²⁵ Likewise also the good works of some are evident beforehand, and those which are otherwise cannot be hidden.

⁵ Disclose Your way to the Lord, and trust in Him; and He shall bring it to pass. ⁶ And He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your judgment as the noonday.

⁹ He that walks simply, walks confidently, but he that perverts his ways shall be known.

¹⁶ Thus let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works, and they may glorify your Father who is in heaven.

³ But when you do charitable giving, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, ⁴ so that your charitable giving may be in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will Himself reward you openly. ⁵ "And whenever you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray standing in the synagogues, and on the streetcorners, so that they may be seen by men. Assuredly I say to you, that they receive their reward in full. ⁶ But you, whenever you pray, enter into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you openly.

³³ "No one, having lit a lamp, puts it in a secret place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, so that those who come in may see the light.

³⁶ Now in Joppa there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which being translated is called Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and charitable giving which she was doing.

²² And they said, "Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and fearing God, having a good reputation among all the nation of the Jews, was given a revelation by a holy angel to send for you to his house, and to hear words from you."

¹ Now he arrived at Derbe and Lystra. And behold, a certain disciple was there named Timothy, the son of a certain Jewish woman who believed, but his father was Greek, ² who had a good testimony by the brothers in Lystra and Iconium. ³ Paul desired this Timothy to go forth with him, and taking him, he circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those places, for they all knew that his father was Greek.

¹² And Ananias, a certain devout man according to the law, being testified of by all the Jews dwelling in Damascus,

⁷ Moreover he must have a good testimony among those outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
