¹⁸ For I say to you that I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now until the kingdom of God shall come.”

¹⁸ And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades not will prevail against it.

²⁹ And I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now until that the day when I drink it anew with you in the kingdom of My Father.”

¹ And He was saying to them, “Truly I say to you that there are some of those standing here who shall not taste of death until they see the kingdom of God having come with power.”

²³ And having taken the cup, having given thanks, He gave it to them, and they all drank of it.

²⁵ Truly I say to you that never will I drink of the fruit of the vine again, until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of God.”

²³ And they were offering Him wine, having been mixed with gall; but He did not take it.

²⁷ And I say to you truthfully, there are some of those standing here who shall not taste of death until they shall have seen the kingdom of God.”

³¹ So also you, when you see these things coming to pass, know that the kingdom of God is near.

¹⁶ For I say to you that never again will I eat thereof, until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”

³⁰ being therefore a prophet and knowing that God swore to him with an oath to set out of the fruit of his loins upon his throne. ³¹ Having foreseen, he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was He abandoned into Hades, nor did His flesh see decay. ³² This Jesus God has raised up, to which we all are witnesses. ³³ Therefore having been exalted at the right hand of God, and having received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He has poured out this which you are both seeing and hearing. ³⁴ For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself says: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, ³⁵ until I place Your enemies as a footstool of Your feet.”’ ³⁶ Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made Him both Lord and Christ—this Jesus whom you crucified.”

¹⁸ and not to be drunk with wine in which is debauchery. Instead be filled with the Spirit, ¹⁹ speaking to each other in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,

¹³ who has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of His beloved Son,
