Acts 2:22-38

Worrell(i) 22 "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus, the Nazarene, a man accredited from God to you by miracles, and wonders, and signs, which God did through Him in the midst of you, even as ye yourselves know; 23 This Man, delivered up by the settled counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye, having fastened to the cross, through the hand of lawless ones, did slay: 24 Whom God raised up, having loosed the pangs of death; because it was not possible that He should be held by it. 25 For David says concerning Him, 'I beheld the Lord in my presence continually; because He is on my right hand, that I should not be moved. 26 Therefore, my heart was glad, and my tongue greatly rejoiced; moreover my flesh also shall abide in hope: 27 because Thou wilt not leave My soul behind unto Hades; neither wilt Thou give Thy Holy One to see corruption. 28 Thou didst make known to Me the ways of life; Thou wilt make Me full of gladness with Thy presence.' 29 "Brethren!
