Be zealous, therefore, and repent. ²⁰ "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if anyone hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me. ²¹ He that overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with Me in My throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with My Father in His throne. ²² He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the assemblies. ⁴ ¹ After these things I saw, and, behold, a door opened in Heaven; and the first voice which I heard was as a voice of a trumpet speaking with me, saying, "Come up hither, and I will show you the things which must take place after these." ² Straightway I was in the Spirit, and, behold, there was a throne set in Heaven, and One sitting upon the throne; ³ and He Who was sitting was, in appearance, like a jasper stone and a sardius; there was a rainbow round about the throne, in appearance, like an emerald; ⁴ and around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones twenty-four elders sitting, arrayed in white garments, and on their heads crowns of gold. ⁵ And out of the throne proceed lightnings and voices and thunderings; and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God; ⁶ and before the throne, as it were a glassy sea like crystal; and, in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, four living creatures full of eyes before and behind. ⁷ And the first living creature was like a lion; and the second living creature like a calf; and the third living creature having a face as of a man; and the fourth living creature was like an eagle flying. ⁸ And the four living creatures, having each one of them six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and they have no rest, day and night, saying, "Holy! Holy! Holy! the Lord God, the Almighty, Who was, and Who is, and Who is coming!" ⁹ And, when the living creatures shall give glory and honor and thanksgiving to Him Who sitteth on the throne—to Him Who liveth forever and ever, ¹⁰ the twenty-four elders will fall down before Him Who sitteth on the throne, and will worship Him Who liveth forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying, ¹¹ "Worthy art Thou, our Lord and our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power; because Thou didst create all things; and, because of Thy will, they were, and were created."
