3 Whose adorning, let it not be that without, of plaiting the hair, and putting on of gold, or wearing fine clothes;
4 but the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
5 For so also formerly the holy women, who hoped in God, adorned themselves, being submissive to their husbands; as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him her lord:
6 whose daughters ye are, if ye do well, and are not terrified with any sinful fear.
