Romans 15:8-19

Worrell(i) 8 For I say that Christ hath become a minister of the circumcision, in behalf of God's truth, that He might confirm the promises made to the fathers; 9 and that the gentiles might glorify God for His mercy; as it has been written, "For this cause, I will confess to Thee among the gentiles; and to Thy name will I sing praise." 10 And again He saith, "Rejoice, ye gentiles with His people." 11 And again, "Praise the Lord, all ye gentiles, and let all the people extol Him." 12 And again Isaiah says, "There shall be the Root of Jesse, and He Who riseth up to rule over the gentiles, on Him will the gentiles hope." 13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound In hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit. 14 And I myself also have become persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye yourselves also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another. 15 But I wrote to you the more boldly in part, as reminding you again, because of the grace which was given to me from God, 16 that I should be a minister of Jesus Christ to the gentiles, ministering the Gospel of God, that the offering up of the gentiles may become acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit. 17 I have, therefore, my glorying in Christ Jesus as to the things pertaining to God. 18 For I will venture to speak only of the things which God wrought through me for the obedience of the gentiles, by word and deed, 19 in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and around as far as Illyricum, I have fully dispensed the Gospel of Christ;
