³⁶ Both the lion and the bear has your servant smitten, and this uncircumcised Philistine has been as one of them, for he has reproached the ranks of the living Elohim..

¹⁰ And the Philistine said, `I have reproached the ranks of Israel this day; give to me a man, and we fight together..

²⁶ And David speaks unto the men who are standing by him, saying, `What is done to the man who smites this Philistine, and has turned aside reproach from Israel? for who [is] this uncircumcised Philistine that he has reproached the ranks of the living Elohim?.

¹⁵ Will the axe beautify itself over the one hewing with it? Should the chief's mace magnify itself over the one waving it? As if a club is also waving the one raising it! As if a rod is raising one who is not wood!

⁸ `And now, pray, give hostages to my lord, the king of Assyria, and I will give to you two thousand horses, if you can put your riders on them." <sup>9</sup> Then how will you reverse the face of one viceroy of my lord's small servants? Yet you yourself are trusting on Egypt for chariots and for horsemen. <sup>10</sup> `And now, apart from Yahweh, did I come up against this land to ruin it? ¹⁵ Nor must Hezekiah make you trust in Yahweh, by saying, "Rescue, yea rescue us will Yahweh, and this city shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria."

¹⁸ lest Hezekiah shall incite you, saying, "Yahweh will rescue you.Did the elohim of the nations rescue any man's land from the hand of the king of Assyria?

²² This is the word which Yahweh Elohim speaks concerning him:"She despises you! She derides you! The virgin daughter of Zion. Behind you her head wags! The daughter of Jerusalem." ²³ Whom do you reproach and taunt? And against Whom do you raise high your voice? And you are lifting up your eyes to the height against the Holy One of Israel?

²⁸ Your rising and your sitting and your faring forth and your coming in I know, and your perturbance against Me." ²⁹ Because your perturbance against Me and your tumult ascends in My ears, so I will place My gaff in your nose, and My bit in your lips, and I will reverse you by the way in which you came."

¹⁹ Than whom have you been more pleasant? Go down, and be laid with the uncircumcised."

²⁷ And they lie not with the mighty, Who are falling of the uncircumcised, Who have gone down to sheol with their weapons of war, And they put their swords under their heads, And their iniquities are on their bones, For the terror of the mighty [is] in the land of the living." ²⁸ And you, in the midst of the uncircumcised are broken, And do lie with the pierced of the sword." ²⁹ There [is] Edom, her kings, and all her princes, Who have been given up in their might, With the pierced of the sword, They with the uncircumcised do lie, And with those going down to the pit." ³⁰ There [are] princes of the north, All of them, and every Zidonian, Who have gone down with the pierced in their terror, Of their might they are ashamed, And they lie uncircumcised with the pierced of the sword, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit." ³¹ Then does Pharaoh see, And he has been comforted for all his multitude, The pierced of the sword--Pharaoh and all his force, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh." ³² For I have given his terror in the land of the living, And he has been laid down in the midst of the uncircumcised, With the pierced of the sword--Pharaoh, and all his multitude, An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh!'"

⁸ For thus says Yahweh of hosts:After the glory He sends me to the nations, your looters; for he who is touching you is touching the apple of My eye."

³ And it shall come to be in that day, I will make Jerusalem a stone, a lading for all the peoples; all laden with it shall be sorely lacerated, and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered against it."

³⁸ And now I am saying to you, Withdraw from these men and let them be, for if this counsel or this work should be of men, it will be demolished;" ³⁹ yet if it is of God, you will not be able to demolish them - lest at some time you may be found fighters against God also."

²⁸ For not that which is apparent is the Jew, nor yet that which is apparent in flesh is circumcision;" ²⁹ but that which is hidden is the Jew, and circumcision is of the heart, in spirit, not in letter, whose applause is not of men, but of God."
