¹ And he said to them: Verily I say to you, There are some of these standing here who shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God come in power.

²⁸ Verily I say to you, There are some standing here that shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

³⁰ And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the land mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

³¹ When the Son of man shall come in his own glory, and all the holy angels with him, then will he sit on the throne of his own glory;

²⁶ And then shall they see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

³⁰ Verily I say to you, this generation shall not pass away, till all these things take place.

²⁶ and it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit, that he should not see death before he had seen the Lord's Anointed.

²⁷ But I say to you, of a truth, there are some of these who stand here that shall not taste of death till they see the kingdom of God.

¹⁸ for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine till the kingdom of God has come.

³⁰ that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

⁵¹ Verily, verily I say to you, if any one will keep my word, he shall never see death. ⁵² Then said the Jews to him: Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and you say, If a man keep my word, he shall never taste of death.

²³ Therefore, this saying went out among the brethren, that that disciple should not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?

⁶ Therefore, when they came together, they asked him, saying: Lord, wilt thou at this time restore the kingdom to Israel? ⁷ But he said to them: It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has reserved under his own control.

⁹ But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, that he might, by the grace of God, taste death for every man- we see him, on account of his having suffered death, crowned with glory and honor.
