1 Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 We are obligated to give thanks to God always for you, brothers, and rightfully so, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all increases towards one another,
4 so that we ourselves are boasting in you among the churches of God about your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure,
5 which is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, so that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, on behalf of which you also suffer;
6 since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,
7 and to give you who are being afflicted rest along with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with His mighty angels,
8 in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 These shall pay a penalty--eternal destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His might,
10 whenever He comes, in that Day, to be glorified among His saints and to be marveled among all those having believed, because our testimony among you was believed.
11 Therefore we also pray always concerning you that our God may count you worthy of this calling, and may fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power,
12 in order that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

20 which He worked in Christ, having raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies,

18 that you may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height--
19 and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly more than all the things which we ask or think, according to the power which is working in us,
21 to Him be glory in the church in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Philippians 1:6
6 having been persuaded of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus;
7 just as it is right for me to think this concerning you all, because I have you in my heart, both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of grace.
Philippians 1:9
9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all perception,
Philippians 1:9-11
9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all perception,
10 that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ,
11 having been filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:28
28 and not being terrified in anything by your enemies, which is to them a proof of destruction, but to you of salvation, and this from God.
Philippians 2:9-11
9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him, and has graciously given Him a name which is above every name,

19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame--who are mindful of earthly things.
Colossians 1:9-13
9 On account of this we also, since the day we heard, do not cease praying for you, and asking that you may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 that you should walk worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit and increasing in the full knowledge of God;
11 being strengthened with all power, according to the might of His glory, for all endurance and longsuffering with joy;
12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light.
Colossians 1:12-13

1 Thessalonians 1:1-10
1 Thessalonians 1:2-3
1 Thessalonians 1:3-3
3 constantly remembering your work of faith, labor of love, and perseverance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of our God and Father,
1 Thessalonians 1:3
3 constantly remembering your work of faith, labor of love, and perseverance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of our God and Father,
4 knowing, beloved brothers, your election by God.
5 For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, just as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.
1 Thessalonians 1:5
5 For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, just as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.
6 And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, in that you received the word in much tribulation, with joy of the Holy Spirit,
7 so that you became patterns to all those who believe in Macedonia and Achaia.
8 For from you the word of the Lord has resounded, not only in Macedonia and in Achaia, but also in every place. Your faith toward God has gone forth, so that we have no need to say anything.
9 For they themselves report about us what kind of entrance we had to you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God,
10 and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, Jesus, who delivers us from the coming wrath.
1 Thessalonians 2:1
1 For you yourselves know, brothers, regarding our coming to you, that it was not in vain.
1 Thessalonians 2:12-13
12 that you would make your walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.
13 Because of this we also give thanks to God unceasingly, so that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you received not the word of men, but just as it truly is, the word of God, which also is at work in you who believe.
1 Thessalonians 2:13-13
13 Because of this we also give thanks to God unceasingly, so that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you received not the word of men, but just as it truly is, the word of God, which also is at work in you who believe.
14 For you, brothers, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus, because you suffered the same things from your fellow countrymen, just as also they did by the Jews,
1 Thessalonians 2:19
19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of boasting? Is it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming?
1 Thessalonians 3:2-8
2 and sent Timothy, our brother and minister of God, and our fellow worker in the gospel of Christ, in order to establish you and encourage you concerning your faith,
3 that no one should be disturbed by these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we are appointed unto this.
4 For even when we were with you, we were telling you in advance that we were going to be afflicted, just as it also happened, and you know.
5 Because of this, when I could no longer endure it, I sent to learn about your faith, lest somehow the tempter had tempted you, and our labor be in vain.
6 But now when Timothy came to us from you, and brought good news to us of your faith and your love, and that you have good remembrance of us always, longing to see us, as we also long to see you--
1 Thessalonians 3:6-8
6 But now when Timothy came to us from you, and brought good news to us of your faith and your love, and that you have good remembrance of us always, longing to see us, as we also long to see you--
7 because of this we were encouraged, brothers, in regard to you in all our affliction and distress by your faith.
8 Because now we live, if you stand firm in the Lord.
9 For whatever thanksgiving can we render to God for you, for all the joy with which we are rejoicing because of you in the presence of our God,
1 Thessalonians 3:9-13
9 For whatever thanksgiving can we render to God for you, for all the joy with which we are rejoicing because of you in the presence of our God,
10 night and day praying exceedingly that we may see your face and to perfect what is lacking in your faith?
11 Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, lead us directly to you.
12 And may the Lord make you to increase and abound in love toward one another and toward all men, as indeed we also do toward you,
1 Thessalonians 3:12-13
1 Thessalonians 4:1
1 Finally then, brothers, we request of you and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you should abound more.
1 Thessalonians 4:5
5 not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God,
1 Thessalonians 4:9-10
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
16 Because the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a word of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.
17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 5:3
3 For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, just as labor pains upon the woman that is pregnant, and they shall by no means escape.
2 Thessalonians 1:5
5 which is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, so that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, on behalf of which you also suffer;
6 since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,
7 and to give you who are being afflicted rest along with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with His mighty angels,
2 Thessalonians 1:10
10 whenever He comes, in that Day, to be glorified among His saints and to be marveled among all those having believed, because our testimony among you was believed.
11 Therefore we also pray always concerning you that our God may count you worthy of this calling, and may fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power,
12 in order that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Thessalonians 2:8
8 And then the lawless one will be unveiled, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth, and will destroy by the brightness of His coming,
2 Thessalonians 2:13
13 But we are obligated to give thanks to God always for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation, through sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth,
14 to which He called you through our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Thessalonians 3:5
5 Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.
2 Timothy 1:12
12 For which cause I also suffer these things; but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I have been persuaded that He is able to guard that which I have committed to Him until that Day.
2 Timothy 1:18
18 May the Lord grant to him to find mercy from the Lord in that Day--and you very well know how many ways he served in Ephesus.
2 Timothy 2:12
2 Timothy 4:8
8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not only to me, but also to all those who have loved His appearing.
Titus 2:11
11 For the saving grace of God has appeared to all men,
Titus 2:13
13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,
Titus 3:4-7
4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared,
5 not by works of righteousness which we did, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
6 whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 that having been justified by His grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Hebrews 2:3
3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which in the beginning was spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,

9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,

15 And so, after he had been patient, he obtained the promise.

28 so also Christ having been offered once in order to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time apart from sin for salvation, to those eagerly waiting for Him.
Hebrews 10:27
27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery zeal being about to devour the adversaries.
Hebrews 10:29
29 By how much worse punishment, do you think, will he be deemed worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, and has regarded as common the blood of the covenant, by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine; I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The LORD will judge His people."
Hebrews 10:32-33
Hebrews 10:36
36 For you have need of endurance, so that having done the will of God, you may receive the promise:
Hebrews 11:8
8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go forth to the place which he was about to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
Hebrews 12:1-3
1 So therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every impediment, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
2 looking unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:2
2 looking unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you be weary and discouraged in your souls.
Hebrews 12:29
29 For our God is a consuming fire.
James 1:3-4
James 5:7-8

11 Indeed we count those blessed who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and you saw the end of the Lord--that He is compassionate and He is merciful.

2 according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.
1 Peter 1:7-8
7 so that the genuineness of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes, though being tested with fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
8 Whom not having seen, you love, in whom now not seeing, but believing, you rejoice with inexpressible joy and glorified,
1 Peter 1:22
22 Since you have purified your souls by obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere love for the brothers, love one another fervently from a pure heart,

9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellent virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, of whom you became children, when you do good and are not afraid of any terror.

1 Peter 4:14
14 If you are reviled in the name of Christ, blessed are you, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On the one hand He is blasphemed, but on the other He is glorified.
15 For let not anyone of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evildoer, or as a meddler in other people's affairs;
16 but if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be put to shame, but let him glorify God in this matter.
17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who are disobedient to the gospel of God?
1 Peter 4:17
1 Peter 5:10
10 But may the God of all grace, the One having called you into His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, may He Himself make you complete--He will establish, strengthen, and firmly ground you.

2 Peter 1:6
6 and with knowledge self-control, and with self-control perseverance, and with perseverance godliness,
7 and with godliness brotherly love, and with brotherly love, love.
8 For if these things belong to you and are increasing, it makes you neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 For he who lacks these things is blind, being shortsighted, having forgotten the cleansing of his past sins.
10 Therefore, brothers, be even more diligent to make your calling and election sure, for by doing these things you shall by no means stumble at any time.
2 Peter 1:13
13 But I consider it right, as long as I am in this tent, to stir you up by a reminder,

10 But the day of the Lord shall come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements, burning with heat, shall be dissolved, both the earth and the works that are in it shall be burned up.
11 Therefore, seeing that all these things shall be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,
12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens, being set of fire, shall be dissolved, and the elements, burning with heat, shall melt?
2 Peter 3:18
18 but grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and they serve Him day and night in His temple. And He that sits on the throne shall dwell among them.
16 They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; nor shall the sun by any means strike them, nor any scorching heat;
17 because the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them, and He leads them to the springs of the waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

12 Here is the endurance of the saints; those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
