Mark 6:25-28

Worrell(i) 25 And, coming in straight-way, in haste, to the king, she asked, saying, "I wish that you would, forthwith, give me on a dish, the head of John the Immerser." 26 And, though becoming very sorrowful, the king, because of his oaths, and those reclining with him, would not thwart her. 27 And the king, straightway sending off one of his guard, gave orders to bring his head; and, departing, he beheaded him in the prison, 28 and brought his head on a dish, and gave it to the damsel, and the damsel gave it to her mother.
