¹ And a measuring rod like a staff was given to me, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those worshiping in it.

¹⁶ Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s temple, and the Spirit of God dwells in you? ¹⁷ If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are.

¹⁶ And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them, and will walk among them; and I will be their God, and they will be My people.”

¹⁴ But for me, may it be never to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me and I to the world. ¹⁵ For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision is anything; instead, a new creation. ¹⁶ And as many as those who will walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.

²⁰ having been built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone, ²¹ in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is increasing into a holy temple in the Lord, ²² in whom you also are being built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.

⁵ you yourselves also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house into a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

⁹ But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of the One having called you out of darkness into His marvelous light,

¹ And I saw another mighty angel coming down out of heaven, clothed with a cloud, and a rainbow upon his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire, ² and having in his hand a little scroll being open. And he placed his right foot upon the sea, and the left upon the earth. ³ And he cried out in a loud voice as a lion roars. And when he cried out, the seven thunders sounded their voice. ⁴ And when the seven thunders had spoken, I was about to write. But I heard a voice out of heaven, saying, “Seal what the seven thunders have spoken, and do not write them.” ⁵ And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to heaven,
