Acts 1:16-21

Worsley(i) 16 and said, Men and brethren, it was necessary that this scripture should be fulfilled, which the holy Ghost spake by the mouth of David, concerning Judas, who was guide to them that apprehended Jesus: 17 for he was numbered with us, and had obtained a part of this ministry. 18 (Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling down on his face, burst asunder in the middle, and all his bowels gushed out: 19 (and it was known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the field is called in their own dialect, Aceldama, that is, the field of blood:) 20 for it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let none dwell in it; and again, Let another take his office.) 21 Wherefore it is necessary that one of these men, who have been conversant with us all the time that the Lord Jesus came in and out among us,
