John 5:18-25

Worrell(i) 18 For this cause, therefore, the Jews were seeking the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the sabbath, but also called God His Father, making Himself equal with God. 19 Jesus, therefore, answered and said to them, "Verily, verily, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father doing; for whatsoever things He doeth, these also, in like manner, the Son doeth. 20 For the Father loveth the Son, and showeth Him all things which He Himself doeth; and greater works than these will He show Him, that ye may marvel. 21 For, as the Father raiseth the dead, and maketh them alive; so also the Son maketh alive whom He willeth. 22 For neither doth the Father judge any one, but all judgment He hath given to the Son; 23 that all may honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He that honors not the Son honors not the Father Who sent Him. 24 "Verily, verily, I say to you, He that hears My word, and believes Him Who sent Me, has eternal life, and comes not into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. 25 Verily, verily, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those having heard shall live.
