Worrell⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁸ For I say that Christ hath become a minister of the circumcision, in behalf of God's truth, that He might confirm the promises made to the fathers; ⁹ and that the gentiles might glorify God for His mercy; as it has been written, "For this cause, I will confess to Thee among the gentiles; and to Thy name will I sing praise." ¹⁰ And again He saith, "Rejoice, ye gentiles with His people." ¹¹ And again, "Praise the Lord, all ye gentiles, and let all the people extol Him." ¹² And again Isaiah says, "There shall be the Root of Jesse, and He Who riseth up to rule over the gentiles, on Him will the gentiles hope." ¹³ Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound In hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit. ¹⁴ And I myself also have become persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye yourselves also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another. ¹⁵ But I wrote to you the more boldly in part, as reminding you again, because of the grace which was given to me from God, ¹⁶ that I should be a minister of Jesus Christ to the gentiles, ministering the Gospel of God, that the offering up of the gentiles may become acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit. ¹⁷ I have, therefore, my glorying in Christ Jesus as to the things pertaining to God. ¹⁸ For I will venture to speak only of the things which God wrought through me for the obedience of the gentiles, by word and deed, ¹⁹ in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and around as far as Illyricum, I have fully dispensed the Gospel of Christ;
