1 Corinthians 12:31-14:1

Worrell(i) 31 But desire earnestly the greater gifts; and a still more excellent way I show you. 13 1 If I speak with tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. 2 And, if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all the mysteries and all knowledge; and, if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing, 3 And, if I bestow in morsels all my goods; and, if I give my body to he burned, but have not love, I am profited nothing. 4 Love suffers long, is kind; love envies not; love vaunts not herself, is not puffed up, 5 behaves not unseemly, seeks not her own, is not provoked, takes no account of evil, 6 rejoices not at unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails; but whether there be prophecies, they will be done away; whether there be tongues, they will cease; whether there be knowledge, it will be done away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; 10 but, when the complete comes, the partial will be done away. 11 When I was a child, I was wont to talk as a child, to think as a child, to reason as a child; since I have become a man, I have done away with the things of the child; 12 for now we see through a mirror, obscurely; but then, face to face; now I know in part, but then I shall fully know, even as I also was fully known. 13 But now abides faith, hope, love; these three; and the greatest of these is love. 14 1 Pursue love; and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.
