojourners who [are] in the land of Israel, and appoints hewers to hew hewn-stones to build a house of Elohim. <sup>3</sup> And iron in abundance for nails for leaves of the gates, and for couplings, has David prepared, and brass in abundance--there is no weighing. <sup>4</sup> And cedar-trees even without number, for the Zidonians and the Tyrians brought in cedar-trees in abundance to David. <sup>5</sup> And David said, `Solomon my son [is] a youth and tender, and the house to be built to Yahweh [is] to be made exceedingly great, for name and for beauty to all the lands; let me prepare, I pray You, for it;' and David prepares in abundance before his death. ⁶ And he calls for Solomon his son, and charges him to build a house to Yahweh, Elohim of Israel, ⁷ and David said to Solomon his son, `As for me, it has been with my heart to build a house to the name of Yahweh my Elohim, <sup>8</sup> and the word of Yahweh [is] against me, saying, Blood in abundance you have shed, and great wars you have made:you do not build a house to My name, for much blood you have shed to the earth before Me. <sup>9</sup> `Lo, a son is born to you; he is a man of rest, and I have given rest to him from all his enemies round about, for Solomon is his name, and peace and quietness I give unto Israel in his days;" ¹⁰ he does build a house to My name, and he is to Me for a son, and I [am] to him for a father, and I have established the throne of his kingdom over Israel unto the eon. ¹¹ `Now, my son, Yahweh is with you, and you have prospered, and have built the house of Yahweh your Elohim, as He spoke concerning you. <sup>12</sup> Only, Yahweh give to you wisdom and understanding, and charge you concerning Israel, even to keep the law of Yahweh your Elohim;" <sup>13</sup> then you do prosper, if you do observe to do the statutes and the judgments that Yahweh charged Moses with concerning Israel; be strong and courageous; do not fear, nor be cast down. <sup>14</sup> `And lo, in mine affliction, I have prepared for the house of Yahweh of gold talents a hundred thousand, and of silver a thousand thousand talents; and of brass and of iron there is no weighing, for in abundance it has been, and wood and stones I have prepared, and to them you do add. ¹⁵ `And with you in abundance [are] workmen, hewers and artificers of stone and of wood, and every skilful man for every work. <sup>16</sup> To the gold, to the silver, and to the brass, and to the iron, there is no number; arise and do, and Yahweh is with you.. <sup>17</sup> And David gives charge to all heads of Israel to give help to Solomon his son, <sup>18</sup> `Is not Yahweh your Elohim with you? yea, He has given rest to you round about, for He has given into my hand the inhabitants of the land, and subdued has been the land before His people. ¹⁹ `Now, give your heart and your soul to seek to Yahweh your Elohim, and rise and build the sanctuary of Yahweh Elohim, to bring in the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, and the holy vessels of Elohim, to the house that is built to the name of Yahweh..

⁵ and he is as one seeking Elohim in the days of Zechariah who has understanding in visions of Elohim:and in the days of his seeking Yahweh, Elohim has caused him to prosper.

⁵ And it came to be when the feast days were concluded, that Job would send and have them hallowed. He would rise early in the morning and offer up ascent offerings in number as them all. For Job said, Perhaps my sons have sinned and have scorned Elohim in their heart. Thus Job was doing for all these days.

¹³ In disquieting thoughts from visions of the night, In that stupor which falls on mortals,

¹⁴ Indeed El does speak once, And twice, yet no one regards it, ¹⁵ In a dream, a vision of the night, When stupor falls upon men, In slumberings on their bed;"

⁸ Now take for yourselves seven bullocks and seven rams. Go to my servant Job, and offer up an ascent offering on behalf of yourselves. And Job, my servant, he shall pray for you. For then I shall lift up his face by not inflicting on you any disgrace. For you did not speak concerning Me what is rightly so as My servant Job has done.

⁶⁸ Yet He chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which He loves;"

⁷⁰ He chose David, His servant, And He took him from the folds of the flock;" ⁷¹ From following the ewes, He brought him To shepherd Jacob, His people, And Israel, His allotment." ⁷² So he shepherded them in the integrity of his heart, And by the understanding of his palms, he guided them."

²³ Then Israel came down to Egypt, And Jacob sojourned in the country of Ham."

¹¹ As a shepherd He is grazing His drove, and in His arm He is cuddling the lambkins, and in His bosom He is carrying them. The pregnant He is comforting. The unweaned He is conducting."

¹⁰ You must not fear, for I am with you, and you must not take heed for yourself, for I am your Elohim. I make you resolute; indeed, I help you. Indeed, I uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.'"

¹ And now, thus says Yahweh Elohim, your creator, Jacob, and your Former, Israel:"You must not fear, for I redeemed you, I called you by your name. You are mine." ² In case you are passing through the waters, I am with you. And through the streams, they shall not overflow you. In case you are going through fire, you shall not be scorched, and the blaze shall not consume among you."

⁴ For thus says my Lord Yahweh, "To Egypt My people descended at first, to sojourn there. And the Assyrian extorted to the limit from it."

⁹ And swear to them does Gedaliah son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, and to their men, saying, `Be not afraid of serving the Chaldeans, abide in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it is well for you;"

¹⁹ Then to Daniel in a vision that night, the secret of the king is revealed. Then Daniel blesses the Eloah of the heavens."

⁸ Then they are saying to him, Tell us, pray, on whose account is this evil with us? What is your work, and whence are you coming? What is your land, and where, from which people are you?

⁵ And he shall say, I am not a prophet! I am a man serving the ground, for a human caused me to acquire it from my youth."

³ perceived in a vision manifestly, as if about the ninth hour of the day, a messenger of God entering to him and saying to him, "Cornelius!"

¹³ And a voice came to him, "Rise, Peter! Sacrifice and eat!"

⁹ And during the night a vision was seen by Paul. A certain man, a Macedonian, was standing and entreating him, and saying, "Cross over into Macedonia! Help us!"

³ and, because of his being of a like trade, he remained with them and worked, for they were tentmakers by trade."

³⁷ Now there came to be considerable lamentation by all, and falling on Paul's neck, they kissed him fondly,

²⁴ saying,'Fear not, Paul! Before Caesar you must stand. And lo! graciously has God granted you all those who are sailing with you.'"

¹¹ For both He Who is hallowing and those who are being hallowed are all of One, for which cause He is not ashamed to be calling them brethren,

¹⁴ For it is taken for granted that our Lord has risen out of Judah, to which tribe Moses speaks nothing concerning priests,

⁵ And one of the elders is saying to me, "Do not lament! Lo! He conquers! The Lion out of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, is to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals!"
