Jude Cross References - BLB

1 Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, To those called, having been loved in God the Father and having been kept in Jesus Christ. 2 Mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you. 3 Beloved, using all diligence to write to you concerning our common salvation, I had necessity to write to you, exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith having been delivered once for all to the saints. 4 For certain men came in stealthily, those having been designated long ago unto this condemnation, ungodly ones changing the grace of our God into sensuality and denying our only master and Lord, Jesus Christ. 5 Now I want to remind you, you having known all this, that Jesus, having saved at one time a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward He destroyed those not having believed. 6 And the angels not having kept their own domain, but having abandoned the own dwelling, He keeps in eternal chains under darkness, unto the judgment of the great day; 7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, having indulged in sexual immorality and having gone after strange flesh, in like manner with them are set forth as an example, undergoing the penalty of eternal fire. 8 Yet likewise also these dreaming ones indeed defile the flesh, and set aside authority, and blaspheme glorious ones. 9 But Michael the archangel, when he was reasoning with the devil, disputing about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring against him a blasphemous judgment, but he said “The Lord rebuke you.” 10 But these indeed speak evil of whatever things they have not seen; and whatever things they understand naturally, as the irrational animals, in these things they corrupt themselves. 11 Woe to them, because they have gone in the way of Cain, and rushed for profit to the error of Balaam, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. 12 These are the hidden reefs, feasting together with you fearlessly in your love feasts; shepherding themselves; clouds without water, being carried about by winds; autumnal trees without fruit, twice having died, having been uprooted; 13 wild waves of the sea, foaming out of their own shame; wandering stars, to whom the gloom of darkness has been reserved to the age. 14 And Enoch, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied as to these, saying: “Behold, the Lord has come amidst myriads of His holy ones, 15 to execute judgment against all, and to convict all the ungodly concerning all the works of ungodliness which they have done in an ungodly way, and concerning all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” 16 These are grumblers, discontented, following after the own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, flattering faces for the sake of profit. 17 But you, beloved, remember the words having been spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, 18 that they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following after their own passions of ungodlinesses.” 19 These are those causing divisions, worldly-minded, not having the Spirit. 20 But you, beloved, building up yourselves in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, awaiting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And indeed have mercy on those who are doubting; 23 and save others, snatching them out of the fire; and show mercy to others with fear, hating even the clothing having been stained by the flesh. 24 Now to Him being able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless in the presence of His glory, with exultation— 25 to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and to all the ages. Amen.

1 But there were also false prophets among the people, as there will be false teachers among you also, who will stealthily introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master having bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow after their sensuality, through whom the way of the truth will be maligned. 3 And through covetousness they will exploit you with fabricated words, for whom the judgment of long ago is not idle, and their destruction does not slumber.

18 For speaking arrogant words of vanity, they entice to sensuality with the passions of the flesh those barely escaping from those living in error, 19 promising them freedom, themselves being slaves of corruption. For by what anyone has been subdued, by that also he is enslaved. 20 For if, having escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, now again having been entangled in these they are subdued, the last state has become worse to them than the first. 21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to have turned from the holy commandment having been delivered to them. 22 The thing true of the proverb has happened to them: “A dog having returned to its own vomit,” and, “A sow having washed, to her rolling place in the mire.”

1 Corinthians 10:1-12

1 For I do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea. 2 And all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, 3 and all ate the same spiritual food, 4 and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they were drinking from the spiritual rock accompanying them, and the rock was Christ. 5 Nevertheless, God was not well pleased with most of them, for they were strewn in the wilderness. 6 Now these things have become types to us, for us not to be desirers of evil things, as they also desired. 7 Neither are you to be idolaters, as some of them, as it has been written: “The people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.” 8 Neither should we commit sexual immorality, as some of them committed sexual immorality, and twenty-three thousand fell in one day. 9 Neither should we test the Christ, as some of them tested, and were destroyed by serpents. 10 Neither are you to grumble, as some of them grumbled, and perished by the Destroyer. 11 Now these things happened to them as types and were written for our admonition, to whom the ends of the ages are arrived. 12 Therefore the one thinking to stand, let him take heed, lest he fall.

Luke 17:29

29 and in that day Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed all.

Romans 1:26-27

26 Because of this, God gave up them to passions of dishonor. For even their females changed the natural use into that contrary to nature. 27 And likewise also the males, having left the natural use of the female, were inflamed in their desire toward one another, males with males, working out shame and receiving in themselves the recompense which was fitting of their error.

10 and especially those walking after the flesh in the passion of defilement and despising authority. Bold, self-willed, they do not tremble blaspheming glorious ones, 11 whereas angels, being greater in strength and power, do not bring against them a reviling judgment before the Lord. 12 But these, like irrational animals, having been born as creatures of instinct for capture and destruction, blaspheming in what they are ignorant of, in their destruction also will be destroyed,

For you neither enter, nor even do you allow those who are entering to go in. 14 15 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you traverse the sea and the dry land to make one convert, and whenever it may happen, you make him twofold more a son of Gehenna than yourselves. 16 Woe to you, blind guides, those saying, ‘Whoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever shall swear by the gold of the temple is bound by his oath.’

The one abiding in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit. For apart from Me you are able to do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown out like the branch and is dried up, and they gather them and cast them into the fire, and it is burned.

1 Corinthians 11:20-22

20 Therefore, of you coming together in one place, it is not to eat the Lord’s supper. 21 For in eating, one takes first the own supper. And indeed this one is hungry, but that one is drunken. 22 What! Have you no houses in which to eat and to drink? Or do you despise the church of God and put to shame those having nothing? 4 For it is impossible for those once having been enlightened, and having tasted of the heavenly gift, and having become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and having tasted the goodness of God’s word and the power of the coming age— 6 and then having fallen away—to restore them again to repentance, crucifying in themselves the Son of God and subjecting Him to open shame. 7 For land having drunk in the rain coming often upon it and producing vegetation useful for those for the sake of whom also it is tilled, partakes of blessing from God. 8 But that bringing forth thorns and thistles is worthless and near to a curse, of which the end is unto burning.

17 These are springs without water and mists being driven by storm, for whom gloom of darkness has been reserved.

2 Timothy 3:13

13 But evil men and imposters will advance to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

Hebrews 11:5-6

5 By faith Enoch was translated not to see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him up. 31 Because of this I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men; but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 And if anyone speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but if anyone speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, neither in this age nor in the coming one. 33 Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad. For the tree is known by the fruit. 34 Offspring of vipers, how are you able to speak good things, being evil? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. 35 The good man out of his good treasure puts forth good things, and the evil man out of his evil treasure puts forth evil things. 36 And I say to you that every careless word that they will speak, men will give an account of it in day of judgment. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

6 and He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction, having reduced them to ashes, having set an example of what is coming on the ungodly; 7 and He rescued righteous Lot, being distressed by the conduct in sensuality of the lawless 8 (for that righteous man dwelling, among them, day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul, through seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)— 9 then the Lord knows to deliver the devout out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous being punished unto the day of judgment,

1 My brothers, do not with partiality hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory. 2 For if a man might come into your assembly in splendid apparel with gold rings, and a poor man in shabby apparel also might come in, 3 and you should look upon the one wearing the splendid apparel and should say, “You sit here honorably,” and to the poor should say, “You stand,” or, “Sit there under my footstool,” 4 then have you not made a distinction among yourselves and have become judges with evil thoughts? 5 Listen, my beloved brothers: Has not God chosen the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that He promised to those loving Him? 6 But you have dishonored the poor. Are not the rich oppressing you and they dragging you into court? 7 Are they not blaspheming the good Name having been called upon you? 8 If indeed you keep the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well. 9 But if you show partiality, you are committing sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors.

Hebrews 9:28

28 so also Christ, having been offered once in order to bear the sins of many, will appear for a second time, apart from sin, to those awaiting Him for salvation.

2 Peter 3:12

12 expecting and hastening the coming of the day of God, by reason of which the heavens will be dissolved, being set on fire, and the elements are melting, burning with heat.

1 John 3:16-17

16 By this we have known love, because He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. 17 Now whoever might have the world’s goods, and might see his brother having need, and might close up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

1 John 4:16

16 And we have come to know and have come to believe the love that God has as to us. God is love, and the one abiding in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

1 John 5:10-11

10 The one believing in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one not believing God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has testified concerning His Son. 11 And this is the testimony: that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

1 John 5:18

James 5:19-20

19 My brothers, if anyone among you might wander from the truth, and someone should bring him back, 20 let him know that the one having brought back a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death, and will cover over a multitude of sins.

1 John 5:16-18

16 If anyone should see his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask, and He will give him life, to those sinning not unto death. There is a sin unto death; I do not say that he should implore concerning that. 17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not unto death. 18 We know that everyone having been born of God does not continue to sin, but the One having been begotten of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.

Jude 1:4-13

1 Corinthians 5:9-11

9 I wrote to you in the letter not to associate with the sexually immoral, 10 not altogether with the sexually immoral of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or idolaters—since then you would need to depart from the world. 11 But now, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone being designated a brother if he is sexually immoral or a coveter, or an idolater or verbal abuser, or a drunkard or swindler—with such a one not even to eat.

1 Corinthians 15:33

33 Do not be misled: “Bad companionships corrupt good morals.”

2 Corinthians 7:10-12

10 For grief according to God produces repentance to salvation without regret; but the world’s grief produces death. 11 For behold, how much earnestness this very same thing—to have been grieved according to God—has produced in you: but reasoned defense, but indignation, but fear, but longing, but zeal, but vindication! In everything, you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter. 12 So even if I wrote to you, it was not for the sake of the one having done wrong, nor for the sake of the one having suffered wrong, but rather for the sake of your earnestness for us being revealed to you before God.

2 Thessalonians 3:14

14 And if anyone does not obey our instruction through the letter, take note of this man, not to mix with him, so that he may be ashamed.
