¹ A Psalm of Asaph. God stands in the assembly of gods; and in the midst of them will judge gods.

²¹ Also you shall select for yourself able men out of all the people, God fearing men, righteous men, hating pride, and you shall set over the people captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, and captains of fifties, and captains of tens.

⁶ his master shall bring him to the judgment seat of God, and then shall he bring him to the door, to the doorpost, and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl, and he shall serve him forever.

²⁸ You shall not revile God, nor curse a ruler of your people.

⁶ And he said to the judges, Take good heed what you do: for you judge not for man, but for the Lord, and with you are matters of judgment. ⁷ And now let the fear of the Lord be upon you, and be wary, and do your duty; for there is no unrighteousness with the Lord our God, neither is it for Him to respect persons, or to take bribes.

¹¹ And a man shall say, Verily then there is a reward for the righteous; verily there is a God that judges them in the earth.

⁶ I have said, You are gods; and all of you children of the Most High. ⁷ But you die as men, and fall as one of the princes.

⁸ If you should see the oppression of the poor, and the wresting of judgment and of justice in the land, wonder not at the matter; for there is a high one to watch over him that is high, and high ones over them.

¹³ But now the Lord will stand up for judgment, and will enter into judgment with His people.
