1 Chronicles 15:1 Cross References - CLV

¹ And he makes for himself houses in the city of David, and prepares a place for the ark of Elohim, and stretches out for it a tent.

⁹ And David dwells in the fortress, and calls it--City of David, and David builds round about, from Millo and inward,

⁷ And David sends unto Tamar, to the house, saying, `Go, I pray you, to the house of Amnon your brother, and make for him food.. ⁸ And Tamar goes to the house of Amnon her brother, and he is lying down, and she takes the dough, and kneads, and makes cakes before his eyes, and cooks the cakes,

²⁴ and the king said, `Let him turn round unto his house, and my face he does not see.' And Absalom turns round unto his house, and the face of the king he has not seen.

³ And David assembles all Israel unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of Yahweh unto its place that he had prepared for it.

¹ And they bring in the ark of Elohim, and set it up in the midst of the tent that David has stretched out for it, and they bring near burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before Elohim;"

¹ And it comes to pass as David sat in his house, that David said unto Nathan the prophet, `Lo, I am dwelling in a house of cedars, and the ark of the covenant of Yahweh [is] under curtains;. <sup>2</sup> and Nathan said unto David, `All that [is] in your heart do, for Elohim [is] with you.. ³ And it comes to pass on that night that a word of Elohim is unto Nathan, saying, ⁴ `Go, and you have said unto David My servant, Thus said Yahweh, You do not build for Me the house to dwell in. ⁵ for I have not dwelt in a house from the day that I brought up Israel till this day, and I am from tent unto tent:and from the tabernacle,

⁵ Until I should find a place for Yahweh, A Grand Tabernacle for the Sturdy One of Jacob."

⁴⁶ who found favor before God. And he requests that he may find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.
