⁴³ Καὶ (And) προσκαλεσάμενος (having called to Him) τοὺς (the) μαθητὰς (disciples) αὐτοῦ (of Him), εἶπεν (He says) αὐτοῖς (to them), “Ἀμὴν (Truly) λέγω (I say) ὑμῖν (to you) ὅτι (that) ἡ (the) χήρα (widow) αὕτη (this) ἡ (-) πτωχὴ (poor), πλεῖον (more) πάντων (than all) ἔβαλεν (has cast in) τῶν (of those) βαλλόντων (casting) εἰς (into) τὸ (the) γαζοφυλάκιον (treasury).

⁴² καὶ (And) ὃς (whoever) ἂν* (-) ποτίσῃ (shall give to drink) ἕνα (one) τῶν (the) μικρῶν (little ones) τούτων (of these) ποτήριον (a cup) ψυχροῦ (of cold water), μόνον (only) εἰς (in the) ὄνομα (name) μαθητοῦ (of a disciple), ἀμὴν (truly) λέγω (I say) ὑμῖν (to you), οὐ (no) μὴ (not) ἀπολέσῃ (shall he lose) τὸν (the) μισθὸν (reward) αὐτοῦ (of him).”

²⁹ τῶν (-) δὲ (And) μαθητῶν (the disciples), καθὼς (as) εὐπορεῖτό (was prospered) τις (anyone), ὥρισαν (determined) ἕκαστος (each) αὐτῶν (of them), εἰς (for) διακονίαν (ministry), πέμψαι (to send) τοῖς (to the) κατοικοῦσιν (dwelling) ἐν (in) τῇ (-) Ἰουδαίᾳ (Judea) ἀδελφοῖς (brothers),

² ὅτι (that) ἐν (in) πολλῇ (much) δοκιμῇ (proof) θλίψεως (of tribulation), ἡ (the) περισσεία (abundance) τῆς (of the) χαρᾶς (joy) αὐτῶν (of them) καὶ (and) ἡ (-) κατὰ (of) βάθους (deep) πτωχεία (poverty) αὐτῶν (of them) ἐπερίσσευσεν (abounded) εἰς (into) τὸ (the) πλοῦτος (riches) τῆς (the) ἁπλότητος (generosity) αὐτῶν (of them).

¹² εἰ (If) γὰρ (for) ἡ (the) προθυμία (readiness) πρόκειται (is present), καθὸ (as) ἐὰν (if) ἔχῃ (he might have) εὐπρόσδεκτος (acceptable), οὐ (not) καθὸ (as) οὐκ (not) ἔχει (he does have).

⁶ Τοῦτο (This) δέ (now): ὁ (The one) σπείρων (sowing) φειδομένως (sparingly), φειδομένως (sparingly) καὶ (also) θερίσει (will reap); καὶ (and) ὁ (the one) σπείρων (sowing) ἐπ’ (upon) εὐλογίαις (blessings), ἐπ’ (upon) εὐλογίαις (blessings) καὶ (also) θερίσει (will reap), ⁷ ἕκαστος (each) καθὼς (as) προῄρηται (he purposes) τῇ (in the) καρδίᾳ (heart), μὴ (not) ἐκ (out of) λύπης (regret) ἢ (or) ἐξ (of) ἀνάγκης (necessity); ἱλαρὸν (a cheerful) γὰρ (for) δότην (giver) ἀγαπᾷ (loves) ὁ (-) Θεός (God). ⁸ δυνατεῖ (Able is) δὲ (now) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) πᾶσαν (all) χάριν (grace) περισσεῦσαι (to make abound) εἰς (to) ὑμᾶς (you), ἵνα (so that) ἐν (in) παντὶ (every way), πάντοτε (always), πᾶσαν (all) αὐτάρκειαν (sufficiency) ἔχοντες (having), περισσεύητε (you may abound) εἰς (in) πᾶν (every) ἔργον (work) ἀγαθόν (good).
