⁴ These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the Lord of the earth.

¹⁴ You are the light of the world. A city lying on a hill is unable to be hidden. ¹⁵ Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but upon the lampstand, and it gives light to all those in the house. ¹⁶ Thus let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and they should glorify your Father in the heavens.

³³ But no one having lit a lamp, sets it in secret, nor under the basket, but upon the lampstand, that those entering in may see the light.

¹⁷ But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and have become a fellow-partaker of the fatness of the root of the olive tree,

²⁰ the mystery of the seven stars, which you saw on My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.
