But he said to them, "Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and press my hand into His side, I will not believe." ²⁶ And, after eight days, again His disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Jesus cometh, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, "Peace be to you!" ²⁷ Then He saith to Thomas, "Reach hither your finger, and see My hands; and reach hither your hand, and press it into My side; and be not faithless, but believing." ²⁸ Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" ²⁹ Jesus saith to him, "Because you have seen Me, you believe: happy are those who did not see, and yet believed."
